I would say is an exchage going by the way the coins get moved in then out straight after, every transaction is like that.

so has someone just accumulated $500,000 dumping zeta over the last few days?

So who is the guy with 37,300,001 ZET? https://coinplorer.com/ZET/Addresses/0/Top

That seams an awful lot out of 160,000,000 total coins.

Sure he will tell you.

It was a rhetoric question. What I wanted to hint was that one person owning 23% of the total supply (or even more if he has more addresses) can't be really healthy for the coin's future.

I was doubtful if it was one person and not a pool or exchange cold wallet, but the address has been moving coins the last few days, many coins. 7.5mil yesterday out, this was probably the big dump on cryptsy? which if so this worries me slightly.

the bellow address pops up in there transaction list many many times.

https://coinplorer.com/ZET/Addresses/ZUGDRKbSFSpMccJ4VKnLoEsRqCT3T3hfHm.

the first ever deposit to the large holding address was the bellow transaction.

1/28/2014 10:36:33 AM (UTC)   ZGCHsbMRLdx68Jo9T1HvuqnWzuu5PzVMaB
 see tx
+ 1 ZET

then their has been a very steady stream of 50,000 zeta transactions getting added to the address.

1466  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: April 06, 2014, 07:00:19 AM
Bi confused reading the bellow, if i wanted to try and push higher than 291 what would i input? 2A1?

My November Jupiter is set at 291, as per the following line in cgminer.sh:

Code:
cmd=$(printf "0x86,0x%02X,0x02,0x91" $c)

Is there a list or chart of values somewhere (ie 0x02,0x91 = 291)? I have good temps (50-60C). How can I push it a bit higher? Thanks.

My list is below
291 would be 1050Mhz

2A comes after 29

Code:
SPEED     setting
700.0 1B1      372
712.5      382
725.0 1C1      392
737.5      3A2
750.0 1D1      3B2
762.5      3C2
775.0 1E1      3D2
787.5      3E2
800.0 1F1      3F2
812.5              402
825.0 201      412
837.5      422
850.0 211      432
862.5      442
875.0 221      452
887.5      462
900.0 231      472
912.5      482
925.0 241      492
937.5      4A2
950.0 251      4B2
962.5      4C2
975.0 261      4D2
987.5                4E2
1000 271      4F2

the formula is,
 take the first 2 digits,
convert to decimal (for decimal result),
 multiply by 25Mhz,
 add 25Mhz

EX:
29 hex is 41 decimal

25x41=1025
1025+25 = 1050Mhz clock

YMMV

i have bought ghs on cex.io. how can i setup miner to mine litecoins?

Goto the advanced settings page, keep scrolling right and the  click the pleb button, srypt will be enabled for you.

They got a button specifically for "plebs" now?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Grin Yeah i get cheeky when I've had a beer..... or maybe i was hung over, i know alcohol was involved though.

You have changed the vote question, garrett. The first vote was 'do we keep mining with cog or do we close down'. The next vote, 1 week later was 'does cog pay for hosting or do we close down'.

I voted yes to keep mining as long as you pay for hosting with personal funds, but to sell if the costs are on us. You have changed my vote into a yes...

You don't get to bring in receipts until the 2nd vote has finished! Use your april divs to pay those.

same here, my vote was only a YES if you continued to hold up your contractual agreement you set with your shareholders. You won't do that, so my vote is a NO, liquidate COG and be done with this mess.

Your vote is a sham, jsut like the mining company you pretend to run  Cheesy Grin

My guess is you know nothing about this coin, why would you motion to mine something you most likely know nothing about?

I vote no based on the coins value is built on holding.

Why not just one month, or even one difficulty cycle?

Disclosure: I know an individual in Chicago who is a large Unobtanium trader gambler.

fixed that for you.

Just because you know someone who chooses to gamble on a coins value does not mean we should also

disclosure: I was quite into my BTC gambling from 20/4/2011 - 12/2012, stopped when the market became to aggressive for me

Why not seek more profitable SHA-256 coins to mine?

Okay  Roll Eyes please choose which coin....

from a miners perspective, i would have no interest in buying a 1.2-1.6TH cointerra miner for $8000 when it consumes around 2.2KW or more, especially when spondoolies will be shipping in 3 weeks, 1.4th/1.2kw/$4999 and they are small compact machines that run trouble free. Not to mention asicminer/ rock miner.
1477  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 03, 2014, 06:41:44 PM
When you sell your share, you give up ownership. When you give up ownership you have no claim to your loss since it was self-inflicted. I don't see how giving your shares away to the new lucky owner is going to help you recover anything...

Who said anything about giving shares away? We are looking to liquidate COG's assets, which will result in the end of mining, hence no future value.
1478  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 03, 2014, 06:26:06 PM
the majority of the value i invested is gone, when i say majority i mean around 97% value lost. this is a car crash wreckage that needs to be scrapped.
1479  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 03, 2014, 06:18:15 PM
Soooo I thought the math was that the value of each share was ~0.02 or so. Looks like shares are selling at a discount...

...and everyone chill out over Garr especially Goat. I think he's trying to do his best to work with everyone. Why don't you comment when you have a legitimate question, not just running off your fear?

Is that you Werner? first post on the forum since registering in 2012, strange.
1480  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 03, 2014, 06:00:14 PM
I still am running them. They are in no way associated with Cognitive Mining and I am fully allowed to operate personal hardware in addition to Cognitive Mining's

That maybe so, but it was your responsibility to host CT machines for COG, i would ahte to learn you failed us and ran your HF machines instead, Electricity might not have been a factor.

edit: Oh and screwing Cog holders over by tring to piggy back our hosting along with a hashfast deal, where was our say in this? It is bad enough waiting on one ASIC manufacturer to deliver, but for some reason you involve the delivery time of a completely none related company put a spanner in our hosting...... great management and transparency!
