661  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Old Hardware for Purchase? on: March 11, 2015, 07:51:15 PM
Since the OP was the one that was directed at, he has first chance.

If he doesn't want it I will go by forum time stamp of who replied first.  I will do the comparison once OP decides if he wants it or not.
662  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Old Hardware for Purchase? on: March 11, 2015, 07:20:43 PM
I have a LightningAsic/Visionman 200, that I will sell you for $10 plus shipping.  $10 is enough to make me get it out of the attic.  Needs a PSU.

http://www.visionman.com/prospector-200-200ghs-visionmanavalon-asic-bitcoin-mining-rig-p-9305.html

You can actually sell the controller and power board for more the $10 after your done with it (Probably)

665  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: The Economy of Mining on: March 10, 2015, 09:10:19 PM
Hello,

I would like to ask what happen if number of miners get trippled.
Will be then amount of BTC mined with the same hashpower 3x less?
Thanks!

Your chance of finding a block will decrease, as now the new miners will be getting blocks too.
666  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What's the deal, miners? on: March 10, 2015, 08:15:33 PM
Buy in bulk and it will reduce costs considerably.

Do not buy 1-3 SP31, order 20-40 then the pricing makes it so you can make profit.
667  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Spondoolies SP20E - 375$ include shipping on: March 10, 2015, 03:52:39 PM

 Huh

Sorry my ignorance but, why is the SP20 more desirable than the SP3x?

Power requirements and noise.

670  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: March 05, 2015, 10:48:20 PM
First lost in Hashie and now in Amhash. If I ever invest cloud mining again, will certainly choose USA based firms with customer support and known address maybe Zenminers was a scam but I earned 4 times more from my investment.

Yes because USA mining companies like hashfast, cointerra or butterfly labs are any better...... to be honest i prefer the current situation with a crazy story line than the BFL 2 week saga

USA location only becomes better when you need to know who to blame and take to court.  Bad people are in all countries and will screw people over regardless of where they are.

Hashfast, Cointerra, and BFL all ended up in court.  Things never magically disappeared.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BurtW arrested on: March 05, 2015, 10:17:10 PM
I wouldn't be surprised if the government shut down LocalBitcoins soon.  They support the big compliant exchanges like CoinBase, but we all know that LocalBitcoins isn't on the list of government's favorite exchanges ..

That's because it is P2P and P2P is all about being not governed, so naturally gov. hates P2P

The whole idea behind government is centralization  Sad

They do not support the big exchanges either.  Money laundering is money laundering as defined by law they will charge whoever they can with it.  Just make sure you do not fit the definition in the law and you are okay.

672  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Would a C1 survive without water cooling in a -1C cooled room ? on: March 05, 2015, 10:04:50 PM
The real question is why are you trying to torture your C1?

If the room is -1 any temperature, just stick a bucket of coolant next to it with a submersible pump and stick both the intake and the out in the bucket of coolant the cold room will be enough to cool the coolant so the C1 will be happy.

Don't torture your miners, love them.
673  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KNC Neptune new on: March 05, 2015, 07:59:17 PM
They are?  Where?  At those prices I might as well keep it and find a way to power 2 neptunes myself.

Ebay and other places, think it was $900 on ebay. Yea better to mine with it, although if your power is not extremely cheap you may still make more by selling it cheap.  Do the math and decide for yourself.
674  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Minning from another place. on: March 05, 2015, 06:51:07 PM
I'm looking to purchase some miners to be ship to someone and that person to do the minning til I profit and then we share profits.

I think something else would have to be worked out with 100% of the people out there, just doesn't make sense you take all the profits, while there is an physical space and electricity racking up a bill.

There's also a reasonably well-maintained list:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.0

Hmmm, all this talk is making me think about renting out power and space to miners.  I could easily beat the prices on that list.

675  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: U.S. 220v power on: March 05, 2015, 04:54:05 PM
I have half my load center wired for 240v, going to miners.  About 140 amps worth.

And it is actually 220v-240v depending on wiring and voltage drops, transformer load, etc etc.
676  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter Tube Sales Information Thread [Round4, Price at <1btc per TH/s] on: March 05, 2015, 03:29:23 AM
They also apparently have a manhunt going on for them.
677  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Liquid cooled IceCube 85-175Mh/s+ SCRYPT miner on: March 04, 2015, 10:11:53 PM
If your accepting Paypal when are you planning to have items to ship?  I may do paypal with an order with goods in hand, but I will not do a pre-order.
678  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Wow! KnC Neptunes are insanely cheap on Ebay! on: March 04, 2015, 09:38:15 PM
Also didn't their customer support basically disappear?
679  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 12 antminer S3 available on: March 04, 2015, 05:03:45 AM
What batch are they from?  Where are they shipping from?

12 would complete the last 2 rows on my S3 rack lol
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Mining mogul FriedCat has stolen more than a million in AM hash SCAM on: March 04, 2015, 12:20:32 AM
Maybe it is just me, but it seems a lot easier to go after Ponzi's and Scammers in the USA.  Other countries seem to not care, or do not have the means to go after them.  I will say this is not always the case but look at BFL and Cointerra easily found and dragged to court.

Having to resort to an all out manhunt to take any action is more then most people should have to deal with.
