i havent got any pms from you on this account are you sure ur not sending me a message on my other account?.The EXE works fine it has always worked fine. there just arent enough node's on the network and Bryan Mills took down the seed nodes for peer discovery so finding nodes is even harder now.

I have a node at bte.vima.austin.tx.us that is up 24/7 at about 90% uptime.
It has about 30 connections at any given time.

Perhaps I could publish peers.dat, or a textfile with seeds, if that is helpful.

Yes please that way everyone can just use that to connect up

i dont know where you seem to get the idea i want bytecoin to be something it isnt. bitcoin has a test bed its called bitcoin testnet. bytecoin is and always will be a bitcoin clone coin. You may ask people like digigami. whats here now is more than there was a few months ago. bytecoin was completely dead stuck at high diff. atleast now its active.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ByteCoin Update on: March 07, 2014, 01:48:02 PM
The updated client (in progress) is here: https://github.com/CryptoRepairCrew/bytecoin

me and my team previously did the remake of adt v2. we've just been a bit busy and it seems the 3 people involved in bte including myself have been too busy to keep care of it.  so thats why there haven't been many updates

Just chill out and give them time. that's all I have to say. accusing them of stuff isn't going to speed things up
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Androids Tokens v2.0 [Download NOW! ] on: March 07, 2014, 10:25:16 AM
just received this from Cryptsy support:

We apologize for the inconvenience that the ADT situation is causing. The ADT swap over isn't as simple as people in the forums and even the developers are making it out to be. We hold a majority of the currency in our wallets. This leads to an input issues. If we went to send all of our coins at once it would not fit into a block. If we sent rather large amounts it may be some time before the network accepts them into a block. It's going to take time and we don't want to automate the process until we are sure it will work flawlessly. Rest assured we are working on the swap and will have it complete as soon as possible
Thank you for your patience.

there just shifting the blame if they had done it while all there coins were staking and the blocks moved fast it would have been fine

I have given them a few solutions to the problem but they seam to just want to pass on the blame for not swapping over

the chances are they could swap at least 70-80% of there coins without having the issue then the last  20-30% swapped over a bunch of blocks

I have offered to accept the wallet.dat once it gets to the harder coins to swap then swap over the coins for them so there is 0 work involved for them but no reply to that

I disagree they are talking the truth. on another coin I had to send 127K in 1K batches because of input limits on the coin. and I'd be lead to believe they are having the same issues with adt v1. so no they aren't shifting the blame. im also sure their wallet.dat is huge too (think multiple gigs as my pool wallets have been that size at times). So I'd say give them a break and let them get on with it

654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In some ways isn't Litecoin a "scam coin" too? on: March 06, 2014, 03:32:38 PM
if you read the OP of litecoin coblee states the reasons for making litecoin. these include a proper cap on coins unlike fairbrix which didnt have one and just to be a clean fork of the bitcoin code rather than fork of fork of fork (look at starcoin and derivatives which are are a forking mess due to bugs from forking other clients)
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In some ways isn't Litecoin a "scam coin" too? on: March 06, 2014, 10:58:57 AM
so sad. the litecoin dev's never did create the scrypt algo. anyone with 1/2 a brain would have known that after checking on litecoin's history. a dev called lolcust who created giestgeld, and tenebrix created the scrypt algo (for tenebrix) coblee forked it and created fairbrix (Tenebrix without the premine) then went on to start fresh and created litecoin. so no it isnt a scam
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEW CURRENCY] Maria 2.0 was banned, here is her proof. The birth of Bytecoin! on: March 06, 2014, 10:32:44 AM
there isnt any thats the point. its the one coin which openly says its a clone coin and proud
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin on: March 02, 2014, 05:10:44 PM
I've worked on multiple pos coins and worked on pools for numerous pos coins. and yes hazard is right there are more orphans. but a huge 200+ block chain being orphaned is not normal
@Hazard i'd have expected you to know better than that of all people.
