741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: October 31, 2023, 03:01:25 PM
I see a lot of people here talking about gambling responsibly. Yes, that is something very true, but have you ever been a gambling addict?

No, not everyone that can be a gambling addicts for any reason except when we are unable to manage ourselves the appropriate way expected of an average gambler, but also we can assumed that some of us would have been indirectly into gambling addiction by the way we gamble when we are not applying warning to the extent of how we gamble responsibly, or when we got easily moved by our emotions while gambling, but this may not actually be our regular actions, but what we do occasionally that we don't count as being under the influence of addiction.
742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Halloween giveaway scam is all over, protect your Bitcoin. on: October 31, 2023, 01:29:38 PM
If you're not busy looking around for freebies where it does not exist then one will never be a victim of a related scam on this, lately I've heard some many members of the forum also making request on this year Halloween to be marked in other for them to take an advantage in physhing for merit when they apply for the contest, same thing is fast going online on the internet, whereby people are promising to offer bitcoin as reward for the contest on any task given to mark this year Halloween, if we don't trust them, then we shouldn't apply for any except the ones trusted from the reputable members of this forum.

We are the first custodian to our security, we shouldn't handle our bitcointalk login device with carelessness that everyone have access to it, no matter how we secured it, if other people have access to it then nothing there is hundred percent safe, we should be mindful of what we download, the websites we visit and by not storing our login details on any device that could be accessible to anyone, when we don't make them have access to us, they cannot attack us.
744  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What to do with 1 BTC as a Nigerian on: October 31, 2023, 11:37:34 AM
With the rate that the naira is massively falling against dollar, it is not wise enough to invest in anything that has to do with naira currently because is will loose in value over time since naira is fast increasing in the falling on parallel market, what is more profitable is for you to hold your asset no in bitcoin, because bitcoin will rise and it's currently on the pump market season, secondly it value will appreciate over time towards what it could be exchaged for in naira, so easy time you're just ready to use money in fiat should be when to exchange your bitcoin.
745  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Waste of money can be utilise in another source on: October 31, 2023, 10:53:44 AM
Wasting of money for smoking and gambling is not good, if we calculate the amount of money we use in smoking and drinking for annual,  including the one we use for gambling it can be sum up to start a business offline or we use the to invest in bitcoin knowing that one day we shall recover the money.

This is not the most provocative part of it, what they do is that they can spend any amount of money to the last dime on their purse just to catch fun and drink alcohol, but they will never accept to help you when you need money to pursue for any success in life, even if the condition is as critical as hospital emergency, if they cannot spare their own money for themselves to make an investment than investing in alcohol to their stomachs, they can't afford giving you as well to make an investment with their money, this is one of the worst scenario you can have with alcohol and gambling addicts.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your nice hit to leave the casino. on: October 30, 2023, 02:23:14 PM
Previously, until I left the casino, it was when the money in my wallet ran out, it was quite crazy, I had money and then spent it in the casino, but it was a long time before I realized that it was a stupid act and like someone who had no future.

This kind of weird gamblers behavior is very common, it happens that until you got pushed to the wall and left without having any other option thannto quit for the day, though this kind also work well because of those that couldn't withstand having money in their casino wallet until they got everything exhausted, it is advised that we should deposit the little amount of money we can afford to lose in gambling, so that if the worst happensz it will not pain us.

But for the past few months I have only played quite well and responsibly, so there was no amount that hit me so that I sadly left the casino, because today I have limits in gambling, therefore there are no hits and nothing that could kill my finances.
My gambling limit is once a week with a random nominal amount.

Only for thoso who have learnt to know their moderacy in gambling by putting limit to when they should stop, have ability to control their population is emotions as in your case with past experience.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to build a career with bitcoin? on: October 30, 2023, 01:54:21 PM
it's possible to build a good career in bitcoin by becoming a full-time trader. but note that the person must be able to make a good strategy in his trading so that it can give him a good profit. if the person has built a good portfolio with stable profits, he can build his investment firm and collect funds from people or institutions who want to invest their money. or he can work for an investment firm and build a career there.

One can make a career in bitcoin, but the requirements needed sometimes may take a long time, how many people, bitcoin traders or investors are ready to go through the pain and curdles or making an investment with bitcoin to hodl and wait till the approach time to see it result comes, know this that even while trading, there's risk and one is bound to make mistakes and loose money, but the risk level is  only minimal because we can't loose completely the entire asset of investment in bitcoin.
748  Economy / Reputation / Re: I do not understand the purpose of the board Reputation. on: October 30, 2023, 01:15:28 PM
I want to believe that the purpose for creating this thread isn't to rain curses or make use of abusive language or raged tone against each other, when someone is asking for something, make provision of your own answer to that and if you don't have any, just looks way and go, the worst you can do is to report a post that is not attractive to you or to the community, the last option to do is to ignore anyone you feels does same thing repeatedly, then why should we keep on deviating from the real matter of discussion here, isn't this more of a retaliation attacks.
749  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Scam Currently Going on from WhatsApp to Telegram on: October 30, 2023, 12:50:12 PM
There is a scam currently ongoing from WhatsApp to Telegram. You will be contacted by a random person with a foreign number offering an online digital marketing job or tasks that claim to make you money per day.

I've also witnessed receiving links like that on text messages that I've been offered a job which i didn't applied for, the moment you begin to give them audience then they begin to psych you to know how vulnerable you could be in giving out information, once they make the discovery that you're being a novice then they can make use of any formats that best works according to your kind of person to scam, they have different ways and ideas that they can use in deceiving people, all they need is your attention and response from whatever they demand, if you sighted such, block and delete their line.
750  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Free money wahala!! on: October 30, 2023, 12:17:21 PM
I can't remember if I've participated in any thing of such again called cloud mining ever since i discover that everything was just nothing than a waste of time, why will you be too eager of making money without coming across things like this, they will use your time, energy, data and at the end of it all, there will be no reward awarded because they will subject you to an unfinished task that you cannot cope or manage to finish, this is more often a scam and people are getting to realized that, after alot of others have been a victim of many related offers.

752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: October 28, 2023, 12:53:38 PM
Buying a lottery tickets can be profitable if we have the luck that will keep us going. Those that bought several tickets so they can win might not even have the luck to win the lottery.

That's true, it has to be on luck base, when we are going for lottery, then we should look more on the aspect of what luck may bring our way than the struggles in numbers of slot we may try to acquire, that is why it's not by work but by luck, some have made several encounters in applying using different spots yet unlucky, while some will only launch their first attempt and made it in.

Buying a lottery tickets can be profitable if we have the luck that will keep us going. Those that bought several tickets so they can win
Sometimes we just need to take some risks trying our luck out rather than trying not to take that risk. Lottery games can be profitable to those that know how to find their way or manipulate the system.

Does using tricks even applies to the use of lottery, if it's that possible then many would have abused it longed time ago just as they do behave in gambling
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: October 28, 2023, 11:53:57 AM

When we are in a casino where things are obvious in this way, we can sense that the pressure is not ours, and that is a plus, why? Because there is a lot of competition in the casinos, it is known that if they try to demand a lot from us, well, if we don't want to, we don't give orders, and we leave it like that, we look for another casino that doesn't bother us so much and we try it, there must be someone who doesn't. It bothers so much, that's how it is, the competition is the only thing, for that reason I recommend doing it, I clarify, this KYUC thing is not something that I like, I think that many do not like it, but it is something that is why we fight Against the grain, if there is a caisno that we like a lot, we can do that test, of course it is not that it is done with everyone, that is only with some in particular, obviously the corresponding research has to be done.

Yeah!  It’s true that many people don’t like KYC verification.
When I am faced with such a need to undergo verification according to the KYC procedure, I just begin to get nervous and swear to myself because I have gone through this process more than a dozen times.  And it definitely gets boring and annoying.  Moreover, there are also different confirmation options, for example, including video images of faces.  And all this data is transferred to someone unknown.
And they may well be used for some bad purposes.  If there is even the slightest possibility of doing without KYC, I never go through this check again.
Yes, it is true that most gamblers who really prioritize the anonymity of personal data will refuse to be asked to do KYC because for them it is not only annoying but it is a very complicated process and is considered unsafe which makes them always refuse when asked for KYC.
But most of today's reputable gambling sites always ask for KYC before making a deposit or placing a bet and maybe this annoys someone but for me as long as the casino has high trustworthiness I will do KYC rather than lose huge amounts of money in a casino that doesn't have any reputation.

If they refused to complete any of their KYC request that means they are going to be frustrated while using the casino because they will be deprived of some benefits and functions, isn't it more better if a gambler feels like he cannot cope with having kyc challenges to go for the kind of casino categories that does not require kyc althrough, without filling in for kyc then you may not be able to make withdrawals and other things you would have been having access to.

757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 27, 2023, 11:30:50 AM
When gambling you have to set limits and stick to them. For instance, you can gamble with 1% of your monthly salary, gamble with what you can afford to lose so that anytime you lose in gambling you can move on, gamble only on weekends not to get addicted, and lastly, always take a break from gambling when you incurred so many losses to relax your head.

You can also look out for other things that will take your mind off gambling when you notice that gambling is not healthy for you at the moment such as playing a video game and watching a TV.

In gambling, we need to know the limit to how far we can go, we shouldn't be decieved by the amount on our bankroll to keep us gambling even when we needed to pause and get refreshed for the other day, some have the money to use for gambling without having any issue with that because they are financially balanced, maybe we can accept that this is how gambling should be viewed and not a means to continuous making of money, we are gambling just as we are subscribing for having fun through gambling in form of an entertainment.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 27, 2023, 10:54:53 AM
When luck isn't on your side, consider an immediate pause to prevent further losses.
If you have won too, it is good to stop gambling because the day that has been going good could be ended in losses.

Don't push your luck beyond the maximum acceptable losing streak. Waiting too long often results in significant losses.
Yes this is the time to lose more. Some people will become very emotional and lose all their money in bank or on a wallet.

What I did that has been so helpful is the gambling budget that I set which is 5% or less of my weekly income. It has been helping and the reason I have been reiterating it on this forum.
Have been a victim of the excessive push of lock in days where i feel my luck is on the high spirited, this happens to me mostly in sportbetting, some days i make multiple games selections and I become lucky to win a substantial amount in the process, instead taking a break, I decided to play more and in that process, o eventually will lose and it I don't stop may lose everything I won in previous bets.
This experience has taught me some lessons and now I will never consider chasing any direction in gambling be it winning or chasing loss, this has created more cius than it helps the time and for any experienced gambler already knows this and tries to avoid practising  such approach in gambling because it won't help

Maybe probably in your own case here, you're already getting towards being addicted to gambling at your unaware, the moment we cannot resist the urge that keep pushing us to continue betting even when we are loosing is a signal for an addiction and what first comes to mind is to see that you're after the chase of your losses and the moment you embark on that, it becomes a serious challenge, all you could keep seing is a continuous attempts to gamble the more while the losses continue to accumulate as well the more.
759  Other / Archival / Re: Let just be contented. on: October 27, 2023, 10:05:59 AM
Everyone deserves the best of life, but not when we are making a forcefully attempts in achieving what we are not due for, everyone has his own time and season, we can chiose what we want, but all we need is patience while passing through the curdles of life, but when we are too eager or desperate about life, we may ended being under the conditions we least expect to happen, we have our own role to play, especially in some ugly circumstances, we can determine that we are not going to let down our struggles out of it.

If you look into the case of the young lady you made mention about, there have been alot of girls like that who couldn't wait patiently for their right partner, instead they try to go for where they feels there's money enough to carter for their needs without knowing the source, why should a lady have the mentality of not being responsible for herself, sit down and think, find a job to do and be successful in life than depending on a man for their sustainability in life.

You have done well in making such research about cryptocurrency maps, i have some little observations concerning your post, you could have added more energy vy taking your own time in making an explanation on some of the images you posted, some have their details on it while some have nothing to display and you didn't explain some things to know about the map, which just means you also have less or no idea about the interpretation of those maps, posting their images alone is just like an unfinished work to me, you can try to improve more better next time, but you made a nice attempts to offer something.
