You wouod be surprised how many people stand in the que playing with their phone instead of counting thier change,  sorting notes or retrieving their card from their wallet/ hanbag &purse.

a simple push of a few huttons can bring up a qr reader

They are being too much cautious. Normal atm machines requires no hand/thumb impressions..haha.

Normal fiat bank run ATM's require the use of a card which has KYC regulations following it  around.

As much as I also want divs and a hashrate-meter... I believe information is held back to not disclose anything to the competition.

Or because FC has a small weener aka hashrate.

..... I have seen it all from you now. you have a big mouth aka a small penis.

Bitcoin ATM's are a scam to line the opperator pockets with 6% vommision. More than using a traditional currwncy exchange.

The procedure is hirrible to watch. .... teuat me i watched a man try and buy €10000 from a ATM, the painful process of him inserting all those notes..... atleast €8000 was in €10 notrs. Oh the cringe i got watching thia going on in a public coffee house.
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ATMs in London on: August 19, 2014, 09:27:07 AM
in my experience they can be costly, with about %5-7 commission ontop of say btc-e or bitstamp price

what should have been 425e ish if exchanged on kraken and deposited in my bank the next day got me an instant 399euro from a ATM machine. If i did not have an empty fiat wallet i would have waited till the next day.

They are also a bit of a pain to use in my experience. I have about 15 messages in verification codes from using this machine just twice, once i put in 200e and then it told me this was over the limit and my withdraw would be confirmed manually and to come back in 30-60mins once i had received a code via SMS, if in a hurry that could have been a real pain.

I then tried to get 100e so i could buy a beer while waiting, it then refunded the BTC and gave me no 100e, i first had to receive and enter several verification codes and go through the same stupid menus several times.

Also when the machine took my 100e worth, it didn't come up on screen saying the transaction could not be processed and was being refunded once a SMS verification was recieved. I was just left standing waiting for my 100e to come out when sddely i got a SMS with a code, had someone who was fimiliar with the ATM not been at the location, the actually staff and myself were a bit clueless.

Who hasn't cut his loose?

me. I use to go down with the ship since 2011 and always came back afloat richer. But I stay in crypto for other reasons too.

In the (extremely) unlikely event the ship will go down: so will I.

all in after some down swing trading

1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Collective will place 5 NEW ATM's in Amsterdam on: August 13, 2014, 11:37:06 AM
Amsterdam seems to be thriving at the moment. Is that 'bitcoin boulevard' there still going?

There has never been a "bitcoin boulevard" in Amsterdam as of yet.

Bitcoin Bolevard is active in The Hague, with a few other one day events in other towns. Not Amsterdam yet.
1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Collective will place 5 NEW ATM's in Amsterdam on: August 13, 2014, 07:15:31 AM

Still ugly! Cheesy

thanks for your criticism, that's just prototype one, batch production will be much more beautiful.

If they are strong enough to stack on each other, you are fine.

upload it to imgur and share the link using bbcode option

I don't think that set of pictures provides an answer to my question as ASICMiner's unit isn't plugged in and there is no controller in sight. I'm curious to know how many x24 boards the block erupter controller can handle.

sorry crazyguy. the full picture is not being displayed. at the bottom is a full unit setup and running with many wires coming out of it going to what looks like the controller. if this is so the boards are not daisy chained.

full picture, scroll down to bottom - http://shop.rockminer.com/goods.php?id=45
1157  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: August 05, 2014, 05:12:05 PM
Very cool! It appears the board has 2 data connectors. Are all 4 boards daisy-chained into one uart connector on the controller? If so, can 1 controller handle 3 T1 boxes?

I am going to say sadly not

1159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: August 05, 2014, 07:58:12 AM
On a side note, selling RM direct shares.
1160  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: August 05, 2014, 07:45:47 AM
Thank for the update. It's seems easily forgotten that behind our mining robots are simple human beings, pushing boundaries and making ideas happen. Rockminer was never going to be an overnight success financially but with some time and experience i really look forward to watching rockminer grow.

Great work so far team and don't feel embarrassed to come and address your shareholders, even with bad news, the truth is we invested in your idea belief and enthusiasm. I look forward to sharing the ride with you.
