Sana naman gumawa ng action ang SEC, since may inilabas na silang advisory, bakit hindi pa nila pinapasara or hinuhuli ang mga may-ari ng scam na kumpanyang ito.
You don't understand. By laws, SEC is just a regulatory agency na responsible sa pagpapatupad ng federal securities laws saka pagreregulate ng mga securities industry sa Pinas. Wala talaga silang mandate to arrest scammers, but what they can actually do is to press civil charges to those individuals who violates their laws.

Kung may gagawa man ng action, it has to the Department of Justice (DOJ) or the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

683  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|InstantWithraw| v3.0 Launched! on: February 13, 2023, 06:10:48 AM
If Ninja Investor is used to be able to risk money by investing in casino bankrolls with the aim of having passive income, then if the price of cryptocurrency decreases, we will also lose money with the funds we save in the bankroll, which must be in the form of certain crypto.
The "For more information" section has already mentioned that your funds aren't tied up to the casino's bankroll, which means that your money is unaffected regardless of whether someone wins or loses big time. Thus, your money will grow over time depending on how long you've staked it.

Of course, whenever crypto goes south, you'd definitely expect the value to go down as well, but not the quantity of your investment. So overall, there is really nothing to worry about losing your investment in the long run, except how blackjack.fun will handle the security of your funds, as you are expected to give them your money without having access to your private keys.
684  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|InstantWithraw| v3.0 Launched! on: February 12, 2023, 07:57:02 AM
Hey everyone! Has anyone tried the "Ninja Investor" feature on Blackjack.fun? Because I can't see some sort of graph or something that there's few people tried using it.

I understand that the more you stake, the larger the reward. However, I have some questions that are not clearly defined in the section.

- Does staking have any fees? As it is a staking pool, it seems logical that Blackjacks.fun would have an economic incentive for doing so.
- Are funds locked for a specific period of time after being placed in the staking pool? I've used similar platforms that offer the same type of investment and there's usually a time lock before you can withdraw your funds.

ya'know just some clarifications. Thanks
685  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 12, 2023, 01:48:13 AM
If you guys want to have a clean browsing experience without seeing any shitty ads, use firefox with ublock origin extension installed. That's the least you can do to improve your searching experience while also avoiding the risk of clicking ads.

As for the official twitter page of Roobet, you can just manually browse their signature or announcement thread. It maybe a cumbersome process to do, but it's the safest route in your arsenal to avoid fake accounts.

You can't just make Google give you a better browsing experience though and that sucks!
686  Other / Off-topic / Re: SMS phishing attack (smishing) on: February 12, 2023, 01:18:47 AM
Knowing this, you should also be able to turn off any related settings that automatically download media files when you are connected on the internet whether it is on WiFi or mobile data. Because sometimes there are instances where media files being sent is downloaded automatically without  you knowing it.

As for the settings, it depends on what SMS application you are using, so you might need a bit of exploration. Personally, I am using Signal as my default messaging app and was able to turn off "Media auto download".

And yeah, good job on not clicking random shits.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest casino property... on: February 11, 2023, 04:02:13 AM
No matter which way I think about that, I do not understand why the casino  personnel would be hostile to vistors/foreigners. Would that not mean losing a giant, perhaps even their main source of income? I have yet to meet a single casino which is hostile to anyone who wants to gamble their hard earned money. Roll Eyes
It was 2021 since my ex told me her experience in entering the casino. Apparently, based on a number of reviews posted on the tripadvisor website[1], it appears that the country's passport restrictions are still in place and that travelers are still reporting unpleasant and restrictive accommodations since last year.

With that experience of hers, I am thinking it has something to do with Singaporeans being racists[2].

Have you tried posting on their subreddit about your issue? You can also contact one of their subreddit representative[1] and it seems that account is active solving ticket issues. You might want to follow up your concerns there.

Apparently, by doing a quick search, it seems that there are some people experiencing delayed withdrawal issues and unresponsive support till now.

I wonder if they have enough data to make a comprehensive answer as to why there are people who are much more prone to gambling addiction than others.
I asked the bot and this is its answer.

Quote
- Genetics: Some studies have suggested that a tendency towards impulsive behavior and risk-taking may be inherited.....
- Environment: Social and cultural influences can play a role in shaping gambling behavior....
- Personality: Certain personality traits, such as impulsiveness, sensation-seeking, and poor impulse control, have been associated with an increased likelihood of gambling problems.
- Mental health conditions: Some individuals with mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, may be more susceptible to gambling problems as a way of self-medicating or coping with negative emotions.

If you're curious about how old the training data are, this article claims that OpenAI started using recent data in 2021[1]. And with a lot of research going on in the last few years about gambling, it can't be surprising that ChatGPT knows a general information about gambling addiction.

@Coin_trader

Bat di ka mag apply as merit source? Though alam ko naman na may pending pang proposal si crwth, pwede mo rin naman sundan? Isa pa, goods naman reputation mo both in local and international boards.

That's why they are building skyscraper, to get more room.
LOL! Am I the only one who sees a cruise ship on top of 3 skyscappers? I mean look at that boat like structure as if like it serves an emergency vehicle when Singapore gets flooded  Grin

My ex-girlfriend told me that you need a passport to enter the casino and that the majority of the personnel there are hostile to visitors/foreigners. As for me, that gives their casino, no matter how humungous or luxurious it is, a negative reputation.

693  Economy / Gambling / Re: Own a profitable gambling site. Looking for investors on: February 10, 2023, 06:30:59 AM
That's quite a lot.

With the current influx of bitcoin casino's in and out of the forum, I think it would be best lay out all the necessary information your casino have to ascertain whether your "profitable gambling site" have an edge among others. Listing only the number isn't something that an investor should only know. But hey, that's just me.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My ideals on how to promote Bitcoin in my locality on: February 10, 2023, 06:06:19 AM
With the numbers of churches and mosques that we have I know if Bitcoins is been enlightened to us through this regions then people will trust and believe in BTC, Bitcoin will surely go more far and spread wide with this ideas.
So you believe that the church, chastised for questionable financial practices such as using donations for personal gain or not being transparent about their finances, can contribute more to raising awareness about bitcoin? Anyone intelligent enough to understand the distinction between religion and finance will find this irritating.

Imagine hearing bitcoin referred to as the "coin chosen by God Almighty" — I'm sure I'd never want to talk about bitcoin ever again if that happens. Religion's only job is to spread gospel not some technical shit that they know nothing about.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features in Crypto Casinos for the Elderly on: February 09, 2023, 01:03:46 PM
Say to him that the difference between gambling on the internet and gambling on the physical/brick and mortar casino is that in  cryptocurrency gambling, their money can't be tangible while playing, which means that they will have a tendency to overspend their balance on a particular game without them noticing.

And of course, he has to learn how bitcoin wallet works first. You don't want your uncle to send and receive crypto on a different chains, do you?.
696  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Localbitcoins closing down on: February 09, 2023, 12:13:58 PM
I've also tried signing up and this is what their website said
Quote
Info! Signing up is temporarily disabled. Please try again later!

What's odd is that, upon accessing their website, there's a small banner that says "We're gradually renewing our website! Learn more about the latest changes and Give us feedback" as if like there's no service discontinue that will happen. Can't even find the announcement unless I type in service_closure/ on the url.  Huh

More importantly, I am pretty sure there's more to the story behind "crypto winter"
697  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|InstantWithraw| v3.0 Launched! on: February 09, 2023, 11:54:23 AM
I will ask them to do it if possible. Smiley Can you share more detail about what type of art we can ask for the blackjack.fun? I mean what should be the theme etc,
I can only offer suggestions. It could be an art competition of any form that incorporates the latest features of blackjack.fun, such as bonuses, rewards, and so on. Alternatively, it could be a character design for the personification of "Mr. Blackjack." Or it might be related to a global event, such as Valentine's Day. If blackjack.fun opts for the latter, I think having a mascot first for the gambling site would be a good idea.

Stay tuned and enjoy and support them to become one of the biggest crypto casino in the world Smiley
As for someone who became part of blackjack.fun's campaign, supporting them is a no brainer  Wink
698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can this forum be targetted? on: February 08, 2023, 01:25:25 PM
Maybe in other country like China? Apparently, they have a lot of websites being blocked[1]. There is also an instance where they block bitcointalk.org[2]

[1] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_websites_blocked_in_mainland_China
[2] https://cointelegraph.com/news/the-strange-case-of-bitcointalks-chinese-ban

Plus, bitcointalk is simply a place where people can freely exchange their ideas and knowledge -- nothing more. We don't even do some shitty and illicit activities that might cause website banning.

If that happens, it could simply mean that the world or any other countries oppose the idea of free speech.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone please explain Revoke dot Cash for me better? on: February 08, 2023, 12:53:15 PM
Imagine you have a physical wallet in which you keep the money your mother gave you as an allowance. However, you decided to purchase a video game from a store. So you seek permission, and eventually, they allow you with the condition that they monitor your expenditures!

The same concept applies to the ERC-20 allowance. It allows the holder of a specific token to authorize the exchange by another party.

As for the unlimited allowance, you basically give someone else complete authorization to spend as many tokens as they want without restrictions. It is like an open chest box that any malicious person can access and spend whatever that wallet contains.

Do note that this may happen only when there are vulnerabilities found in smart contracts.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: February 08, 2023, 12:09:04 PM
because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
If that is what your gut says, you are probably right.

Bounties, ICOs, or whatever shit you want to call it used to pay pretty well, but those days are long gone. Most likely, the things they tell you to do, like translating, spamming forums and social media, are a waste of your time and effort. You would be better off using your free time to develop technical skills that could lead to employment or perhaps a freelance job so you can DCA BTC.
