I came close several times to investing in this.  Never pulled the trigger and glad I didn't.

One of my larger mistakes I will admit.

What does this value the operation at?

I actually picked close to 100 shares up at the last bottom of around 0.0018, pitty they did not avg out my losses on my larger portion of shares.

To make this a little more Interesting, If someone would like a 3 board KNC miner instead i also have one of these i would sell instead of the 4 board.

1549  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KnC jupiter or upgrade boards on: March 20, 2014, 04:16:58 PM
I am in the Netherlands, If you Fancy a weekend in Amsterdam you can collect in person.

I already have an offer of 4btc, you would need to go higher than that to be considered at this moment in time.

thanks!

ps. a post or so back i do say the shipping cost will be split with the buyer.
1550  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KnC jupiter or upgrade boards on: March 20, 2014, 04:00:22 PM
You wrong Sir, one board hash only 90-100Has, a lot peeps wrote about that here  Kiss

From the factory each board runs at about 140Gh/s so I have no idea where you ever got 90-100Gh/s from..

I think they thought i was talking about antminer boards running at 170GH, which was never said. anyway back to relavent information.

1. will shipping cost be included in the final price
A. I will ask the buyer to spit the shipping cost with me, it will be sent via DHL express, price depends on location

2. Is this an November machine
A. No, as mentioned in the OP it is an October model

Two people have said they would be interested in buying it, specifically for the knowledge of how to overclock them.....
You don't need to buy the machine to learn this, PM me and i can teach you via team viewer.

I have had an offer of 4btc, so i will wait and see where this goes.

1551  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KnC jupiter or upgrade boards on: March 20, 2014, 08:19:22 AM
Can you share the miner setup screenshot Huh

I have been asked to provide screenshots by an interested buyer, i will do this later on today, when i am near it, along with some pictures.
Just checking, you know i am talking about each KNC board performing at 170GH not antminer boards.

1 antminer = 2 boards at 90 - 100GH = 180 - 200GH
1 knc = 4 boards at 170GH = 680GH

Some questions ave been asked.

1. will PSU be included.
A. No, i am currenty using 2 very new 860w corsairs, these will be needed else where and it would add to the shipping weight.

2. Additonal cooling used?
A. Yes, extra cooling will be required, I am using 4 x 120mm case fans, these probably won't be included.

3. Are the machines plug and play?
A. No, each reset of the power wipes the settings added to enable over clocking. I will provide support via team viewer and teach the buyer the steps needed to do this, along with a simple written guide.

2 offers so far.

3.5btc shipped to uk

3.5btc shipped to canada

I have turned down both these offers, as i said i each board is pretty much the equivalent to 1 antminer.

Hello everyone!

I have a KnC jupiter up for offer today. Obviously i would like to sell it in one big lump, but i would be open to selling individual boards.
The jupiter is an October model, it is over clocked and is giving 670-680GH, this equates to 170GH per mining board.

1 x KnC control board
4 x KnC 28nm mining boards, included a heatsink, data and power cable.

please leave you offers or contact me via PM, please be realistic with your offers. each board is pretty much the equivalent to 1 ant miner.

thanks

... difficulty changes are already dropping, adding 20% to 33,720,959 GH/s every 14 days is becoming harder and harder.

This is true, but ASICMiner's gen3 worries me. They may give us a large difficulty spike in the very near future. I'm not too worried about the other manufacturers but Friedcat could be a problem. He's very good at what he does. The only mistake he made was underestimating how quickly the competition would catch up to him. That will likely be the last of the large difficulty increases though. I'm fairly certain that growth rates will drop off and become linear by mid-summer.

Again i would have to agree with you, FC does not do things by halfs or on the small scale, gen3 deployment is going to be big.
Their objective has always been to protect the network while turning a profit, after having several dealings with FC regarding distribution of hardware, i have to say i respect him a lot.

1559  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: March 20, 2014, 07:01:01 AM

I think selling this hardware is a mistake. If, by some miracle, we sell our current CoinTerra gear, what guarantees do we have that we'll have the rest of out CT hardware within three weeks. Will we have our new data center space with no hardware to put in it? For that matter, I'd also like to know the name of the data center we're moving to. I'd like to ask them why it took so long to get it sorted.

I happen to agree with this.

sadly we are not running the miners during their most profitable weeks though.

the future will not be based on the past though, difficulty changes are already dropping, adding 20% to 33,720,959 GH/s every 14 days is becoming harder and harder.

Since when did HashFast come into the picture. We are not seriously going to buy from them are we? Why has their been no motions for shareholders to vote on what we should do?

Scamlast are not worth considering, ignore their trolling. Garr, don't you dare buy any of thier crap.

I don't think we are going to have much luck selling none functional miners........ i know what i would be doing if i bought a miner from you via ebay and it did not work well.......

My advice would b e do not deal with ebay or paypal
