681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 20, 2019, 05:44:19 PM
This was supposed to happen as we the bounty hunters just follow any trend like sheep because initially, hunters don't used to join those campaigns wherein the bounty pool was not good and then all those highly paying bounties turned out to be a scam hence by default users started assuming that the bounties offering high stakes are scams and scammers used it as their new tactics by offering lesser than average stakes to gain user's trust to join their campaigns.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP repeat last 2017 bull run? on: December 19, 2019, 06:25:16 PM
There is no doubt that XRP might repeat what it did in 2017 but I don't think it will last longer since they are centralized and they can control the demand and supply I'm order to manipulate the price. Even during the peak they just dumped it after pumping it by multiple folds I was one of the investor into XRP due to FOMO. I am sure they can repeat it again and once users see the price of XRP increasing they will invest again.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: December 19, 2019, 06:01:49 PM
I have filled my coffers with enough bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron as 2020 might not be a bearish year as we have halving coming up which might shoot up the value of bitcoin and this will definitely trigger the value of altcoins hence I have already invested into my selected altcoins like ETH and TRX. I just hope 2020 should not be same as 2018 and 2019.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: xrp to 28$ on: December 19, 2019, 05:35:49 PM
This sounds like a rumor or marketing tactics from XRP to attract more investors as it will take ages for XRP to reach that random figure of $28 because even during the bull run of 2017 at ATH Ripple cannot cross $4. Stay away from such predictions as they can go to any extend in order to make us buy their suggestions to pool in investmentsm
685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: December 19, 2019, 04:29:51 PM
pumps like 2017 are really expected to return, and maybe if the pump happens again it could have reached a new peak price. waiting is something that can be done right now because I also don't believe 100% that the coming year can provide pumps like 2017, but I am sure that price movements can improve in that year.

The bullish pump of 2017 was way beyond the expectation and exceeded it's limit wherein we got so many investors who continued to buy it when it was already at peak and then as expected we are going through a long bearish correction period and I am not sure if we could ever see any similar pump which we have witnessed back in 2017 as it was caused purely because of high emotions and FOMO when the market was good.
686  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards Recession? on: December 18, 2019, 06:27:03 PM
Are we heading towards recession like 2008 wherein people have cut down their spendings and companies are laying off their employees, we can see cost-cutting everywhere, is it really a recession or just the panic about an uncertain future which is creating a gloomy atmosphere everywhere?

A recession is long overdue. It’s going to happen eventually. It would not surprise me if next year the US stock market goes into a recession and bear market. However this may not be bad for Bitcoin. People tend to invest more in gold during a recession so maybe the same is true for Bitcoin.

Yes last time when we witnessed recession we didn't have any other option than gold but now we have crypto currency (bitcoin) and if we really go through recession then bitcoin will be choice for people to park their investment as recession just break havocs. If we look around there are wars and poverty everywhere which is a sign of recession.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 Bull Run Speculation. Which Coins Will Go Through The Roof? on: December 18, 2019, 06:19:07 PM
I would say none, at least none unless BTC also does. Currency bitcoin seems very bearish and it'd be almost impossible for any cryptocurrency to break above a bearish sentiment over bitcoin, especially provided that crypto market movements are so highly correlated.

Yes indeed there are no hopes that any altcoin will perform well and have pump until bitcoin's value increases and we have witnessed a lengthy bearish season and not sure when it will end. Most of us are suggesting this bearish market to end post bitcoin halving and we cannot predict much until halving and it's outcome.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins delist and Bitcoin only on: December 18, 2019, 06:08:24 PM
The obvious truth is that most altcoin are not trusted because they end up becoming scam projects and as such may be useless to the holders that explains why bitcoin is always chosen as a means of payment and settlement of debt. Altcoin could easily be delisted from an exchange but I haven't seen an exchange delisting bitcoin.

This is true to an extend but there are genuine and better altcoins as well and you can taken example of Ethereum, Litecoin and Tron just for your reference and I personally feel like coin is much better than bitcoin when it comes to payment transfer and this is based on real time experience.  We cannot term most of the altcoins as scams just because of recent projects which are turning out to be scams.
689  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Selling on: December 18, 2019, 05:54:06 PM
This is an usual phenomenon wherein most of us sell off bitcoin for vacations but this might be a dump from whales as well to make it look natural at this point of time and honestly we have no other option rather than either selling off and buy at lowest or to wait until market receivers.
690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to buy BTC or Gold? on: December 18, 2019, 05:47:44 PM
I think it's a good time to buy RIPPLE. it's the lowest price we've seen in forever!

Don't every try investing into Ripple as this is a trap from them to attract more investors because they are centralized and once the value starts pumping they will dump it all of a sudden by releasing more tokens into the market as it's not fixed.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 17, 2019, 06:00:40 PM
Bitcoin's will surely have good days ahead post halving but which will be the most valuable altcoin for 2020?  I vouch on Ethereum and Tron but I would like to know expert's opinion as it would help other members while choosing their altcoin investment as altcoin does pump along with bitcoin so those who cannot afford to invest into bitcoin can invest into altcoins.
692  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start earning BTC? on: December 17, 2019, 05:33:40 PM
I would suggest you to work harder and increase your account ranking in order to participate in bounty and start earning in case if you don't have enough money to directly invest into bitcoin. Once you choose a good bounty and they pay you then you will have some sort of funds to buy bitcoin.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for bounties on: December 17, 2019, 05:05:16 PM
Just head to the bounty section and filter out the bounties and shortlist one based on the whitepaper, development team, rewards and nature of the project. I don't think anyone can be 100% confident in referring the bounties at this point in time due to market situations wherein good bounties are unable to sustain post listing. I would suggest taking your own call when it comes to the bounty but make sure it's managed by a reputed bounty manager.

695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the right time to buy now? Or wait for a bit to go even lower? on: December 17, 2019, 04:31:10 PM
It’s possible that he’s right but earlier in the summer he thought that Bitcoin would potentially drop to around $1000 so I didn’t buy at $3200. Obviously it never dropped to $1000 so I should have gone all in at $3200.

You were not alone as I tried sold my bitcoin around the same value which I had purchased when the value started dropping down assuming it will pump but it dropped beyond the expectation only to pump up. I am into crypto for a long time still I made the same mistake, sometimes our emotions take better control of us but we need to learn from it and use it as an advantage.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: December 16, 2019, 05:17:03 PM
I'm not placing high expectation anymore with this kind of news because since 2018 early i've seen so many news that said bitcoin will reach 100k in the end of the year. But the price crashed and i was so upset. It was bitcoin price in 20k, and with the current price right now, reaching 100k in 1 year is almost impossbile except some miracle happen to cryptocurrency. touching 10k is already a blessing for me.

Even I am tired of hearing these unrealistic predictions by people who have no idea about the crypto and blind followers who cheer on these predictions. If we reach at least somewhere near $9-10 then it will be a big relief for us, but we have high hopes from the year 2020 due to bitcoin halving and even if the halving pumps up the price still it will not cross $20k mark.
697  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on? on: December 16, 2019, 04:34:26 PM
It isn't new. Haven't we seen this scenario last year? The moment we are expecting the bullish market, the opposite thing happens. It's easy to see a pump and dump but we can always dance with the market, considering every dump and pump an opportunity to buy and gain benefits. Don't worry, this bear market I think is the preparation for the big pump next year.

This is not new or unusual-looking at last two years but these frequent little fluctuations under the margin of $1000 is unusual which we have not seen in the past, if you would look back at last 6 months there has been frequent small amount of pump and dumps which is not as big as it was expected and I think this is something new which has been planned by whales and I feel it would be new coins which they would bet on in order to make it reach the top and play around because bitcoin is too large when it comes to volume and it's hard to manipulate bitcoin's value beyond certain extent.
698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: December 16, 2019, 04:22:57 PM
That's why its necessary to have a good stop loss and exit plan strategy once the price hits the ATH or the price range that you planned on cashing out, you should just do it and dont let a big dump wash away the profits you've made cause by the whales who are hurrying to liquidate their profits.
Especially, when in this current date a big move is coming this is really interesting times.

Yeah whales can't do anything if all the people are having a good trading strategy, placing a stop loss is always needed in crypto currency trading if we don't want to stuck in the whale's trap. Whales are getting richer because of the traders who eats their trap and FOMO in every condition but ended up loss or stuck and hold the loss coin for a long time.

We need to learn from our own mistakes as whales are just using same old tactics to earn more with a simple change as they used to dump all of a sudden by a huge margin to bring the market down in the past and used to pump the market, in the same manner, to make people invest due to FOMO and then cash out but nowadays they are dumping under the margin of $1,000 frequently which is followed by a slow gradual pump of another few hundred dollars then again they do a margin dump by doing a partial cashout. We need to fix our own margin and then trade accordingly in order to avoid losing our funds.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: December 16, 2019, 04:13:45 PM
Diversifying the portfolio is a good thing but the entry point for a trade is crucial. Right now there is no alt which is not affected by the fluctuation of Bitcoin, whenever we see a pump or dump there will be a difference in the prices of alts. So be careful before entering one of the altcoins.

Yes, we need to be very careful while choosing altcoins to invest and I would rather go for altcoins which has been there in the market and survived bearish market like Ethereum and TRN because ETH was almost tailing at $60 this year during the worst crypto bloodbath but managed to cross $150 again, TRON is an underrated coin which will explode at some point of time, does not require huge capital to invest into it. Hence it's better to go for reputed altcoins rather than experimenting with new ones but if you wanna take the risk then go for some new coins in DEX as they fluctuate too much and worth risking if you wanna start with a small amount.
700  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: December 13, 2019, 06:27:29 PM
Some brief thoughts on this subject:

I noticed that speculators often do a lot of speculating. With that said, is it possible to focus on speculating only, reading nothing else but all the speculating topics and then somehow becoming better at speculating than others?
bitcoin price who can not predict   make people do  speculation but it fine because people   make speculation   based on analysis by chart, demand and supply,  seen the history, check and follow the  event will come, etc... so no problem when you want to follow the their speculation but remember any risk of every speculation...

No this is not a justifiable explanation and it's so generic because everyone knows that the value of bitcoin and other crypto depends on demand and supply, anyone can use past results to predict but crypto market is highly volatile and does not follow the trend if that was the case then we would have had almost two more bull run by now. I think we just need to act as per the market situation and make trades based on present conditions without following any predictions.
