Met two guys in town for the con.
I have met a lot of people and I even told that guy to his face what I am writing. He was the most arrogant, cocky and rude bitcoin user I have had the pleasure of meeting. Total bell end. Good luck folks the assholes are coming in force.

Why doea goat need to fund someone elses legal battle.

Why not do it himself. According to garret he never bought back Goats shares and he was just stirring the pot.

Why keep asking about the 28th contract + compensation which cointerra was contracted to deliver? We never received 28th, never close.

1345  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: May 04, 2014, 08:56:10 AM
I sold 3 knc machines totalling 2thps on tuesday juat passed. I sold them to my friend and contact at ICEDRILL.

I was paid 7.5btc for 2thps, I got a better deal than cog. You just gave our hashrate away for almost 50% of its value on the second hand market.

1346  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: May 04, 2014, 08:53:29 AM
Scammy & Scummy.

Financial report please, its not like you two do much else. Garret couldnt find the time to sort hosting, garret couldn't'nt find time to keep machines online, garret couldnt find time to keep financial reports.

What the hell was garrett doing that he had so little time for cognitive?
1347  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: May 04, 2014, 08:44:48 AM
Cointerra have no right to be paid for delivery until we receive our full contracted 28thps + compensation for lateness.

Is this just going to be ignored?

Where is Garrett's statement we were all told to wait for?

1348  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: May 04, 2014, 08:44:21 AM
Why with the compensations machines will our hashrate not meet 28thps + compensation for lateness?
1349  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: May 04, 2014, 08:44:03 AM
Who considers you trustworthy apart from garrett?

You have no community history and we don't know your background.

For garrett to say in future he will keep financials worries me, it means he will be back doing this again at some point.
1350  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: May 04, 2014, 08:42:41 AM
When will cointerra deliver the full contracted amount?

Several questions have just gone ignored.
1351  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: May 04, 2014, 08:41:33 AM

1355  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anybody work in a coffee shop in Amsterdam on: May 01, 2014, 11:59:54 PM
Thanks for info, gave me some food for thought.

What about other jobs over there, is there much un-skilled work about that pays enough to live off?

Main reason I was thinking budtender is because I know cannabis like the back of my hand and don't have many other skills.

There is always room for breeders or growers, it's just getting set up and establishing yourself.

1356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anybody work in a coffee shop in Amsterdam on: May 01, 2014, 11:23:06 PM
I don't think that's true, I've also been there a few times site seeing myself and have the ability to pick things up quick.

I believe to be a budtender all that is required is knowledge about cannabis and what strains would be best for the customers requirement whether it be for medical reasons or to just get high. I am starting to think it's going be hard to get though since it's a dream job for most stoners but then again do most stoners know much about cannabis.

You are over glorifying a job in the service industry, trust me I am passionate about cannabis and have been for many years and when i was younger i thought a CS job would be cool and a good use of my passion.

Since living here for 1.5 years i have watched many new BT's come and go, when they first arrive they are enthused in their jobs, eager to learn, happy to see boxes of weed, happy to talk to customers and try and make recommendations.

Almost always about 3 weeks into their job they have lost enthusiasm, they hate looking at the boxes of weed they cna't smoke and their boss makes a pretty penny from a 50% mark up
, they resent the tourists, they resent their regulars who can come in and afford supply, they resent their long boring hours of serving the same shit over and over again. recommending crap to tourist only to have them ignore you or question your choices, the hardest part for me would be recommending half the shit the coffeeshops sell as high grade weed, when in reality it is fresh unflushed commercial shit.

Basically it's not a great job, few stay passionate and the ones that are happy are normally the owners.

edit: saying that i have met a few who have been here a long time and are true honest people who loved their job, although no longer working due to their shop being closed during school hours now and due to close next year. Amsterdam is not the place it once was, many of the old faithful are moving ship to spain or USA.

I'm wanting to move to Amsterdam, thinking about buying a one-way ticket and getting a job in a coffee shop or something similar. Anyone got any advice or tips?

I live in A'dam and frequent coffeeshops(mainly to buy) on a daily basis. Do you speak multiple languages?

Do you have expereince in the service industry?

where are you from?

have you looked at the costs of living in A'dam, it is an expensive city?

Have you looked into the requirements needed to find employment here?

edit: also around 50-70 shops are set to close next year due to new government regulations regarding distance from a school.

1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin ATM in Amsterdam on: May 01, 2014, 12:52:09 PM
i 100% agree with you, but centralizing merchant adoption around bitpay and coinbase (any others?) is not a solution to the problem, it is just building a problem on top of a problem. Real merchant adoption of bitcoin can't happen until the price is more stable, which will probably be when people stop using Bitcoin as a store of value( i am guilty of this) and actually as a method of transacting online.
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 01, 2014, 12:41:01 PM
i was running most of my KnC boards completely out of the cases, with all boards in a line, kind of like the KNC facilty.

I just got 6 screws and bolts for each board, 4 to be used at legs and then 2 to hold the heattsinks tight to the board.

Whats all the confusion about, it's easy.
