741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: November 24, 2017, 07:27:20 AM
I could agree more that in gambling we just play for fun and entertainment. Although it also requires a ton of patience and discipline in terms of controlling yourself and emotions to not bet more than you can just afford to lose.

Ton of patience to control yourself? this is probably by far the worse thing that I ever read. You can control it right away but some people choose to let their greed take over. Sometimes people know that they should stop but they dont stop, they keep saying to themselves that they could win if they try for few more rounds but that ended up badly
yeah there's no good ending when you have become an addict . you would always feel get frustated even though you have got some profit previously . there's no right time to quit as you would always play until you have nothing valueable anymore to stake. the high confidence feeling in gambling would only lead you into a bigger loss and addicted. next bet would be your lucky time , next bet would make you have bigger profit and on and on keep thinking like that.
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: November 24, 2017, 07:17:33 AM
Don't you think price would have been at 10K by now if China were still catering BTC?

When China announce about their BTC bann on exchanges, the price  had terribly plunged down in a day.  If were to add up the amount of USD from china, its price would have been more than 10K. But we're not dead though.

Yes the price probably would be comfortably above 10k by now but that the price has still increased tremendously without China and that alone shows that we do not need them for BTC to survive.
china are the most contributed bitcoin mining , that's why people talking about how huge their influence in bitcoin . more than 10 big bitcoin mining pools are chinese pools. no wonder we think bitcoin might could die burned down without them as they are so dominant. the headlines everywhere about this are so misleading , actually they are still in action , it's just the matter of government regulation about bitcoin exchanges.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: November 24, 2017, 07:05:25 AM
I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?

To me I think the first things that i would always look at forst is the reviews anout that site and if I want to make another look i would have to see how it works if the deal is too good to be true then I immediately have second thoughts about it

50% of the feedback and reviews of gambling was a fraud, Sometimes, they are just paying people to review a positive feedback about their site and sometimes negative review are the product of competitor in their market so never trust other people review. The best way is to try it for yourself but never invest a huge amount of money that you can't afford to lose then observe carefully all the functionality and as well as what kind of players does that casino have. Usually, Casino has a community forum where players are discussing the casino. You can join their conversation and ask your queries. This is my way of finding a good casino because I usually stay in one casino only at a time just like having a partner in real life.  Grin
yeah if you look at the site where ads placed everywhere you might shouldn't consider all of the reviews as a legit one , they are getting paid to shows such that exaggerated reviews , better to ask directly to someone you know that close enough with you and then take it as a serious consideration before even you start to give a shot on it.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: November 23, 2017, 08:39:45 AM
Bitcoin security comes  with individual safety. The fiat banking system (USD, Euro, etc) is like a walled garden. Not much can happen to your money in normal every-day use and your bank is responsible for the security of your funds. If something goes wrong you can usually call someone to fix the issue or even initiate a charge-back. The average bitcoin user is not used to this radical shift in responsibility and as a result a lot of money can be lost by simple mistakes. And there is no one you can call to have it fixed. In a nutshell, you are your own bank.
things make those newcomer think that bitcoin are not secure are because of there's a lot of case where bitcoin user lost their access to their wallet or a case where a big exchange hacked and lost millions of dollars. actually it's about how the media provide a misleading information. bitcoin generally could be considered as the most secure financial system comared to any other financial system like bank for example.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: November 23, 2017, 08:22:45 AM
Well no time to be regret about not believing to it way back then. The thing is i'm now doing bitcoin thus forget the negativity and just focused in it. We cannot do about the past but we can do for our present that will lead to our future good life.  May the force be with us! Wink
thats right, i think rather than continue to regret what has happened better focus on what will happen mate, you know that bitcoin prices will continue to grow and why do not you try to forget your sadness and do real actions like buying and collecting bitcoin? it will be better,,
keep regretting and remembering what you have done in the past , it wouldn't give you anything . i was once bought several bitcoin very cheap in the mid of 2013 while it has $50 value and sell it immediately once near doubled to $100 , imagine things in the past really won't help you to achieve good things in the future . let's moving on and start a new faith.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: November 23, 2017, 08:01:55 AM
To win in gambling not only maths will help you have to apply on the right timing and at the right move. Otherwise maths has no use in gambling to win. To win in gambling along with maths smartness and the strategic move only lead you to win.
maths doesn't have much of use in gambling it can help us sometimes to predict the roll but
the most and only important thing in gambling is luck if you dont have any luck you will never
be able to make any profit
In my opinion, gambling is all about mathematics because you could get all the data that was done before you bet. If you watch it, it could help you predict a better bet with it using math, but you really need to work on it because it's hard to do that and you need to be really inclined to math if you want. It could be a strategy of some sorts as long as it's legal.
if you learn about probability and statistics in mathematics you might could find it easily that gambling would only make the players suffering for long time instead win over it. the only way can assure you to keep get a steady profit in gambling are by cheating , exploiting and any other illegal things there. other than that i just believe it's near impossible.
That's true because there is an addition to the house edge and in the long run, that would kill your balance over. If you want to make a profit from it then you should limit yourself, like when you reach this certain amount you will stop, it's either green or red. In the end, it's you who will be in control of it, not anyone. You should be stronger than the evils around you.
there's nothing to do with the set a limit could bring you a teady income/profit , you would remain poor against the great house edge in the long run . if there's the greatest famous mathematicians and statisticians like pythagoras or someone greater than them in modern probability theory they might get into gambling industry. but none of them nowadays do it right? which means math can only help the casino to win not to help the player.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 07:19:37 AM
I'm truly hoping that the fees can be brought down again somewhere near where they used to be, and hopefully the network will be able to handle more transactions at the same time as well.

I think bitcoin has become such a great store of value mainly because of it's early success as a currency.  If people stop transacting with it and just hold it altogether...I don't think that is necessarily good for bitcoin long term.

Not trying to spread FUD as I am a long term Bitcoiner...just making an observation
that's what make some people trying to fork bitcoin , increase the block size so the fee could be more cheaper lower than what currently happening , it's really make us to think that bitcoin are not fit anymore as a currency that have to spend in daily basis due high fee problem make things are not worth. i personally afraid about what happening nowadays where people keep buying but just hold it on.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: November 23, 2017, 07:06:22 AM
because its the fastest way to double your coins or loose everything  Grin

This is funny but it's true... I would add also the fact that its because they love dice. Its person has their own interests and makes choices based on those.

Dice game no need for any skills to start playing so many people choose this game to gamble.

According to my knowledge, every gambler first tries to play Dice game the reason everyone knows it is easy to play, and anybody can understand this game rule. Another thing is we can play this game with a very small amount, and if we have good luck, we can make a good profit from that small amount that is why people love this game.
Oh, that would be great. But all this time I've never played that and I never knew the game. Is that the kind of online gambling? Because my knowledge is very minimal about the online gambling. I prefer to play offline gambling, like capsa, or another card game.

you can search in internet about dice gambling and you will found that dice is one of the famous gambling games. many people like playing dice because its easy, no need to use strategy and every new people can start to play dice games. i think there is any available strategy that you can use to played but you need to understand that you can not always win the games and makes limitation for your bet so you don't have to lose all of your money.
in real casino a craps are a fun dice game , but in bitcoin/online gambling sites i think it's transformed into something that really boring with simple interface and boring way to play high and low. it's even just give you a frustation instead a fun due lack of idea to make things much more fun. bitcoin dice game game are completely for the sake of making money and nothing more , people come back with that reason.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: healthy discussion about DICE on: November 23, 2017, 06:46:04 AM
Our bankroll is always small from the house also house have limit of max profit but we don't have that kind of limit to bet with the amount of bankroll we have. Dice sites are provably fair and its probability which makes you loose not because of provably fair system.
provably fair make sure the game are completely random , the game are generated by certain code and inside of that there's a house edge where the primary function are to make the business run well profitable and that house edge take the profit from every bet placed. which means when you have played for 5 years then you have given the site a steady income with every single bet you have made, that's why in dice you should leave forever once you have got a winning, otherwise you would feel like you would never win in the end.
750  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: November 23, 2017, 06:28:20 AM
I have not been paid my last withdrawal. I have been waiting a month now for 9 bitcoins no email from fortunejack at all. in my transactions it just says pending.

Is this true? Could you please show a proof of what you have just said? Just wondering why you come here to complain after too long time? Fortunejack usually process withdrawal no more than 24 hours (mostly instant) unless there is something needed to be double checked before they process the withdrawal. Have you asked it through live support?

I have been very busy moving countries and traveling. so very stressful when I just assumed they would pay without me chasing them. poor customer support not sending me any email at all while holding my money for such a long time.

I have not been contacted.
so  the case of withdrawal on hold for 1 month are not yet solved till today? how about this fj , would you respond on this and explain in public later? so everything could be clear and not become a bad view for public. the claim of 1 month waiting large amount of bitcoin without any notification/contact are really annoying ( i was once in that position btw ) and not a good way to handle the problem , i would like to hear the reason publicly to make things clear and transparent , goodluck erkans.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: November 23, 2017, 06:09:49 AM
Experience, in my opinion, is important in any case and in gambling too. I just doubt that this experience will help when playing roulette. Rather, there must be luck.
roulette is also a game based on luck there is no way experience can help you win in any way gambling means only luck except a few strategic games but overall experience only helps you to decide what your next move should be
well, the experience will not help you to win the game, but the experience will help you to minimize losses and maximize profit or didn't take both at all. The ability to self-control like emotion control and greed control will help us to choose a good move.
experience has always helped us to only know when to stop and when is the right time to withdraw it has nothing to do with getting a profit if you are making a profit with experience you will know when is the right time to take profit

Correct. However, when we talk of games like poker and sports betting, it is really another story because these games need some sort of skills - these are the skills that you get out of your experience in the game. The more you have the skills, the more likely that you are going to win.
yeah but only on certain games , otherwise experience would mean nothing and useless when it comes to a game like roulette. can you imagine how experience work and help you out in that kind game ? no way , experience are indeed works when you play poker or any other player vs player based games. so it's a matter and important  sometimes but not always .
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: November 23, 2017, 05:53:18 AM
Control greediness while gambling is hard.I think it's human nature to get more and more easy money.Gambling gives us easy money when we win and we thought we will win again and again. This is greediness and which can make us empty hand.To control greediness we can do gamble in limited time and after time is up simply go home.We also can select target of winning amount so after winning that amount we will stop gambling.I find it really hard to control when I am winning. If we love money we have to control our greediness.
If you cannot control then maybe you should not try gambling, being greedy in gambling will always lead you in trouble that is why it's necessary that all the time we have to execute based on our game plan. Actually, it's better to play for fun so you will not look for bigger winnings and when you are satisfied with small win you will enjoy the game.
you should have a long term consideration before making any stupid move in gambling , mostly people think it for short. i mean when you hold 1 bitcoin as a bankroll you should play it a little piece by piece , with that way you might won't turn the greed deadly just like when you do allin or half amount of what you had as bankroll , once you get lost you would always think spontaneusly to make another deposit => lost it all again and repeat. the point are to have bankroll management could help you didn't go fully gamble due greed.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: November 23, 2017, 05:42:39 AM
That must be one rich person. 50BTC  is a lot of money. Shut I would be pissed just by losing 0.5BTC. I wonder how many btc does that person have. I think its just crazy to risk that huge amount of money. The most I have lost is 0.007 by today's BTC price. I don't risk too much and unfortunately even the rewards are low.
having 50 bitcoin in 2016 not really can be considered as rich due that time only worth around 20,000 to 30,000 USD only . where today you can become a rich bitcoin holder with the market volatility makes your 50 bitcoin turned almost 500,000 USD! don't need to place a bet , just hold your bitcoin and it would become more than just get doubled. people would die frustating just to remember that losing , really annoying.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: November 22, 2017, 10:25:26 PM
With all honesty,  whenever I win something through gambling, I tend to lose everything when I use the winning to start to gamble again. I lose everything and therefore seem to gain nothing at all in the process.

That is how gambling works, at first you are going to win, it is a bait that we should not bite, because if we do, we are going to be addicted on it, we are addicted because we badly want to win back all of our loses. Winning in gambling is just once in a blue moon, I mean we could only win big once, and it will take some time before we could win again big amount of money in gambling. I remember way back then, I didn't buy anything from the money that I won in gambling, I use it on Trading and the result turns good because I've made profits that I'm not expecting on a very short period of time.
people should learn how to become a real man who take every responsibility include in gambling , with that way you would always making a wise decision . a little example are when you underpressure with strong desire to want more profit, simply just tell yourself that 'it's enough for today' repeatedly until you realize it should be ended that time and be grateful what you have achieved.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: November 22, 2017, 10:09:39 PM
that's why I won that one gamble you really needed to stop because it won, that's when you hit it again you can beat and lose your gambling money you should also use the brain when you gamble that you do not think I'm winning you will continue game, because it can still recover and beat the crap, if I win it really should win it and you can understand the word STOP.

Satisfaction is the problem of most of the gamblers here, you just can't say that we have to stop when we win. But we must practice that whenever we win so that we can avoid further loss. Stopping is not when you are winning but if you are not lucky for that day it's also good to stop. And in summary, when you win good amount stop and when you lose a lot, stop.
noone will ever feel totally satisfied with the winning in gambling , no matter how large it is , people tend to continue playing as they think could get the same nice winning just like the previous one , they know already that in the next shots it would become harder as you are against the odds continuously and aware that luck are the only thing can make anyone survive without have to stop, and it's impossible to always have a luck to win!
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: November 21, 2017, 04:38:42 AM
Personally, i play for fun. We all want money nobody can deny that, but, for me it's about fun more than profit. It's my favorite activity in the weekend and i do regulary. If you're playing for the profit only, you will end up getting bored and broke because the lack of passion will make stressed and afraid of loosing everytime you play. We all hate loosing but it does not bother me that much if i enjoyed the game.

yes maybe if the gambling is done with the purpose of having fun then there will be no regret or disappointment despite the defeat, because we know the risk of gambling lose and may be more concern if someone has gambling addiction.
it's hard to stay think about having fun in gambling , your brain stimulates you to think that it's about money dude and nothing else, it would always like that no matter what. you might want to treat gambling as entertainment but i think it could be done with a good financial condition only , otherwise you would remain looking for profit all the time.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: November 21, 2017, 04:30:07 AM
Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?

It depends on your usage of bitcoin , if you are using your wallet often times for sending or receving transaction, i suggest you to use an online wallet if you only want a temporary storage for your wallet. If you are planning to hold your bitcoin use offline wallet, it is more secured to use against hacker.
Why do I need to use an Online Wallet for my daily using of Bitcoin? I can still using Offline Wallets for daily and there is no problem. Even, the Offline Wallets can guarantee my permission for my Bitcoin. No one has access to using my Bitcoin unless they know my password and private key for the Bitcoin wallet stored in my computer.
online wallet allows you to access your fund anywhere anytime without have to download any software . there's always a pros and cons where online wallet usually hold your private key which makes it's a little bit centralized . always better to use offline wallet but there's no harm to use an online wallet one as long as it's a reputable wallet not a new and strange wallet.
758  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: November 21, 2017, 04:15:41 AM
Trading seems to be risky when the user makes himself much greedy expecting larger profit in a less time, also one needs to know to pick the right coin for trading or need luck to pick the growing asset. With gambling skill based gambling gives the opportunity to get a winning to some extent and finally the result is completely upon the luck of the concerned user. So whether it's gambling or trading, profiting is entirely upon the luck one holds.

The same goes with gambling both are very risky and I don't really think that it's necessary to compare which has the edge to be riskier. In trading, with a short amount of time everything can be a nice celebration because of great profit but also in a split seconds things can be worst.

The difference between this two, (trading and skill-based gambling) is the risk management.  in skill based gambling, the last thing that will decide the game is not our decision but rather the cards that is in the deck, while in trading, we can do research, cut losses, or even take advantage of the fluctuation to get profit even though our stuff is fluctuating while it is declining.  Risk in trade can be managed while in gambling, we cannot unless we stopped it.
don't need to compare more about which one better , trading has better chance for anyone to make money . gambling simply destructive most of the times , look at those people who become broke they are an addict do gamble no matter it's skill based continuously and don't know how to stop it . in trading you'll never get addicted , you can leave easily when you feel it's frustating .
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 21, 2017, 03:47:59 AM
Honestly saying gambling is wrong only. Why people playing gambling is they want to win big money in a short time and very easily that is very rare happened but people get sick of it and they always playing and loosing every thing what they have some time it lead them to take wrong decision like committing suicide also that's why I don't like gambling. If really curious to play it should for fun only not to addict level.

It is not about saying which one is right or wrong but it is from ourselves. If you feel that there is nothing wrong with you then go ahead and keep playing. I wonder how long can someone maintain this because when we gamble, we are always going to lose. Maybe not now but someday we are going to lose so it is better to stop or just play for fun
it's hard to avoid on how addictive gambling it is. those people who have got involved in gambling would perforce to get addicted sooner or later unless if you do gamble for once and walk away which i think unlikely happened to most people. it's natural when someone feel didn't enough and continue to play until they found themselves in big trouble and gambling that time considered as in wrong way .
760  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] Bitlogic.cc | Fair Crypto-Betting with Binary Options on: November 21, 2017, 03:33:05 AM
The delay in placing bets just fucked me, really annoying :/
just happened to me too and when this kind issue appears in a binary betting it could be a big deal , people would accuse that the site are trying to cheating or something shady like that , better to fix it soon or the business wouldn't run smoothly. FYI my internet speed are 100 Mbps , that's fast enough isn't it ?
