741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] RuCoin - Russian alternate cryptocurrency - exchange is up already! on: June 14, 2013, 12:01:17 AM
Hello. I am the owner of russianbitcoin.com and I have decided to sale this domain or even lease it. also I am interested in developing an exchange website where you can sell bitocoins for rubble in russia.  If anyone is interested, you can PM me with any project ideas you might have and we can make some profit share with this.

I also own Rucoin-uk.com
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin Windows Client Update on: June 12, 2013, 01:08:52 PM
Since the release of your random client update the price of BBQcoin has dropped by 20% and Vircurex have dropped BBQcoin altogether.

It seems to alot of people, the exchanges included, that you are not helping but in fact hindering BBQcoin from growth and if it gets removed from anymore exchanges, potentially be responsible for its downfall.

Right now I am spending most of my time trying to repair the damage you have caused in the faith of BBQcoin with the last two exchanges that it remains on and am going to work hard on increasing the price of the coin.

I have always said from the start I have never been involved in BBQcoin for profit, it is the fact that I really like the coin that makes me want to see it have the success that it deserves, not just for the sake of profit but for EVERY single community member that is supporting BBQcoin and has installed their faith into it and into our Dev team at BBQcoin.org of which BTER.com still considers to be the official Dev team.

Try to have a little common sense... All altcoins are pumped and dumped. In 2 or 3 days, its price will rise again and will fall again... Who will you accuse? its price has always been much lower than other altcoins and even lower than scamcoins. I think you don't help this coin and I'm not alone thinking this. And BQC is always on Vircurex! https://vircurex.com/welcome/index?alt=bqc&base=btc

You say you worked hard but what is your hard work worth? You don't even know how to make a simple webpage that looks correct... Be honest, you don't know how to program and you are learning with this coin.

I don't want to exclude you, so I suggest to you that we work together, you accept and the project takes a new direction or, you destroy everything. Now, you are free to choose what you want to do...

For your information, I registered bbqcoin.com when this coin was worth nothing...

Announcements

11 June 2013 - BBQ, CNC, YAC support stop NEW
We will no further support BBQ, CNC and YAC. Please withdraw all your coins till latest 30th June 2013. Deposits are not processed anymore. Trading will be possible till end of June.

That is from Vircurex. So your facts are wrong.

What is wrong with my website? I know it was a mess before but I think it is fine now. I have never said that I am a programmer, not ever. I work with the community and help to bring the BBQcoin side together towards a common goal.

And if you registered the domain BBQcoin.com when BBQcoin was worth nothing, why did you not do anything with it until it was worth something and on exchanges? Is money and profit your only goals for this coin?

I started BBQcoin.org when it was worth nothing as I love and still do love the coin, with its crazy but interesting past, the way it survived, showing its resistance/persistence and I started the website just to get community interest. And at that time I only had a basic GPU and about 2500 coins. So I didn't start the website for profit or monetary gain, I get that from BTC/USD trades. BBQcoin is more of a passion for me.

And what fact is it that I have not helped this coin based on?

Before I started BBQcoin.org it was worth nothing. After I started it and the forum which increased interest massively it got added onto three exchanges, then I started a Facebook page which has got 46 likes but actually "reaches" out into over 100 people with every single post made, via the statistics page, including the fast amount of followers on our Twitter account too. This shows that bbqcoin.org has large support. So in what way did I not help?

The oversaturation of Alt-coins has not helped with the worth of all Alt-coins, we know that for sure and that has and will hold most of the Alt-coins back.

Also why would I want to work with you, someone that released a client update with even contacting me or my team knowing full well that we only just released a client update a few weeks ago.

You could have messaged me on the Facebook page, followed and then messaged on twitter. Messaged me by PM on BTCTalk. Joined and then PM'd me on our forum or even posted a prior [ANN] on our forum.

So many ways in which you could have contacted us to let us just know what you planned to do but you chose none of them. How does that show the bases for any type of teamwork at all in any way?

Why did you not contact us about this?

And one other question, with your website design experience, programming experience (For a client update), why did you not just create your own coin?

I mean, you changed the BBQcoin logo with your update without even asking the community, the only reason we changed it was because it still had a Litecoin one.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin Windows Client Update on: June 11, 2013, 07:27:34 PM
I'll stick to the bbqcoin.org version Smiley

Well, you are free and people are also free to choose what they want to choose. We have many downloads everyday. Work must be rewarded rightfully, people will judge and choose by the quality of project itself.

Since the release of your random client update the price of BBQcoin has dropped by 20% and Vircurex have dropped BBQcoin altogether.

I really cannot believe this, are you trying to kill BBQcoin or something? You had better not be!

It should be killed. The only reason you and dozen of supporters want it to live is because you have been secretly mining it, the dead coin, for
many months and after you stockpiled shitload of coins you started "BBQ is alive" campaign, which included bribery for Bter exchange. So lame!

I mined BQC when most users didn't car about it. How is that a secret? Anyone was about to do it, what's wrong with that?

I gave BTER.com 10,000 BQC but they gave it back to me in my trading account on there, so did not even need it. That's the facts.

And what is a shitload?

Look at my You Tube video, you can see how many coins I have on the video. Its there for everyone to see, did you not know this?

Why don't you research something a little bit before throwing accusations around.

You are full of shits and you are scumbag, just like markm and few others who recently poped-up supporting BBQcoin and few other failed projects
not because they are needed but because you want to profit from the deal. Situation with BBQcoin now is pretty much like with bastards who were
premining, instamining or buying some crapcoin for cheap and then started spamming around how that same crapcoin is the next big thing, the best
altcoin or whatever even though they are aware coin is just lame variation on some other cryptocoin, bringing nothing of value to the table.

I'm here for so long that your and other "developer" or "benefactor" bullshits are not even laughable to me anymore. Just drop dead finaly, thanks!

You really have not been doing any research at all have you?

I have mentioned many times that I don't make my profits with BBQcoin and in fact for the months I had the bbqcoin.org website up and BQC was worthless, on that side I was making a loss.

I make my profits with trading BTC into USD and back, simple but it works.

BBQcoin is something that I enjoy doing, along with trying to help new users with You Tube videos etc.

How does that make me a scumbag and that you want me to die?

First up, BBQcoin.org has nothing to do with DDos attacks, we are a Dev team and don't have the time or inclination for such things.

You have K1773R in your team, if you don't know how to choose good people to work with you, you are responsible... But our server has now a DDOS protection.

So I am responsible for a DDos attack on your website just because you say I am? And that makes it fact?

Its a waste of time DDosing any website, all it does is delay them slightly, just like in Superman 2 when he threw the "Delay the badguy with an S shaped net thing" in the end, its pretty pointless.

I don't hate your website at all, in fact the design is clean, fresh and nice on the eye.

I just worry when I cannot see your source code, that's the main thing really and you could of at least sent me a quick PM just to let me know that you were going to release an update to the client.

I am just wondering, in your eyes who is the Dev team? As in theory the Dev team is the whole community, so there is nothing to really "takeover", nobody can takeover BBQcoin as it is open source, or was until recently.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin Windows Client Update on: June 10, 2013, 11:51:31 AM
Well done Guys.

The price was going up nice and steady until BBQcoin.com did there Dev thing.

Now there have been massive dumps on both Cryptsy and Vurcurex.

I really cannot believe this, are you trying to kill BBQcoin or something? You had better not be!
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin Windows Client Update on: June 10, 2013, 11:38:55 AM
And why do you keep delaying adding the source code.

It takes 30 seconds to change a link but you keep saying you will add it shortly?

Why not just add it right now, the source code is VERY important so we all know what changes you have made.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin Windows Client Update on: June 10, 2013, 11:25:33 AM
First up, BBQcoin.org has nothing to do with DDos attacks, we are a Dev team and don't have the time or inclination for such things.

Also I notice a few members names popping up now from the "foundation" forum, saying how this is such a good thing.

Coincidence?

And I agree, the client is fine as it is, mobile development is what is needed and that is what we are working on.

It seems strange that BBQcoin.org post on their Facebook page and website that we are moving into mobile app development and the suddenly so does BBQcoin.com, without even consulting us so we could work together.

This is not a competition guys, this is for the betterment of BBQcoin for the community and nothing else.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin.org Official Thread on: June 10, 2013, 10:56:12 AM
I am not sure where BBQcoin.com has come from, I am guessing a Graphics Design and real world business background. What I do know is that Bigduab has said he owns the restaurants on BBQcoin.com, hence is connected to that website and also that he tried to create a BBQcoin foundation, to try and get the community to back him, which did not work.

Instead BBQcoin.com have decided to do a hostile takeover of developing BBQcoin and without even messaging me first, just to even let my team know they were planning one. (We could have worked together)

Whoever is running BBQcoin.com has really gone about things the wrong way, I have put my own money into running this website even when BBQcoin was worth nothing and as just as our Dev team get it onto three exchanges they come in and try to force a takeover.

They do this with a closed sourced and self installing .exe, which I have learned over years is very bad practice as the file could have anything embedded within it.

I don't think anyone knows who runs BBQcoin.com, as their BTCTalk username is the website name, also only less then a month old, which is odd aswell, if it is BigDuab running it, why does he not just come out and say it or is it because his first attempt of a takeover with the foundation failed.

From this moment on, development from bbqcoin.org will stop until BBQcoin.com contacts us to let us know their plans. We cannot plan any future updates if they are planning other ones without even consulting us, this would lead to confusion for both us and the community.

Right now I feel BBQcoin.com is hurting BBQcoin and not helping it at all.

For me, one of the good things about BBQcoin was the fact it was totally transparent and honest but now BBQcoin.com is changing that buy not telling anyone who they are and having closed sourced client software.

Thanks.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin Windows Client Update on: June 09, 2013, 10:43:24 PM
We can work with anyone but I won't waste my time in arguing with negative people who don't want to work with us. We have received many messages of support and we'll continue our work.

Just one thing, the market and the people will decide where to go in the end...

Who is we? As right now, nobody knows.

We don't even know who you are or even if you own BBQcoin.com

BBQcoin.com - Date Registered on BTCTalk: May 17, 2013, 08:18:27 PM

Your account is not even a month old and you are doing this?
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin Windows Client Update on: June 09, 2013, 10:08:40 PM
I do agree that anyone can make any changes they want but to come from nowhere and say that they are taking over project development?

What about building some kind of reputation on this forum first? Show people more about who you are.

The BBQcoin.com website has only been around a short period of time and only since BBQcoin has been worth something, even worse the BBQcoin.com BTCTalk account is brand new, don't they need to build basic trust on the forum first before becoming self proclaimed BBQcoin developers?

I have been running the bbqcoin.org website and with other great people to get the coin where it is now but I cannot do that and have to fight against this other website at the same time, its just a waste of energy.

Also nobody has messaged me saying they were planning to release an update, which does not build trust at all.

As of now BBQcoin.com is doing their thing and we are doing ours, the users can choose who to trust.

I run BBQcoin.org but I never tell people what to do or download, I can only advise, just like I have started to do in my You Tube videos.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin Windows Client Update on: June 09, 2013, 09:45:04 PM
I have never said that I own BBQcoin, that is not possible with a Crypto-Currency.

The difference between bbqcoin.org, that I run and BBQcoin.com is that I started and paid for my website when BBQcoin was worth nothing and then you and your site turns up just as it gets onto the three exchanges.

Also why should anyone trust you on here with a brand new BTCTalk account?

Where have you come from?

What's your past projects?

And bbqcoin.org has just had the website changed and has received positive feedback and also the client was only just updated by our dev team two months ago.

IMHO the only thing BBQcoin.com promotes is its own restaurant and nothing else.

You cannot say it does not seem strange that a website appears with 1 restaurant (the ice cream side, part of the same place) and having them say they take BBQcoin as payment and now suddenly that website makes a client update?

This is almost like if I were to take Bitcoin.co.uk and then suddenly [ANN] that I have made a Bitcoin client update with a chat function, don't you think?
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin.org Official Thread on: June 07, 2013, 09:16:08 PM
Just put together my first big mining rig and sticking with BQC all the way!

Currently pooling in 2.1 - 2.2 Mh/s on 3 x 7970s Wink

I will also start accepting BQC for my web design/marketing/consulting services, very soon, too.

Good stuff, I have 2 x 7970 on the go but three is nice and you are getting some good hashrates out of them.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin.org Official Thread on: June 04, 2013, 11:20:56 PM
Amazing forum just for Altcoins and the best I have seen yet.

http://cryptocointalk.com

It has almost every coin on there, with new ones added daily, including prices and percentage rise and falls.

I do not run this forum but it is useful for me with BBQcoin so I joined and the guy that runs it is really friendly.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin.org Official Thread on: June 04, 2013, 09:08:56 PM
At the moment the Alt-coin market is over saturated but people will soon get bored with coin after coin and should then come back to the coins that have been around the longest or server a purpose.

For me that is Litecoin, Namecoin, BBQcoin, and Devcoin. Almost all of the others are new, a pre mine scam, dead or dying.

If anyone asks for a reason as to why we need BBQcoin is is because its history is out for everyone to see, any premise that might have happened means nothing with over 15 millions coins mined so far.

BBQcoin is a truly free and transparent crypto-currency.

Thats just my opinion and I have only been in this game for 2 and a half years.

Now is the time to mine BBQcoin as the difficulty is low at the moment but I cannot see it being like that for much longer and I can also see the price of Litecoin rising in the next two weeks swell.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin.org Official Thread on: June 04, 2013, 02:53:03 PM
The team over at BBQcoin.org have now started work on an IPhone Application devoted to BBQcoin. The first released version will have a current price ticker featuring the trading pair BQC/BTC and another tab that will display basic information about the coin possibly including a guide.

The £100 to get the App onto the Iphone App store will be paid for by me out of my wages but I do this not just for myself but for my love of the actual coin and the amazing support of the community.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][BQC] BBQCoin Foundation - a collaborative e-democracy on: June 04, 2013, 01:10:34 PM
For those want to mine BBQ, here is a good place

http://bbq.ltcoin.net
 Cheesy

Can you add this onto the Official BBQcoin.org Thread and I could get it added to DevToMe for you. I could even give you a Twitter ANN that another pool is out for BQC, it will go out to over 500 followers.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][BQC] BBQCoin Foundation - a collaborative e-democracy on: June 04, 2013, 12:52:19 PM
Also you might need to change your "download" link for the BBQcoin client on your website as it leads to the bbqcoin.org download page with this written in the description.

"WARNING: Do not download BBQCoin clients from any web sites other than http://bbqcoin.org/"

All style but no content comes to mind :-)

This is the basics guys, if I want to download the latest Bitcoin client, I go to Bitcoin.org, the same with Litecoin.org and I would imagine most other coins out there.

I really don't understand what you are trying to do but it is creating confusion and also shows that you either cannot read or are just plain ignorant of warning messages.

Also a quote of what foundation means:

"A foundation (also a charitable foundation) is a legal categorization of nonprofit organizations that will typically either donate funds and support to other organizations"

Who are you supporting and who are you donating funds too? At the moment you are creating confusion within BBQcoin, the opposite of supporting it and just how much funding do you have? And are you funding anything else other than yourselves?

I ran BBQcoin.org at a loss out of my own money for 3 months before BQC became worth anything. THAT, is supporting a coin.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin.org Official Thread on: June 04, 2013, 12:37:54 PM
keep up the good work

Thanks mate.

I am still in talks with a third exchange but they are getting put off by all the "BBQcoin Foundation" stuff and it is not helping.
