7541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: decentralized exchanges are safe? on: June 06, 2018, 08:27:23 PM
Are they safe, If decentralized exchanges are good then why ppl are using centralized exchanges?

Decentralized exchanges are mostly based on ethereum and eth tokens. People prefer the usual ones like poloniex or binance because they have a lot more different markets to chose from. Decentralized exchanges are more safer in my opinion because there is no intermediary and all works based on smart contracts. There are many famous ones like etherdelta and I recently saw a new one called airswap. As always, do your research before sending your coins/token to an exchange.

Yep. Pretty much because probably majority of people use BTC as a primary coin deposit rather than ETH.

And just to add to this, simply because decentralized exchanges are pretty hard to use for now(in my opinion, at least). I vividly remember the first time I used etherdelta. It was an absolute nightmare as the UI/UX was so bad. Hopefully they would improve it.
This is the difference between decentralized and centralized ones yet it do only focuses on ETH deposits and having erc20 token based.I havent seen any DEX to have other deposits rather than ETH thats why people would still prefer on using up other non DEX because they do able to buy or sell different tokens compared into the tokens listed on DEX. When it comes to UI its really non newbie friendly which if its your first time to use up then its always advisable to look up first for tutorial on youtube if you dont like to lose up tokens.
7542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau casino stocks slip after May revenue report on: June 06, 2018, 07:52:16 PM
According to the article the main reason of such decline is this:

"One of the reasons reported to exacerbate the reduction in casino share value and the revenue decline is a result of increased reports surrounding a Chinese Government crackdown on cash outflow to and from the region."

Clamping cash outflow can really take significant effect when it comes to growth. 16-20% growth per year is their target but they did only reach 12% theres really a decrease but still a considerable percentage for investors, since they do know the factor affecting it then they should make action on how to get it back if they would like to sustain.
7543  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Cloud bitcoin mining with no minimal withdrawal amount [Official Thread] on: June 05, 2018, 10:57:04 PM
Cloud mining is synonymous with "ponzi scheme" far too often these days.
And your rates beat out just about everything I've seen.

How can you prove you are not a ponzi scheme.
Obviously we can't know entirely for sure, but could you live stream your warehouse with the miners? Could you prove that you do in fact own that much hashrate?

You'll of course understand the concern.

So if you could figure out a way to prove that you do have the hardware, and the warehouse, (without a trip to Lithuania), that would likely help your cause a lot.

Also, the "no maintenance fees" bit scares me. How do you make money after the sale has finished? Are the electricity rates inflated to include the fee there?
Dont expect for op to provide those things being asked. He even didnt tend to reply on concerns on here even if you tried to look out hes still continuing on promoting this cloud bitcoin mining of his. He wont post any proofs that he do operate such farm or do have the warehouse if he does then we might consider investing but the thing you said about no fees? That raises a red flag already and been wondering if he would charge all by himself all the cost in terms of maintenance.
7544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign, really a lot of cheating? on: June 05, 2018, 10:22:25 PM

Everyday I see a lot of complaints about cheating concerning bounty campaigns.

The rules edict by the BM always remind that - obviously - cheating is forbidden (multiaccounts, bot, etc..).

But when I see the quantity of work and organization necessary to do things "legally" I find it hard to imagine that it is so interesting to cheat by multiplying false accounts for
(And it must be very visible)

Would it be possible to get Bounty manager's testimony on this subject?
Due to numbers of participants on each program checking out every entry would really be time consuming even though we do see always the common rule that cheating or multi-accounting is prohibited but still there are cheaters who would able to penetrate such rule and end up giving out a stake and get free tokens easily without doing any hardwork. Detecting or filtering it out would really be hard by the manager alone so thats why we would really thank up for concern individuals who do help up to catching up those cheaters.I guess this issue cant really be easily resolved.
7545  Economy / Gambling / Re: In-play Cash Out is Available with Planetofbets on: June 05, 2018, 09:37:06 PM

Have the same question on mind with BTCevo and now you clarified it which i do appreciate on such reply.Thefore, when you bet on team A and its winning i dont think most gamblers will decide to cashout before the match finishes since they do know that there would always be a deduction. OP didnt mention on whats the protocol in regards with that Cash out feature. He should make up some clarifications on rules so that there would be no questions on mind.

yeah maybe he should , but it's not a new thing since many other fiat sites have cash out option
also as I remember even sportsbet added it as well but not sure if it's for all the sports and games or for some only since I haven't used it and in general I never used cash out cause I believe the value stands before the match start
so I go for value betting no matter of what the short term results are , but cash out is nice in case you did a one big bet so you can minimize the loss or take small profit
This is the advantage on having this kind of feature where you can able to minimize loss when you saw up the game will really oppose on your bets but overall on most gamblers they would really stand up on their bets until the end.Im not really fan on using up this thing thats why im not really familiar on which sports betting sites do have this thing.

it has some uses for sure , but IMO the uses are rare unless you just gamble for the thrill
for example in todays match between Thiem and Zverev the cash out option would had been great , I had Thiem -2.5 games and Zverev was injured in set two
all the gamblers thought that Zverev will retire the game , so having the cash out would had guaranteed 80-90% of the profit
but if Zverev retired then the bet would had been voided

so sometimes cash out can really help you to lock in profit , so it's a nice plus for a site to have it anyways
Nice illustration!

I might considering on using this up or utilizing the usage of these cash out feature. This is my first time or gets my awareness about this matter. This would really be helpful on some possible scenarios which you can really lock profits. So this feature must really have on a site.
7546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Does Day Trading Means? on: June 05, 2018, 09:03:48 PM
Getting a little bit confuse here. What Does it means by day trading and are any advantages and disadvantages in day trading. Thanks
day traders are certainly different from investments, suppose there are people who trade today, people who buy wrong one altcoin and are sold that day, although they get a little profit, but they can sell and buy one day can several times, so they will quickly produce fortunately, but that's not everyone can, people who do day trading are people who have the speed to be able to analyze when he sells, and when they will buy it, if suppose we do not really understand better we invest only, by buying wrong one coin that we think the coin has a good potential for us to keep for a long time.
Indeed, where this is the difference between a long term and a short term trader/daytraders where they do really have an opposite way on making money from the word itself you can able to differentiate both things. Active trades do execute fast buy in and sell out which can potentially give out profits on a short period of time or at the end of the day but come to think off when we do talk about day trades it doesnt always means about profits but also in loss. Profitability would really be still depending on how skillful you are on doing short trades.
7547  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC is bullshit on: June 05, 2018, 08:28:46 PM
It's a bit frustation but when they require us to give KYC means that they are need something that act as collateral because they may experience many scam at past so they want to prevent bad things in the future.
Personally, I will give my KYC only if I trust the project 100% !

If I followed your logic I wouldn't give my information to anyone because I only trust myself 100%, even my wife would get 99%, and an online project launched by someone who I didn't even meet in person would be at 50% tops.

Nobody knows your details if you don't use KYC? What about everywhere else that has your data? Your mobile phone. Your internet. Your banking. Your Subway loyalty card. Are you a ghost? (...)

A bank can't compare to a coin exchange or an ICO. I had to set up a bank account even before I was 18 because this was the only way to get a job or receive scholarship. You have to do it or you won't be getting any money, ever. That's how the modern society is built. So, I didn't want to be a poor hermit all my life gathering berries and begging for money, I went to a bank and gave them my information.
This doesn't mean that I have to share this information with random people in the Internet. You can allow one or two companies to have your data and be completely fine. Start giving it away online and you'll get into trouble sooner or later and when that happens you won't even be able to tell who sold you. I feel rather safe knowing that if someone steals my identity it had to be the bank, or some other government institution, because nobody else has it. How about you?

Great points. I 100% agree with you.

I 99% agree. Smiley

Can i put up 101%?  Cool

By the way, even we do insist or not tend to give out informations online but still we already done such thing where it has being mentioned even just as simple with our bank informations they do already possess out our personal informations which even those institutions we arent still sure if we can assure those informations given would really be on safe side or wont really be used into other purpose. The thing differentiates when it comes to online is on how fast they do spread out.

Sign Up Here and Enjoy Super Inplay Offer; www.Planetofbets.ng

Do you mean that we can directly take out our cash whenever we do not want to continue it after the match is on play? Do you think it is good option? Lets assume that A vs B on soccer, first we bet on A to win then in the last minute B score a goal which is we can suddenly cancel our bet? Your site will not get money if you give this kind of thing in a play. Everytime they start to feel they are losing they will cancel their bet

it's not like you can cancel the bet totally and receive back your money
for example if you bet team A to win then team B scored and took the lead , if you have 100$ bet you can cash out 30$ for example
and same in case your team leads , let's say you placed 100$ on A to win with X2.00 odds you can also cash out if the team leads before the match finishes and get 40$ profit for example instead of 100$
Have the same question on mind with BTCevo and now you clarified it which i do appreciate on such reply.Thefore, when you bet on team A and its winning i dont think most gamblers will decide to cashout before the match finishes since they do know that there would always be a deduction. 7550  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The Marshall Islands replaces the US dollar with its own cryptocurrency on: June 04, 2018, 10:04:13 PM
It's a bold move, but at the same time a bit desperate too, launching a national cryptocurrency via an ICO. According to their law page, SOV is non-redeemable, 2.4 million tokens would be initially distributed to the citizens, 6 million to international investors, another 6 million to National /healthcare/climate fund, paying off debts and 50% to an Israel startup, Neema, the brain behind SOV, understandable, with RMI having a mobile penetration rate of 30% and internet with 19% it would cost a lot of money to build an infrastructure around SOV. As far as decentralization, you have a government issued cryptocurrency with a startup having 50% shares, questionable.

For obvious reasons, no anonymity and as far as manipulation:

Quote
SOV is the first fiat currency with anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism properties built in. All transactions on the SOV blockchain are identifiable, but not public.

To send SOV from a wallet, a user must first have an identity token provided by a pre-selected, reputable Know-Your-Customer (KYC) company. This way money always flows between identified accounts.

Once someone converts the coin to fiat money, there will be a face recognition process. This process does not exist at the initial offering stage, as is customary in ICOs. The technique will be using face detection technology to make sure that it is the right person who draws the money.

With a population of around 70,000, it does seem like a good environment to experiment with a national cryptocurrency. Ecuador tried to experiment with their own digital/electronic currency, failed. Let's see if RMI succeeds.

https://www.sov.global

https://www.budde.com.au/Research/Marshall-Islands-Telecoms-Mobile-and-Broadband-Statistics-and-Analyses
So what would be the entire supply of such digital currency? 2.4 million tokens would be initially distributed to the citizens which you have stated they do have 70,000 population i dont think it would really be sufficient. The thing i do like i on the allocated 6 million to National /healthcare/climate fund but another 6 million to international investors would really turn out to be skeptical for me.
7551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought on all time high on: June 04, 2018, 09:24:19 PM
Everyone made a mistake, and I guess your not alone. I did also buy at ATH last january, but hey, market is slowly recovering and I think it will pass ATH if this one will continue. Do not lose hope and do shortings so that you will accumulate more coins each day.

Unless you did not sell the cryptocurrency that you have already bought, there is no any mistakes. Just wait for the times when the coins in your wallet will gain.
Right, its not considered to be a mistake as long you are still holding those coins that you had bought on the peak. These kind of circumstances cant really be avoided because its always been part of the nature of coin prices not to be predictable where as a trader or investors pointing it out would really be always a challenge. The issue or thing on here to be worried about is on your emotion on how long would you last to cope up with the stress on seeing your portfolio on negative or deep reds?
7552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 04, 2018, 08:19:38 PM
Ok so Game 2 ended with another win from Golden State Warriors at 122 and Cavs at 103. No need for an over time today. On Game 3 I am guessing that Cavs will be again the one with the lower odds because of the winning streak of GSW but I think playing in the home court of Cavs will give them (Cavs) a better advantage. Why do I have a feeling that a repeat of GSW blowing a 3-1 lead again that happened in the 2016 finals?
GSW won again in Game 2. They dominated the whole game and didn't give the Cavs the chance to lead by many points. Curry made a record too for most 3 pt made in Finals history with 9.

Now Game 3 will be at QLA. The Cavs are in the same situation as they are in the ECF against the Celtics. This is a must win game for the Cavs because if they lose here, there is a huge chance that it is over and GSW will win in 5 games. The Cavs will be more dominate because its their home court but lets see on Wednesday how they will play against this Warriors team. Solid Warriors Smiley.

That is what I was about to same. Remember they are down 0-2 against the Boston Celtics and they are all relax and even laughing during the post game interview. So we know how capable they are. Also the 1-3 deficit couple of years was still fresh in our memory so I don't count out Cavaliers though.

So lets see how Cavaliers will response this time. I know that its a different team and a powerhouse Golden State, but they have shown in Game 1 that they can pull a upset. And it looks like the debacle of the first game was over because they look really focus. However, Golden State was really too much on time and they gave Lebron a hard time.
We can see the same situation while they are facing up Celtics and having the same scenario when it regards to the scores and now they are on Cavs HC then they might able to pull it up once again.Theres still hope for cav fans but same as you said this would be an another challenge because celtics and Warriors is really on different tier when it comes to players if they cant still move on on what happened on game 1 they would really derailed into their concentration on pulling out that game 3.
7553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Big Whales doing day trade with bitcoin? on: June 04, 2018, 07:42:00 PM
At first i was just thinking that it is normal because there are many investors and some of them had sold their bitcoin due to their needs or whatsoever reason they sell their bitcoin though the price for now is not that good for selling. Yet, It has been almost 2 weeks when i saw bitcoin market price moves up and down and i think there must be a big whale doing day trade. What can you say about the falling and rising of bitcoin market price lately?

Well we all know that whales are very powerful, we even speculate that they can move and shake the market with their huge sell ro bull order so its really possible that they are also doing some day trading but I doubt that they are doing though in huge volumes.

Whales have shit loads of bitcoin, so for them to day trade is easy, however, maybe in a hundred of bitcoins a day is good to them to make easy money though so I assume that they are not doing it in thousand but perhaps around 50-100BTC only.
Whales is whales and they do really have the capability on shaking up the entire market but when we do talk about which coin they would target of they can easily pump it out specially on altcoins with low volume but since we are talking about day trade about bitcoin then they are really influencing it but the question is about we wont even know on how they do move, active trading is profitable for them yet they do have the capacity since they do have the large funds to move on which is normal for a whale. They do earn big time and lose big time depending on how they do move.
7554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 03, 2018, 10:16:04 PM
The other members of the Cleveland Cavaliers must play! LeBlanc James has scored 50 points. What else can you ask him to do? Those role players need to play in the open three-point Cleveland Cavaliers to win!
Refuel the Cleveland Cavaliers, refueling LeBlanc James!
They are playing as usual but the problem is they are not contributing too much in offense and they are poor in defense too. The Cavs are one of the worst team in defense. They must improve especially the offensive and defensive things in order to win in this series. Love contributed too but not that much and the other players didn't.

I can't forget how JR Smith dribble the ball on the half court and saying "I thought we are ahead" after the buzzer sounds. Cheesy
Some sense should have been knocked into that dude at the end of the game. Even if you were ahead in the game, that doesn’t mean that you should not be scoring as well what kind of mentality is that.
Among in this list the recent one would really be historical.  Cheesy

Good luck to that project, but "Eat BCH" sounds like a horrible name for a charity project.
They could change it to something more unique.Anyway, the best form of charity would be to teach a poor man phishing, instead of giving him fish. Grin
Yes, I agree. The name sounds scary to me. "Eat BCH", some people will take it in a literal sense. They should not even have mentioned BCH. If you want to feed people, why are you promoting BCH. I am not against feeding poor people, and I really salute their work. On the other hand, this is what people should do. They should help people using the cryptocurrency and as well as showing it to people who do not know it yet. Good luck!
Im having the same thoughts or the thing turns out to be an advertisement rather than on the the charity works that have been done.Im not also against it but let the people recognize on whose the one feeding it up those poor people. No need to pronounce or be proud yet any coins specially bitcoin can do such thing too without even the need on making a news. I have Roger Ver and the the site on where the article was posted.  Cool
7556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC is under $8K? on: June 03, 2018, 09:06:21 PM
Now BTC is under $8K, do you have any opinions about this issue?
Why bother asking if the price of bitcoin didn't go higher than $8,000 and if it's under $8,000 now then it only means many loves to sell.

We think BTC will go uptrend to reach over $10K but it can be now.
Everyone else are positive about bitcoin though we can see it on a bad mood right now.

Keep the optimism remain because we may not tell when the good days will come.
I do believe that it will. I even expected that it will have a market value of 10000$ lately, but those expectations are shattered because is market value fell. But still, I beleive that it will reach a market price of 8000$ before this year end since its market price is now recovering. There's still enough time for Bitcoin to make it happen. And hoping that things will now go infavor with Bitcoin.
That expectation was very low but I can't blame you for thinking that it will happen as the market has been dropping lately.

Have you seen the market today? the price moved up so quick and I don't think that the whales will allow us to see it for a longer time. $7,500 is the highest for this day and no wonder if we eventually see bitcoin price goes up again to $8,000 and the next will be the ATH's.

Yes, the price is really the highest today is $ 7500. Still, I think that in June the price will reach 10,000. It's just necessary at the moment! For a long time the price has not risen above 9500!
Reaching out 10k on this month of june would really be hard to believe yet we can base on current btc price movement its even hard to reach or break out that 8k price how much more on reaching 10k but well anything can happen on next day or month. No one really knows on when whales would decide up to have a bull run but rest assured we can see the potential of bitcoin to rise up its price on future months or years to come.We shouldnt wonder why we are still on this low range on its price.
7557  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Invest In Somewhere And Then Play With Daily Earnings on: June 03, 2018, 08:14:51 PM
If you wanna play smart, you can invest somewhere and then play with your daily profit, so if you loose, next day you can tray to win. For example, you can play Dice, and if you do not win today, you can win tomorrow. Or even better, you can play on weekends, so your balance can be even larger. And when you win, just withdraw your profit.  Grin

This is a smart plan. But what do you do when your site investment is actually decreasing
day after day when the players are getting lucky? Even though an investment in a site bankroll
is usually +EV (=has a positive expectation), you can still have a long losing streak as an investor.

If I recall it correctly, the total profit of the dice site Bustadice was negative for nearly 5 months, because a few
whales won big and it took a long time until the investors recovered their losses.

This should be take into consideration.I do know whats on the mind of OP even though he lose up money on the site on where he do invest but still he do think that he might end up on gaining profits without even thinking other players as well even the house do always end up on winning in the end but not on all times and as you said there would be always a tendency that house have -EV for a particular month which would lead up negative on both sides on your part.
7558  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get BTC for Writing skills on: June 03, 2018, 07:39:15 PM
A lot of job seeking platforms offer vacancies for writers, you can try to apply for appropriate job postings and get hired. Freelancer, Upwork are rather reliable, but you need to gain some reputacy to be noticed among competitors. You can also send your CV/resume to a writing service like https://bid4papers.com/write-my-essay.html , this type of companies is very popular today and they always need writers ready to work immediately (the salaries can differ depending on a company).

If.you really good at writing then you can create a topic on the service section which includes all your skills stated and previous experience if you have and desired amount for the project. And also you can try it on bounties which have translation campaign if your language have appropriate for translation then you can earn some tokens too.

For the sake of reminding people on here. Have you considered on the date on when op posted this thread? This is necroposting and its 2 years already and theres no need to be bumped out.

@topic writing skills do really have space on this cryptocurrency market which most of them can be found out on services or bounties section just on this forum. Not mentioning other websites because i do prefer on this place due to salary or payrate compared to other people which is far way more better.

7559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis bullshit? on: June 03, 2018, 07:12:22 PM
I am not yet sure if TA actually works with crypto currencies.
I haven't had any success with pure TA so far. However fundamentals and news seems to do better job at predicting the price of a crypto.

Or Am I doing it wrong? I tried a simple RSI strategy to trade and it didn't workout well.

Should I even bother with technical analysis when it comes to cryptos?

Technical analysis doesnt work anytime with crypto trading which we do all know that this is very an unpreditable market prices can change from time to time at least we expected but i do still see lots of people do make rely on their technical analysis but together with fundamentals. You are not being forced to believe that its working but just stick on the things where you are profitable. If you found out that fundamentals is better then better just rely on it.
7560  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [31-05-1018] In the World of Cryptocurrency, Even Good Projects Can Go Bad on: June 02, 2018, 02:46:36 PM
This is donating for charity or simply crowdfunding, not investing. Grin

I don't believe anything anywhere in crypto can ever be considered investing. It's all degrees of speculation.

As far as I can tell your only hope with an ICO is selling your token for more than you paid for it to someone else who intends to do the same. There's no other type of return and never will be. That don't smell sustainable to me.
Even i do love crypto i can really say that those ICO projects wont really be sustainable for longer runs i dont even think on how investors would make profits for a period of time which we do all know profits would come to those who invested also and the cycle continues without minding too much on the project development or whatsover thats why i dont even see the idea why there are still projects do almost launch their sale on everyday basis. Its too much i guess and its not really necessary.
