The 0.11.0.0 Helium Hydra GUI for GNU/Linux, 64bit and 32bit, Microsoft Windows 64bit and Mac OS X 64bit are now available for download. https://getmonero.org/downloads/great, just downloaded and want to run the GUI, but it all the time gives me an error cause it can not connect with local node ... something goes bad loading the monerod... tried it on another pc , in another netwerk and same issue. Could somebody help? The GUI binaries aren't finalized yet. The download page still states GUI Beta 2.

When the upgrade has to be done? If the upgrade is not done, the wallet will just not sync? I just has to replace the old files with the new ones? No need to start the sync from beginning? 1. Before approximately the 15th of September. 2. Correct 3. Yes or create a new directory and copy over the wallet files. 4. No, the daemon will pick up the sync where it left off.

Seems Monero will see some magical months now. So many things lined up till Christmas. Agreed a hardware wallet opens XMR to a totally new class of high net worth investor. This is fucking huge. indeed this is huge, but is there a time frame? days , weeks , months ? No timeframe but I'd be surprised if it was much before December. In their previous update they stated that there would be an alpha by the end of September.
