about the new rule: if 8h seems manageable, we could lower it even further to 6h or even 4h. We'll see how it goes  12 is too much but 8h is fine because you don't make trades without thinking twice  less panic sell/buys  being able to enter the market and then exit the market 4hours later would be a big positive for me.
