741  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It can be totally avoided on: November 25, 2023, 02:55:48 PM

First time I hear that Playstore also allow scammers to launch app in their store. I was thinking that all apps in the Playstore are first checked by play protect team and then only save apps are allowed because we say above every app that it is protected by play protects.

I generally check number of download, rating and review before downloading any app. Official app are download more than 100k many times and review more than 10k however downloading from official site is more secured. We have to get paly store, Apple store downloading link from the official site so that we didn't face any scam attempt.

You will be surprised by Kaspersky Lab's investigation that hundreds of Google Play apps have been infected and used by users more than 600 million times.
Therefore, trusting even very famous developers at some point can be dangerous. Exactly like using a phone for various needs, including finance and games, can end badly.

742  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: chrime can come even when bitcoin is nowhere in sight on: November 25, 2023, 02:30:25 PM

I don't agree if someone reveals their identity on social media with the smallest bitcoin ownership even just a gesture, then the crypto function doesn't apply?

Yes, but these people risk being attacked by those who may know them, even if only briefly. For many people, the understanding of the expression “I have bitcoins” goes beyond the correct amount. They immediately see a large amount; although a person may have 200 dollars in his wallet, he has no more. But this one remark may expose him to attack by people who decide to rob him as the owner of a large sum. Therefore, silence is golden. Be simpler and more modest.
743  Other / Meta / Re: These degenerates don't wanna quit.. is there a way out? on: November 25, 2023, 02:02:19 PM
I often receive letters with a name in this form when using some kind of email messenger, and the name is written there in advance.  Smiley
OP, your fears and the solution to these fears will still depend on you. If you use the forum on a mobile phone, then even as you say that you do not follow unfamiliar links, your safety depends on the applications installed on your phone. If you use a computer, then start studying systems that are far from Windows, since in them we regularly see certain incidents that await users for seemingly harmless actions. Your safety will always be in your hands. Monitor the news; thereby, you will understand where you can get a virus or spyware.
744  Other / Meta / Re: Delete my account on: November 25, 2023, 01:17:08 PM
Why did you want to delete post including your accounts?
To me deleting your account by yourself is a bit difficult because you don't have access to do tha, what you should do is to have those post you don't want deleted or alternatively you leave them to serve as a reference purposes to how you started here. What most don't know is how to keep records on how they started forum from little and became larger.

OP, go to settings, reset your account password, but before you type the new password, kindly close your eye and type in different letters from your keyboard. Open your eyes after then and don't cross-check the letters, then submit it and walk away. That's a way of forgetting about your account if you don't actually want to gain access to it.

Your case with the answer fits right into the topic of people who don’t read posts and don’t read what other people write, but only respond to the first post that the OP creates. If you had paid attention and read a little more, you would have realized that the OP has decided on the issue that concerns him.

But the OP’s very behavior just shows how people are afraid to take the wrong step and mistake Bitcoin for some kind of offense. OP, there are a lot of people registered here; do you think that anyone cares about you? Or may your nickname coincide with that of a person who is quite famous on the Internet?
745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Someone just paid 83BTC for transaction fee, on: November 24, 2023, 05:06:44 AM
It is difficult to call what happened an error since it was made twice and the owner could clearly understand what he was doing. One can only guess where he got such a large number of bitcoins that he could just spend them. There is doubt about the honesty of these funds, and the owner was probably in a hurry to complete the transactions as quickly as possible, which means one can guess that some kind of hacking or theft occurred, and the Bitcoins might not belong to the sender.
746  Other / Meta / Re: Understanding Multiple accounts (newbie) on: November 23, 2023, 02:07:45 PM

I understand that some people are running away from this glaring question. This is not the type of question that a newbie should ask. But since there is a question, there must be an answer and someone correct me if I am wrong.

There are two scenarios
  • If you have two accounts from onset and one of the accounts let's say commits plagerism and got banned. This does not affect the other account of yours which predates the banned account. It means the other account is not ban evading
  • But when an account is banned, any other account from same user that is created after the account ban is considered ban evasion

I didn't see this rule anywhere and I haven't come across it. But that is what my common sense says it should be.

Suppose the previously created account and the account that committed plagiarism have irrefutable evidence of a connection with each other. In that case, the ban will also apply to the account that did not commit plagiarism. It depends on the situation, and moderators will approach this carefully. Otherwise, you can frame any completely innocent account by creating some connections with it. However, if there are undoubted connections, then even without receiving a ban from the moderators, you can get a negative tag from DT, although this is not welcomed by the community.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Единственное, что я читаю на русском форуме, так твои темы. Ты довольно веселый парень, я надеюсь что парень? Grin
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Attacks that Have Been Reported Worldwide on: November 22, 2023, 10:50:52 AM
From all the above cases, we must conclude that any unnecessary information about us on the Internet can add to our troubles. Posts on social networks shouting about a beautiful life will be taken under close attention, either by scammers or supervisory authorities. They always say that our language can become our enemy. Stories where you should remain silent about your activities will not be useful. I did not study all the cases of attacks on cryptocurrency owners, but if you imagine that if people behaved more modestly, they would probably avoid such problems.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Why haven't the earliest participants sold their Bitcoin, and some haven't even on: November 22, 2023, 10:34:27 AM
I think everyone had their reasons. Remembering myself in 2009 or 2010, I was also offered to pay for my work in Bitcoin, but I refused. I think it’s because I didn’t know the full value of Bitcoin, which could turn into large sums in the future. What would I do if I had no choice and had to get paid in Bitcoin? I would certainly exchange it for another currency, since the parts that make up Bitcoin scare me. But someone could probably receive the payment and simply forget about it. We often see stories where people start bringing up old documents in search of seed phrases that were created a long time ago. There were probably people who saw much further than us ordinary people, and it is they who are now skimming the cream off their early investments, which turned out to be very successful.
750  Other / Meta / Re: Losing entire post if you hit back arrow accidently on: November 22, 2023, 09:19:56 AM
I don’t know how correctly I understood your text, but on my laptop, when I write a post, press the back button, and then click again on the page to print the post, everything is saved. Maybe the problem lies when using mobile gadgets. I deliberately tried to do this, but maybe this happens after a pause.
751  Economy / Economics / Re: this makes a huge impact on the economy. on: November 21, 2023, 11:19:50 AM
There is a remark that going to the store not every day saves more money than shopping every day. If you go out every day to buy bread, for example, you may certainly have a desire to buy another thing that is really not needed at the moment. But the way you decide what people need or not is wrong. Perhaps they postpone shopping until certain days, and that's when you get the feeling that people are wasting money. By the way, your father, since he is so observant, should raise prices on goods on days that are popular with buyers. This way, you can disrupt their shopping pattern and also make more profit if people consistently buy at the same time. Smiley
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really too Expensive? Then Buy Satoshis on: November 21, 2023, 11:01:27 AM
When people I know talk about the value of Bitcoin and how they can't afford to buy it because it's so expensive, I'm not trying to confuse them further. I propose the most understandable solution for them: investing some amount of fiat. How much they can afford to invest in fiat is later translated into the number of bitcoins they will receive. I think this is the least simple explanation for people trying to also become part of the Bitcoin trend. Further, they have the opportunity to independently observe price movements and draw conclusions about what they want to do in the future.
753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best thing that have ever come to you thanks to BTC on: November 21, 2023, 09:15:56 AM
Reading the answers above for those who unsubscribed, a feeling of pride arises from, firstly, the society in which we all find ourselves. There are a lot of successful people who don’t talk about life in black-and-white terms, but on the contrary, everyone has such an interesting life, and they changed it with the help of Bitcoin. This alone suggests that Bitcoin is changing people’s thinking. I can also say about myself that my opinion on ways to earn money has changed, which was previously aimed at living from paycheck to paycheck. Ideas of a very diverse nature appeared in order to have more investment opportunities.
754  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk forum a home of solution on: November 21, 2023, 09:00:04 AM

Basically, what is there to life if we take off those two – knowledge and earning. If the forum offers those two (and we know it does), haven't a better part of our problems taken care of 😏. There are several millions who need these two but haven't located this forum. So, they still have those two problems unresolved in addition to other problems bedeviling them.

That's wise.. However, those people who don't know about the forum shouldn't worry us, right? If we always look at those who are lower, we will not be able to see the heights that people achieve with the desire to have more. If you admit to everyone your failures, very often it is not society that is to blame, but the people themselves. Complaining about poverty and not making any decisions is the easiest way. Anyone who tries to change their lives will definitely achieve it; it is important not to stop at the first failure.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got started with Bitcoin and how it is blessing for me? on: November 21, 2023, 07:46:07 AM
It is the story of a man who should have made good money from Bitcoin's rise, but it was never worth the price the OP talks about. But the history of posts suggests that participating in a bounty does not resemble the person who knows how to trade forex and recently earned a decent amount on investments. Perfectly, Bitcoin can convey both joy and happiness, as the OP writes, but posts that are not hidden and can be read tell a completely different story. Fantasy is presented as reality; that’s what the OP wants to say.
756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Huge Amount of BTC on: November 21, 2023, 06:33:03 AM
The third page of a useless topic created by someone who is clearly far from his mind. OP is so interested that he only spent twenty minutes creating a thread but has yet to come back to find out what to do with his wealth. My opinion is that someone is just messing around to create unnecessary topics, and such accounts should be blacklisted by IP so that people would appreciate the opportunity to register on the forum.
757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The people from Bitciontalk are a good company to keep. on: November 20, 2023, 10:42:23 AM
Everything is correct, OP. The energy of the forum saved me many times and taught me to be patient and not react to the market every time prices rise or fall. I have been tempted thousands of times by the feeling of cashing out those few funds when I see a small profit. The forum and the community taught me the rule that you should not waste your time on small things and eat something that will always cost much more. And yes, I see people who are outside the forum, and their opinion about Bitcoin is completely different or even opposite to the opinion of the people gathered here.
758  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid sending your BTC to the same wallet its coming out of - Quick reminder on: November 20, 2023, 10:29:38 AM
If you have concerns that your system may have a virus, then by default, you should not send anything anywhere. Writing a wallet address manually is very tedious, and if you are afraid that you might make a mistake when copying and your wallet will be replaced by another wallet, then there is a possibility of a virus, which will do its job, if not this time, then another time. Simply keep the system clean. If you know where you go online and what you do on your device, you won't get into trouble.
Maybe this is worth mentioning, that malware and virus are not the same because all viruses are malware while not all malware are viruses. Clipboard malware is not a virus. What viruses do to devices is to damage file data, damage files and also make the device to work as it supposed not to be, like to slow down the system or to make it work abnormally.
Oh, my God Roll Eyes. Would you argue with the statement that if a device is not clean, then it should not be used? Why explain to me what a virus or stealer is? The point is that if you are not in a sterile room, one or another infection will reach you. To avoid this, just be sure that there is no malware on your device. You can never be sure what a virus or other crap can do to your device because you didn't create it.
759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Massive influx of scammers activity during the bull season. on: November 20, 2023, 10:13:28 AM
There is too much noise affecting people's minds, creating a rush to invest anywhere sooner. People present on the forum are unlikely to make mistakes with investments since the truth is repeated many times: there is nothing free on the Internet. But fans of social networks are future victims, greedily hunting for “gifts” either from the public or now from the impending halving, which will certainly be presented in the news as the coming of the time when you need to prepare for riches. And scammers, who are still very inventive, will show everyone the high art of deception.
