681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 13, 2021, 10:59:43 PM

At least he's interested in fighting and claims he could box Dillian Whyte by the end of the year. Hopefully that happens as I'd like to see him more active. I'm hoping Ngannou gets a fight in MMA soon and ends up in boxing because I'd like to see him against people like Fury, AJ and Wilder etc. Not much left for him in the UFC I don't think unless Jones is willing to fight him but he's not going to get the money he's asking for.
Even i would like to see Tyson Fury become more active, if not for the corona infection we would have seen the trilogy fight earlier and i am not sure what improvements Wilder  made this time but i have a feeling that since Tyson Fury is coming back from the infection he might not be that crisp like the second fight and Wilder can always catch anyone if the opponent is a bit slow.

Francis Ngannou after becoming the champion there is a fallout between Dana White and even if he wants to box i do not think Dana White will allow him to do another sport unless he retires or finish off their contract with the UFC.

If he can get full support from his family and he has the will power to change, then, high likely that he will achieve his change of lifestyle. He needs sheer determination to change, and I admire those people that can truly achieve their goals because that's too difficult for them.
If any addict is having will power they will not fall for these material things to begin with without thinking about the negative aspect of it. The people who fell to these levels are the one who think about making money in a short period of time and they usually end up loosing everything they have.

Exit strategy i important, even if you win in the beginning there will be a point when you start loosing and if you do not stop then you end up loosing further and i have seen countless number of players who gamble huge amounts end up loosing everything.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: September 13, 2021, 08:37:50 PM
~
I was wondering what's the betting odds for Silva KO's win in round 1? I'm sure it's bigger than x10 because we don't usually see this kind of early knockout in a fight where fighters have already aged, I was shocked by the outcome of the 2 fights, but it is what it is, maybe next time we'll be lucky.
Anderson Silva is a legit boxer and it was not a huge surprise that he could stop Tito Ortiz in one round as everyone who knew these fighters knows their skill level and the odds were not that high as you claim. I am not shocked at the outcome because Vitor Belfort always started fast and he always rushes and that is what got him the win as you cannot expect a 58 year old Evander Holyfield to be fast.
684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = 100k by December on: September 13, 2021, 06:55:40 PM
Those who are crypto predictors they know  very well and  predict  ultimately after few days later it happens. While predictors said that when the price of BTC was 12K, many predictors also said that Bitcoin would cross 50K, it seemed strange to us at that moment but the reality we deserve. So 100k is not so far.
Those are just fluke, even you can make a prediction and the price of Bitcoin will hit those valuation one day or the other. Have you seen anyone who could exactly predict when a market would rally and when the market would go into correction mode. It is not that easy to predict those exactly, you can have a reference on what the market could be looking at the general market situation, but not exact prediction.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shall We Hold Our Bitcoin Like Gollum? on: September 13, 2021, 06:39:13 PM
Many of us are hoarding more Bitcoins over time. That is also the reason why Bitcoin dropped sharply on exchanges
transactions in the past few years.
Will we sell out of Bitcoin one day? Like how the ring was thrown into volcanic lava.
What do you think people will be doing holding the coins till eternity. At some point everyone will be booking their profit when the price reaches their intended target. I am not going to hold as well, i already booked my profit a long back and the rest of the profit i do consider it as a bonus. Lets say even you have a target where you want to book your profit as you are not going to hold, be it hundred thousand or a million, even  you will be selling the coins  Tongue.
686  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Exchanges See Large Bitcoin Outflows BTC balance of Coinbase on: September 12, 2021, 09:59:54 PM
It may be because, if you check the past charts the month of September was not always great for the market throughout the years and people are smart enough not to hold their coins in exchanges if they are not trading or not having any plans to take any positions, i am sure that the coins will start coming in next month because the next two months will be huge for the market and that is my expectation and i am expecting another all time high valuation by November .
687  Economy / Economics / Re: people stop complain about economy and ccovid on: September 12, 2021, 09:34:53 PM
~
On the other hand, you can not constantly deal with endless complaints and in the end it is necessary to pull yourself together and understand the inexorable truth that life goes on and you need to try to find the very hope for tomorrow that will allow you to overcome all the difficulties that have come. Because COVID will eventually pass and the economy will start to recover back and still have to pick up the pieces of your life for the sake of something better in the future.
You need to take a look at the situation of normal business ventures when the government forced to shut them down, how do you think they are going to survive when their only mode of income is forced to shut down without knowing when they can resume their business. When yo have a situation like that then you will hear complaints from people because they are struggling to make both ends meet and on the other hand they are getting huge debt because they are not able to do anything and that is the sole reason we saw many protest around the world from merchants.

Let us assume that everything will be back to normal in the next two to three years, what about the business venture that are shut forever because they could not sustain and financially they are drained as well, what can the government do, i am sure they cannot do anything to support everyone who lost their jobs and it will take a very long time to see the recovery process.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can XRP Achieve $5? on: September 12, 2021, 08:35:01 PM
~
Ripple (XRP) is not new to the crypto market. This altcoin has started around the year 2012 so we can't say it is relatively new coin.

For me the some ways ripple could achieve that $5-value is when other bitcoin went bullish as most of the time altcoins are being dragged upwards when bitcoin's value increased. Huge adoption also could make XRP achieve that value that you asked. We can't surely say though.
For a coin that has unlimited amount of coins in circulation, $5 dollar is a huge value to achieve and the total market capital would surpass the rest of the coins that are on the top. ETH is another coin with similar circulation and hence their valuation is higher they are on the second position and there would be a time these coins will surpass the total market capital of Bitcoin simply because of the limited circulation of Bitcoin and the unlimited circulation of other coins.

These circumstance does not mean that they can achieve these crazy valuation in a short period of time. If there is a use case and many investors rally behind them then we might see a change in that situation.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i follow the moves of a successful trader??? on: September 12, 2021, 04:42:32 PM
If you want to be a successful trader, you must have some qualities. You need to have a good knowledge of the trading market. We have to analyze the market Must have a lot of good knowledge about signals. You have to understand every signal. Only then can you be considered a successful trader.
Even if you are not capable of studying all these signals and graphs, if you set your target to the basic then you can be a successful trader. I do not look at a graph and make my trading decisions. I know the support level and it is not that hard to understand the resistance level, just understand these basic things and then you are good to go in the market.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News: Ukraine has legalized Bitcoin on: September 12, 2021, 03:15:57 PM

Bitcoin is already legal in lots of countries. If you check Wikipedia you’re going to see that there are lots of countries there that are marked  as countries where Bitcoin is legal, and there are places also marked as where it is illegal. So, it’s already legal in lots of countries, But we are hoping for all those countries that have banned Bitcoin too make it legal and allow their citizens to start making use of it.
I think it is the other way around, there are countries that already came with a law to ban or accept them and then there are countries that are neutral to the new cryptocurrency market because they did not come up with a law to ban or accept them. If you look at the market, the majority does not have a legal framework and hence we can say that it is neutral towards the cryptocurrency market at present.

Although I know that banning Bitcoin or not doesn’t really stop people from making use of it, because people can still continue to make use of Bitcoin since it is decentralized and they can’t be traced. That’s why we have P2P websites or exchanges that will help people to carry out their transactions with Bitcoin without the government or anyone looking into it, and controlling it.
Users who are intelligent will always find a way to overcome restrictions and if there is a country that restricts them then they can trade from countries and platforms that accept them. In short it is impossible to restrict the market, the best they can do is to make things difficult.

I am not sure how this is going to be some sort of revenge. The England players are going to be replaced by other overseas players, and the IPL will go ahead as planned. The players themselves are going to lose fat paychecks. And the ECB as well, since they are supposed to receive 10% royalty payment for each player from the IPL board. And in the long run also, the franchises may prefer players from other countries, if the ECB has a history of making their national players unavailable for such franchise leagues.
This is not revenge, the players are tired of living in a bubble without seeing their wife and kids and there is a limit for everything and if the players are travelling for the IPL then they need to spend months to be back to normal and for those months they will be spending their time in a bubble and it will be taxing for themselves and i totally understand players making a choice of staying home and not go after the huge pack checks.
692  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: September 11, 2021, 11:56:25 PM

As far as I know, the only working way (at least from the bookmaker's side) is to look at the volume of bets. If the volume is sharply higher than the average for a regular match (we exclude top events), then such a match is often considered suspicious and bets are returned to all those who have already made them.
Have you came across that scenario where the bets you made were voided. I got bets getting voided but usually those are issues with the bookmaker and not because of manipulation and leaked outcomes. Even if there is corruption in sport you wont be knowing about it until years when there is an investigation that exposes them and by that time nothing changes in the bets you made.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: September 11, 2021, 10:55:46 PM
~
There is a confusion here. The confusion of Grace and luck. Most religion don’t even condone gambling. They discredit gambling and think of it as the work of the Devil. Because if more than half the religions forbids a certain thing, I think there’s something wrong about that thing. Some people might pray to their god or anything that they worship before playing a bet. If the the outcome comes out positive, they think their god answered their prayer and they keep doing that. Personally, that’s LUCK. It just naturally happened. But some will think you’re graced to win a certain bet or something. Gambling is a game of luck. Because most religion Prohibit on gambling so I think it is not a good thing.
What a bunch of bull crap, so you think gambling is bad because of your religion? I am not religious and i do not follow a like a herd and follow everything due to some bullshit crap written centuries ago. There is no such think as the devil or god to begin. Only people can behave like a devil or a god depending on their character. There are multiple forms of gambling and there are luck based and then there are skill based gambling. The choice is yours which one to select and there is multiple forms of gambling you can choose from.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: September 11, 2021, 10:23:07 PM
I fellas I have two questions to ask crypto experts and investors in this forum today

1. Is this a good time to build crypto portfolio?
In one word my answer would be no, you do not start building your portfolio when the market already rallied a lot. You need to make these decisions when the market is in a correction phase.

2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?
When it comes to percentage dip then you can expect the same percentage overall and that is what i am expecting during the bear run.

Now that crypto is gaining more investors day by day and crypto adoption is increasing massively I don't think that the next bear market will be crazily low like 2018/2019, what do you think?
There is no debate about more investors coming into the market and so is the reason we saw the price rallying to crazy highs but the bear market will be brutal as far as i see because all these investors are here to make a profit and they will cash out one way or the other.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake token in wallet on: September 11, 2021, 09:36:48 PM
If there's a stranger in our wallet, there are ways to verify it. We are not in an era where confirming legit ones to fakes ones doesn't have a method.
There are hackers sending out fake tokens which replicate legit ones and i have heard about many people falling for those scams as once you try to connect them to a DEX then you might be vulnerable to an attack. I am not sure about the facts because i usually neglect these strange tokens in my wallet.

Even we don't know the method, we have a large community to ask. Just create a thread at the right section then many will help here. Don't be afraid or be shy to ask about a problem. Fake tokens that are now in our wallets are not really harmful if we are vigilant.
All you need to look is the contract address and if they are not the contract address of the coin your are holding, it is a fake one and you do not need someone to help you in checking that.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC Want's Your Opinion? on: September 11, 2021, 07:28:03 PM
Would you rather have have 150 $ETH or dinner with Vitalik?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
What am i going to do with a dinner with Vitalik, i would rather have $100 in ETH rather than wasting my time over a dinner with a skinny dude. The only thing i would like to know is that when they are going to migrate the entire ETH to POS and will it be consistent without any mess up and how long users have to bear with the high transaction fees because i am really sick of the fees which i am paying now.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: September 11, 2021, 04:57:50 PM
~
Let's take Axie Infinity as an example. Many people, even not crypto-oriented or familiar with anything about crypto try to enter game and forced themselves to learn because of the play-to-earn- feature.
The NFTs are attracting new users to the cryptocurrency market and if you are a group mod it is a really hard time to make them understand how to purchase and safe guard them. It is a hell of a job to even make them understand because they have no idea about the market. When it comes to gaming yes there are many who are avid gamer's who will try their luck in this market.

The same will goes on Metaverse-based games that involve gambling features. Even a gambler is not familiar or having difficulty understanding the stuff about metaverse or NFTs, as long as they see more opportunities to earn here while doing gambling, they will do anything to learn it.

And no. It won't be a threat in the future for usual gambling because features are different.
It is not going to be a threat as the user demography is a bit different, who likes to collect art and does other gambling is different.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand that you are making a mistake? on: September 11, 2021, 12:02:37 AM
I won't make the same mistake over and over again.
if I've made a mistake once, why do I have to do it again ?,
I will leave it, maybe because of the current hype like meme coin and Shitcoin many people invest various coins but get nothing. don't have high expectations with these coins.
There are people who makes the same mistake multiple times. Suppose you are interested to enter the token market place where you can make a huge profit in a short period of time, you usually search for promising projects and if you like the team members and their project and then if you think that they could help in giving you the profit you will be investing in them. Most times your judgement wont be right and you will end up in a loss.

People keep doing that simply because the risk reward ratio is huge.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you protect your Bitcoin from market volatility? on: September 10, 2021, 09:34:34 PM
Market volatility is the part of cryptocurrency. Personally I'm holding 0.5 btc. I'm holding it for long time. I want a good profit from it. But sometimes i am going to confused about the price. When price started decreasing then i make my btc to stable coin USDT. I get a easy solution for it. And when i think that the price is seems like stable or would increase again then I'm again buy btc. By doing that i protect my btc from market volatility also most of the time i got profit by doing this act.
So you made 0.5 Bitcoin by playing around during the volatility in the market and if that is the case it is a huge accomplishment. For me i personally set a target considering the market situations and take my positions. If you are old enough in the market it is easier to understand the support and the resistance level and it is the best time to make a good profit by just playing along with the market and there were times i missed the boat because my calculations were wrong and it is part of the game.

Follow the basic principle of never to take positions in a panic, always think and make the calculations on the fly considering where the market would be and even if the market rallies after selling the coins, all you need is patience as the market will reach those levels one way or the other.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: September 10, 2021, 08:10:05 PM
~
Maybe you are right but the truth is that we can't consider the investment is a safe haven if we know how risky it was. if we just know that Bitcoin will reach $100k 1 or 2 years from now, that is absolutely we can consider it but we won't and that makes it so hard to think that we are totally safe plus the hackers around us.
This can be a heavily debatable topic because there is nothing like a safe heaven in any financial market. Everything works in a sine wave, you have the highs and you have the lows. The person who is able to manage these market movements will make money.

Lets say before the halving everyone had the opportunity to invest and it was certain that the market would go high and it was not rocket science either and if you invested well before that it was a safe heaven but right now you cannot invest and claim it to be a safe heaven as the entry is more important in any financial market.

When it comes to hackers, the hackers are not going to breach the blockchain technology, they can only manipulate the end user or steal the funds from exchanges, have you heard about any hacker cracking a wallet. So this worry for hackers is unnecessary. All you need is to learn how to safe guard your cryptocurrency and you are good to go.
