641  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 8bet.io refusing to process cashout on: October 11, 2023, 08:02:40 PM
I have already sent a message to one of their account called "8bet" two days ago. No reply. Their other account "8betnews" can't receive messages from newbie.
8Bet is supposed to be their personal representative on this forum but his last post was on the 10th of January and he didn't login here for more than 3 months. If he didn't log in he can't read your pm.
8betnews is most likely a bot used to post updates and notifications about promotions and contests. He doesn't even reply to members' comments in their official thread. Don't waste your time trying to message him.

644  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quick outcome of 100 plinko bet in one second on: October 08, 2023, 11:36:15 PM
This happens with many computerised games on stake, not just games you shared.
Calculating the game results and everything that maters happen on stake's servers but the animation part and everything else happens on your computer. It's a trick that many website developers do to save on resources. Any web developer will understand this.
Stake has millions of visitors, it can't handle all of their requests regardless of how big their servers are. Some requests can be handled locally and some sites use this feature to reduce the load on their servers and let your computer handle some extra tasks.
Again, ask a web developer and he will explain it better.
645  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC Stolen from Vanity Address (BitcoinVanityGen.com) on: October 08, 2023, 10:33:13 PM
Yes it was my mistake and i am now regret of it.
But it is even more sad that, when anyone will search on Google about "how to generate Bitcoin vanity address" , the first result they will get is that to go to BitcoinVanityGen.com to generate an address.
You can try yourself and see.
The article is https://www.dummies.com/personal-finance/generate-bitcoin-vanity-address/
Sorry but I havlve to be a little harsh on my reply..
You were looking for a vanity address.. Right! This means you understand how addresses are being generated, right?
If you understand how addresses are being generated, you will never trust a third party to generate it for you. You understand that if a person give you an address, he certainly knows its private key..
Well, you trusted him, now it's time to assume your responsibilities.. If you want to have a vanity address, either generate it by yourself or use LoyceV's services.

We have the same guess or fact, OP is promoting a Ponzi scheme and pretending that he is asking, he even denied and deleted the link we have seen this method so many times asking but actually promoting a Ponzi or MLM, they know that by just posting with all the plans they will received bad feedback so they make it a subtle approach but its not going to work here  Cheesy
OP edited his post and removed the links. I think it's unfair to accuse him of trying to promote those services.
If his intention was to promote those services or ti post some backlinks then he would have disappeared after creating this topic.
Let's stop accusing newbies of being culprits just because they are newbies and let's focus on the main subject!
647  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My more than 2 bitcoins got stolen just 2 days ago. on: October 08, 2023, 08:22:24 PM
They said that the case success will depend on the police investigation. Which means, most likely, that crypto is not there anymore. And I can't imagine how local Dubai Police will be able to get someone from Ukraine/Russia/Nigeria, even if KYC documents are real.
You did the right thing by contacting kucoin's support and informing them about this incident. Now that the culprit's account has been frozen, all you have to do is to file a police report.
Dubai and the UAE is one of the most crypto friendly governments in the world. I'm sure it won't be hard to find a qualified lawyer who can help you with your case.
648  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My more than 2 bitcoins got stolen just 2 days ago. on: October 08, 2023, 03:22:21 PM
Are you sure you are looking at the right wallet? Do you see the hashes of old transactions you received from the crypto exchange on the history tab?
If yes then most likely your laptop has been compromised and the attacker got access to your wallet's seed (he doesn't need the password to steal your coins as o-e-l-e-o mentioned above). It's unlikely that you are using a fake Electrum version since you've been using it for more than a year and your coins were stolen just recently.
649  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptoplay.io - Casino and Sportsbook | Race and Rise to Riches - $2M | VIP ⚽️🎰 on: October 07, 2023, 11:56:29 PM
such contest is indeed not exclusive for one casino only. any casino can run such contest and it will also provide some cash incentives to more people here who have their art skills. they can use their talent and earn something from this activity.
I hope they will come up with better and different ideas for the contest. Art contests aren't for everyone and if you check the previous contests (hosted by competitors) you will see that the winners are always the same since it's based on skills. If you want to attract more players then you need a contest where all participants have equal chances of winning and that doesn't require any particular skill or talent. Anyway, as long as it will be exclusive to this forum members I'll support it'
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: October 07, 2023, 11:33:12 PM
Usually in a family dominance by husband as gambler and never see any wife spent their time with participating in gambling exactly many broken home happening due bad activities or gambling habit from husband and loss all their important thing from money, house, car and all property assets values.

Don't imagine with wife have gambling habit but lets make its on another position if husband have bad habit with gambling what happen with one family will in good relation or not.
First of all, in a normal and healthy relationship no party should be dominating. Both parties should support each other and each of them has its rights and duties. Secondly, gambling is not always a bad thing, it's supposed to be an entertainment activity. If it starts causing harms then it's the gambler's fault for not being able to control himself. This applies to both men and women.
I'm also curious why some members think that women are less risk takers than men! Are there any reliable studies which support such claims?
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: October 07, 2023, 10:59:34 PM
Therefore, currently small gamblers like me don't think too much about VIP ranking even though I also want to reach VIP immediately but I don't want to break through my savings just to chase VIP ranking and on the one hand I believe that even though I am only a small gambler I am quite sure that the ranking will slowly I will soon move up to the next VIP rank even though it will take a very long time, but the point is that every gambler who just wants to have fun will not think too much about the VIP rank and prefer to come, register and place bets to have fun.
Pursuing a VIP rank is natural but if you force yourself to spend a lot of money and take big risks, that is a very bad act of control.
You are right. You should never spend on gambling more than you can afford to lose just to reach higher VIP ranks. The reward is not worth it. You will most likely lose more than you will earn.
Better keep playing as usual and enjoy the games without rushing to rank up. Thinking of your level all the time and when and how much you need to wager to reach the next one can be stressful and will deprive you from the fun you are supposed to have while playing.
652  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is this a scam!! Help on: October 07, 2023, 10:19:46 PM
I signed up and invested $500. They said that first time they will waive my fee but will have to pay 20% withdrawal fee out of pocket to get my..
This is a bit weird because I just checked their website and it says the minimum deposit amount for the cheapest plan (Starter) is $600!
Anyway, the above members are correct. Both websites are scams and I hope you will be as lucky as your friend and will be able to withdraw your money. If you do, never think of reinvesting a single penny there. You never know when they willshut down their websites and run away with all investors' money.
653  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 8bet.io refusing to process cashout on: October 07, 2023, 09:10:52 PM
I emailed but no response. I contacted them on telegram but even after reading my message they don't respond. After doing some googling it seems the admin seem to reply on this forum. :
What about contacting their support via live chat! It's the easiest and fastest way to submit a complaint or to get answers.
You said you have been playing there for more than two years and you withdrew from them without any issues. Therefore, I think they deserve to be given the benefit of the doubt and to give them some more time before jumping to conclusions and calling them scammers.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: October 06, 2023, 11:58:21 PM
Actually it is. I don't know about your locality but there are local shops in here which provide lotteries and there's no way to verify if those are real.
If you win the lottery your lottery number gets displayed in the newspaper but who knows that the number we get are not fake.
Unfortunately, you are correct. There is no way for the player to be sure the game is fair and he hasn't been cheated. I never heard of a lottery game that uses a provably fair system and not sure if such one exists.
The only thing you can do is to play with famous and big companies which are less likely to cheat. You need to trust the game organizer and hope they will not manipulate the results.
655  Economy / Gambling / Re: make some developments related gambling on: October 06, 2023, 10:59:39 PM
Sorry OP but I didn't understand what you are trying to say! Can you reformulate your post and express your idea in a better way!
All I understood is that you said that online crypto gambling became popular which is a fact and there is nothing new about that.
Are you suggesting that governments should regulate this business? In that case you should know that it's already regulated in many countries and if it's not then it's because the country doesn't accept crypto in first place. The problem is in regulating cryptocurrencies not gambling.
656  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ Paradice.in | 🍀 Provably Fair 🎲 | Rain☔| 30 sec Faucet | 1% House Edge on: October 06, 2023, 10:12:39 PM
Winning such amount in casino is possible but before one can win it, it will not be an easy wagering. Such advertisement was given by another casino which was to win 0.016 and I played the game, men, I loss out and everything was gone. Though I know that I was out luck and those who had luck on that day win the game. And in every game people must loss and others would win and that is the interesting part of any game. I will not participate in the season of the contest and provably next contest. Let me use this to observe the platform. I also wish all the participants good luck.
I never considered wagering contests as real cpntests. I always thought of it as a reward for the most loyal and most active customers.
You should not participate in these contest just for the sake of the reward. If you are a regular player on that casino and wager a lot then it OK if you participate and try to win otherwise don't waste your time and money especially on big casinos where many players wager huge amounts of money and it's almost impossible to compete with them.
657  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sherbet.com - $1,000 Welcome Package - #1 Social Casino - $15,000 Weekly Race 🤑 on: October 06, 2023, 09:28:28 PM
I forget the last time I logged in using that account, because as far as I remember I only opened the Sherbet site when registering and never opened it again.
If you are certain you never used that old account after creating it and, most importantly, you didn't use it to claim any bonus then I don't see any reason why Sherbet would not let you create a new one. However, you should agree to abandon the first one completely and never use it again even if you remember its credentials.
But don't do anything before contacting customer support and getting their approval. Do not listen to tjise who tell you it's OK to create a new account and that sherbet will not find about it. Better be safe than sorry!

I still can't get your and the man you quoted point of view!
Why do you believe that because she is a women she doesn't have the right to gamble! Why do you believe she is less vulnerable than any of you?
You need to understand that women are stronger than man and that they can support pressure more than any of us can do.
You need to realize that women are stronger than men.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: October 05, 2023, 11:32:27 PM
. '.
Any one who thinks he might become rich out of gambling is a fool. As you said, gambling is an entertainment activity. You spend money to have fun. There is a slight chance to make a win and at a rare occasions to make a huge win, but this is part of the "entertainment" aspect. It doesn't mean that if you bet more you will win more. It's totally the opposite, the more you play, the more you lose. All gamblers should be aware of this.

It's not fake and he has the right to dream to win big. There is nothing wrong about that.
The only problem is that he should understand that his chances of winning the jackpot will always remain the same as long as he participate s in the lotteries every now and then.
Yoy need to use maths and probabilities to explain the maths to him.
