if they give 3000GH to me hosted i'll be happy, 13btc/3000 = 0.00434btc per GH if they give 4000GH to me hosted i'll be even happier 13btc/4000 = 0.00325 per GH based on a pretty static 25% increase, depending when delivered they may still be profitable. If it is in the next 2 weeks they could do quite well at 3THPS. the last few difficult changes have struggled to meet 25% apart from once. something is wrong cex, your system debits BTC from accounts which are not mining, fee taken for something not provided.

Regardless of its merit, that was quite funny I agree with ButterBread. Conversing with ones self is a sign of insanity, doing so in public could worry the simple. Still no resolution from cex

I find it hilarious you try and insult me yet you comment and don't even know the difference between activity and post count, some simple checking of facts before posting would have saved you the school boy error. Glad I could be the one to teach you something new today

I find it hilarious that Elasticband has over 300 posts. 90% of them are back to back one line replies in this thread.
I think you are confusing activity with post count more like about 1-2%. For valid reason i might add, at this point due to cex.io incompetence my mining shares have been offline for around 50 blocks, resulting in a loss of over 0.5btc. $630 is getting really old.....
|
|

actually the amount of earnings lost are based on downtime not luck, had the hardware been online there would be no lost earnings for either good luck or bad luck.

Thank you for your comments. As My colleague said - it is a matter of luck, if the blocks are found within the compensated time.
I will raise the compensation method we use to the upper management, maybe we can upgrade it.
Right now, we are focused to get our system up and running without bugs and the DCs to always have electricity.
I will make sure your ticket is resolved within the soonest possible time.
See you and your colleague are wrong, it's not a matter of luck and never should be. you bring luck into the equation by choosing how you deem and pay compensation. Cex.io provide a hasrate, surely it is your responsibility to keep this hashrate online? where is the Liability pertaining to the maintenance of the hashrate cex.io keep for it's users? If this hashrate goes offline cex.io should compensate for lost earnings of mining revenue not hashrate. Your compensations methods are inadequate and it's about time this was addressed and dealt with. Your hashrate may be fungible but the mining revenue itself is not

Never before we haven't leaved our customers without compensation, so at this time we're not going to do this too.
your compensation methods are inadequate, your support staff recognize this as they admit lost funds. this is not the first time this has happened and this is not the first time i have been compensated inadequately. when will you acknowledge that your compensation system does not work, compensating less earnings than what are lost due to your inability to maintain your hardware is not adequate compensation, understand? your inability to accept accountability astounds me at times, but hey you don't even have anything in the terms and conditions pertaining to liability for maintaining the hashrate they keep. You have lost some power which was able to do some amount of hash calculations. This was compensated with a power which was able to do even more hash calculations than you've lost. Whether these abilities were used or not — it is not up to us, because there is no any possible way to control amount of blocks that the pool will find over given time.
I personally understand you and I see that you really lost some funds from this, but our system did everything fine. If the luck parameter was much higher at the moment of compensation, you'd gain much more BTC income than you've lost, but this parameter is absolutely random.
Best Regards, Matthew, CEX.IO support

Hello everyone,
I apologize greatly for the late response. Garrett has been in San Francisco for the past few days, and I have been off the grid without internet.
We can make very little excuses for the low hash rate you have seen in the last few days. As before, the problem was a result of CT hardware that isn't working properly, combined with a lack of attention and quick response on our part. Garrett was focused on securing the new, cheap-power location. This is important, but of course so is keeping the hardware online. He should have been focused on both of these tasks. Garrett is very aware of his mistakes, and is committed to fixing all of this immediately.
In response to allegations that Garrett has been stealing from Cognitive: I can assure you that this is absolutely untrue. Mismanagement in some areas - perhaps yes. But stealing or any sort of criminal activity, absolutely not. While my word may mean very little to you, I can tell you that I have access to the shop where all the hardware currently resides, have helped with the setup of this hardware, and that all of this hardware has been hashing for Cognitive, and no one else.
It is our promise that Garrett and I will work our hardest to fix all of this as soon as possible.
- Samuel
can we meet Samuel? pictures or it didn't happen

Unless you have been intimately involved from the start, how can you know that with certainty?
At this point i would be very shocked if Sam and Garr are not just the same person... where is the proof, the transparency?

try buying over 4000GH and see if they can keep it online 2014-03-15 01:24:27 - time started downtime 2014-03-15 15:19:54 - time downtime ended 2014-03-16 02:41:31 - time downtime started 2014-03-16 05:44:38 - time downtime ended
