701  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa na namang Bitcoin negative publicity on: June 13, 2023, 09:59:42 PM
702  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: June 13, 2023, 09:01:27 PM
1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?
2. What happens if it ever falls to zero?
1. Not that an expert but there's a possibility that it may fall at zero unless there's some reasonable amount of countries that bans it. If there are still countries that takes it as a commodity I don't think it will fall to zero. There should be a perfectly strong condition before it gets to that level and no one wants to use it anymore.
2. Well, it's game over of course for the whole cryptocurrency sphere unless there are some sort of individuals that will continue later on.

I think I get it when we thought of something that isn't yet fully established like what internet was like way back, there are lot of questions like this and most are just doubtful for a reason. Yet, we are reaping the rewards now from those geeks and believers who continue to believe. We can be those new geeks and believers now. WAGMI.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 13, 2023, 08:28:55 PM
I saw this online and thought maybe i should bring on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
I think it's a concern if that happens on an individual considering you should know it by hand that you'll lose or win in the first place while gambling. Having a remorse is perfectly normal but if it happens all the time even if you just lose a little that might need to seek a professional. It's normal if you lose big time and it will just fade over time.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 13, 2023, 01:12:06 PM
I also quite like KCP because the way he plays, in my opinion, often gives unexpected surprises that makes opposing players a little confused about taking action.

KCP is a good role player because he has matured and has a strong desire to win games. He also knows how to play defense, making his minutes on the floor highly productive, even if he struggles with his shooting at times. The Nuggets were fortunate to have him. If the Lakers had not traded him, he might have been able to contribute to their campaign last season.
KCP, Brown, and the rookie Braun made some tremendous help over that championship run. That rookie has something and I think he'll improve more in the Nuggets side. KCP steal in game 5 was a crucial thing because if he haven't get that it might be Butler's score and momentum will change phase again. Lakers will rebrand once again, they even trade their role players when they won that championship in the  bubble, how much more that they just reach the semifinals. Kinda frustrating tbh.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto experienced bloodshed on: June 10, 2023, 07:55:36 PM
What do you think of your friends to take advantage of situations like this, is it now the right time to buy a few coins?
Put your portfolio on stables or if you are trading make some short trades. I think DCA and not going all in is the best plan to do considering there is a real uncertainty goin on right now, until there's some clarity on the market I think it's really best to avoid or put them on stables. Alts will surely bleed right now so it's best to buy either Bitcoin, ETH, or stablecoins.
706  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Reminder] hey bitcoiners, Did you forget to read the updates on terms&policies? on: June 10, 2023, 02:15:05 PM
If I have money on that platform I will not surely miss those as I'm keen to follow them and for sure they'll make it a priority if there are changes on their T&C like on your email, or put it simply by giving that notification on their own platform. If your rarely visit platforms where your money is, you probably was just lazy that you just give it away. Yeah, the title was a bit of a click bait.
707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in BTC? on: June 10, 2023, 01:24:45 PM
Investing in bitcoin is something that can make us successful and rich people, many people have gotten simple things, they bought thousands of dollars when the price was below $ 1, and now they become millionaires only with patience and optimism, if we want to be successful like them then buy immediately even if only for a small value.
Yes if you sell at the top or you sold it thinking that at that level it was somewhat your vocabulary is saying that it is already a "rich" level. Saying patience is really easy, and being optimistic at all times is way too difficult, especially in times like this. Good for those who buy when it was still cheap or low and hold up until now or even in bear markets, they're worthy of commendation. I believe Bitcoin has still have a huge room for growth but it will test yourself to the fullest.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Apple Vision Pro and its Implication in Online Gambling on: June 10, 2023, 12:09:53 PM
I wonder what this means for the gambling industry, the gambling experience, and gambling addiction. I would like us to discuss this topic. Gambling with this device would make it feel like you are in a casino. I am pretty sure the experience would be out of this world - the visuals, the sounds, the overall feel. On the other hand, it seems that it could be easy for a gambler to lose track of time while using the device because the immersive experience might make it difficult to see or be aware of the time, leading to a potential increase in gambling addiction. The odds against the player won't change, only the experience. Please share your thoughts on this matter.
For gambling experience I think that will take some time before casinos would adopt to the tech, but not that long I guess. You would really lost track of time when you play with this but that will always depends on how you manage your time and you have other important things to do. On gambling addiction, I think the same way too that it may increase your risk.
709  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Stay Lowkey lang tayo on: June 10, 2023, 10:57:59 AM
I think kahit low-key ka pa o hindi if talagang may gustong gumawa ng masama talagang mangyayari yan. Well, may dahilan din naman talaga if overflex kana sa buhay mo, kaya mas maigi nalang na improve mo security ng bahay mo o hire nalang siguro ng bodyguard/s. I think sa kaso ni Miranda, pwedeng pinagplanohan ito bago pa man sumalakay yung may gawas, just my two cents.
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC Lawsuit Against Binance Is Likely To Hit Bitcoin Price on: June 10, 2023, 06:31:10 AM
Securities and Exchange Commission, popularly known as SEC, recently filled a lawsuit against Binance for violating federal securities laws. This made Bitcoin price declined by almost 5%, one hour after the allegation was filled as at june 5th.
That's how dumb people are when they associate others even if they aren't involve. That was the case here, SEC suing Binance and Coinbase should not really matter to Bitcoin's price at all tbh, but this fear keeps them and right now it even dump causing other alts to tank too. The thing with Binance and Coinbase is that they'll not pass this because they will stand with it. US having some crackdown yet in the EU they pass the MiCA bill and Asia is getting pro again specifically China, looks like SEC wants to hurt the US economy more from what it is now.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 09, 2023, 09:31:01 PM
It wasn't really all that shocking to see Nuggets get a win, if Miami can win at Denver (which is a lot harder due to altitude) then it is quite possible for Denver to win at Miami as well. One thing that was an issue last time around was that they let Jokic score instead of pass, they blocked his passing lanes and just gave him the chance to score, which he took and was efficient but it disrupted the play style they have as a team.

This time around they knew what they would face, so they let Jokic score as much as he could, and also unleashed Murray alongside him, instead of team ball it was just two players that abused all of Miami when they can. This changed their style and Miami had no defensive strategy for that, nothing they had ready at that moment at least.
It's really a monster duo and I don't know what might be their response after that loss but hoping Coach Spoelstra has one which I don't doubt as an experience coach. If Jokic make plays, it really translate for them to win and that's what they should stop him from doing. If this wouldn't be tied tonight at 2-2 then I'd say it will be over them for good at the Denver home court.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 09, 2023, 08:24:18 PM
I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.

How many of us are guilty of this?
Of course it's part of the process but it will not take days or weeks before you can control your emotions, you'll surely have these kinds of scenarios. I did my way in the past as well and mostly it was to chase losses but in the end this greediness just only lead to more losses until you're out of money to suck on your pocket.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: June 09, 2023, 02:15:13 PM
1. What will happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes a legal tender? Will they have a massive growth,or would people sell and jump into  Bitcoin?

2. What would happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes relatively stable( when it is fully mined and will solve its problem of price volatility)? Will alt coins survive the test of time? Will new alt coins be created later? What would become of the various countries'currencies, especially the Dollar (the global reserve currency) after Bitcoin's general acceptance?

3. If alt  coins survive in the next century what is the reason it would.

4. Should alt coins be traded rather than HODL?
1. I think altcoins will here to stay especially to those who really has use cases even when Bitcoin becomes a legal tender and accepted worldwide. Many will surely jump to Bitcoin but expecting for them to sell their altcoins is such a ridiculous idea especially if what you're holding is really a good project.
2. Ethereum will surely survive. Regarding countries currencies, even today dollar is failing how much more of those other currencies.
3. Easy access into the world of cryptocurrency, right now it's really hard especially to non-technical people.
4. Both for me
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There A Time That You Calculated All Your loses In One Year on: June 09, 2023, 12:19:37 PM
When I count all my losses on numbers and the lottery it's enough to buy a small parcel of a lot and build a bungalow type and we're just renting a room back then.

So I stopped counting my losses and just minimize my betting I just tried to be happy on the thought that I have good times betting and I enjoy the thrill.
Regrets aren't good but it will give you lessons especially on gambling. As you count those figures and you didn't ever had a good experience on it that will really hit some nerves of regrets and I think is not good for our mental health. Better let it go and just move on but take the lessons, it's really takes a long time before we realized this and that's normal, you'll never know that in the present because you'll never thought any regrets but just expectations that you might won over your bets.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 09, 2023, 09:06:32 AM
How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.
Well, you just don't need to go all in the next time you turn your profit into a huge one. The only one who can solve your problem is yourself but it doesn't just take overnight to get over with it, you need patience to yourself as well. I think you need a financial advisor if you still can't solve your problem, don't keep it all to yoursel, the thing with those who has problems is that they know it but they aren't seeking help to anyone especially an expert.

Another art contest from Roobet!
Check this one now and start thinking for the concept of your art.
It looks like Roobet and the whole team will start working on this every Month.  Grin
Those who missed the last contest have the chance now to participate, don’t miss this again.
Well, I think Roobet was ahead of what's coming that they advertise to be on decentraland. I think metaverse will come rocking again in the crypto sphere. If it's every month then these artists will surely love that, I'm trying to learn how to do some digital arts but it's really not that easy especially if you haven't had the tools, my laptop is kinda laggy and it's not good for use with the like of Adobe products. I think you JohnyZ will grab some cash again with your arts, I love those little sculptures of yours.
717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to use Rising Wedge Pattern?? on: June 08, 2023, 04:08:45 PM
What's the best pair of indicator for a rising wedge, is it RSI or just focus on the volume? I mean they could be both good but for you what would be the best pair just referring on your post considering it was the only indicator being used in this example. Or having a multiple indicators or confluence as per jeraldskie11 said? Thanks! Not that really good in these type of patterns plus  indicators.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 08, 2023, 02:25:23 PM
That Jokic game was even more impressive than I thought. The numbers were crazy, ya, but I didn’t realize this was the first 30/20/10 game in NBA Finals history. To do it against a defensive specialist like Bam too… Crazy. Jokic is really showing that he should have won the MVP. I hate that the voters always give guys the MVP before they deserve it and then snub them later when they do deserve it because they already got one (or two).
Jokic is already a GOAT without saying. Bam Adebayo was monster on that game too but it hasn't translated to a win even in their home court. I wonder now if they will let Herro play in game 4 but Martin was having a pretty decent minutes this game 3 but his stat really isn't that nice compare on what he played on the ECF. I think Jokic do really deserves that MVP if ever they finish this job with the Heat.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Algorand dead or can it recover? on: June 08, 2023, 12:12:05 PM
I hold Algorand and not sure if I should buy these low prices or just hold and accept its over ??

It is currently at its lowest price in 3 years and almost at its all time low.

The SEC labelling it a security has put a lot of fear into everyone.

Does it have a future or is it over?
Hold and accept that it will make new ATH. The SEC labelling is just a clown stuff and I think if they won't respond on the rulemaking petition from Coinbase then it's likely a personal thing that he's into anit-crypto. When Gary was still on MIT this wasn't his approach towards crypto, he's more like pro-crypto. Algorand has a future considering it's one of the top compliant for ISO 20022. DYOR!! The SEC suing big exchanges and labelling some crypto as security was likely a FUD.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management discussion on: June 08, 2023, 09:39:46 AM
Are using a fixed percentage on your bets or you are just betting random amount? Also do you deposit your total bankroll and just withdraw if you are on target profit or stop loss or you are just depositing exact amount of money for your gambling without extra.
I don't bet on fixed percentage because somehow what came into my mind is that if I will ever feel lucky the next bet I double or random to bet a huge amount. Always deposit and withdraw randomly and no fixed amount, I think it reminds me of using a bot on trading but gambling isn't like that.
