Also, mostly every ignorant member of the forum will receive this news as excellent news for the market and the cryptospace's adoption.

The future will be in privacy protection. If you find a cryptocoin doing it well, invest.
7482  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-15] Circle's sometimes head-scratching deals take shape on: October 20, 2018, 12:03:00 AM
@gentlemand. As I already mentioned. We should take it from our position and experiences in speculating. We baghold cryptocoins and tokens with the hope that they would pump. Companies speculate in other companies.

What other explanation is there? It is about taking risks and making money, I reckon.

@eeX. What would be the best exchange for Aeon with an affordable listing fee and with someone you might know who we can maybe ask for a discount?

I reckon the community should shoulder the listing fee with the help of the Aeon community fund.@smooth has already expressed his willingness to assist if the proposal is good. Unfortunately americanpegasus/Katiecharms, the person who has the influence to do this successfully is busy somewhere else.
7484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The secret to know what cryptocoin might be listed next in Coinbase on: October 19, 2018, 01:03:34 AM
Interesting, so what di you think which coin will be next on Coinbase? There a lot of gossips and underbreathes about it...

I already gave you the secret. It is your turn to do your job and find those projects on your own. If you want to share what you found, you can post them in this thread hehehe.

They will track us. This might be the beginning of a dystopian future in the cryptospace. Maybe it is already here but have no comprehension of its existence because we are so distracted by the price, new developments and the FUD.

In any case, for anonymity, protection of privacy and safer transactions, you know what to use.
7486  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-15] Circle's sometimes head-scratching deals take shape on: October 19, 2018, 12:26:38 AM
If they do have big plans for Polo, as figmentofmyass alluded to, it's still baffling why they would buy something and let it fall apart while they move other strategic pieces into position, rather than just building something from scratch to coincide with the rest of the plan coming together.

Yup. It makes no sense.

And it's not as if Poloniex was dripping with regulation for them to swan straight into which would be the main reason to buy an ongoing concern. At the very most it might have some money transmitter licences in a few states which any old donkey can get for a fraction of Poloniex's price tag.

Circle as its own brand was much better run and far less despised when they were selling BTC to the public. I don't get why they didn't revive that.

Maybe the costs are cheaper and it would be easier to buy an exchange than start and market another one from scratch. Poloniex is still a known exchange that have loyal users in spite of the bad service.

I reckon Circle does not want to be become directly an altcoin exchange. They need Poloniex to be that for them.
7487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: October 18, 2018, 02:07:39 AM

Agreed. I reckon it is already written in Dana's storyboard that there will be a rematch. Conor wants it and Khabib certainly will not mind another big paycheck hehehe.

But Dana has to work hard in asking for the minimum fine and punishment from the Nevada State Athletic Commision for Khabib if the UFC wants this rematch within a year.

This situation might be more serious.

I speculate that Khabib will be suspended for maybe 2 years. The governor of Nevada was there watching in the arena and he walked out disgusted by the brawl that Khabib started. The powers in Nevada might use every connection they have to disallow Khabib from fighting in America for a long time.

Also, the UFC will have its own punishment for Khabib.
7488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: October 18, 2018, 01:41:07 AM
Game of Thrones might be released on April 28, 2019, and not on December 2018 as rumored by some mainstream news websites.

Here is the explanation why. Also, the odds of who will rule the 7 kingdoms have also not changed that much.

Recently HBO announced that the third season of True Detective will begin on Sunday 13 January, and will run for eight episodes.

This would leave the show to finish on March 3, opening up the following week’s March 10.

Fans have pegged this as the first possibility of the show’s return - however there is a catch.

March 10 may be reserved for the return of HBO’s Big Little Lies - which stars Meryl Streep.

If Big Little Lies does return on March 10 it will run until April 21 - which leaves the following week available for Game of Thrones.

Five of the seven seasons of Game of Thrones have premiered in April, which could be further proof that April 28 may mark the return of the show.

Take it from our position, we take risks by bagholding ICO tokens, altcoins and scamcoins and hope that they will pump because there might be a possibility to catch the market's growth.

Circle and other companies take their risks in buying exchanges and other companies in the cryptospace to catch that growth.
7490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-10-14] Major Exchanges are Delisting Coins as some Begin to Falter on: October 18, 2018, 01:10:32 AM
@Betwrong. If you are holding bytecoin and it pumps, I have no problem with that as long as you know its history. The cryptospace is a crazy place and ongoing scams pump faster than real projects hehehe.

The information you need on Verge and Electroneum can be searched easily in the forum and Google.
7491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / The secret to know what cryptocoin might be listed next in Coinbase on: October 18, 2018, 12:54:01 AM
The first step is to check the development team of the cryptocoin. The next step is to check the advisory team of the cryptocoin. If there are people in them presently or previously connected with Coinbase on a professional level, then take it as a clue that it might be listed soon.

Look for those projects, share them in the thread hehehe.

0x (ZRX) has become the 6th cryptocurrency to be listed on Coinbase, the biggest exchange headquartered in the United States. Since ZRX went live for trading on Coinbase its price has surged from USD 0.70 to USD 0.95 as of this writing on 17 October 2018, and briefly as high as USD 1.04, a nearly 50% price increase. ZRX has climbed up the ranks on CoinMarketCap to #22 with a USD 511 million market cap. This can be called the Coinbase Effect, and was observed in the past when Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum Classic were added to Coinbase.

@Febo. Why is Poloniex keeping bytecoin listed? Besides the information that we already know about its developers' history of lying to the community, what is the real story behind bytecoin and Poloniex?

I reckon Circle's purchase of Poloniex should have cleaned the exchange of cryptocoins that have questionable histories.

@bigslimvdub. Exchanges will not listen to a group of random Aeon supporters by spamming their emails hehehe.

In any case, did Katie or americanpegasus say that he or she will leave Aeon? No, I reckon. But her actions does make it appear that she will be using more of her time in working on Grin.

@carlfebz2 and @bbc.reporter

Are you guys for real?

Here, I will highlight an important part which you guys skipped.

Quote
'Provable fair' in the sense of free from 'manipulation'.

I know how the traditional 'Provable fairness' works and how it can't be used for binary trading or any sort of trading at all.

Would it make you think that the site will be fairer if it used a regulated market index like the Nasdaq instead of the price of bitcoin in Bitfinex? It would be better, I reckon. Less suspicions of price manipulation.

In any case, asking for provably fair in the sense that it is free from manipulation is asking for the impossible.

7495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-10-14] Major Exchanges are Delisting Coins as some Begin to Falter on: October 17, 2018, 01:00:26 AM
@Betwrong. I do not have the answers for those questions because the cryptospace has a crazy market. We are in a place where the news of dying or hacked cryptocoins would sometimes make them pump hehehe. Verge and Electroneum are good examples.

I also have questions for you, have you done your research on bytecoin? Do you know its history?
7496  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-10]Mischief-Maker Promises to Livestream a 51% Altcoin Attack on: October 17, 2018, 12:41:25 AM
Was the hacker successful in his attack? There was no news about it, maybe he wasn't hehe. But this certainly will be the beginning of a new kind of FUD for cryptocoins that have low hashrate.

It might also be the beginning of competing low hashrate coins attacking each other.

He was banned from all the video platforms he tried to do Live. But he said he attacked BTCP and got + 70%. Maybe next time more people will pay attention.

He said he attacked bitcoin private, but how do we certainly know that he was the hacker?

Also, what are his motives for announcing that he would attack a cryptocoin? Is he a member of the development team of a competing project?

This will be a new kind of FUD that will be used more as already mentioned.

News update.

Okex is also delisting the scamcoin, bytecoin. It is shocking that this known scam was listed in Binance and other exchanges based in Asia. Do they do their research before making cryptocoin listings? Maybe not hehehe.

@eeX. You were responsible for Aeon's listing in HitBTC? Can you and your friend help it be listed on other exchanges? We need more liquidity as you know. If we cannot have it now, we might become dead and forgotten like terracoin or diamondcoin.

This might be the feared mtgox 2 beginning to occur right in front of everyone. I reckon, after the hacks, the questionable audits and the banks refusing to work with them, we might be witnessing it slowly dying.

Also, tether is a direct competitor to fiat. Central banks do not like competition hehehe.

@TraderTimm. I was writing my post before I could read your new post. But agreed!
