Дело в отношении дева к проекту. Анонс был более месяца назад, при этом без каких либо деталей. В духе "ещё один шиткоин на ethash", не эмиссии, не награды за блок, никакой абсолютно инфы. Но всё же решил проследить за проектом. Был таймер до запуска, да это круто. Но когда он закончил отсчёт, ничего не произошло. Не появилось никакой информации на сайте, ни в аннотации. Деву тупо пофиг на свой проект настолько, что даже в тему на форуме заглянуть не удосужился. Он вообще заинтересован в поддержке майнеров или нет? В моём часовом поясе это была глубокая ночь. Расчитывал по быстрому написать батник и лечь спать. Увидев что кошельков не выложили, ушёл на боковую. А с утра оказалось, я должен был накатить виртуальную машину с *nix и компилировать там кошель(хотя даже для этого исходники непонятно откуда надо было взять). Дев никак вобще не подготовился к запуску. Нормальную аннотацию с инфой о монете сделал только после запуска(хотя кошеля под винду,блок эксплорера и хоть какого-то роадмапа я там не вижу до сих пор), ещё и 12% награды за блок себе забирает как мастернода. Т.е. всё что смог сделать дев- придумать название монеты и её эмиссию. Даже тупо кошелек коммьюнити за него должно сделать себе... Мне кажется, даже школьник более многообещающе мог бы сделать, лол) Пожалуй обойду проект стороной, ибо даже представить трудно как такой дев может продвинуть монету(никак). В отличие от "продвинутых" пользователей, которые сами себе делают кошельки, биржи сами на себя листить не будут. И монета сама свою стоимость не будет наращивать. P.S. Пишу по русски потому что мне так же пофиг на мой пост, как деву на его коин. Кто захочет и сможет, тот поймёт и переведёт Кратко: Разраб - гандон. I thought that 0 POS means zero reward for POS. I let my wallet running for 3 days now, staking icon is reporting ENABLED all the time, but there are no new coins generated by staking. Using config from the first post. Is this "POS" designed only for "big holders" with 10k+ and more coins in the pocket or are "smaller" wallets (100s-1000+) suitable to generate POS too? It is not No% or 0%. With todays ammount of coins and speed of mining/staking. In a year you will receive about 15% Average staking coins during a year from today=90000000+100*60*24*365/3*1,5 = 116280000 Amount of POS coins =100*60*24*365/3 = 17520000 116280000 : 17520000 = 15.06% It is the percentage for ideal situation where all coins are in wallets staking (and it is very estimate not taking into account many variables). So if you won't move coins (and others will) you will get more. If the maxstaking time would be longer (60,90 days) - you could have got even more if you don't move coins, but it is only 16days. P.S. What is more interesting: staking of exchanges wallet is on? |

Don't think I'd ever BUY HDD's for this but I have them already now.
32 TB of drive is slightly MORE expensive (at NewEgg pricing on the Seagate Externals) than most GTX 1080 ti cards - which pull in close to $3/day each at this point. Tradeoff is the ELECTRIC usage of that 1080ti will be in excess of 160 watts and more likely close to 200 watts to achieve that income level, while the 4 hard drives are eating around 50 watts AT PEAK and quite a bit LESS most of the time. Oh come on. What 3$/day are you talking about? With HDD you don't have many options. Burst, Storj, Sia ... that's all we have at the moment. The only "profitable" is Burst if ROI of 2+ years can be called profitable. With GPU you can mine everything you like. 3$ days make 1080 not 1080ti. There are of course people who mine at nicehash ... ok let them mine. At the moment HDD mining is completely unprofitable. |

I actually don't need the money. Its a matter of looking at the big picture and accepting the fact that 1) 1080TIs profitability is dying and 2) your shitcoins will never be worth anything. I actually challenge you to tell us what those "better price" coins are. There are thousand of intelligent researchers out there everyday looking for the next most promising coin. When they find this, it is announced online and everyone buys it. I highly doubt 1 person like you can compete with all the experienced scouts and investors out there. Your calculations are wrong. 30$ per 2Tb is the price for the customer. As I remember 40% of that go to storj and 60% are divided between "miners". There are at least 3 of them to maintain redundancy (i don't remember exactly but I think it is minimum). So in the best case you will receive 20% if 30$ for storage = 6$ The is additional payment for traffic which can increase this but it is just luck to get much downloaded files. In another words - not worth it at all. Burst is the same 32Tb for 2 months - 60$ at current prices. 1 gpu which cost was equal to ~16TB made twice of that (at least) aproximately the same time - it is 80$ still on balance but sold around half already. HDD mining can be done if you have money for long term investment but don't have electricity/space for additional GPUrigs. Just to make some more, rather stable, profit from existing rigs. |
