642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your feelings if Bitcoin price takes your expectations unaware on: December 26, 2023, 11:59:07 PM
As a short-term goal Bitcoin Investor whose eyes has been on the Bitcoin market and has accumulated as much Bitcoin while expecting the bull-run markets to come and skyrockets so you can sell you Coins at a profitable higher price, and then you wake up lately maybe at night or sometimes in the morning and learns that Bitcoins value rate (Price) hitted the market even times 3 of what you expected for example, you awaits the market to hit $65K and then it hits $165K just at your slightest mistake of given the markets charts monitoring maybe few minutes or an hour break and then it depreciated unimpressively against your will probably even below your hodling value at your notice, how would you feel at it?
That was another missed opportunity for someones who has always aim to see bitcoin price at its peak. Now that it happens, you're not there to monitor the market but only leave with you a very disappointing price that anyone will feel the regret of not having to sell when the market value is at its peak. But that's okay, as cheaper price opens new opportunity to accumulate more bitcoin at a very affordable price.

However, bitcoin has always seen recovering from its deepest price drop, so don't be too alarmed but wait for the market to recover again so you can sell at its very impressive price.
643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone can succeed as a bitcoin trader on: December 26, 2023, 11:24:04 PM
...Knowing how to trade would only get you that far, but not j to the realm of successful traders. It takes a whole lot of desire to win, persistence and consistency to be a successful trader. So I assure that anyone who wants to be a successful trader can be by pursuing with passion...

This is all just theory, but in practice everything is completely different. And there are a very large number of traders who, after many years of unprofitable trading, decide to change their role to an investor. And for many, this is the right decision that allows you to earn a lot of money with minimal risk, which is still present when investing.
Its not all the time that passion can go a long way. Yes, you may have all the enthusiasm to trade and persistency to keep on going, but you get easily fainted when you start seeing consecutive losses. When it happens almost in every time you trade, you will definitely lost your passion to trade. Trading is not all about passion, but rather it's about knowledge, skills and strategies, as well as patience and discipline. If you don't have the last two, you will still fail and commit losses when trading.

Anyone can trade but not anyone can be a successful trader. A lot desire to trade due to its high promising profits but end up seeing them investing in the market since the offers are equal and yet it's less risky and less stressful.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin HODL: what happens to Bitcoin holders during impressive price increase? on: December 26, 2023, 10:59:51 PM
A lot would be actually tempting to sell because of the impressive price. Most especially for those who are badly needing money since they only have bitcoin investment, then they have no choice but to sell early. However, as long as you sell not at loss, that would always be a good decision to sell. But most likely for those who have other sources of income aside from bitcoin, they will just ignore the current impressive price but will continue to hold more as they are looking forward for a new all time high for bitcoin, that will enable them to sell at a much higher and impressive price.

Bitcoin hodling is proven to be a highly profitable activity for bitcoin. But it never means that you will just hold your coins forever because you're in for a bigger rewards. You need to sell as well at some point so you can enjoy your profits every now and then. Not a requirement but a wise decision to take.
645  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big buying opportunity might be on the horizon on: December 25, 2023, 05:56:27 PM
Bitcoin reaching it's new all time high has always been its goal even before SEC approval for bitcoin ETF news has spread out. That's why irregardless of its outcome, bitcoin is still determine to reach its goal.

However, upon seeing the SEC approval does not turn into reality, bitcoin price might be possibly affected and we should prepare for that. Not just to stay hodling on our investment but to take advantage on the new cheap price for bitcoin. Bitcoin accumulation will only be maximized if you do it at a perfect timing.
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow the technique if you have zero trading knowledge in crypto on: December 25, 2023, 05:35:34 PM
what techniques do you use in trading or what indicators do you use in trading. can share the portfolio, if it's good, I might be interested in learning what indicators to use.

If trading without any knowledge at all, it's better to start with copy trade, don't trade right away, what's more big capital. or you can use a demo account first in MT4 forex market cypto there is also really.
I prefer to create a demo account first so you can test the techniques all you want. Either it will be a failure or not, at least you know as to where its heading. But even in trading with demo account, prior knowledge in trading is still important. Trading is not suitable for those who are still in the position of acquiring knowledge as trading is all about skills and enhanced strategies to expect positive outcome from trading. If you think you don't have that, better to focus first on long term hodling.

After all, long term hodling still promise huge amount of profits. A lot of traders turn into long term hodling and still end up successful as long as patience and determination is always present.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 25, 2023, 04:59:56 PM
its truly important to be set up financially before even having marriage because financial is the bane of the existence of the family without it divorcement occurred quite frequently.
after all, before when you were a single person you don't have to worry about fulfilling basic needs you can live frugally and have that kind of irresponsible spending for your earning but when you have family you have to take up the responsibility of also taking care your spouse, even your descendant, therefore money spending become the reason that keeps your family together otherwise it will crack and it will be a problematic thing you need to face.
always know that starting out family is not some measly thing, its not a thing that can be underestimated, so many people kept saying that they will figure it out as the time goes when they get married, but alas there are too many cases in the court in regard of divorcement. such thing also probably starts out from the fact that they try to figure out how to earn enough for family and they failed miserably because earning money is definitely tough thing.
Having stable finances is actually a great factor when it comes to the future of marriage. No marriage will sure to survive if the funds are always in a downturn. Maybe it would be okay if it only happens seldom, because we can't always be on top of our finances, but if it happens all the time, no wife or spouse will be able to continue the burden, that's why divorce happens at the end of the marriage.

Not only for financial responsibility, but even to some other aspects that would contribute to the sustainability of a marriage, the two individuals need to work on it first before they enter the room for marriage.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best piece of advice to anyone going into bitcoin on: December 25, 2023, 04:41:10 PM
I seriously can't think of anything better than this, its really the best advice without a doubt Cheesy I mean think about it, if you keep doing this for 10 years, or even 20 years, then there is a very very slim chance that you won't be rich. Obviously, the only down side is that sometimes life makes things harder and you need to cash out, which happened to me 2.5 times now and I am doing fine but at the same time, that's good too, when life throws you a curve ball, you just have money o the side thanks to bitcoin to pay for it and not have to much debt. I think that should be quite important aspect of it. I am quite enjoying it and I think most people would enjoy it as well, its not really a bad deal at all, definitely works for the better for us.
It's not actually bad to sell at some point, as long as you sell for profits and to save you from current financial breakdown, then it's definitely okay. However, make sure to buy again when you gained extra money on the side so that you can continue to hold for long term through DCAing. It can be weekly or monthly, that depends on you as long as you do it in a consistent manner.

What's important here is you have something to look forward in the future, regardless of the amount of profits that you may reap after years of doing DCA and long term hodling.
649  Other / Off-topic / Re: I bought some ornaments for my mother with investment and signature money. on: December 25, 2023, 01:49:33 PM
Your mother must be so proud of you because you were able to provide and fulfill her long time desire on having gold ornaments. Thanks to bitcointalk that serves as a tool to finally grant your mother her dream on wearing gold jewelry.

You know it increases our motivation to work hard even more seeing we are now able to put a smile on our mother's face or any loved ones. Thus, the more you continue to participate various signature campaigns, the more income you will get, the higher the chances that you can provide your loved ones their goals in life. I just hope that this is just the start and there will be more wish granting in the next months and years. So work hard and even dream more.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 25, 2023, 11:27:43 AM
TNT is playing without an import now, but they started strong in the first quarter, good thing Ginebra were able to catch up in the 2nd quarter and they are even now at 37 at the end of the half. During the first quarter when Ginebra was already down, I was able to bet on -5.5 but now if you are interested in betting, you can take it at -7.5.

IMO, this is still a very enticing bet as TNT won't be able to last with RHJ whom they are used to in carrying their offense.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 25, 2023, 11:03:13 AM
Unfortunately, the losing streak continues, both Celtics and Sixers won their game already and same with Bucks huge lead against the Knicks.

Christmas day match-up, a lot of good games to watch,

Nuggets vs Warriors - GSW a change team after the Draymond incident, winning back to back.
Lakers vs Celtics - Lakers have the homecourt advantage
Knicks vs Bucks - Knicks looking to bounce back, will be at MSG
Suns vs Mavs - Suns on a losing streak, and we all know that there's no love lost between Luka and Booker
I have no doubt that they will be exciting games to watch... especially the Suns and Mavs game, because Luka and Booker have a rivalry and I'm sure neither of them will want to lose the game.
It's the same venue when Luka make them cried in game 7 of Semi, but that time there was no Durant yet, it was Booker and CP3. Now, we will see a much more improve Luka, he's playing an at MVP level, so I don't think there's any in the Suns team that could stop him.

Suns though have the edge here as they are on their home court, but their record is 3-7 in the last 10, so they badly need a win here.

I believe it will also be a close game, but I imagine... Mavs will win the game.

Of course, Mavs are capable of winning, but in this situation, I think the home team will win.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 24, 2023, 07:31:24 PM
The value of Bitcoin has gradually reached great heights. It has become impossible for a new small investor like me to invest in Bitcoin. I am a very small investor. $2k wealth is mine. Well does Bitcoin provide any opportunity in future that I can invest.
Do not wait for future opportunities, now is the best time to invest while bitcoin price is still not at its peak. Yes, it will always be expensive even before but you don't have to buy a whole bitcoin in the first place. You can start investing even with a less amount, that means your spare money that you are comfortable losing. If you do DCA overtime, you will earn more than 1 bitcoin throughout years of investing.

Right now, if you stay hesitant to invest because of its expensive price, then you might be regretting in the future. Bitcoin has a very bright future, so grab every opportunity that comes by start buying now.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: December 24, 2023, 03:40:55 PM
Someone should look for alternative ways that can provide additional income than asking other people to finance their gambling.

This has been diverted to the topic already. It's not the content of the topic since "financing a gambler?" means like a professional work, like a gambler has the skills but doesn't have the capital in gambling, and with that, he'll be looking for financers and they'll have an agreemnet on how they'll split up the profit in case the gambler wins, but if it goes otherwise, the gambler will have not liability, or whatsoever.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 24, 2023, 03:15:40 PM

Next game will be against Meralco Boltz, I think they can still win this game.

I don't know, I think Meralco are gonna bounce back from a lose against Ginebra. Their import will have to play better basketball this time which I'm sure he is capable of, so I think to take chances here and instead I will bet on Meralco, hopefully they are the underdog.

But let us not discuss more about that game yet because we have two games tomorrow that are line up.

SMB vs Phoenix and Ginebra vs TNT, I like the 2nd game and I like to bet on Ginebra.
655  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is hard!!! on: December 23, 2023, 11:59:59 PM
It's funny how YouTubers successfully influenced newbies that trading bitcoin is a get rich quick. Not realizing the fact that trading alone is hard, and it will be much harder when we say what you are going to trade is bitcoin which is certainly a high-risk asset. And the reason why such traders quickly enter the market to trade because of their hunger for profits, even though they are still in the process of learning bitcoin trading.

However, trading is hard and will always be. But once you get used to trade and you already accept the reality that there are inevitable losses in trading, then maybe you will easily understand how to trade Bitcoin successfully.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think Bitcoin ETF will be approved? on: December 23, 2023, 11:35:35 PM
I think it will be approved within Dec last.
What you guys think?
I don't see any chance for this year's ETF approval most especially that probably SEC officials are into holidays and are busy with their own family's festive activities. But after this year, hopefully by January we will hear from them positive feedbacks about bitcoin ETF, in which I think has higher probability to happen.

Now, if by chance bitcoin ETF will be disapproved, no worries as there will be another ETF that will surely come out soon for approval. Just as easy as that. But I just hope that it will eventually happen next month as it could also help to boost the price of bitcoin if ever.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gifted wife with bitcoin money on birthday and wife happily gifted BTC logo on: December 23, 2023, 05:44:33 PM
I wish all the best to both of you. It's good you celebrated your wife's birthday with bitcoin earnings. I thought you gifted Bitcoin, but I clearly understood when I read the full post that you bought a gift with your earnings from Bitcoin. However, I feel a direct Bitcoin gift would be more memorable; I mean, gift some Bitcoin to her wallet. Since it's already past, you may plan for the next birthday. A bitcoin gift might give a good return in the near future as well, which would be special for both of you. Anyway, you did good and appreciate your wife's gift, which is BTC writing and logo.
That's also my first assumption based on the title alone. However, I agree with you that probably by next time, it will be more valuable if the real btc will be given to his wife. Not only it's a good investment, but it will also be a good retirement in the future. I believe your wife will be very happy for that knowing both of you have higher knowledge about bitcoin.

For now, plan it early so you can save btc as much as you can. But regardless if it's big or small amount, that will still be huge in the future once she decides to hold it for couple of years.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 23, 2023, 02:59:25 PM
But in spite of everything that is happening in the ecosystem of the gambling industry, there are still many gamblers who play even though they know that they often lose because they still hope that they will get lucky eventually; that's how they motivate themselves.

They? That's us, right? unless you aren't a gambler. Personally, I do enjoy gambling if only I win, and if I lose, I would consider it as a challenge and that makes more interested in gambling. However, overtime, I know what kind of gambling to choose as there are skilled based and luck based gambling, of course we choose those skilled based as that gives us a real chance, so for me, I'm more focus into sports betting, continuously finding the working strategy and hoping that one day I'll able to discover it.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 23, 2023, 10:04:39 AM

Today, we have two games. The first game has already started, it's DYIP vs ROS, can't decide which team to bet so I just watch the game without putting money.
I didn't even bother to check the pregame odds on this game. Same as you, I'm also not intersted in watching, you know, a farm team playing isn't really interesting to watch because we already know what to expect, and as expected, they lose to ROS.

However, in the 2nd game, it's Converge vs Magnolia, I think I'm betting on Magnolia even if they didn't cover the spread last time.

Not sure what you guys think about this game, but as for me, I'm going with the heavy underdog here.  Since it's Sunday and I have some to spare, I'm betting on the Converge to upset the Magnolia.  Converge is at 6.10 for ML!
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shuffle.com ⚽ 🏈 Sports Betting Contest Discussion | Round 1 live on: December 23, 2023, 09:40:31 AM
Little Mouse,  with the current high tx fees instead of spending $30-$80 per transaction is it not better to have the coins paid out in LTC to save  some $$$ and get tx confirmed faster...because at the moment the ordinals are doing more harm..
I agree with your suggestion (if possible) and it's more convenient for both sides in the future rounds since we don't know how long these high fees will last.

I got knocked down to fourth after that unexpected list of bets from mirakal and advance congrats to you guys for securing the top three prizes with Gennady.  Wink

Haha, sorry mate, not my intention to put you in the 4th place.  Good thing LM brought this to gambling board discussion, otherwise, I woudn't see it. When saw this and I got interested, right there and then I funded my shuffle account from my stake balance. I just got lucky I guess but I'm pretty sure the next round onwards will be a tough competition with you guys.

Excuse me sir, which rule does made me disqualified?
Sorry buddy I didn't mean to offend you.
