I read few topics about willing your Bitcoin for your children and others related to properties with Bitcoin but what comes to my mind is a part where someone said that if all properties can be willed or passed down to your children using a lawyer then it's possible with Bitcoin, this quickly make me remember a rich man in my country who got assasinated by his very own lawyer to rob him off his properties, my question is can we really trust something like this with lawyers?

In everything you're doing, just always think smart and fast, youre using a lawyer whom you don't know anything about his reputation, family or background history of integrity, even with that being settled, it's not something good to allow the lawyer have access to your bitcoin or the private keys, you can rather renders him clueless about your plans towards an inheritance but only insure some informations with him which could lead your family have access to your bitcoin, there's nothing bad as well if your family knows about your bitcoin holding since you're still alive and trusted them.
622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto resale trading strategy, P2P Does anyone trade like this? on: November 28, 2023, 03:12:51 PM
Let's everyone make decisions on what's best for them, but when they ask us to give our own suggestions, then we come in by letting them know about what is expected and what to always avoid when making a trade, arbitrage is not a trade anyone can go in for, maybe those that have that kind of a gambler's stone hearted may choose to make this kind of trading at their own discretion but not meant for everyone no matter how the outcome might be with others who have invested and traded using this same pattern, it's not safe.
623  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2024 will be a good year for BTC hodlers. on: November 28, 2023, 02:21:31 PM
Hope you have prepared well for the bull run that is about to show up in the market next year? Or you don't believe that there will not be bull run 2024?, If what I observed in the market few weeks ago is real, I think bull run that will make people to make big money will surely show up next year 2024.

There's nothing much is preparation towards the bullrun than we should all be attentive to observing that whenever we are close to halving and same after that, it's a period that we need to be very proactive in speculating towards the market trends, also we need to be very careful on the kind of investment we made, some coins are going to be nothing by then than shitcoins and this won't be funny if we all fall amidst the category of those that will be investing on them, bitcoin should be our major Investment and target coin for this coming bullrun.
624  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Mempool is congested, use ViaBTC free accelerator. on: November 28, 2023, 08:35:12 AM
Another question I will like to ask is that blue wallet and electron wallet which one is more faster in transaction? Which among them is also cheaper in transaction fee? Which among them is the best to use?

I use both and I like both.

No wallet is fast because not wallet that determines show fast a transaction can be confirmed, miners include unconfirmed transactions into a block and be confirmed and that determines how fast the transaction is and also the mempool if congested or not. Miners include the transactions with higher fee into a block first.

Wallets types are not the ones that determines how fast a transaction should go, the fee rate and how the mempool is less congested determine that, if you choose a lower priority, it will take longer than the other transactions that uses medium or higher priority for their transaction fee rate, but you can always boost up your transactions using a mining pool to accelerate it, provided you're using a non custodial wallet like electrum or blue wallet, electrum wallet is multisig wallet while blue wallet is not, you can also spend uncomfirmed transaction output from these two wallets than when you're using a custodial wallet.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: November 27, 2023, 05:26:28 PM
Yes of course, most especially if you already have an experience with it. Chances are, that it'll cross in your mind. This is why we are often advised to socialize when we want to skip a bad habit.

For someone who says they don't gamble because it's fun, I find that weird. But did you mean to write that? Or maybe there is only a typo with it? If you mean it, then maybe it is true that they are addicted and they are only avoiding it. If I'm making $600 a day, well thank you. That was a lot of money already for me. I am playing gambling up until now, but in moderation only. Although that may change, now that my earnings have also increased.
Some persons will still come here to tell us that they are gambling for fun which it is good for us to define what we really mean by gambling for fun. We are gambling for us and sometimes we all go I'm desperately to make profits and when we don't, we blame our god fathers for that inflictions against us. It is either we are gambling for the money our we are in the industry to do bonanza. Everyone wants to make money including the richest man in the world. Whether we have sufficient money or not, we'll gambling for the money not fun. Everyone wants this money so it's good when we state it clearly.

That's true, everyone could have their own personal reasons why they are gambling, some are doing this for fun, maybe just to whine away time, bordomness or loneliness as the case maybe, while we still have some people gambling for the sake of earning money from it for their survival, we have to also know the category of which we belong here, why we have chosen such and how we are best satisfied in making a conclusion on that category kind of gambler.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy with unusual/strange gambling sites on: November 27, 2023, 04:52:11 PM
We are not to be do carried by the entertainment involved in gambling when we come across any unfamiliar gambling platform, we need to take some time in making research about them and know what they are upto before using them as our preferred gambling platform, I've seen so many gamblers always making accusation on gambling platforms for their non compliance to the customer service request they have demanded when some of the benefits they should enjoyed were taken and their contact support system is not responding to all our request, we may be disappointed in this kind of experience because there's no doubt about some platforms being of low quality standard and reputation.
627  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Profile trick on: November 27, 2023, 04:02:31 PM
Have you tried using other numbers aside 2 and 3 the last digits of numbers are each user's uid and am not sure if it was given as according to how every user's account was created or was just a random numbers, to me this may not be a trick because if you edited it, it will surely gives you someone's profile as long as the inserted number(s) are within the set range of all forum user's unique identification numbers.

629  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Wilfred Bonse arrested in connection to Patricia hack. on: November 27, 2023, 02:30:09 PM
Wilfred Bonse, Governorship aspirant in the 2023 gubernatorial elections, Cross River State has been linked to Patricia hack. The hacker used him to launder the stolen funds.

Having registered his involvement in the complex crime. Wilfred Bonse, conspired in laundering the sum of Fifty Million Naira (N50,000,000:00k) originating from the fraudulent diversion of Six Hundred and Seven Million Naira (N607,000,000:00k) from Patricia Technology company's account to his bank account through a cryptocurrency wallet.

To understand better:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/nigeria-patricia-technologies-relieved-as-arrest-made-in-crypto-wallet-heist

For more visibility, I am abandoning this thread: Patricia breached, bitcoin and naira stolen. Let us continue to discuss about Patricia hack on this new thread for more people to see it and also for us to avoid duplication.

What will they do to him after knowing that he's also a prominent citizens among themselves, this thing that happened with Patricia exchange is not what should be taken on a levity level, but the government cannot hold them alot to that because it's not against the law to operate a crypto exchange or use cryptocurrency in Nigeria, only the crime for the fraud with the exchange is what beeds a legal action for, there are many other politicians uncovered yet being into crypto, at last they will use the political powers to die down the entire case.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question for those who loose too frequently in gambling on: November 25, 2023, 10:46:42 AM
There are loads of reasons why many continue gambling even after incurring losses, these reasons spans across the worlds of advantages and disadvantages, or simply put, positive and negative reasons. Amongst the reasons are motivation and passion, the need to chase one's life dreams through the available resources prospectively to be availed by these gambling platforms.

It's very simple to handle, if you're loosing too frequent and you don't like about it, then try to know what are the possible causes to this, sometimes we may be lacking in some aspects of it and without us knowing, we need to evaluate the way we gamble, the techniques used and the kind of games we bet on to makes some changes from our own side if really we need to experience something different as well.

If someone is determined to achieve a thing, the techniques to be deployed is without limits until the goal is achieved, these class of people don't care about how many times they fail, they only have one word they understand 'success' and until they get there, you might be the only one seeing them as those who loose frequently

Not until we see the needs for that, we may only keep rotating on one side without having something new, we shouldn't gamble because we want to make more money, but we are being passionate about knowing the causes to why we often loose than winning.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: November 25, 2023, 09:55:23 AM
Gambling is not a game of the rich vs the poor and to see who performs best, things are not like this, we are gambling because it is generally acceptable and allowed by each individual to play bet as we want, they don't even make segregation through the poor and the richer gamblers, we are the to gamble the way we feels safe for us, I've on several occasions seen poor people winning the jackpot while gambling and i rarely see the occasion of a rich man winning that big, so it's all about opportunities, skills and luck which everyone is entitled to.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot games are a waste of time and money (most of the time) on: November 25, 2023, 09:30:43 AM
If we are saying that slot is a waste of time and money then maybe gambling as well could be termed that same way in general, but this is a wrong approach because at first place we are not gambling because we wanted to make money, we are doing so to have a means of being entertained through our leisure time, slot should be played by those that understand it and have interest in playing it, we gamble by choice and not by force, so we can decide on which game to play bet on each time we are gambling.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: November 25, 2023, 09:07:46 AM
There are some old people in my family which are paying cricket fantasy games. They usually talk about the games and their performance is matches almost daily. It is obvious that if any younger guy in family will listen about this, he will also be eager to know more about this. How can I stop the younger generation in my family being carried away by this and focus on other important things like studies only ?

Our ancestral gambling attitudes does not get transferred to us in this our generation because gambling is a physical entertaining event that is not genetically related or transmittable from one generation to another, so when our own parents are gambling, we cayb choose to be a gambler or not, this is our own decisions, also if they gambles but we were raised in an environment that does not permit for gambling, we may not have like on gambling, because the environmental influence also contributed alot about gambling because we often see it around us.
634  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Research knowledge alone isn't enough to start a business on: November 25, 2023, 08:40:05 AM

635  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Have anyone heard about a platform called Adswage? on: November 24, 2023, 03:54:29 PM
I was trying to promote affiliate marketing but I received a notification in Facebook that instead there is a platform called Adswage. It is a website where you will get paid by viewing ads, all you need is to register with them and deposit $100 to activate the account and earn money by viewing ads. There is also a telegram group but I did not join it nor did I register with this platform.

Maybe i should first congratulate you for not falling into their trap by making registration, you would have lost your $100 into vanity, a reputable organization that deals with ads will not demand any payment from you, they will rather pay you a little or small amount of money on every ads you click and you keep accumulating such, this is nothing than taking surveys in which most of them are not real or rewarding.

I checked Whois that it was registered in October 17 2022 and expired on October 17, 2032 does that show the platform is legit? I suspect it is scam because the site does not have term of use or privacy policy and no contact number only email address and social media links. Upon checking the address it is in Dublin Ireland but when viewing the address via Google street view it is an address for bicycle shop.

You treat any informations gathered from the internet on this website as real, people would have given all necessary warnings about it if you had google search it, check out it's online reviews.
636  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There's always a price to pay. on: November 24, 2023, 03:09:32 PM
Apart from the fact that we are all bitcoinner, I believe one common thing I find among us is the fact that we are all individual that are very passionate and committed at becoming successful at what we do and I hope this meets someone well out there.

If you're a good person, then you will always be attracted to other good people around, if you're determined for success in life, it's a matter of time, such would not be far away from you, every tree bears the same fruits of its kind, what you set as target in life could be achieved and turn a success if we never give up in it, we also need to render some level of sacrifice, which is our own personal efforts in showing how determined we are to achieve success in life.
637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Finally I listened, proudly a hardware wallet owner on: November 24, 2023, 02:07:42 PM
Heelo everyone, I have decide to take my crypto experience to the next level by taking advice of getting a hardware wallet more serious when I can afford one, since I've start making over $1000 and holding assets that's worth more I decide to take this road for my own good.

This is a bold step you have taken without being lazy on affording the little amount of getting one could cost, hardware wallet is one of the best ways to make use of a cold storage for our own benefits, just make sure you give it a proper handling and also avoid any form of damage on using it, no third party should have access to it and always keep it safe, now you may less use the exchange wallet.

I have few questions still, I want to know if connecting software wallet to your hardware wallet gives it the security as intended? If I start using software wallet on my hardware wallet does it add more to it's security? Or it's a bad idea?

Why not, you can make use of electrum wallet in doing this, it allows for more security and privacy defence practice tight when both were liked or connectd together.
638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some people say they will never sell BTC. Is there any reason for that? on: November 24, 2023, 01:17:44 PM
So, time to time, I see some people saying they will never sell BTC. And I am thinking why is that?

You need to realized that bitcoin is a form of money in digital technology, just as you may wish to hold down your fiat curre for long without spending it for some specific reasons personal to you, you can also decided to hold bitcoin without selling or spending and what you gain after this is profitability, unlike fiat they its currency loose value over time, you can decide to leave your bitcoin as an inheritance for your children and later they amass wealth in it when they sell it out, so it's at someone's discretion to choose what to do with his digital currency.
639  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Moneypot.com - Crash with the Lowest House Edge! | Signature Campaign on: November 24, 2023, 10:34:43 AM
Let's understand how we calculated the fees, until the mempool become normal we will continue calculating the fees this way.
The formula is to take fees from every members based on the percentage they have allocated from the btc we spent in that specific week.
This means everyone is participating in the transaction fees. I hope this is the best solution. We don't need to wait for two weeks or four weeks payment interval.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thank you campaign manager and the moneypot team,

This is my own side of view, let's make the payment to be bi weekly which is every two weeks payments, or monthly, which will be comprising of four weeks payments, now you can make a poll for everyone to vote their choice and you pay them accordingly, base on how the bi weekly or monthly fee rate charges for each participants, i will be fine and ok with any of these payments schedules if concluded.

Thank you

I didn't get bonus payment this week despite posting maximum number please tell me about this.

Are you freaking kidding, giving bonus is a decision to be made by the campaign manager and not you, it's may not be by post count alone this is being judged, check the previous payments on the spreadsheets and discover some weeks bonus was not issued, despite all that is happening, these are none concerned to you than bonus eligiblity.
