Is that the highest order number we've seen with a status change yet, #222X?

I'm in the #26XX's...  Hopefully it changes status soon!

just to let you know, my status changed real early today from paid to in progress:

saturn   ordered and paid june 18th     no. 23xx

Thanks dude -- hopefully tomorrow...
I'll update the KnC Shipping Log with your update. I'm close I have 1 at 27xx Smiley

ANY SATURNS IN THE WILD YET???

Today. staring out the window looking for UPS van.
Who said v0.92 was the BBQ version?? . me scared

Have a check on the KnC forum for what other people have shared about that and other issues. Easy enough to read what's on there as it's quiet and avoid or fix and problems Smiley
0.92 is bbq code. That's what the 2 people i know were running had the fires.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 02, 2013, 03:05:37 PM
Anyone have confirmation of Saturns being shipped or is it all Jupiters for now?

I packaged more than one Saturn for sure, and yes it's respect of queue order. Also, no rest for the wicked. A load of hosting should be coming online tonight. Which means I get to leave here, and get at least somewhat closer to my clothing that' been holidaying the last few days. At least I'll have a choice of clean stuff to wear...at somepoint. Sad
I am certainly going to send some btc to your tip jar when my stuff comes online, because your updates and packing skills certainly deserve some luv from the community. Thank you!

when knc is over with this hash attack the business model of maybe more than one competitor is history. hashfast, cointerra and all the others, that have no product to ship currently ----  you are screwed, aren´t you ?  Kiss
It likely will dry up future sales until they start shipping but both of the companies you listed have enough funds (preorders) to make it to delivery.  However if anyone pulls a BFL and falls on their face there is no ability to bring in more funding by extended preorders and upgrades.  My guess is both HF and Cointerra deliver.   I don't think every ASIC company today will still be here in 2015.   It is relatively easy to make a fortune when difficulty is low, demand is high and margins are 99.9% or higher.  As the difficulty skyrockets, demand falls and margins collapse not every company will make it.

Cointerra reeks of a future avalanche of excuses

but sure, I hope all my miner competition waste their money on them instead of getting real hashing miners.

LOL, I do, too. Throw more money to slick marketing and .... they still don't accept CC payments. Good option go for those guys.
705  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: October 01, 2013, 03:08:14 PM
I don't really get what the issue is here since they said from day 1 that they were going to mine as well. They're mining, or did, to test out a box. That's the big news? BFD.

honestly, the black haired guy looks not happy  Undecided

He's probably friggin tired

Agreed, you can see he has big eye rings from undersleeping and overdelivering.
Where's the dude with the whip? WORK HARDER!!!!!

I am blown away!  Grin Thanks for the fine reporting Bitcoinorama.

It's been 'hair-raising' so far! Grin
Thanks for taking the time to show us the behind the scenes of the operations. I am wicked jealous that you get to see all this at a really defining moment for them. It must be just awesome to be around all that excitement. Cheers!
708  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMiner REfusing refunds on: September 29, 2013, 02:01:26 PM
They had that lottery thing back in June and everyone that got in on that were told they were either day 1or 2. One of my orders is 2000 and I was told October for mine. That no refund shit is disturbing. I'm really sorry to hear that considering your circumstances. KnC needs to let us know good or bad what is going on. Sadly, the best info on crumbs of news comes from here not on their forum or on their website. Day 1 and 2 folks obviously are not getting their gear by tomorrow since no one has reported a tracking number yet. That just sucks hard for them.

I got the impression BFL is hardly even trying; they don't seem to work weekends, they don't even seem to make full use of their assembly space/stations by running shifts 24/7 so are presumably only using 1/3 to 1/2 the number of people in assembly as the space could fit if put to full use.

-MarkM-

Trust me! When BFL rids their backlog by the end of the year, give or take, they'll be free to dedicate their entire resources to only one line--the Monarch. And since they have learned from all pass mistakes, they're be no problem when them getting all the units pre-sold into the hands of their customs no later then the end of February as promised projected.

OTOH, KnC promised that all refunds will be honored up to the time of the item being shipped and I will cry fowl, like a free-ranged chicken, if they renege on that promise.

You sir are thoughly brainwashed...................BFL has NOT learned anything, except how guillable customers are  Roll Eyes

No love lost between Inaba and Phinnaeus...
That PG is gone. May he rest in peace, because he kept me in stitches with his posts. We need a best of PG. Those were some classic posts.

Ironically, the post in question was penned to keep you in stitches, but somehow it got lost in translation. Short of using the seven letter word starting with s and ending with m, did you notice the strikethrough on the word promise?

Thank god for that; sometimes when it seems everyone else has gone crazy, one starts to question one's own sanity...

Thanks Phinnaeus, for confirming to me that I've not gone off the deep end
He's still got it. I'm glad that you have some piece of mind now. That's worth more than what a bunch of tools say in the trollforums.

Aren't they testing the gear and populating it to your btc wallet? Has anyone noticed any additional coins in their wallet yet?
712  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMiner REfusing refunds on: September 26, 2013, 02:55:39 PM
Just eBay it then. You should make a decent profit since ppl are willing to pay lots of money for money printing machines.
713  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMiner REfusing refunds on: September 26, 2013, 02:00:21 PM
eh, proof? Do ou have some correspondence with them where they refused your refund. The gave some ppl refunds last week.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 23, 2013, 03:53:21 PM
We just have to wait and see if they deliver on time. I think they will. I believe they have clearly shown that they'll do whatever it takes to meet their deadlines. 527 pages in this thread is truly ridiculous. I believe the gentleman was right to question which would be higher the pages in this thread or the GH/s of a Jupiter. IMHO, Bitcoinorama is trying to be objective. I bought into KnC heavily partially due to his report way back. The other reasons were OrSoc and their customer service treated me like a human being unlike some of these other BS operations.
715  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL - Non Paypal/credit card orders. - Sorry for another BFL Thread on: September 21, 2013, 04:24:36 AM
If a lawyer approaches BFL with 50 clients and says we gonna court, BFL will ever pay up or fold up.

Yes there is a huge risk for the other customer here, there is risk, but I have personally excepted that this investment is lost unless I take action.

That is sooooo funny! Thank you for the laugh.

So you wanna talk speculation? So how fast is the Jupiter really going to be? What will the overclocking potential be like if they are actually pushing say 500GHs at a low clock speed? (I don't think 500GHs is wildly optimistic based on KNC's recent comments) Will overclocking be even more beneficial because of the extra baseline speed? Overclocking 15% on a 500GHs rig should yield 25% more speed increase than overclocking a 400GHs machine, right? 75GHs increase versus a 60GHs increase according to my simpleton math skills.

My money is on 600 GH/s
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 19, 2013, 01:54:20 AM
I'm beginning to question my own large November order I placed with KnC.  It sounds like they should've been even cheaper than $5K each based on all this talk of x amount of PH coming online.  I was hoping the red zone for 400GH-600GH was Feb 2014 but I think it is much sooner now.

I'm sure the responses will FUD the heck out of me wanting me to cancel...lol
I am holding off on Nov orders until I see what the impact is going to be. It's just business, so I understand where you are coming from. KnC said that they're going to open up some Oct slots from cancelled orders. I may jump on a few of those if I can catch it.

Thanks for answering my question even though it may have been covered before. I appreciate the advice and the detailed descriptions on the settings.

I tried the bot out for the 3 day trial period and ended up losing money on it. Has anyone had any success with it? I'm not sure to buy it or not. I have it on btc-e with 5 min frequency, short 10, long 25, buy 0.1, sell 0.25.
