About little activity on slack: we are mostly on discord if you wanna chat.
About the monero rebase: the project has been growing so fast that the software base just had to be upgraded in a big step. And it is almost complete, so take note of the effort and the little time it took to achieve the goal, then say "dead coin" again, LoL!

Looks like novaexchange is working, lets get some volume over there!  Cheesy

Deposits are still disabled for all coins.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.2 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: February 09, 2018, 11:16:48 PM
Guys, is this legit? https://github.com/MSFTserver/ccminer/releases

It seems to be released by tpruvot but on MSFTserver repository... and description doesn't seem to be from him. What do you guys think?

I CLONED THE REPOSITORY AND IT COMPILED--

Afterwards, I mined the new RavenCOIN (RVN) algorithm, x16r, on "yiimp.eu:3666".  The binary for the wallet-qt  synchronized rapidly on my Win7 x64 system, and received coins on payout.

CCminer 2.2.5 compiled on my Ubuntu 14.04 system under CUDA 8 (with both current patches).  Intensity is adjustable; I had to lower it to 16 for CCminer 2.2.5 to run on my 6x 750ti rig.  The default intensity is 19.

The notes read that CCminer 2.2.5 is a CUDA 9 creation.  There is no CUDA 9 toolkit for Ubuntu 14.04.  My 750ti rig kept crashing with a memory error in "line 41".  I may post a screen capture of the error later.

Does anybody know how to squeeze CUDA 9 onto Ubuntu 14.04?  Is there some code I could change in "line 41"?  Thanks...      --scryptr

First, you should use cuda 9.1.
Second, why don't you use the latest LTS? 14.04 is so old!

In my country everybody is rich drunk by birth.

Corrected for you :-)

Coinexchange.io is a great option and perhaps southxchange can be a good start. I think we need discord channel for xcn community.

Southexchange costs 0.5 BTC:

https://www.southxchange.com/Home/Vote

But I don't know if it's well deserved or how good it is, never heard of it before.

We have slack but no discord, making a discord channel is easy, I just didn't want to force people to move from slack. But I think discord is better for our purpose so I guess people will move themselves, eventually.
Anyone knows how the auto-invite function of discord works? Does it need hosting?

Well 0.5 btc is too much for that exchange listing (it has not so much trading volume). About discord: after you created the channel, you can invite people by the link and discord have their own hosting (you need to come up with a name and create a server by clicking on an empty plus in the server list. This function is somewhat similar to what was in Raidcall).

here it is:

https://discord.gg/psFsTMv

Let the community decide wether to use slack or discord by the usage ;-)

They want 1 btc now.

Oh god they are all so greedy! They want money up front, money for commissions, and then they always have issues, never update the wallets in time! Exchanges, I tell you something: you need coins to live.

For 1 BTC I suggest to go for crypto-bridge, as this is a dex will go big in the future as many exchange bans will come, the more decentralized exchanges will go mainstream.

I agree, I had a look at cryptobridge and it doesn't have all the shortcomings of bisq which we were discussing. It's decentralised but the interface is just like that of any classic exchange, so it should please all the kinds of users.

I see. What about coinexchange.io? If i remember they have still 1 BTC listing fee.

I thought it was higher but I will check.

Seems like whole pump of Cryptonite was organized by a few entities (I knew about this, it's just a confirmation of it).
Eh, like 99% of crypto which are pumped and dumped.
https://imgur.com/a/IRUq2

He didn't say he was involved in the pump, he just said "several worldwide investors [made money]".
Besides, the message is 3 days old and the pump was in june, the month which saw all the coins go up strong.

The tone of such worded reply as this guy in yt comments, is like this Telegram groups with pump signals.
Imo he was in with others, pumping it.
But that's my opinion. There are more and more stories, about shady activites on these exchanges, that we will see how much organicial and real demand there was
and how much pumping.

Also dramatical slump of prices, are indicating, that we may have turned into bear market now.
And we know what means bear markets in crypto.
I just don't see anyone entering now, at still inflated price.
Rumours about wall street - aren't true imo. They will wait for lower prices. Still most of cryptoassets are overvalued, due to their network effect, and real infrastructure.

true: that's why xcn is still alive and 100s other coins died.

I have a similar problem:

I have sent 1044.60739887 SMART to my wallet on crypto-bridge.
This was the transaction ID: 0a6cc08f0b540f1f2be1f96bb451b06cd43479f716084a5400be21fd3f25e72f
It never appeared but when I look it up

I can see it arrived at 18:36

When I look at the movements of the address SYppuif48ZiPRAmYfcTxv4LoqkyaCeJjyB (the address of my crypto-bridge account) I can see it being transferred to another address an hour later at 19:28 (without me doing anything).
Transaction ID = eb674f6b1fb120bbeaefa5241300a212c2c0dd537d3c5753e3e9de610b1b897e
I can see about 10 of the same transactions going to this one address SXyrrxeH8jPpAaZ1XhBwxPEY8pqZo8q9pF

What is going on and where are my coins?

If you ask your question in their Discord channel, they will surely help you out.

I'm at 20$ per card with opensource miner.
xcn? )))
In fact argo (skein) was making good profit as it was pumped

Argo was good if you got in the first few days probably was 20$ then.

None of those. Sorry guys I can't tell you. The purpose of my post was both to show that even in bad times you can make good profit, and that you shouldn't listen to anyone but everyone. Especially don't listen to bensam and sp_. :-)

You can have an idea of how the team is growing by reading the updates.
Looking at the releases, you only see a small part of the picture. Better spend time for good planning than rushing to release something, just because you wanna put out some code.
Besides, the monero re-base not only enables a much better approach for VPN integration, but also provides a range of improvements to the coin itself.

Guys, should we wait for nova to open deposits, or should we apply for stocks.exchange? Recently, they got stable again and I think they still ask for 0.12 BTC listing fee (which, by today stabndards, is pretty low).

Where does YiiMP board get mBTC/MH/Day rate for Raven (RVN) I don't see any exchange site ?

No exchanges. It's a preset value, probably something like 100 SAT.

Qa: how many blocks for confirmation is a choice by the receiver of a transaction. There is no "secure" number of confirmations, but the likelihood of a block being orphaned increases exponentially with that number (just like with bitcoin).

Qb: double spending protection is by public ledger (account balance sheet). You can't spend the same coins twice because everyone knows how many you have.

Let me reply the easy question from the phone and the rest later.
M7 is not suited for dual mining as it requires a good amount of GPU ram (more than x11, for example). Unlike Blake, M7 can't be made on a single kernel and fast.
