Certes 4 millions de dollars tu peux les depenser vite si tu achetes barraque de 200m2 a Paname + yacht et companie, mais il faut savoir garder les pieds sur terre, objectivement detenir 4 millions de dollars c'est etre riche, oui, meme si l'ideal pour moi est 15 millions, car rien qu'en en plaçant 10 sur un compte a 3% tu as un super salaire mensuel en ne branlant absolument rien.

Just tell me, how will it go to 500,000$ in less than 3 year? Do you or John Macafee see dreams? There is no way, I even doubt if it will reach 10 000 in 2020 year. It's not mother nature to happen something magically suddenly. For me every person who says that bitcoin will reach 100,000$ or something similar, is just dreamer who knows nothing about bitcoin and crypto world. Then if anyone believes btc will reach 500K, sell your house, get max loan and buy bitcoins immediately, you will be richer than current USA president.
Please be realistic guys..
10,000 by 2020 is perfectly reasonable and reachable if we look at the history of bitcoin, it is not a crazy prediction at all. 10,000 could very well be reached by 2019 I think. My guess is that Bitcoin will see its peak in two or three years, then many investors will sell at 10,000. Bitcoin should remain between 8000 and 10 000 for a while in 2019. |

Hi fairlay, Question how long will the https://old.fairlay.com/ be available for? and are we safe using that for now? Will it work just like it has in past? ty So far, so good. The old site is not great, but perfectly usable as long as you are not in a hurry. The new site...looks like a high school coding project to be honest. I used to tell people, "it's takes a bit to get used to, but the interface is fine." I just cannot say that with a straight face anymore. I would scrap it and start from scratch. Why not make it as easy to use as Matchbook? If you display +120, and the user clicks on +120, he should be getting +120 odds, not -120... The whole "ON" vs. "AGAINST" set-up is extremely counter-intuitive and unnecessary/redundant for sports wagering. I think that's because many beginners don't understand Back/Lay, and rather see the equivalent of a back bet when they place the bet. |

Can someone explain why the "odds against" have a "+" figure but then when you click it, it switches to "-" ? Also, is the number directly underneath the line the amount of mbtc available for betting? Hi. That is because you bet "against". I am not used to american odds, but basically, if you bet against an event, it means you are the "bookmaker" (the house), so this is the opposite of a normal bet you place at bet365 or 5dimes for instance. As explained earlier: Back (for) at odds of +200 is the equivalent of Lay (against) at -200. When you place a bet "against", Fairlay convert the odds to the equivalent of a back bet. |

The technical analysis sustained by most professional traders on bitcoin right now is that it was key to stay above the $3400 latest bottom as the closest resistance we had, because below that it was descent into hell. We were able to stay above that and don't cross the 300 day moving average which would have been very bad, through the weekend, and now that the market started becoming active with the start of the week, we are seeing massive bull pressure to break the $4100 key point. So keep an eye on that number if we cross it, get ready for another re-test of an all time high possible as soon as this week, which with due traction, could lead us to $6000 pretty easily.

I am anxious to see how the market will react to the November fork and if everything goes according to plan then we might see a rally ,there is a possibility of yet another split in the network and i am not sure how people will take that since we already saw a split earlier and how much support each gets are all factors to take into account predicting the future performance of bitcoin,so these are uncertain periods as the market could go either way.
In the long term i am sure it will break records but i am not sure about it in the short term.
As a long term investor, I do not worry too much but I confess this is hard not to look at the price every week, so last 2 weeks are a bit depressing. But mid term I am confident Btc gets back to 5000 dollars before January. |

People might not want to lock up their BTC until Jan 1st for only 7.6%. Fair enough. Depends on your strategy. I am extremely careful when betting with BTC (I feel like I am betting with gold!). This bet was the "safest" I found. I'll wait 3 months... not betting anymore anyway before the Australian Open in January. |

I'm trying to lay a bet against a team. The odds on the red lay bet button say 2.25. When I click on it, odds of 1.75 appear in the odds box. Why would I every want odds less than 2.00? I wouldn't even get my stake back if I won. Does that mean no lay bets are available?
I guess I'm asking how to lay a bet.
When I enter odds in the odds box of lay bet, as a maker/taker, the order doesn't get processed at the odds I entered.
Am I missing something here?
Are there any forum posts or resources that discuss this issue? I should be able to lay a bet at the odds similar to that posted on the red lay button, but it doesn't seem possible.
Hi tbone. You need to be aware of odds equivalences. Examples: Back @1.10 is the same as Lay @11.00 Back @1.50 is the same as Lay @3.00 Back @6.00 is the same as Lay @1.20 etc. |

I always do high betting on sports becasue it's make me feel like rich because i always win in sports betting. I would like to say that God with me that's why.
Yeah sure, well if you placed 10 bets lifetime it is possible. But you will end up losing in the long term (99% do). I recommend using Fairlay for short term success. If you start with 1 BTC, be happy that you won 0.2 and withdraw, that is my advice. |

In order for bitcoin to hit levels of $250,000+...... it will need to be accepted and marketed everywhere. So far, Microsoft accepts bitcoin. This could be the ice breaker and the door opener for other companies such as Apple, Sony, Google, etc down the road, eventually leading to retailers such as Walmart and franchise such as Mcdonalds.
In order for bitcoin to take off to levels that seem ridiculous right now, we will need to see the average Joe not only be holding bitcoin..... but also be spending it. (In this case, $250,000 could possibly be severely underestimated)
Agree, however my fear is that BTC is too complicated to understand for the "average Joe". But I am still confident it will grow high, regardless. |

Salut. Pas riche du tout. J'ai seulement 0.44 BTC acheté tout récemment au cours de 3000EUR. Malgré tout, meme si j'ai hésité l'an dernier a acheter au cours de 500 et je m'en mords les doigts, je me dis qu'il n'est pas trop tard pour autant d'en acheter, en visant un cours pourquoi a 6 chiffres un jour mais sur du long terme bien entendu. Je ne fais ni mining ni trading, je n'y connais rien en fait, donc c'est un petit investissement pour moi, que je ne considére pas trés risqué. Comme l'ont dit plusieurs personnes le but avant tout est de gagner de l'argent, la definition du mot "riche" varie beaucoup d'une personne a l'autre. Est-on riche avec 100 000 Euros? D'apres moi non mais les gens qui n'ont jamais eu + de 2000 Euros d'épargne diront que oui. Bonne chance a tous |
