https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1445947.9620

This is the guy who turned up on our Slack and tried to blackmail us a few days back. We told him where to go.
Evidence? None. Our Incent reserve is intact. We're spending the btc on development. If anyone has proof otherwise, I'd love to see it.

Nice to see some excess supply being taken off the market.

Our next major update was scheduled for sometime around now, but in the coming week we are meeting as a team for several days to thrash out some of the key details that will enable us to get to market effectively with Merchant #1 at the end of this quarter. I makes sense to include that information in the update, so it will be at the beginning of next month.

Why the ticker now is INCNT? Should INT be better? I doube that the ticker is good, maybe too long, the price is not good, and the exchanges are not a lot. Investors do not happy at all.   Cry

Yeah I agree with you, Incent was born as a dead coin already because its ticker is too long, if it was INT only it would be worth a lot more lol

It is a well-known fact that price inversely correlates to ticker length.

P = k/L, where 'k' is some constant that has nothing to do with development, marketing, research or being right where we said we were going to be at this point in the schedule.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: February 17, 2017, 06:01:37 PM
Apple, with Intel inside.
Bitcoin, assisted by Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Huobi...
Gamecredits, powered by MobileGo.

I'm struggling to see the problem here.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][INCNT] Incent Loyalty | Waves CAT | $1.1m raised | Roll-out Q1 2017 on: February 17, 2017, 12:37:35 PM

Good effort to combine Ethereum and Waves. But what will be Incent's role on when MOBILEGO is somewhat has similarity already with with reward system? Plus Games Credits also used?  Huh

Incent is integrated in the ICO tech. Every deposit for MobileGo's ICO will result in 0.5% of that amount of Incent being bought at market price.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][INCNT] Incent Loyalty | Waves CAT | $1.1m raised | Roll-out Q1 2017 on: February 16, 2017, 02:46:36 PM
... MobileGo will be using Incent's ICO tech for their crowdfund, and of course Incent is baked right in. For every $1,000 deposited, $5 of Incent will be bought in real time (0.5%) and distributed to ICO investors as a reward.

This is one of a number of partnerships and updates we've been wanting to tell you about, but we've needed to wait until MobileGo was ready to announce.

Wow that's very nice Smiley
How exactly will distribution work though?

So MobileGo (MGO) will be a Waves asset and an Ethereum asset, thanks to some cool blockswap tech being developed by Pete and Kyle (Incent's devs). Because it's Incent deposit tech, it will operate on Waves and create a Waves token at the end, as well as an Ethereum token (I'm not sure at what point the Ethereum MGO tokens are created). Everyone will need to register a Waves address for their tokens, so Incent will be bought off market and sent there. Again, I'm not 100% sure whether the distribution will work in real time, or whether the Incent will be registered to them and then distributed with the MGO token after the ICO.
Either way, it's pretty cool and a nice use case for Incent. And the better MGO does, the more buy pressure and liquidity there is for Incent.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][INCNT] Incent Loyalty | Waves CAT | $1.1m raised | Roll-out Q1 2017 on: February 16, 2017, 02:18:53 PM
It's worth reiterating that our ICO investors deposited funds to enable us to develop and promote Incent, and that's exactly what we're doing. We will not be spending funds to manipulate the market to satisfy those who, for whatever reason, want to cash out now, before we've even launched properly.

For those here who are interested in the long-term success of Incent, there should be an announcement about a project that will benefit Incent tomorrow.

Curious to hear the update. Good news that things are moving forward!

GameCredits are launching an ICO for their new product, MobileGo. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1792451
This is an extremely promising project. GAME is a very strong proposition, allowing gamers to move money into, out of and around the gaming industry without the significant frictions that are entailed with credit cards and bank transfers (deposit limits, delays, high fees, blocked transactions...).
MobileGo will drive traffic to their new mobile gaming store, and into the gamecredits ecosystem and currency.

What does this have to do with Incent? Scroll down the ANN https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1792451 and you'll see a familiar name. MobileGo will be using Incent's ICO tech for their crowdfund, and of course Incent is baked right in. For every $1,000 deposited, $5 of Incent will be bought in real time (0.5%) and distributed to ICO investors as a reward.

This is an extremely promising project and I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops. This will push enormous activity into the gamecredits community and currency. Great job.

With such approach, it is simple to trust you and to wait when the price has sunk for 70% of ico of investments and to wait when you buy Btc x2 below from Ico closer by summer - and will begin to return the price to ICO of late investors 0.00014
It is not the best approach of you, you will see the price the other day of 1 Satosh at one of the exchanges good luck to rise after such falling I personally will go beyond Incent and I will sell 200k Incent we have heard you, you haven't satisfied us
Good Luck! for you Correctly writed traders in russian topic Incent Scam Coin

I challenge you to find a single piece of evidence that Incent is a scam. We have been transparent throughout, have sought legal clarification where needed and have kept to best practices from the start. We're a registered company with public figures. If you had a legitimate grievance, there would be ways to address that.
If what you mean by 'scam coin' is that you're upset you weren't able to flip it for immediate profit and will have to wait for the timeline we published at ICO, then that's on you, not us. For your sake I hope you don't sell at a loss but it's up to you.

Buying or selling right now is hard - there just isn't the liquidity. Small orders push the price around a lot.
When we start integrating merchants, we'll be doing some marketmaking to buffer those movements a bit.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][INCNT] Incent Loyalty | Waves CAT | $1.1m raised | Roll-out Q1 2017 on: February 15, 2017, 09:22:18 AM
In Russian topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1628379.960 there is a growing public dissatisfaction, about price very low..
it wouldn't be bad to reach ico price sometimes at least

There was an unpleasant incident last night when someone came onto our Slack and tried to blackmail us into supporting the price on different exchanges. The gist was that if we didn't start buying tokens to increase the price, he and his mates would create a thread on bitcointalk and denounce Incent as a scam, ruining our reputation. Naturally we told him where to go. We also took screenshots, which make it very clear what's going on should we need to. (In practice, I doubt it would make much difference, since the businesses we're talking to don't routinely come to bitcointalk for information.)

We'd all like to see a higher price, but that will come with merchant adoption and we're simply not prepared to use the BTC we collected for marketing and development of Incent to manipulate it, at the expense of the long-term success of the project. That's not what we held the ICO for and it would be unethical and possibly borderline criminal to do that.

A final cross-post from Rob on Slack:
Quote
Okay @bitcointalkdtm: I have allowed this to run far enough. My position is that we have been upfront, honest and clear with our community. My team have confirmed that we are not, as an entity, active on either side of the market. As proof of this we have made the location of our reserve public so that it can be audited by the community. Conversely, what I can understand of your invective is ill-informed, destructive and inflammatory. You seem hell bent on attacking our project and while I do not understand why, I don't have to witness it on our community slack. Goodbye.

It is pleasant update to see INCNT at liqui but who are these people those with selling at around 6000 satoshi with selling orders because its ICO price was approximated 17000 satoshi. This is only thing which is bothering me at the moment. Why someone will want to sell with loss. We need buy support from Incent team to lift the price up.

I totally agree with you that the team need to help with the price and set up buy order, it seems the team just need the money take it and run and wait for the tokens to die. I don't think is the bounty hunters that is killing the price
who know the team themselves doing this.. they are just trying to sell and dump their remaining coins which are not sold in ICO... have team ever told us what will he to with the remaining tokens? this is not time of trust guys.

It's also not the time of FUD when we are 1.5 months away from the expected roll-out, as it is planned at the moment.

Is there a report onhow many INCENT were sold in ICO? Also those unsold tokens, is there an address where they are locked away? To verify no movement of funds on that address.

46 million. 23 million are the Reserve that we will use for prompt settlement, as detailed at ICO and numerous times since.
I'll ask and dig out the escrow address for the Reserve but I'll tell you now, that's not where the selling is coming from.

Are you really suggesting that we take the funds that investors deposited at ICO for development, and use them to buy tokens back from people who decide - of their own free will - to sell at whatever price they want? That would, of course, be incredibly irresponsible of us.

We've always been clear about the schedule. Development is on track. No way are we burning funds because a few people are impatient. Sorry, if that was what you wanted you should have gone for a traditional P&D coin.

What's the latest news from development team?

When is the Application Infrastructure integration be compeleted?
Our short- to mid-term roadmap is all focused on getting our product integrated with the first merchant. We are aiming for end of Q1/beginning of Q2. As soon as this is completed, roll-out and integration to further merchants is considerably easier and faster.

Parallel to that we are still licensing our ICO technology. We will continue to do that since it provides a revenue stream for Incent iself (with which some interesting development have been funded) as well as it creates demand for Incent in the secondary market.

Timeline is not fixed I guess, overall nice progress. Absolutely no hype around Incent. Good sign.

It's not set in stone but we should be on track for end of q1 as planned.

Oh?  now you are trying to act as if you are some kind of "expert" in the topic.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  Maybe your "therapist" status shows that you want to be in "control"

This is not 'substantive'.

Quote
What you are an expert in is avoiding addressing topics, and taking matters personally and diversion... If you just attempted to respond to the substance of my post in regards to bitcoin and the questions that I asked you in terms of backing up your bitcoin related claims:

This is projection.

(here's your statement:  "Is it possible that the Chinese exchanges have been faking volumes even since the last talk with PBoC, which resulted in them starting to charge fees? That would help explain why this week's PBoC intervention hasn't had much of an impact."), and I had asked some questions from you to attempt to back up your speculation.

This is not a statement.
It is a question. The statement that immediately follows is the back up. The former explains the latter. It's one explanation for what's going on. Not the best, not the worst. For your delectation and appreciation, I've put another one below.

If you could stick to the topic of bitcoin, then maybe we would not be delving into this land of irrelevance and your supposed "expertise" in a non-topical issue, your stupid-ass attempts at arm-chair diagnosis of psychology.

This is definitely projection.
Here's how we can be sure. If you answer this post, you will be the one further 'delving into this land of irrelevance', proving me incontrovertibly right. Go on. Answer Smiley
And that, my friend, is called 'Reverse Psychology'.

On-topic: China had relatively little effect and my guess is that the ETF won't have a dramatic impact, one way or another. Markets don't exactly react to news, they treat it as an excuse to go where they want to anyway. Hence the headlines that say: USD fell in response to disappointing jobs data // USD rose despite disappointing jobs data. We've been in a strong uptrend for months with no real sign of a bubble or blow-off top, so I'm expecting that to continue until such time as it looks like it's overcooked things. At which point China, the ETF or some other reason will provide the 'reason' to switch to bear mode.

Beer o'clock. Over and out.
639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2017, 07:17:51 PM

that is my opinion all along: jjg is doing exactly what he is accusing others. i did not know that was a known phenomenon. i thought he is just trolling. good find, cassius.

I was a therapist, in another life. One of the reasons I stopped was because it's exhausting when people say the same thing week in and out but do nothing about it. Unfortunately, most people don't really want to change. Their neuroses serve a purpose and are the price of not having to make the effort required actually to get better.
I don't entirely blame them. The human mind is hardwired for economy and change is hard. It's just frustrating, that's all.
You're able to read between the lines so you'll understand the relevance for this situation.

good grief what?  I asked you to explain, and I provided my own assessment... but instead you gots nothing, except for finger pointing and implied whining that you are being picked on (but you are the one that spouted out the incomplete ideas in the first place that raised these kinds of questions, no?)
