Rebalancings are not so frequent, there has been some this month because a lot of movements in the markets, but usually there's only one rebalancing in 2-3 weeks. I follow a FA buy&hold strategy and I don't need to trade a lot to get good performances.  thank you, much clearer. |

I have asked jani on Reddit to track and publish this number daily - no response. It is a vital feature that needs to be incorporated into ICONOMI and OFM as soon as possible. Unrealized profit is a critical fundamental support factor for the daily ICN token value. There is gonna be something like that. remember that silver has industrial uses while gold is thezaurised : silver is consumed, while gold is preciously kept or manufactured for jewelry.
some specialists say that silver total ounces left available on earth are similar or less than gold ounces.
We are big believers in physical silver as well. It's possible that physical silver and bitcoin may be 2 of the top investments of our time. And we plan on riding both trends to its maximum potential... Silver + Bitcoin = SilverCoin. But that's just a side effect of what we are really aiming to do here. Why was the Chinese volume fake? Could you explain?
This article might help. Remember the fake volume was for bitcoin, not monero things have changed since this paper: the 3 main exchanges in china now apply a tax (i think 0.2 %) for each transaction, and margin trading has been slowed by authorities. |

Thanks for the links to the articles, guys. Nice reads, although I found the examples in Chris Horlacher's article for failed centralized blockchains a bit weak: IMO, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs quitting R3 and the "slowness" of Project Jasper are unlikely to be directly related to these being centralized blockchains. They could be and I clearly don't know the true reasons behind those, but I find it very unlikely.

I like the idea of selling bullion for silver coin, the pegging scenario is too fraught with difficulties, especially as you're giving it away ..
Yeah, this way we have the advantage of incorporating physical silver into the project without having the project defined/constrained by it. And while we do give out coins, they are only paid out for work done… so it’s not like we are giving them away freely. You could say silvercoin is more akin to a human proof of work vs computer POW. i would like to understand better this very interesting point investing through available silver coins for their silver content, and exchanged for "silvercoin" would constitute a killing IMHO; this allowing to completely avoid investing through FIAT; but not sure if it is the project. for now , silver price is low, but this will not eventually last. and also, remember digix dao launch. |

It's great news. There is a huge void right now in Chinese traders looking for what trading platform to use. ICONOMI doesn't have to compete with exchanges that charge zero fees anymore in the Chinese market. yes, the three main chinese exchanges charge now a tax of 0.2 % for each BTC transaction...not state tax, but amount collected for themselves; so it will facilitate other exchanges, and other cryptos... |
