I do confirm my identity as Samuel Noi, the team structure has changed since when the project started. Howard Wang left the project in August and left for the U.S. to complete his studies and work there. Michael Sparmann has consulted for us and developed software for the 65nm interface and currently is in touch with me, awaiting for a chat with the new technical team. The ownership of the company will be passed from Mr. Tatti to me during the next month.
Which "company"? There is no company called "Labcoin", only ITEC PRO LTD.. Someone who isn't me brought some documents on www.icris.cr.gov.hk about ITEC and uploaded them: Certificate of Incorporation PS300014752260_01.pdf (24 KB) https://mega.co.nz/#!et4EzBLJ!DfK8K0LgtZKwrUYhgSGeeBEF7IUHTEII3jcgspj4WN4 Memorandum & Articles of Association PS300014752281_01.pdf (213 KB) https://mega.co.nz/#!LthC0azQ!IoImsmVoWPQTTUKmL4ckynoDOOUnBDOtcBHN9VmVGdQ FNC1 - Incorporation Form (Company Limited by Shares) PS300014752281_02.pdf (185 KB) https://mega.co.nz/#!a1gwSbJJ!MYgM_yxVQCldiBa2okELUjEo1mVZDptUHseLSp6tpBA

Some data on the shares: Announcement from Labcoin: News
Regarding shares owned by the Labcoin founders and developers.
Due to inquiries LABCOIN has received from investors, the founders and developers involved in the LABCOIN project has decided to voluntarily lock in 75% of all shares owned by the LABCOIN core team for 12-months.
This means that no founder or developer owning shares in LABCOIN will sell an excess of 25% of their shares for at least 365 days from today's date.
This is being publicly announced to set to rest any concern that the LABCOIN team has any interest in liquidating their holdings in the project.
Q: Why not lock in 100%? A: Simply because we feel that it is only fair to allow the members of the LABCOIN team that wishes to sell smaller portions of their ownership should they need some Bitcoin for any unforeseen expense during the first year of operations. Old response from burnside: Over 85% of the 3 million shares have not left a specific account I know is held in the Labcoin name. The other 15% could easily be held in any of the next few top shareholders, but I am not privy to who is who without some assistance. New response from burnside: I see ~2 million currently held in their account. I do not know however if some were sold, or if they were simply transferred to another account that is also a holding account. So this is inconclusive information.

So the question right now: what is Alberto's connection to Labcoin, to what degree is he involved and what are the implications?
|
|
|
Apparently Labcoin is now linked to Jean Michel Jarre.
It's the fisheye lens that really makes that photo.
Reversed image search ftw. How thoughtless of me. Thanks for pointing this out so fast.

I haven't threatened him at all. Where are you getting this? My bad, you're right. I'm reading to much between the lines probably, sorry.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=263445.msg3257327#msg3257327 If Labcoin wasn't a scam, burnside wouldn't be running away right now. He is partially liable. Even the transaction fees from which he has profited from, since they were used to purchase [possibly] fraudulent shares, could land burnside in a lot of trouble. His legal barriers right now are not the "unknowns", because what is going on here is quite known. Doesn't anyone also find it very strange the timing of these two events? You may think it's strange, but this justifies no conclusion like this without further evidence or indication.

Bump. This is exactly what is going on. Burnside needs to know that we know this, and is provable beyond a reasonable doubt.
Why do you insist so much to threaten burnside with legal actions etc.?

I go so far that I say: it's safe.
As long as BTCT is open, you are able to trade AM shares there or export them to BF or HL. After the closure - as intended in Octobre or not intended earlier for whatever reason - all remaining shares should be converted to direct shares. Friedcat receives the list with all shareholders frequently for exactly this case and as far as I know: he is prepared. Make sure your public withdrawal address is one you can control.
The only failure I see here is an unintended shutdown between the time of the last report to friedcat and the next one. Asset issuers receive the list with all shareholders two times a day at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC.

You are right. Those coins landed in Labcoin's wallet, but we don't know when they were mined. Labcoin set their threshold for hourly payouts to .05 BTC and the other transactions you have spotted were probably a surplus which was manually (?) pushed. Some days ago they were visible in the team ranking under the name "labcoin", but I didn't saw them in the last hours. This means their hashrate never exceeded approximately 680 GH/s or those weren't mined under the team banner "labcoin".

Please do allow it unless you have good evidence of that. There are people on the Labcoin thread claiming that btc-tc was brought down singularly because it hosted Labcoin, and spreading rumors that are harmful to bitcoin generally. If they are lying to destroy a security, then letting them win will encourage such behavior in the future.
Let me phrase it this way: I've never seen so many attempts (dozens of sockpuppets, faked announcements, man in the middle attacks etc.) to create an effect on the market. Labcoin has both operational as well as technical problems, but I'm pretty sure it's no full blown scam.

Hi burnside, could you please confirm, if the Labcoin shares are still where they should be? Did you get in contact with them, by the way?
|
|
|
Only reason I know this security will succeed is all the hate that people have towards them. It's a contrarian indicator. When you have losers on BTCGuild, make up names like more than Labcoin, Labcoin liars, you know things will get very good. You're mixing things. You may use the sentiment as indicator for market movement, but not to determine the success of a company. How about Avalon liars who hasn't delivered chips, or the countless of other scams, nahhhhh we just like to bash Labcoin, even though they are hashing. Always bet against the idiots. Like recently all the dumbasses buying the stock market at all time highs, crashing hard the last 4 days.
Shareholders bash Labcoin and not Avalon, because they are concered about Labcoin and Avalon has nothing to do in this context.

Please, Burnside, Please, please please send this information out as an email to all btct users. If there is anybody who does not check these forums often they might not realize anything is going on. Why was the announcement not sent as an email in the first place?
News published on BTCT can be forwarded as email and asset issuers also have shareholders' email addresses to contact them off of BTCT. I suggest - if it's relevant for shareholders of a specific security, to use this feature in a timely manner. P.S.: Thanks Carnth, very apprichated!

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO USERS OF BTCT AND LITECOIN GLOBALPlease make sure you set your public withdrawal address on BTCT and Litecoin Global and you are in control of this address. Team CipherMine and other asset issuers on BTCT and Litecoin-Global may ask you to provide proof of ownership of this address by signing a message. This is necessary to identify you as shareholder after BTCT and Litecoin Global have shut down. Please take a look at the following post on bitcointalk.org for more information, details and instructions of this process:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=283947.msg3233637#msg3233637

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL CIPHERMINE-PT SHAREHOLDERS AND USERS OF BTCT AND LITECOIN GLOBAL IN GENERALPlease set your public withdrawal address on BTCT and Litecoin-Global.In case you didn't do it already, please head over to your account settings on BTCT and Litecoin Global and go to "Settings". There is a field with the label "Public Withdrawal Address". It is extremely important that you enter a Bitcoin and Litecoin address that you own and control. You may need to sign a message with that address and a shared wallet address (e.g. Bitstamp deposit address) is not sufficient. Please see this picture for instructions: Why is this important?Asset issuers receive a list containing all public witthdrawal addresses as well as the amount of shares you hold frequently. After the shutdown of BTCT and Litecoin Global this address will be used to identify you as shareholder and to map the amount of CIPHERMINE/CIPHERMINE-PT shares you hold. If you miss this step, you run into the risk that CipherMine is unable to map your shares to you. You might need to proof that you are the owner of this address. How can you be sure that you are able to proof the ownership of your withdrawal address?Ownership of an address can be shown by signing a message with your Bitcoin/Litecoin address. Only the one with control over the private key (or wallet) is able to generate a valid signature for this address. With the stock Bitcoin QT client, you can sign a message by clicking on "Receive" and then right click on the address you'd like to use to sign a message with. If you want to try it yourself, please choose "Sign Message" as shown in the following picture: Please make sure that you chose the correct address which you'd like to sign a message with (3). After entering a message (4), you can click on "Sign Message" (5) and a signature for this specific address and exactly this message you have entered will be generated. You now have the following data: Address: 13AK4qMJh1fon7e2SpJ3bmm6mDUaq2kqQU Message: Hello, this is dexX7 and I'm the owner of the BTCT address "13AK4qMJh1fon7e2SpJ3bmm6mDUaq2kqQU". I will use this address to proof ownership and claim my CIPHERMINE shares. Signature: H7K+KXAwzpxy1thK1bi9uL7KySNIngH7jT6OnxZx4quBA65JKiOuvDqQLf2ODEwoqrOKgCYzFxo5Ps7CelBaKf0= A signature can be verified in the section "Verify Message" in the Bitcoin QT client. You can also head over to http://brainwallet.org/#verify and verify a signature. The following picture shows this process for http://brainwallet.org/#verify: TL;TR: please make sure you set your public withdrawal address on BTCT and Litecoin Global and you are in control of this address. Team CipherMine and other asset issuers on BTCT and Litecoin-Global may ask you to provide proof of ownership of this address by signing a message. This is necessary to identify you as shareholder after BTCT and Litecoin Global have been shut down. Please don't hesitate to ask, if you need assistance in this process.
