661  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Question about x16-x16 Riser with molex on: June 11, 2013, 10:22:25 AM
I know what's the purpose of the molex, but if you don't want to connect it for whatever reason, does the x16-x16 riser still work like a non-powered one ?

Yes, although you might burn out your mobo power connectors if the GPUs are drawing too much current!

You might be able to get away with two powered and two unpowered connectors, but it is not advisable.

The new Mac Pro may be a good miner. With dual ATI and 7TerraHash, Tim even said it supports openCL, maybe apple is secretly mining. The difficulty rate has nothing to do with ASICs, it's Johhny!

TeraFlops, not TeraHash Tongue

Well that's really funny Tongue

The reserve price is 7, and the winning bid is 6.9...

To verify this, take the string "Garr255's MacBook reserve price is 7" without quotes and put it into this: http://www.technipixel.com/webapps/hashencoder.htm and click sha256.

Then take that output string of text and put it into the top of the hasher, and click sha256 again. You should get "906c1bbaad58d376ce3516bcf5e4c91ba32750d8f5d9d50d3d542180014e5924" which is the same string as what's in the OP which means I'm not lying Tongue

I might have a friend who wants to buy it, and if so will give him the priority. If not then I will sell it to the winner if he wants to pay BTC7 for it.

I'll have the decision by tomorrow.

Regards,
Garrett

you cant but we can, I will get you started on 10@1.5 (I will pay all escrow and shipping costs to E.U.)
As this is lower than your starting bid there is no obligation for you to accept. Win-Win!

I second this and bid 10@1.7

Your total chip count is a liitle concerning to me - I sent payment and an email following the OP guidelines on May 31. Can you confirm that you have my order for 35 chips with tx id: d9330d2ed01292eb8e9404c96305148861c5ff91170e03a4aef803b8895eb18e

Updated. I only update the OP a few times a week.

I just looked at all the correspondence with your email address and don't see anything like that.  Was it under another email address?

I have two emails I've used to place orders with BFL. I'm certain that either Dave or Jody told me that I would be receiving 64gh/s units.
679  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] MacBook Air :: Latest Model :: i5 :: 4gb RAM :: 13" on: June 08, 2013, 09:53:04 PM

Invalid bid. See OP
680  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction: 2 BFL 64+ gh/s Single Preorders on: June 08, 2013, 07:53:31 PM
It's absolutely clear. BFL "said" 65, and now it's nearly impossible. So they have 2 options:
1. Rise clock, place best chips, fine tune and get ~64. Best option.
2. Backup option - Single will be < 60 GH/s. Then they will add Jalapeno ~5 GH/s so - again 64, not 65. Garr255, note that this will be still one miner accordance to this auction agreement.

Hmm.. that I'd like to see. But it's unlikely you'll get a 64 GH/s unit.  We've never offered anything above 60 GH/s, other than the Minirigs, which are 1500 or 500 depending on the date.

Yes, however they deliver the 64gh/s, I will redeliver to you.
