641  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: October 18, 2019, 06:08:02 AM
Terrorism, drug trafficking, money laundering etc existed many centuries back before the inception of cryptocurrency. This raises the question, ''then why do you associate cryptocurrency to terrorism funding?'' I think this is just one of the strategies adopted by the banks and governments to tarnish the reputation of cryptocurrency because before the inception of cryptocurrency, what were used to funds terrorism?
Truly terrorism has been before cryptocurrency but it's no more a hidden fact that terrorist has been using cryptocurrency as means of funding themselves, it's much more easier in transferring cash as compared to moving fiat,  that is why people are advised to not give out their kyc details easily online because they are being sold perhaps to this people
642  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: October 17, 2019, 08:38:20 PM
Sometimes when I look around and see how cheap I sold some of my coins I will feel like what is happening to me then,  feel like having my coins back,  but it's impossible,  if everyone knew bitcoin price will be high as $20k no one would sell and inflation will come to place
643  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 08:21:22 PM
The volatility of  cryptocurrency  might be one of the reasons to discourage small business from accepting any crypto payments in exchange to their goods,  perhaps if usdt is being considered they might,  because a small business might not be able to bear so much loss during bear season
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 17, 2019, 07:33:43 PM
first they were talking about a deficit of ~90mil, but AC Milan's deficit is 140mil
is the worst financial statement of AC Milan ever.

AC Milan have the players to challenge for the Seria A title and other competitions, all what I think they need is the right manager,  I don't think Stefano Pioli is capable of taking AC Milan to previous Milan we knew during 2004/2005
645  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money can't buy happiness ... on: October 17, 2019, 05:00:20 PM

perhaps happiness cannot buy it but health almost certainly yes when there are expensive cures that can save your life you need to have money
Well you have a point here, just like those who have HIV, cancer.  antiretroviral  drugs and other cancer therapy are quite expensive, money is needed for the continuous buying of these drugs, money makes the important things in life much better.
646  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't put your full trust on exchanges regarding scam projects. on: October 17, 2019, 04:37:20 PM
OP is right,  I also noticed it that lots of projects that conduct ico or IEO,  got dumped when listed on an exchange,  lots of these exchanges are only concerned about listing, trading and withdrawal fee,  after  the team  dump, the price does not pick up to the initial price after dumping
647  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite free PC game? on: October 17, 2019, 03:19:38 PM
Anyone here playing Need for speed most wanted? this game is really interesting.  That's one of my favorite PC games, the sounds alone got me feeling cool when playing, I love the game
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 17, 2019, 03:03:38 PM
Leverkusen gonna win 1-2 and Volland will score, he s always scored vs Frankfurt. Place your bets and get rich quick and easy!  Cool
Have you also placed your bet on this?  If yes show us your booking game,  I don't see Leverkusen winning this game,  at worst for Frankfurt will be a draw
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 17, 2019, 08:34:43 AM
Tomorrow the german League will start again (god thanks) with the match Frankfurt vs Leverkusen.
It will be difficult to bet about the game because Frankfurt is playing well and good at Home and they have the 12th Man in kind of there Fans.
But Leverkusen also playing well and it will be an intressting match i guess.
My bet goes for Leverkusen.

If you look at the statistics of both teams, it is indeed very difficult to predict this match. Frankfurt is more fortunate because they play at home. The rest will be each team will determine.
I agree with you if you take Leverkusen in this match.

If it's hard to choose who wins why should you take the risk  Grin of course there are many other choices such as both  teams to score
From my observations most of the matches in the Bundesliga end with each other scoring goals
I guess he is trying to go against the majority who choose Leverkusen to win, Grin  just like choosing Wolverhampton to win against Manchester City at home,  the odd was so juicy and no one expected Wolverhampton to win because city was also fortunate at home
650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC still have any rally before 2020? on: October 17, 2019, 05:48:43 AM

From research and modeling to making specific benchmarks, experts are working hard to prove that Bitcoin will survive. Bitcoin price predictions for 2020 are very broad, between $ 20,000 to $ 1 million US dollars.
Experts are not working hard to prove anything, bitcoin is working fine and there are more investors coming into the market, i am not into these huge predictions but i know i will always be in profit when ever i sell the coin.
The prediction is pretty huge,  lots of expert just give predictions on mere analysis that they do,  no cognitive reasons to back their analysis,  it will take a huge time for bitcoin to reach a million dollar,

For you to say you will always be in profit when ever you sell bitcoin, It seems you also bought bitcoin at a very cheap rate few years back,
651  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: October 17, 2019, 05:38:35 AM
I bought @150 and @600 and hodled ever since. Not sure how I lost?
Are you trying to say that you bought bitcoin at $150 and $600  per 1 bitcoin and you did not sell at $20k??
Wow! You are truly a Hodler gang,  at least I would have taken profit at almost when bitcoin was close to $20k

Yeah I was not giving much shit about money that time to be honest. Afterwards its easy to say "you should have..."
I'm very sure that you will be calculating the amount of money you should have made right now after not selling when bitcoin was at all time high,  anyway you are still on huge profit,  your holding will definitely pay up, because bitcoin is certainly not done in moving to a new all time high

653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 16, 2019, 06:12:08 PM
De Gea just injured himself taking a goal kick, looks like a pulled hamstring or something. He had to be helped off the pitch. Things coming together nicely for the weekend Wink
He will be a big miss for Man Utd,  who knows maybe he faked his injury so as not to get humiliated against Liverpool  Grin  Grin because it's a sure goals galore game,  Liverpool will score

LOL, that would be a funny case. However, I don't think that he did it on purpose.
In games that they are between strong teams the players want to be on the first line up and prove that they worth being on a bigger club. De Gea will be a significant loss for Man Utd.
Yeah I knew he had injury,  was just trying to joke around and see the reaction of some Man Utd fans  Grin, hopefully Romero will do a fantastic job in making sure that they don't concede much goals  Grin

Ignore it and don't send any funds to them,  else you gonna blame yourself,  telegram is a heaven for scammers,  lots  of messages  from anonymous people about investing in their platforms you've got to be careful  if you are having any transaction there,
656  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bad experience with exchanges on: October 16, 2019, 12:11:17 PM
Hello

I'm wondering if you ever had a bad experience with crypto exchange, what was it and which exchange?

Feel free to share all kind of stories.
Not really much just that there was a day I intend to buy a coin on etherdelta and site was really lagging that particular day and i was in a haste to buy a specific coin, not knowing that I had input wrong parameters in the place of price per coin and the quantity I want to buy, I was so angry because that was not the first time of using etherdelta
657  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: October 16, 2019, 10:19:37 AM
Holding any cryptocurrency might be a big problem if you see it in a short span investment. For long-term University it will not cause any problem and they will keep some funds for the safety in stable currencies or or somewhere in their banks.
People holding tokens and cheap rate altcoins will feel for barely.
The type of cryptocurrency you are holding will determine what outcome you gonna have in future,  holding any cryptocurrency might not be a problem if you have do research on the type of coin you wanna hold,  I'm sure you know that those who holds bitcoin,  ethereum and lots of other good coins when they were relatively cheap are blaming their selves for selling quickly

^  I'd not be happy to have Pogba at my club.  What a drama queen he is lately.  He could be downing tools at Juve too if for some reason he's unhappy.
He has been there before and he is no drama queen,  Pogba will be a big plus for Juventus,  imagine the combination of Matuidi,  Pjanic and Pogba in midfield,  that's gonna be really awesome
Thank you @FlamingFingers
What you say, it's true. I also think that Pogba will add to the ammunition that Juventus have now. That is why Juventus have ambitions to repatriate Pogba again. So that Juventus can be even stronger in the middle line in particular.
Manchester United knows the benefits of Pogba in their squad that is why they don't wanna release him to another club so easily,  if they are not interested in him they would have done what they did to Lukaku,
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why it is important to lose Bitcoin to an incorrect wallet address on: October 16, 2019, 08:23:44 AM

It is a good thing you lost it, and it's a good thing it cannot be recovered.
Maybe you will be more careful next time Wink

When you consider something as valuable, you ought to treat it with great value and care,  so before sending out your "valuable Bitcoin",  if it's really important to you,  ensure that you double check the address to avoid loss.

If you have lost Bitcoin the first time due to the aforementioned wallet issue,  then you ain't supposed to lose another one,  as you must have learnt to be more careful now.
Have you ever lost bitcoin to such a little mistake before?  If Yes do you consider it invaluable?  Lots of people who lost their bitcoin through this means value their coin, or perhaps might be a noob, and would have learned from it the hard way
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: October 16, 2019, 05:48:28 AM
Spain made me lose my bet tonight in overtime, Sweden should have added more goals.  suisse and Gréce They were happy tonight, lol😉 It made me win the bet on them
It is not a surprise that the Spanish team drew,  they are topping the group with five points,  I knew they won't take the match that serious,  main looking at the formation you can tell what the outcome will be like, no Ramos,  Morata, Busquet and lots of other fisrt team playera
