621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the year of other altcoins? on: January 19, 2018, 04:37:06 AM
Like the title, is this the year of other altcoins and ICOs rather than the Bitcoin?
Due to the last problems in the Bitcoin blockchain like increasing fees and time transaction, the increasing interest on this world will bring more valuable scenario in others cryptos?

Yes your title and explanation is very much true and brings us to the world where we gonna use lot of altcoins to invest this year. This will automatically increase the market cap for the alt community and thus we will see rise in the prices of the bitcoin. Im sure that there are few of the alt coins which are going to be even closer in the prices to that of bitcoin. For example, ETH (#1 to reach near the bitcoin), XRP (#2 to reach to current ETH prices) and there is IOTA which could be near to LTC. I am not sure about LTC because its really getting up and down too quickly but there are chances that it will spike too. So yeah in generalised idea this one looks to be year of alts.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or bitcoin cash on: January 18, 2018, 11:11:33 AM
If you can guess, eth or bitcoin cash which will first hit btc?

I think that’s ethereum which will hit BTC first but also not sure about that. I mean get closer to it but there are chances that bitcoin will keep trying to push itself further. There is no chance of bitcoin cash in the long run because it’s clearly a mess and everyone knows what happened with the bitconnect. The forked coin same as BCH. So no one will garuntee you about the future of the BCH but we can surely say that ETH and BTC could be closer this year.
623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to start buying bitcoin or should i wait? on: January 18, 2018, 09:53:44 AM
Hi, a friend told me that this is the best time to start buying btc because it's price is dropping, but do you think i should wait and see if it keeps going down? I only have a small amount of money to invest. Thanks for your help, I'm new to this world

I think this is the right time because from here onwards the upward surge has already started. Since yesterday the rates have increased by 1-2K USD and who knows within night it could cross the price of 12-13K. That would be like huge % incriminate within short period of time which we don’t want loose. ;-)

So better go for buying the bitcoin and also consider buying some altcoins which you think can do great this year. Keep ETH as the first priority when you will think about the altcoins side. BTC as always is great choice considering our future in 2018 end.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins You Bought On This Dip on: January 18, 2018, 05:51:19 AM
I personally missed this opportunity because of bitcoin network. its been almost three days now my transaction isn't getting confirmed yet! i had sent transaction on 16 jan (7 am) but it's still not confirming!

Don’t worry your transaction will get recovered soon. I had to wait for two and half weeks for my transaction to get confirmed as I laid low fees to it. I tried to rebroadcast the transaction by using my private keys and different wallets but it did not work so don’t even try that one.

Anywa, I’m very happy about the last dip as I bought some XVG and TRX from that dip. Also was able to get some ETH at the rate of 900 USD and here we are in the green field. Feeling great now that I decided to buy them. ;-)
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just became a millionaire on: January 18, 2018, 05:21:09 AM
;Di just bought few snovio last year, i forgot about the wallet and was operating my second wallet , i just checked my wallet last week and boom my investment just blew up like 50x..... i began buying more and since then the price has been on the increase

well you can buy a little and holdu

Wow that’s amazing, congrats to your holdings. And here you are actually giving out the motivation to new comers and everyone in the forum that holding actually works and in long term it could be more than just millions and billions sometimes. I mean there are so many potential coins in the market which can bloom at anytime and we have seen this with the coins which had no hopes at all.

For the instance you can take example of TRX too. Nobody had trust on it but it got pumped and those who were on the train got the station. Well, hope that we see many investment opportunities like this. ;-)
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Cause behind the Fall on: January 17, 2018, 06:07:04 PM
I am not concerned about the current fall of all crypto currencies including bitcoin because I believe they will definitely bounce back.
But I am interested in finding what is the cause behind this? What caused people to panic and what caused all the cryptos to dip so low at once?

This is not unusual drop in the crypto but the past is repeating itself along with few consequences like Korean exchangers ban and China ban. There is also part of communit which thinks that the crypto is going down this year and could drop to almost dark ages rates. But anyway we should be always positive about this market. It has got potential to rise again and show the dominance over each other. On top of this it is also mentioned everywhere that this year is going to be altcoin year. So we might see our little babies growing to teen age now. ;-) let’s not panic and forget about dips and crest.
627  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: freebitco.in "Browser Mining" - is it worth it? on: January 17, 2018, 05:24:00 PM
Google is not good at these sites. I use the addition to the No Coin browser and do not worry about it.
What do you mean by saying "Google isn't good at these sites"? And you shouldn't be worried about mining on Freebitco.in - they don't mine coins without your permission. Only you can select when to start mining, stop it or don't use it at all. You don't need to use any mining blocker addons while using Freebitco.in.
But many other faucets secretly mining coins in background without any warning and user permission.

Yup this is really true. Freebitco is having good reputation amongst the community and it has always been good deal. I have tried the mining with browser and I know that it’s nkt worth doing it after seeing the power of computer is lot lesser than expected. Plus the hitting issue is always there.

I’m 100% sure that there are many more faucets which anonymously do synchronise your hash power. This can be clearly felt when you working on that faucet and it heat up the computer a lot. Try it and you will see it.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fall to $8,500 is to buy Gold on: January 17, 2018, 04:56:37 PM
Just got some information/news that people are selling $100,000 in Bitcoins to buy gold. The money they are getting by selling Bitcoins is used to buy Gold

Gold is the safest investment. See the link

I don’t agree your statement at all. After all these years I’m so sure about the crypto currency that I am not willing listen to people who are saying bad things about the crypto. Just because it is falling then it doesn’t mean that you have to start panicking about it and speculate anything weird about it. I’m totally into crypto now and would love to support it in all the possible ways. This year crypto currencies are going to bloom like anything because people are already gotten rich since last years investment and now they all have plenty money to reinvest in this year. Let’s wait and watch people buy gold or bitcoin. ;-)
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will the FBI sell their 144000 Bitcoins? on: January 17, 2018, 02:35:34 PM
Or are they Hodling?

Okay this is crazy. Why would we wait for something like that, I mean what is the use if they dump their coins in the market. It will only cause the market to dump very hard and we will see even more downward moment for it. We don’t want that to happen isn’t it.? Or do we really need that dump. I mean on the other hand we can have the cheap coins to buy and then we can dump them once they get higher. But I’m sure that I won’t buy such coins which are already have blood hands on it. Lolz.
630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to Buy bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 01:47:24 PM
Hi! ☺️ I just want to ask when to buy or sell bitcoin? I don't want to lose money.. I mean we can't avoid to lose if we're just beginner but atleast we can find ways to prevent it right?

I always keep emotions away when it comes to trades and that’s the best way to work with it. Yes it’s completely true that we can’t avoid losses in the trades and they could be uncertain at all times. Also we could loose at any point whether we are beginner in it or experienced. Even I’m trading since very long but never got the good hold, you apply best of the best tricks or do whatever to win the situation but in the last moments uncertainty can play bad role. !! For you only advice that I can give is to keep trying even if you loose just make sure you keep switching the coins and they are best in the market.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think this crash is good on: January 17, 2018, 11:52:16 AM
This crash is perfect for bitcoin and other crypto currencies to stretch a little bit. They have been lurking at very high rates and market since very long time. Many of the people were in ambiguous situation that whether they should hold, buy or sell at that high rate. Now the things are right and condition is favourable for those who can buy because the rates are dropped dramatically.

I can see that this drop has driven negative impact on forum members but I believe that there is no need to have such panic attack!! It’s really good for investors and we know very well the year end brings goodies for us. ;-)
632  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $10,000 the bottom to buy BTC? on: January 17, 2018, 11:01:30 AM
I don’t think it will go way down than this, we should give some more time for the bitcoin to go up. This is just the repeatable process from the last year and many says that it’s always there at the start of new year. Plus there is no such thing where you should go for selling your bitcoin if the bitcoin price has dropped because we always experienced such dip and then up side of the bitcoin. Better stick to it for further updates and then make any big moves. Most of the community will be buying at this point because they are here sine long time and knows very well this is usual way of bitcoin.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why all coins are dropping? on: January 17, 2018, 09:54:41 AM
any body know the reason for current drop?

This is natural process of going down in these days. What I mean by this is straight and simple, they are dropping due to various market corrections as well as few of the bans that incurred last week. This includes Korean exchangers going down. This is fact that Korea had largest volume of bitcoin and due to sudden crash of the exchanger everything was settled to down as lots of panic sells happened and the effect of which can be clearly seen on the market.

Adding to this I have also noticed that bitcoin went down last year at the same months and again came back sooner than we could have thought about it. So yeah it’s completely natural and we don’t have to worry much about it.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoins to invest this year on: January 17, 2018, 09:25:16 AM
What do you think will be more profitable altcoins this year in investing.

Ethereum
Ripple
Neo
And Iota

Seriously not the ripple, iota again. They done with whatever they could do already. The ripple was quick profiter and marely a artificial or hyper active pump which got the attention of community and then got even more spiked. There was nothing real about it. The same thing followed for the IOTA but I do believe that it’s not as shitty as ripple is, considering the centralisation difference of both.

ETHEREUM now this coin is something and many people/speculators says that this year is ethereum year and no can take that state from it. So you may expect many thing from this coin and see the bright future ahead. One up for this one.
635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Road to 0.1 btc on: January 16, 2018, 05:35:19 PM
this is my new project this 2018
i got 0.004 btc and i just injected it to a trading site
so here's my strategy please help me decide Smiley
1. invest it in 1 altcoin (short term/long term)
2. putting  your eggs in different baskets
which means i will divide my 0.004 and buy at least 3 alt coin (short term/long term)

what do you think?
The amount you have injected is not much for dividing into top 10 coins. They are very costly. You might wanna considering putting the money into coins like XVG, TRX, Stellar etc. They are very cheap at the moment and you can buy around 200 quantities of each of them. The quantity is important because when the prices will rise in the future they will be huge and you multiplication factor will actually depend on it. So better invest into such low valued coins only and then you grab the opportunity to earn huge profits for the long term holding. As far as I know those coins aren't moving for very long. So yeah your strategies will work if your chosen coin is perfect one.
636  Economy / Economics / Re: why should bitcoin! on: January 16, 2018, 12:16:21 PM
now many altcoin, sprung up between it all there must be in the place of investing other than bitcoin, all also have the same opportunity as bitcoin all promising profit

but why do more choose bitcoin as the place they invest?

Bitcoin is really trusted currency and everyone knows that the whole market runs on it. The market cap is so much now that it will never go anywhere until next decade is finish but again by that time we will have more investors into it due its popularity and long term benefits.

For the alts, they are based on different projects which are being made as smart contracts over the specific blockchain (ETH, WAVE etc). In the long run we are not sure that they will be still present over the chain. They have got higher chances of spamming the ICO's and later part of the project development. So people choose to invest into the Bitcoin only. Me too for long term purposes.
637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how do you determine what to buy and which tools you use? on: January 16, 2018, 09:22:28 AM
How do you find long term coin? Do you reach for community?  Because I've been involved in some discord groups where they hang out and said these guys seem positive with nice devs, bought the coin and it moves here and there but nothing spectacular.

For news do you go with these pump and dump groups? I see they are popular way of earning, but I am skeptical but I hear people are earning more than 0.1 btc a day and some say they even earn like 0.5,  think all depends on how much I invest in but would you go with these groups?

I never trust pump dump groups. They work I know but they could be dangerous at times. I have some facts about them. The pump groups work not he trust factor of the group members. Sometimes there are many shit people who just join the groups to have fun. These groups define the exact coin, time of pumping and dumping it. This needs a lot of co-ordination but many times it could happen that they might just drop in panic and we may loose the investment that we made.

Quote
earning more than 0.1 btc a day and some say they even earn like 0.5,
Yes thats possible but make sure you join the group with high trust and make sure they already have good community members. Otherwise you might loose that much money!

Quote
think all depends on how much I invest
Yes.
638  Economy / Economics / Re: China is going cashless with more centralization on: January 16, 2018, 08:37:21 AM
I watched a video today: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WWY7A221hwA

China is leapfrogging credit cards to jump directly into the adoption of mobile payments. An oligopoly is in place and as the adoption of the tech rises fast, it's not set to change. Now the Communist government is seeking to control such payments even more and the biggest payment companies are likely to cooperate. Perhaps one day people there would appreciate decentralization but for now the majority of the Chinese seem really careless about p2p tech and payments.

That will work promptly for the future and at anytime because centralised systems are always perfect. As they form the part of regulations there is trust and surety of everything. The funds are faster because in the long term their systems would have evolved to higher dimension. As in case of bitcoin we are developing but the field is still new and there is no way one can stop it. Its just matter of time when centralised procedures will also take the leap and who knows at that time China will jump in again and will start growing the P2P platform for their sake.

In case of government controlling the money, they will also have chance to do so with decentralised platform by implementing partial regulations. Well, if government took that seriously then we can think about that.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO or XRB or AION? on: January 16, 2018, 06:51:11 AM
Hello. I just want to ask our opinions guys about these 3 coins. NEO, XRB and AION.
I am planning putting some funds to one of these 3 coins.
Which are much better for long term?
Feel free to comment your advise or opinion.

I think NEO stands bigger chance here for the investment. This coins is existing since long time and there is good chance that people being developing it in proper way. Many people will say that it is china based and have no future but I disagree that completely. It has got nothing to do that because its legal tendered and going well project. So one up for that one.

After this, I will choose the XRB and AION both. Nothing can be said about both of them but they have good 24 hours volume and it is one and the same thing for both of them. Im sure that they will do great in long term but without any further development nothing can be said. My first goal would be NEO in any case and then will divide very small portion in the rest two equally.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite current or upcoming ICOs on: January 16, 2018, 05:44:48 AM
I think there are few of the projects like SCL, IPL, JNT.

From three of these SCL which is social nexus project and JNT which is Jibrel Network were launched last year and now standing at the position where their product launches are going on. Social is even better than JNT to be honest because the founder has taken the roadmap to all new heights. They are woking beyond the timeline which makes me think that they themselves are desperate about the setting up of project. They already have working platform for socialising, however they are going to launch the new v2.0 in the march month and lifting this project prices to ATH.

If you missed them then you should be looking after the IPL, the all new InsurePal ICO. This ICO done with their pre-sale which had great impressions on the investors because all the 140,00,000 coins were sold out. While on the other hand they are launching the one day crowd sale tomorrow, only opportunity for you to get into this project. It needs KYC verification too and that just gives us more security. :-) So get into it, I have gut feeling that it will be best project until now.
