This resistance zone (230-235k) has broken for now, price has to get a bit higher to confirm though. Next resistance zone is around 270k. In addition, the 3d MACD flipped to green. Last time it flipped to green it preceded the rally from ~100k to ~430k.

good2cu  Smiley

Looks like a good amount of work from moneromoo and Shen Noether on RingCT.   Cool

This branch is easier to follow in my opinion:

- TLDR; talks about coinshuffle and coinshuffle++ being the best alternative rather than any mention of Monero.

Shocker.

I'm still waiting for the fud storm that XMR is mined entirely by malware.

It has started on r/monero:

Americanpegasus, please delete all other posts except the initial one. Makes no sense to have multiple threads for this.

Wilco- I am traveling so am not always in reach of the Internet.  You have been one of the best voices of reason in recent months, and the question has been raised as to whether you should help mod on /r/Monero.  Are you interested?

Job perks include being under constant scrutiny by the community and eventual accusations of censorship.  Your reward is a sense of contributing to one of the most important projects on the planet, and in the history of civilization.

Only if it wouldn't require that much additional time. Also, thanks for the kind words.

A friend of mine shared this article with me today.   Since he does security work on networks and the like for a living I always take what he says seriously about hacking.  He has also been a supporter of Monero since I got involved almost two years ago.

1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: June 14, 2016, 03:02:13 PM

There is no mention of XMR anywhere in Tok's post (and I saw it pretty much as soon as it went up).

Just before the flamewars start, he was right - I made a mistake.

Quickly corrected it after dEBRUYNE's heads up before anyone noticed  Grin

Just goes to show how much those XMR guys watch the DASH thread. Why are they so obsessed?

Yeah because reading a thread directly means obsessed. You also tend to forgot some people who are interested in Monero might be interested in DASH too, or vice-versa. The fact that 5.x% of the people is commited to the DASH stackexchange is also committed to the Monero stackexchange proves this:

@toknormal, why are you posting a chart that says DASH/XMR when that is the DASH/BTC chart?

What are you talking about ?

It says BTC   Huh

You must've been seeing things  Wink

No, you ninja edited your post.

Hello monero!
I'm still learning XMR, apparently it has great potential for investors and the community...one question,  is anonymity in monero network mathematically proven?

Yes, see the original whitepaper:

https://cryptonote.org/whitepaper.pdf

If you are interested, the Monero Research Lab has published some further whitepapers as well:

I was syncing blockchain and computer turned off. Now when I load bitmonerod it starts and then deinitializes. How do I fix?

Could you post a more specific error log? It's difficult to examine this way.

I used to mine/trade monero when it launched. what is the current inflation rate of XMR? It has been a long time.

On average 12.09 XMR per 2 minutes, so calculating back to 1 minute blocks that would be 6.045 XMR. See -> http://moneroblocks.info/tx/cb36437d32ca7cec8066ff9840c668342189bbec6e42321124037ff375d54b5e

Daily is -> 12.09*30*24 = ~8705 XMR per day.

Is there an easier way than coingecko to compare multiple coins vs usd stability?

Tradingview?

E.g. -> https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=xmrbtc*btcusd

You can change the symbols manually.

There seems to be some vast shorting demand, see:

http://monerodice.pd.to/polo_snapshot_compare.php?id=185608&id2=188862

185608 = yesterday morning (~ 11:30 UTC)

188862 = today (~14:30 UTC)

Rates also up from ~0.0015% to ~0.0400%

Shen Noether (NobleSir) already responded. Zcash team (Ian Miers -> https://z.cash/team.html) should at least know their shit before they respond.

my superbull chart.

You know what I never see? (Possibly because the information is too valuable to share). Charts showing the hypothetical future peaks we could see and where on the Fibonacci retracement that puts us now.  Essentially a forward looking type of Fibonacci analysis where you consider where we are sitting now vs a near term hypothetical peak.  There would be only 5 to 7 possibilities for a present price point.

I think you are looking for Fibonacci extensions?
