701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we review 2019? Please leave few things you achieved or lost in crypto on: January 03, 2020, 03:31:51 PM
I didnt lose any crypto this year but managed after spending some to
increase my wallet amount through saving.

i have had the mindset that the last number of months are good times
to increase my holdings. there will be a time when we will look back
at the current values and wish we had aquired more, much the same
as we would like to travel back in time to 2009!

or 2011 (ltc) or 2013 (eth) or 2014 (dash)

You have a good mindsetting. I really like your strategies thank you for sharing your thoughts. I can apply that on my own. And I just wanna say that you are lucky because you dont lose money last year. Sad I lost some of my bitcoins and also my account because the admins in some of my forums tricked me. They banned my account and accused me of using multiple accounts even though I'm not. They didn't give me tha chance to withdraw my coins there and that incident is very traumatic for me.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: January 02, 2020, 03:55:01 PM
The risk in cryptocurrency is when you invest in a particular project and thereby receive risks from the investment. Most often, high-profitable projects that fall under such risks, which offer investors a profit of 120% or maybe even more.
That's right Smiley here in crypto world you're just like playing gambling, you have to take all the risk, you have to invest money and spend your time and effort here in all circumstances although we dont have any assurance whether we are going to be successful or unfortunately not. But as long as we gain benefits here all we have to do is to be patient and invest all the best we can.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: January 02, 2020, 09:46:10 AM
GlobalCoin is coming. What are your thoughts on this new Facebook-made altcoin? What have you heard about it?

Share your first impression!
I heard already about this facebook's bitcoin which is called libra. Mr. Mark Zuckerberg announce it last september 2019 and it will be launched next year. Everyone who heard about this coin is excited for this years launch. And Libra is  construct on an open source blockchain called the Libra Blockchain together with its own stake protocol.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin experience in 2019 on: January 02, 2020, 05:16:26 AM
Hey I'm back. haven't been on the forum for 1.5 yrs. Been on Twitter. But yeh 2019 was a good year for me in crypto.  1. I had too much in alt coins ,tron, and didn't gain much of it. My stack went all the way up. From btc. Then I saw my stack crashed down lol. It was amazing. But yeh still got a chunk back from hodling in 2017. I have been buying the whole year from 11k down. Little by little. I stayed for the 2020, 100k price well that didn't happen. Let's see the halvening now. Also stayed for the 1 million price prediction. I feel stocks is running n gunning at a good pace. But I'm still stacking satoshis.

Oh I felt so envious Sad because me? I have a not so good experience last 2019 here in crypto world because I lost some of my bitcoins in some forum. My account was hacked and I am very sad because my stack of btcs was still there and I wasn't able to withdraw all of it. I have a lot of btc there and I felt so sad and regretful because of that incident.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 - Set your Target and Make your Plans on: January 01, 2020, 08:07:08 PM
For those who own less than 1 Bitcoin, that illusive target of owning at least 1 could
potentially get harder in 2020. Today being the first day on the new year it is a good time
to set a goal and make plans on how we all propose to meet our targets.

Everyone knows that Bitcoin Halving is happening this year on or around the 14th of May
this obviously means that the amount of Bitcoin reward will be halved which in turn means
miners will have 50% less to sell to the markets. [decrease from 12.5 to 6.25 coins]

It has been debated to death already on how or if this will affect the value of Bitcoin but if we
take it that the value will rise and it doesnt have to be an astronomical figure it means that
whatever your target is now, it could be potentially harder to reach after the halving.

Here are some interesting statistics on the distribution of Bitcoins and through what wallets they reside.

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html

An interesting article has come to my attention which states an interesting statistic as follows:
owning and holding at least 0.28 BTC will mean that no more than 1% of the current world’s population can ever own more BTC than you

According to former product director for Google Steve Lee

"Throughout the next few years, the scarcity of Bitcoin will increase as more investors and institutions continue to accumulate the cryptocurrency,
which could further reduce the total possible number of individuals that can ever own one whole Bitcoin (1 BTC)."

Further Rerading > https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bitcoin-still-early-stage-hold-134600144.html?soc_src=community&soc_trk=wa&guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9jb25zZW50LnlhaG9vLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAMWPa1fWYPGHLfOuaqHc7TBUc5pPjfgElk5kZzcOeFIT0nv3dgGpDA3_eiajFlblMBVWraDzu7qhK9eLoEGZcb-B27QcmPahuCU4LAwQYdXAVY0kEvzjYW0x7_gmFpndLv5oj2kWkYqXDVsuX4ObbQAHUaX1HOs2YzcMjtP16PiJ

Actually I have my on plans and target for the next. My plan is to hoard a lot of altcoins in order for me to earn a lot in the halving season and my target is to earn so much because of the high value of altcoins that's why I am hoarding a lot. That is the best and smartest way of using your altcoins.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: January 01, 2020, 11:38:08 AM
Occasionally negative news about bitcoin comes from China. China or another country cannot declare bitcoin as the only currency. It can be a unit of value with bitcoin. States can accept bitcoin as a value store, such as gold or silver.
I think the country of china will accept cryptocurrency as their mode of payment. Because cryptocurrency us the best and easiest way to collect and transfer money. And I think china wants for what is the best and what is the easiest way. China is the most powerful and succesful country their country have a lot of transactions regarding their works and activity so I supposed that they will love to adopt the cryptocurrency.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube vs Crypto on: December 31, 2019, 02:14:52 PM
There sure are other platforms out there for hosting videos and streaming (Twitch, etc) if that's your thing that are likely more friendly towards crypto-related content, but the truth is none of them even come close to having the amount of traffic and hits as YouTube does. You're probably not going to experience much channel growth on other websites even if you're hosting your videos on a site that's very cryptocurrency focused.
Yes because youtube is the most popular and sophisticated site for viewing tutorials and videos and also for posting ads. And no other viewing site can beat youtube. Crypto and youtube needs each other that's why I know they will surely reconcile and the youtube company will make it up to crypto.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gifting satoshis to future generations on: December 31, 2019, 09:56:27 AM
technology will continue to develop over time. so if we give our baby satoshi bitcoin now and keep it in a hardware wallet. I'm afraid that in the future bitcoin hardware wallets are outdated and irrelevant to the technology of the time. 18 years is a long time I am also afraid that at that time bitcoin was not as valuable as it is now. I better sell Satoshi Bitcoin to buy gold jewelry for my baby.
Yes you are right. Saving satoshi as a gift is not highly recommended because we are not sure if how long the does the crypto currency lasts. Whether it will be legalized in the future or it will be banned by the governments because using crypto currencies has a lot of disadvantages that they may use as a reason for crypto currency to be removed.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin save U.S. from its rising national debt? on: December 31, 2019, 08:44:36 AM
Why Bitcoin should correct US errors, of course not, Bitcoin will not be able to slow down the bomb of the growing debt to the United States. Maybe if Bitcoin stands on a par with fiat, then it will play a role.
Honestly, I don't think that the US will be needing the bitcoin as an additional help for saving their country for their almost 22$ trillion debts because US is the most independet country and the US government can stand alone without calling for the help of other countries or even the crypto world. They have a lot of citizens who can contribute in paying their debts by collecting each and everyone's any kind of taxes.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: December 31, 2019, 06:22:42 AM
I found this quality topic on twitter and it all caught my attention. I have seen that fiat is the currency of the Government and Bitcoin is the currency of the people, Can the Government Crash? if so the people cannot Crash neither, because so many people are not making good business from the fiat than in bitcoin, which have provided so much job opportunities for users who are online. Fiat will be replaced soon by bitcoin.

Share your thoughts

Fiat in the best case scenario is a get poor slowly scheme but if the government makes many mistakes then it can quickly become a get poor quick scheme, we have seen this in many countries in the past and we will continue to see this in the future.

However I do not see fiat being replaced by bitcoin since that will require that governments all over the world admit they are not capable of creating a stable currency and they will never admit that especially with the huge power fiat currencies give to them.

Well if the government makes many mistakes, they have all the means to cover up for it and keep the current system running. Being rich or being poor doesn't depend on the system or the currency. It's the individual that would tell whether they'll be successful or not. Most rich people today came to where they are through hard work. Bitcoin promises a shortcut but you'd likely end up on the losing end if you look at it that way.
Yes I am agree with you. The fate of every person depends only on him or her. If he or she really wanted get rich he or she will have to work hard in order to be successful in life because even if you are a trader, you will not be successful someday if you are lazy co'z we all know that here in trading we can easily be rich in just a short limit of time if and only if we work hard and strive for succes.
711  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins- kita o lugi? on: December 27, 2019, 02:05:18 PM

715  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bullish time? on: December 25, 2019, 11:45:58 PM

716  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Earn ₿itcoins with your Photos on bmy.guide! 📷🖼️ WEEK 1 PAID! on: December 25, 2019, 09:23:53 PM

717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: December 25, 2019, 11:19:09 AM
China has not accepted google, youtube, facebook and other tech giants, and we think that they will accept a digial currency that will truly overpower there financial control over the country. I say there is one in million a chance for this. They may adopt centralized currency like XRP but not decentralized BTC.
I think they will gonna create their own blockchain, token and everything. There will be no possibility that they will accept bitcoin and other altcoin as well. But let us not conclude everything, not unless they will annouce it in the whole wide world that they will prohibits their citizen to use that.
718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it's so hard trading my day now! on: December 25, 2019, 08:53:41 AM
the more difficult my day on trading day, some speculation and predictions that I make are always wrong, and to get profit now it is very difficult for me to get it, are there any other ways and ideas for me to increase my trading, so that I can get a little benefit , please advise and input by the big traders here or those who have more experience in day trading?
It could be helpful if you will learn how to read charts and candlestick for you to have an idea on when will the coin will pump or just a tip, you will get more ideas whenn you read books, stream in youtube for trading tips, I could say this because it helps me a lot, I am not a professional trader but now the money that I am losing due to trading is lessen.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Your Privacy to ₿itcoin? on: December 25, 2019, 06:45:09 AM
Would you be willing to trade your location, name, and any other private and personal details over BTCitcoin? Yes? No? Why?
I know many of us have already submitted countless documents to various cryptocurrency exchanges just to pass their KYC process and comply with AML but how far would someone be willing to give up just to get a part of that precious BTCitcoin?
Its big NO for me, I can earn in another way , that is not needed that kind of thing, I would not exchange my identity for just money, because it can affect my whole life, and will destroy me, if that campaign is scam and not real, they can sell my info and the worst thing they can sell my identity for their own good, so its  NO for me.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Can I pay in Bitcoin here?" - go and ask this each time you pay something! on: December 23, 2019, 03:51:06 PM
Me and my friends go over to asking the staff every time we have to pay a bill somewhere at the checkout if we can pay with Bitcoin. Of course the answer is always no. We are much more concerned with raising awareness among the general public about cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin in particular. Because we often see that shortly after this question, employees tell their colleagues about this presence, and they will almost certainly do so at home.  A single question can reach dozens of people and Bitcoin is becoming more aware.

So: go out and invest those few seconds during each payment process to push the Bitcoin!
this could be great, atleast you give them the confusion of the terms that they aren't aware of, I can say that some of the businesses now are really unto bitcoin, they are planning to add bitcoin as one of the mode of payment, it will be like whatsapp pay, gcash(local wallet) , alipay and etc. Many people will start to buy to someones store once they accept bitcoin.
