I want to understand and understand what technology is behind the Waves x platform ? What new does this platform offer?
If you look at the documents, it becomes clear that the platform was created in order to surpass the old official Waves in the speed and cheapness of transactions. Cheaper transactions? Are they not enough cheap as for now? Who will launch nodes in this case to support the network for a nothing reward? FOR SURE. however the scam is confirmed and the airdrop did not occur. |

@ roach, you really have nothing in your arguments regarding BTC fungibility vs PM's. Your claims are pure speculation that certain addresses will be blacklisted where miners won't touch it. That has not happened and it's not even close. Until an address or transaction is muted on the main chain or LN you're just spouting your own conspiracy theory Armageddon fears.
Regarding middlemen/ transaction validators:
I've personally been taxed many times after arriving in airports carrying non personal PM's. If I try to hide them or refuse to pay the tax, my physical PM's get confiscated. It's not possible to carry significant amounts of PM's abroad unless you figure out how to smuggle them in. There's just one example of a realized middleman for your physical PM's.
Today's commerce largely does not happen face to face with physical exchange and if I'm willing to travel to the merchant who is in another country, how will I avoid such middlemen. Do you suppose I should simply pay the tax on my PM's every time I fly?

Value of 1 billion Vostok is $120 million as the funding round implies.
If you have 5000 waves you will receive 1500 vostok (0.3 per 1 ratio). The value of those 1500 is only $180 where as 5000 waves at $2.55 per 2019-01-18 is worth nearly $13 000, so it's 1.5% on your supply.
Effect on waves price from this airdrop will be marginal.

Why WCT are so cheap when 1 wct = 10 Waves ? Community Token without real use. Now in Vostok its 1:1 airdrop ratio I mean 1 Wct = 1 Waves. But WCT is only 10% amount waves coins and was airdrop 1 wct for 10 waves in past. So WCT why not cost 10 x price 1 waves so 25$ each ? Because its like a spam tokens on waves no have any value.
Its sad for WCT holders so rare token origin from waves but useless and cheaper than source even exist amount only 10% amount waves.

Averaging the Waves and WCT balances for each address with daily snapshots is an interesting idea. This way we probably won't see a huge pump right before the airdrop-snapshot that is followed by a dump. yes, but it seems that only waves amount is averaged, not WCT. so WCT holdings will be those of march 31, and waves amount is more important for now and until that date. EDIT: also airdrop amount is 90 % waves |

As for me , you put the project in the frames . That's not correct. There were hundreds of scam projects that looked like ETH ICO or Dash ICO and so on. And after those scams you don't invest in masternode projects? This project has good potential and I don't understand such critic. Developers said that their product will be ready soon. EOS is achieving higher transactions per second throughput compared to other blockchains because they have sacrificed decentralization. Allegedly, Bitshares is claiming that their blockchain could perform 100k tps per second. eos should not be sacrificed decentralization. Bitshares blockchain can do 100k TPS but if it comes with decentralization then it will take lead on EOS for sure there are not only bitshares project in the market with that speed of transaction many other exist eth network also making upgrades this competition could be very tough for EOS major shift in policy, what were believing the ico subscribers ? for decentralization and scalability you should look also to waves. |
