741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is waves still unknown to most people ? on: February 24, 2019, 02:37:45 PM
Honestly speaking, I did not find any ICO issuing the waves tokens (whether good or scam.). ETH is well established before the announcement of the waves so it is not open market for them and they need to snatch the market. Might be they need to create something intuitive that ETH is missing and in demand by end user.
742  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play & invest - LTC competition started! on: February 24, 2019, 01:06:55 PM
Hi , I read in site that "invest in the bankroll", Is investment opportunity is still available? Is the limit is also same as mentioned in the site.

1mBtc or 2000 Doge or .1 LTC. (from the site)

yeah investment option is available for BTC/LTC/DOGE (Eth not yet available for public). minimum amounts to invest : btc 0.001, ltc 0.1, doge 2000.

Are you from yolodice team?
I also like to know how the profit is shared? Is it end of the day or week?
Can somebody provide the some kind of profit or loss stats, I am going to use leverage as 1. Is there any KYC required if I want to withdraw my investment.
743  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why you should avoid trading bot on: February 24, 2019, 11:11:32 AM
I think bot are mainly used for arbitage. Have you noticed  in an exchange the price of coin , even on different pair comes out same. You said bots do not have emotions or do not understand market sentiments. I guess this is good thing because you generally make loss in doing emotional trading.

Investing, starting with 50 coins:

What does you mean by 50 coins? I checked in site it says 10 mBtc as a minimum investment.
I saw in last chart you did not created the profit chart for doge coin. Are you not accepting Doge coin now?

Very first day of your Service announcement and your site is not accessible. Not a good sign for your service.
What compensation you are willing to pay for journalist and guest writers?
747  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do these currency changes exist? on: February 24, 2019, 05:31:25 AM

With so many legit exchanges in the world, why would the unofficial ones exist?

1. Binance
2. Cex.io

etc.

They might be good but they will not serve your purpose if you are doing a transaction for a few bucks only. They have deposit limit . withdraw limits and top of it you need to follow their rules.
In Currency exchange board , I guess you can get flexibility and negotiate the terms and conditions.
748  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Experts Needed on: February 24, 2019, 04:39:49 AM

Please don't waste my time if you don't. Please only genuine people

If you are so serious about not wasting anybody time then you should know that you should.
1. Post in the correct board i.e "Service Discussion"
2.Mention your requirement clearly (Like year of experience, previous work ex., Commitment for no. of hours per week/per day)
3.Compensation you are willing to offer.
4. An alternate email/method apart from this forum. (you are newbie , you will not be able to send pm everybody.)
5. A brief synopsis of your project. (Like gaming project, exchange project etc.)
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to replace fiat on: February 24, 2019, 04:25:01 AM
Will any government will readily agree for this? I do not think any government will scrap their own currency and will gladly start accepting bitcoins.
Both are going to co exist because user will like the "freedom" and  "anonymous" character of BTC and will continue to use it.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Software will eat Banking on: February 24, 2019, 04:17:57 AM
I did not get your heading, Do you want to say that crypto will eat banking?
I will say no. There are various activities like loan and mortgages for which you need to go to bank apart from your usual daily stuff. Only change I see that bank may start dealing in cryptos but they will definitely stay.
751  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Trivia on: February 24, 2019, 03:51:11 AM
I have a question, well i am not really into mining and i dont know what is going to be there.

All i know that mining a coin will get you earned on the transaction fee, If then why they mined so many BTC that time if there are no transaction happening.
If theres any only a few one; sorry really dont know!

I am wondering that you did not know anything about block rewards or block rewards halving?
You can mine the block even it has no transaction in it. When Network was started the block reward was BTC50. Currently it is  BTC12.5

Block Rewards
752  Other / Meta / Re: ★ Proposal for a warning message on Announcements(Altcoins) board ★ on: February 24, 2019, 02:59:47 AM
I also make the same proposal earlier and I personally believe that a warning message should be there. But below is the response of Welsh merited by mprep.

I'm all for helping the community, but I'm not prepared to spoon feed anyone, and I'm not sure if a sticky thread is required. Anyone investing their time/money in altcoins should already know the risks associated with them. It should go without saying that a public forum such as Bitcointalk where anyone can post an announcement thread that none of them are endorsed by Bitcointalk. Except for Howeycoins of course Wink

I'm sure most serious users who care about the projects, and where their money is going will search up the project via the scam accusations thread as well as finding public information about them through a search engine. Maybe, mprep will disagree, and think we need something like this as a sticky thread. Just looked at Coolcryptovator thread, and rewarded it some merit. Maybe, something like that could be added to a sticky, but I like the fact that most stickies are about moderation, and not guides on how to invest, and to do research. Howeycoins kind of acts as a "live" way of doing it. It acts as a real coin, and then shows you the risks associated with altcoins as it deceives you by appearing to be a real coin.

Having looked at Coolcryptovators thread I wouldn't be completely against something like that being added as a sticky thread.

Let see, if your topic is able to bring any change Smiley
753  Other / Meta / Re: A Hope for the Progress of this Forum on: February 24, 2019, 02:46:23 AM
Screw KYC.

I agree. If you ask me KYC today then I like to see the KYC of the satoshi first.

Why should KYC should not be implemented?
All bitcoin transactions are in public domain and open to all. Do you have any idea how much attack it can bring to this (legal or hacking attempts) to this forum just to get the KYC docs of leading escrows or wealthy wallets.

You come 4th on my Google Homepage. I checked from India.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: House bills would revisit regulation of cryptocurrencies on: February 23, 2019, 06:58:55 PM
Interestingly, I did not find this news in coindesk as you already mentioned in OP.

But if cryto-press is not giving weightage to this news than how it affected the crypto market? I believe  this news might have no effect as majority is not aware of it.
756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to use Visa PrePaid to deposit without uploading ID on: February 23, 2019, 06:04:38 PM
I haven't used purse.io but I guess it can be also a good option if you belong to USA, Canada, UK and Japan.
You can convert your Amazon giftcards into bitcoins on upto 5 to 30% premium.
757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is our crypto really safe? on: February 23, 2019, 04:31:05 PM
I wouldn't complicate things too much. Are you married? Do you trust your wife, your kids, parents or other family members? Show them where they can find the private keys to your wallets or the needed passwords, pin numbers in case something happens to you. No need to have it go through a lawyer, timelock or other mechanisms. If you don't trust those closest to you and think you will get screwed over by them, then you shouldn't care what will happen to your investments either.

I will still prefer timelock or dead man switch.

It is not like that I am not trusting but I do not want to expose my private key to anybody else. Actually I will like to create a single wallet and private key for her and multiple wallet for me. All will transfer their balance on different year to that wallet.

(I think Social engineering is more dangerous than Phishing/viruses)

758  Other / Meta / Re: Why newbie able to create poll but can't submit vote ? on: February 23, 2019, 03:50:24 PM
Simple. Do not allow newbie to vote in poll because somebody can create a tons of shill accounts to manipulate/vote in poll.

Why allow them to create a poll?
If they want some opinion, they are free to get it.
759  Other / Meta / Re: Voice chat with members on: February 23, 2019, 02:48:34 PM
It seems a good start to me, but you should try creating a thread about it and let people post a POA (proof of authentication) in the thread with connected discord account. This will at least avoid scammer entering and ruine the conversation. I am saying this as you mentioned about following Bitcointalk rules in the welcome message.

Already one user with  username "Account Seller" already joined the community. Should w restrict the registrations based on some criteria?
Do we need to add local languages also?
Should we create sub board also?

Let see for a month how many people register and active there.
760  Economy / Reputation / Re: Abuse due to revenge? on: February 23, 2019, 01:04:01 AM
I am interested your opinions and ways to protect against such abuses.

I think you should keep an eye on your wallet. If you are receiving extra token then you need to become cautious.
Do not participate in shit bounties (I assume people do not mind to send shit tokens to frame but they are not going to spend a good amount of money to frame others.)
As mikeywith already said, if you are genuine and truthful you might get the help also.
