621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Devcoin Exchange on: December 13, 2017, 07:12:41 PM
We need an exchange for devcoin, and the more exchanges the better. I suggest a 60 share bounty for the first person(s) to get devcoin on another exchange, 40 shares for the next person on another exchange, and 20 shares for the next. Any objections?

Any news on finding a new exchange for Devcoin since the abrupt departure of Coingather?
..

some updates about coingather which was dvc only exchange and where many millions of dvc were held and btc ltc etc
..
so some possibilities but new exchange needed anyway

not the best but they are CHEAP and have high volumes and multiple trading pairs, lots of crypto traders and eyeballs

https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/

I have applied

Yobit doesn't have the best reputation, but might be OK if you're in and out.

I would agree with that. Trade in small amounts and try not to leave anything sitting on the exchange for any length of time.

Wow. I love this news

"We are proud to inform our community
that we sent the source code to the auditor Cognosec Limited.

We are waiting now for more details about the audit procedure."

623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: December 13, 2017, 05:41:55 PM
He there, I found a topic regarding the "where to hold Ardor issue"
https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/where-to-hold-ardor/

So I guess its still pending, isnt it ?
Will there any notification send in a newsletter or in this forum when there is a confirmation?

Cuz pardon my french Im fucked if the exchanges won't change it.

I bought Ardor when it was still pretty cheap on polo and well ... as there is a freaking issue with my webcam I never had the chance
to verify my account, so im stuck with 2000 Dollar withdraw.
I was too lazy to transfer my ardor when it was still cheap, now Im trying to get my ardor out of polo but Ill never make it in time.
Even I am glad Ardor now gets the attention it deserves, it doesnt make it easier with this huge pump the last days.

So am I now stuck with two choices here ?
Selling all my Ardr as long I still can and prob tank the price on Polo, even I rly like the project or
lose it ?

That kinda sucks ...
Can anyone whos involved in the project maybe give a statement, if there is any further talk with the exchanges ?
I really would hate to sell my whole Ardor stock ...

Tank the price on Polo? Are you serious? LOL  First off, if you can't get ARDR out what good will selling it be since you won't be able to get anything else out. And, why is your problem with Polo ARDR's problem? The current 24hr Volume: 325.65770739 BTC / 5842534.72037371 ARDR wont take a hit if you sell. Unless all those are yours, you won't tank anything. So, is it worth all this drama if you miss out on the IGNIS drop? And, the project really doesn't have much to do with how the exchanges treat an "Air Drop", that's up to the exchanges. Sounds like you need to beat on Polo until someone helps you and, get verified.

Good luck

I have problems with the new wallet. It did not sync. It has stopped , but 45 hours are missing, but I have 7 connections
I am running 0.13.48.0
Wallet was not running before the fork.

always back up your wallet.dat file first then maybe bootstrap the blockchain to resync? Wink let us know<<<

Hey, Gembit is now an Owz -

EMC2 is no doubt losing volume to Litecoin -
Don't miss out on LTC dethroning BTC.

What do you guys expect for EMC2 for the short term? My guess is that the next bull run on altcoins is just about to start anytime now, and as soon as this happens, EMC2 will surely be one of the winners that will rally. I expect $3-5! What about you?

I mean, what ultimately led to the 270,000% rise in price YTD 2017 (at its peak last week)? Answer me that question and we might be able to discuss a future price.

Just like anything else of value that people think will become even more valuable, a desire to own it.

Alright, I downloaded the new wallet, still have 2 000 000 TIPS in my old wallet.dat.
I tried to replace the old wallet.dat with the new one and restarted the Wallet. Is that how it'S suppose to work?
 Huh Huh Huh

Yes but, you will have to wait for the new wallet to sync, takes a while. Might be a bootstrap file on the OP of this forum.

EDIT: Looks like they are still working on that link. Just have to wait for it to sync...

Also, the "TIPS Hardfork FAQ" page on the website mentions NovaExchange but not CoinExchange ...

Hello, Are the wallets for TIPS at NovaExchange and CoinExchange are the same version?

Can someone please let me know if they are compatible please? I see two BCT threads for the TIPS coin and am confused. Thanks.

THE SAME, you can move your TIPS from novaEx to coinEx

The ONLY active thread of FedoraCoin is
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420302.0

You can update or download your windows wallet in this post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420302.msg19859770#msg19859770

Hi Thiec,

Are you on the Fedora Discord channel?  There's a lot of us there currently in early stage rework of TIPS.

Cheers!

Can you provide info on that? Do I need an invite?
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FedoraCoin (TiPS) - New Dev team: Fedoracoin Foundation on: December 11, 2017, 09:59:53 PM

Can someone update the OP to remove Novaexchange since they are closing and don't accept deposits, and add Coinexchange.io? They have TIPS in BTC and Doge markets
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - Bridging the Gap Between the Centralized and Decentralized World on: December 11, 2017, 08:34:27 PM

Looks like pool issues again tonight....

Just got in touch, apparently he has seen an increase of issues lately and investigating potential server issues. Not just the pool server, but other servers he has running as well. Right now it appears to mining ok, but the cron that is reporting the information, like findblocks is stuck or catching up.

Just another update, "As long as the miners can connect to stratum then nothing is lost.", which is the back end that handles and records the information. The error message, such as "We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP." or "Findblocks disabled, new blocks will currently not show up in the frontend" are on the front end side, usually indicates there is an issue with the cron and updating information back to the website. He is looking into possible solutions to keep the cron running or potentially an MPOS update that may help with the issue.

Excellent, thanks. I only posted that because CRON problems on the front end can eventually lead to failure of the hash engine and back end due to resources being reallocated. MPOS is a great peice of softare but, it can become a memory hog when the pool gets loaded down. Version 1.0.8 was released last month. It contains an update to cronjobs.php or you can just apply the cron update without all the rest available as a seperate package on Git. Thanks!

BTW: This is without a doubt the best DNotes pool currently running, kudos!

scryptenthusiast:

Glad to see your informative post. I hold a lot of NYC from the early days and have always wanted to see this project take off but had almost written it off, but thought I would take one more look at the forums and BAM, there it is! Glad to see you are serious about this. I agree this coin has staying power and brand recognition that will put it back on the charts if handled well. Looks like you have that covered. I'll send a few sheckles your way when I get off travel.

Thanks for the commitment!

looks like cloak is completly dead i mean 90%

And in this corner, providing the comic relief, Tradercouch/Cuteflower! Dead huh? Just like your head? CLOAK is fine, you need a check up from the neck up!

636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: December 11, 2017, 05:54:56 PM
Hm. I am happy that I have sold my cloacks with little lost. I was new to the cryptocurrency. When I look back I was stupid. Too many motivation vides to buy cloak to be a milionare. One team member left the team before so long waited promised source code release. Another important member did the same after "missed dedline".  I am working in IT. This is toooo long time to release source code to my taste. For how long you are you promising it ?
But thanks for the lesson. I bought IOTA for 80 cents pre Mi. And.... I think I have invested into much more better technology, team, team transparency, team PR. Have a nice day cloack holders the idea (fiction) is nice.

We're happy you sold your CLOAKs also...  Grin

Hey BTX guy: Have you noticed the "future" is down to $17.47 USD from a high of about $46.10 USD in mid November and dropping rather fast. Meanwhile, in the same time period, Bitcoin has gone from $6000 to $16,000 and is still rising. Also in that time period, ARK has gone from $1.98 USD to $3.94 USD. I think I'll pass, thanks...

You haven't been around long enough to know what "boring" is. ARK is doing fine...

I have a question, I'm buying this on Bittrex now, and I have about 700$ dollar worth of bitcoin to trade for Einsteinium, but when I'm going to confirm the trade it says I get 0.999xxx einsteinium, this can't be right? Right?

No, that's not right you should get around 416 EMC2 at current price of $1.68USD. Check your math and make sure your decimals are in the right places.
