621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 21, 2020, 05:53:34 PM
Each time bitcoin see some pump, I see some FUDs or negativity around the forum. This has a great correlation. I wish I could put that correlation in a graph.
No one can say BTC won't have ATH again. No one could imagine BTC would hit $20000. No one will know where the limit is. BTC is limited and you know the usual supply from miners have decreased. Once, there will be a little organic buying pressure, it will certainly have an ATH.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope this helps new crypto investors, do not hesitate to read on: July 21, 2020, 05:39:13 PM
1. Beware of low marketcap coins, they are more profitable but less reliable, they can die real fast
This is what I talked most here and I think one of the most risky investment. Low marketcap coin can be easily manipulated and hyped by a single people and through creating fake hype, they attract newbie to invest on such project and the initial hype creator just dump their bag and rip the newbie off with a valueless shitcoin. Newbies must follow some basic rules to avoid getting their investment rip off.
Anyway, I think these are some good piece of advices for newbies.
623  Other / Meta / Re: Can moderators see where was the post reported? on: July 21, 2020, 05:25:09 PM
If the post wasn't moved based on a report, you might be right, like- mod has seen the topic not in perfect board and moved it but if someone else also had reported the topic and mod moved it to correct board, your report should also be marked as good. You may get some idea here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5261088.0
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 21, 2020, 05:14:30 PM
For All rounders its works like that, Pick their points from Batting + Bowling table and multiply them together then divide by 1000.
Where did you get the formula, can you share an authentic source of this calculation? I have tried google this but got none although the calculation you shared seems to be perfect.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 21, 2020, 04:40:24 PM
It's a problem for new comers in crypto investment. Around mid 2017, a report on mass people showed that "Bitcoin is a thing where we can invest and earn money." I'm talking about my country situation. I'm sure most of the people from other country had the same attitude and still the newbies have. We are promoting crypto as investment rather than its ease of usage. If we discuss how convenient crypto is rather than discussing it as store of value, it may possible that the adoption would increase.
626  Economy / Services / Re: Help accelerate this stuck BTC transaction on: July 20, 2020, 11:11:43 PM
The fee you used is too low and I see no way to get confirmation for this tx unless you directly contact a miner and they include your tx in a block. As of now, your fee is far below than the average required fee. At the moment, you have no choice but to wait or increase the fee which isn't a good idea since your amount is too low.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Technical analysis won't help you find the next 100x on: July 20, 2020, 11:04:12 PM
TA only works on short term indication and most of the times, TA doesn't work for most altcoins. It works for only altcoins which are here for some years. To find out next 100x, there's no indicator but to have the bull run  Cheesy Also, I don't see any reason to a shitcoin reaching 100x anymore like 2017. 2017 was the old noob year.
628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with a Transaction on: July 20, 2020, 10:45:57 PM
Since it's a service, I think there's no problem unless the tx get dropped which is unlikely because I think the fee will be normal within 2/3 days. Even if the tx get dropped, you still can recover the fund since you must have some sort of receipt, don't you?
If the amount was higher, I would suggest you to do another tx with the unconfirmed BTC with higher fee which usually we call Child Pays For Parent or CPFP method. But your amount is too low and paying such high is meaningless to be honest. Wait for couple of days and I'm sure tx will be confirmed.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Change address. Why some exchanges provide change address, some don't. Reasons? on: July 20, 2020, 10:05:20 PM
Where did you read that? Change addresses do not automatically provide additional privacy per se,
OP didn't refer to change address of a wallet where we receive the CHANGE. It seems he is talking about address getting changed each time they use the exchange which most exchanges doesn't allow. In fact. I can't remember an exchange which offer new address each time. Unless exchange wallet gets updated, they never change the deposit address too.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: thoughts on David Chaum's new cryptocurrency, Praxxis? on: July 20, 2020, 03:17:27 PM
His previous project elixxir is yet to be come to the market and it's still being developed. How come he starts another project? It seems he is using his name and fame only. At the end, the project will be just another shitcoin that's for sure.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] Popular Privacy Coin with Real Use Case 🧅 DeepOnion LIMITED SUPPLY on: July 19, 2020, 04:49:51 PM
Could someone please share reward halving interval (+offset) / halving schedule?
At which block numbers does it happen exactly.
DeepOnion get halved every 131400 PoW block, it's kind of confusing to me since DeepOnion is both PoS and PoW crypto. In general terms, halving happen every one year but due to having no block adjustment unlike bitcoin, it happens late. This year it is expected to be on August.

632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why isn't crypto poker popular? on: July 19, 2020, 03:53:15 PM
In general Poker has been on the decline since years imo, with some spike again during this pandemic, because people spent/spend more time at home and were bored Smiley
This one is a valid point in my opinion too. I have played online poker at different times but never been an active player but during this pandemic, I have played the most.
The reason of not so many players are at poker is it needs you to have knowledge on poker games while with other casino, I have seen people don't understand even the odd/chance but keep rolling.
633  Economy / Reputation / Re: Warning! Webcelerator ; fantom1962 ; Webcelerator. ; fantom1962. ; elmanchez on: July 19, 2020, 03:26:44 PM
This user seems to be accused for scam attempts and seems like you are also another target of them. Lucky that you got rid of them. Check the referenced thread of elmanchez tag and you will get idea about his scam method.
634  Economy / Reputation / Re: Warning! account Webcelerator. may have changed hands on: July 19, 2020, 02:31:42 PM
@Webcelerator, it's not on the escrow list in this Bitcointalk forum
Webcelerator didn't offer escrow service. OP said to use Dreamblob escrow service but Webceletor didn't agree with that. Later Webcelerator said they will use another escrow but Webceleror never came back. I think you didn't get the point, YOSHIE.
It's true that users shouldn't trust anyone so easily. There are a lot of scammers around.
635  Economy / Reputation / Re: Warning! account Webcelerator. may have changed hands on: July 19, 2020, 02:10:29 PM
If he is banned then he is able to log in and check my private message?
Because banned accounts are read only or watch only mode. They can read but can't post and in same way, they can read message but can't send anyone. He seems to be using that point in order to scam since he has nothing left to lose.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 18, 2020, 09:44:54 PM
When the t20 world cup was supposed to be held? I have forgotten totally. Is the world cup get postponed for IPL, I think that is a stupid move from them. Soccer matches already have started, why not cricket globally? I think now it's possible to run by following some strict rules.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat vs Crypto in money laundering on: July 18, 2020, 09:36:28 PM
It is common sense that fiat will be most used for money laundering because if we compare, we will see how much people using fiat in real life. Use of crypto is too low. So, the overall situation will always be saying that, fiat is being using mostly with money laundering unless bitcoin becomes the main currency of the world.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It's always about your choice on: July 18, 2020, 09:31:19 PM
Very few bounty managers think of their participants. Yahoo62278, Hhampuz. julerz12 used to make agreement to make sure that hunters will get the payment. All the campaign manager should follow the above mamagers and not allow scam project or shit project to evaluate.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Three phases bounty distribution on: July 18, 2020, 09:23:26 PM
Can you show me a project which price has been increased while the bounty was distributed within three weeks? I don't know if any of such project exist. I don't think it's a good solution to avoid price dump.
640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to calculate the price of my new coin? on: July 18, 2020, 09:14:51 PM

1. The price of a coin is determined by the market itself. If you are helding an ICO, you may check everything about the project and fix a pricr.
2. It depends on you I think. How much coin do you think should be available? If you think 100k is a good amount, that's okay. It's up the economy of where you are using the economy.
3. Yes you can but if no one knows it and trade it, this will be worthless to list the coin. Try to let people know about project.
