682  Local / Markt / [Verkocht] Antminer S3+ on: March 18, 2015, 10:19:30 AM
Mede bitcoiners,

683  Local / Markt / Re: Retro ★ Game ★ Trading ★ Selling ★ NL on: March 18, 2015, 09:39:16 AM

On a great note Cryptsy is considering adding DOGED in their next round of coins update.

On yet another great note ShapeShift.io is considering adding DOGED  Wink

Craptsy had it listed for quite some time now, this isn't new to my knowledge Smiley

Dead before it even started, wait, you can all borrow money at rates that aren't applicable to you state's balance, yet who cares, every citizin will have to pay for every mismaneged country, the whole idea was ridiculous and a farce, look at Scandinavia and UK go, they didn't need the Euro, yet their economy is far better....

I don't know about Scandinavia, but the UK economy is like the least dirty shirt in a pile of laundry. 'Far better' would be too strong a word IMO. It has one of the highest level of consumer (and government) debt in the world. At least the government has some control of it's currency.

Scandinavia is a very big area my friend, don't know which COUNTRY you referring to, but several countries in Scandinavia do FAR better then most countries in the EU, it's a fact, not really up for debate. Then there's the social programme's, which are far more sophisticated and expensive, yet they still have a better economy....
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Regulation The End For Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2015, 06:05:18 AM
I think that we had this discussion many times already here. Regulation is necessary for the future of bitcoin. We're currently lacking it.
I'm pretty sure that Andreas talked about this multiple times, you should look it up on the internet.

In any case, Bitcoin stays alive, legal or illegal.

Alive when illegal yes, but thriving, no, bitcoin value would be a fraction of what it is now, since alot of people get deterred when it's illigal, eventhough the current financial system creates more crime  Roll Eyes

690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EFL] Electronic Gulden | Christiaan Huygens wallet released on: March 17, 2015, 01:45:43 PM
Sorry guys but when showing pictures like this ( like some kids ) it wont help the coin.

I like anonymous, i share the idea's. BUT when u want a crypto grow up and get adult u need back up from the gouvernment. They are the 1 who decide ur coin will live or die. When showing pictures with a mask, u fail directly.
Guldencoin is not anonymous, guldencoin is not adult, guldencoin is just an coin like all the 1000k other coins. Sorry but those pictures with masks or a kid with a beard just shows this coin will not make it. Sorry to say guys

Everybody is wearing some kind of mask here. The name minerjoen is hiding more than the mask of anonylz.
Your opinion is apreciated though. I don't agree with your govenment opinion by the way. Crypto-coins do not need goverment support by design. Cryptocoins just exist because they represent freedom of choice, which should be the only reason why govenments exist themselves.

So keep wearing your mask minerjoen. Nobody asks you to take it of. Adulthood is a matter of time. With e-Gulden it happens 9 years from now, with Guldencoin 50.

Guldencoin 50, efl 9, due enlighten us in your prophecy, like any base for your statement Smiley

692  Economy / Collectibles / Re: casascius 2013 brass 0.5 and 1.0 individuals and sealed rolls on: March 17, 2015, 01:36:57 PM
If you just send it as normal mail, declare 20 dollar and state "sample" no-one will have to pay taxes. Also you're a private person, but you sell as a business, that's the problem... it's not gold or silver, it's brass....
If this is possible then I am interested in purchasing these coins aswell Smiley

It is worth taking into consideration who will be responsible if one of the  "$20 samples" get lost in the mail and is never delivered.
Unfortunately this do happen from time to time  Undecided

Buyer should bear with the risk then, I've done this multiple times and package has never been lost.

Exactly, if a choice was given sadly not. Also you all forget the fact that this has tax advantages for the seller, yet the buyer must feel the consequence... it's really not neccesary, I can only speak for the Netherlands, just recieved about 100 dollars in retro games from usa, not a penny.... And then last, it was never stated.... If a private person had send it, I would never had to pay 40 euro´s.

Also the fact that he knew that he would do it this way, which made it certain that I would have to pay VAT, he could have least be upfront about it and left me a choice, I would´ve waited for a seller in the EU then... Even a seller in the USA who send it as a private person would be a option, but not this...

And all the law abiding citizin´s here Smiley, bet you all register every single bitcoin you have to the state and pay taxes on them, o no, no-one does that  Roll Eyes Bitcoin is one big gray area, so I don't understand he chose the least preferrable way to send it Sad
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Unofficial) Litecoindark Thread (LTCD Dead-Officially) on: March 17, 2015, 05:56:48 AM
This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on March 20th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC

Also in feb, yet it's still there, we'll see...
694  Economy / Collectibles / Re: casascius 2013 brass 0.5 and 1.0 individuals and sealed rolls on: March 17, 2015, 05:53:10 AM
just want to point this previous post out as there seems to of been some confusion on a previous order

please be aware of your countries import taxes.

i feel marking them as valued at the sales price above face value is a fair assessment

from usps.gov by law the usps requires customs forms except for envelopes that meet the following

"The envelope must:

Be less than 3/4 inch thick
Weigh less than 16 oz
Contain only documents or letters"

i will not risk the coins being seized in customs by saying the package only contains documents and letters and i use varying packing methods but packages are often over 3/4ths of an inch thick just from padding

I'm interested in buying one.

Does anyone know if there is any VAT/additional costs with shipping to the Netherlands?

I ship from the US so anyone elsewhere i will have to fill out customs forms

the custom forms ask for a description and USD value

I've always written the USD value of the BTC charged over face value minus shipping cost

so in this case 0.3 BTC * ~$250 USD = ~$75 - the shipping cost

and brass collectable coin as the contents

have never had trouble but I am unsure about any extra costs you will have to take the above and research your individual country

If you just send it as normal mail, declare 20 dollar and state "sample" no-one will have to pay taxes. Also you're a private person, but you sell as a business, that's the problem... it's not gold or silver, it's brass....

OP updated, Mitchell added as new salesman for Silverwallets on Bitcointalk. Trusted guy, Dutch Moderator, done business with him and still am Smiley
696  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Official Seller] Silver Wallets - A New Kind of Physical Storage on: March 16, 2015, 11:22:55 AM
Hey Mitchell, I've updated the OP just now Smiley. I did notice that the order thread is still active. Maybe it needs lock to prevent confusion? Cool that you are the seller now, blazedout is trusted, but a forum staff member allways increases trust Smiley You can check out my thread here

697  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Physical Crypto Coins ★ All Physical Crypto Coin Suppliers ★ Community Thread ★ on: March 16, 2015, 11:18:06 AM
Was trying to build op some sort of collection, but got pretty stuck now.
Got a Kialara 2014, Crypto-imperator 2014, Unobtanium silver bar, Goxxed coin and a 2012 Brass keychain.

Now everything is either too expensive for me (in better words: too much for something I don't need) or shipping is mad expensive...

Not all are madly expensive, Criptoe, Silverwallets, Crypto Imperator to name a few Smiley But I see what you mean, too much Bitcoin that need to be stored cold, wish to spend and invest mine Smiley

I do think monero has a very solid basis, yet it remains so that allmost anything can be implemented in the blockchain. What protocol will win, who knows, curious to see which of the "dark" coins will survive and thrive.

Don't forget the Crypto Vault : Vault Coin!

www.mycryptovault.net

And a link to our official bitcointalk:

Really busy at the moment, will update it as soon as possible! Nice looking coins, quick question, do you assemble them your self or are they DIY
700  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2015 Kialara Labyrinth: Production Update on: March 13, 2015, 09:50:24 PM
This is why I would never redeem a Kialara, I would just sell it whole to someone willing to pay what I am looking for.

My thoughts exactly. Physical bitcoin in my view, is created to store bitcoin cold and secure for a LONG period of time, especially with coins as beautifull as Kialara's, the only thing missing would be precious metals, but then it would be insanely expensive Smiley
