Great concept btw.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

We need an exchange for devcoin, and the more exchanges the better. I suggest a 60 share bounty for the first person(s) to get devcoin on another exchange, 40 shares for the next person on another exchange, and 20 shares for the next. Any objections?

Any news on finding a new exchange for Devcoin since the abrupt departure of Coingather?
..

some updates about coingather which was dvc only exchange and where many millions of dvc were held and btc ltc etc
..
so some possibilities but new exchange needed anyway

not the best but they are CHEAP and have high volumes and multiple trading pairs, lots of crypto traders and eyeballs

https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/

I have applied

Yobit doesn't have the best reputation, but might be OK if you're in and out.

I would agree with that. Trade in small amounts and try not to leave anything sitting on the exchange for any length of time.

The proposal got four agreements, there were no objections, and four days have passed, so it is officially in force.

I looked over the list of cryptos charted on cryptocoincharts:
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/info

and went through the list and found that the following traded high numbers of altcoins:
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/abucoins
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/bittrex
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/bleutrade
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/c-cex
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/coinexchange
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/cryptopia
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/etherdelta
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/exmoney
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/exx
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/gateio
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/hitbtc
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/kucoin
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/liqui
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/livecoin
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/poloniex
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/quoine
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/tidex

Also, Guido mentioned:
http://coinsmarkets.com/support.php

Please get devcoin on any exchange you can. The listed exchanges are just places to look, devcoin on any exchange would get the bounty.

It would be amazing to get DVC on BitTrex. I'd settle for Cryptopia, though, as another coin I'm involved with is also traded there.

good news. A good number, this is a low-level technology? Open source projects that can be created by writers, artists and software developers

I can't find DVC on CoinMarketcap anymore. Where are you getting your info? Where is there a market for DVC?

Edit: Never mind. Found it. But I had to type "devcoin" directly into the url bar. It wouldn't respond to the query. Definitely no active markets.

Guys, I have 2 servers, 35 pools, even more wallets. I know how to work with wallets and peers.
And only the Devcoin wallet completely stopped being synchronized.
But here that's all we talk about - which stock exchange to go.

I outlined the problem here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=233997.msg25874905#msg25874905, with the last version of the wallet (v 0.8.5.1)

Here, @develCuy confirms that there are problems with synchronization https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=233997.msg25932500#msg25932500

What happened to this coin? And what happened to its network? Why do wallets in different parts of the world do not sync from scratch?

What can there be talk about exchanges if the coin network functions crookedly.

From previous responses I thought the client issue was resolved. Or wouldn't have pursued looking into exchanges.
Hopefully someone will clarify.
