Desperately stuck with mining unknown coins for the 1080TIs now eh? Most available coins are no longer profitable enough for 1080TI compared to other GPUs.

Because of the high power consumption / power-profit ratio it appears mining is dead for the 1080ti. I'd rather sell my 1080TIs while they still have value then just buy the power efficient 1060. I mean come on, the 1060 is about 1/3 the price. You can buy 3 and double your ETH hash rate, for less power. Seems like a no-brainer.
Your ti cards will lose 30% price max while those 1060 will lose more then 50% when mining dies in next year or two. Also eth isnt the only profitable coin to mine atm, there are still coins where ti can earn 3-5$ or more
I'd really like to see those.I call BS.
$3... Maybe. $5? Never. You live in LaLaLand.

About 4 is normal at the moment for me

edit: found it
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2137705.0

how many votecoins can you get per 1080ti atm?

So many people jumping in it's hard to say. It was 500, but now it's more like 200-250

A lot of you using the Sniffdog multipool miner?

Seeing better results than single coin mining so far.

Only wondering if it's possible to tweak a little bit more. Like setting a static difficulty for the algos to get rid of any rejected hashrate. Already changed it to only mine on hashrefinery and zpool for convenience.

Sometimes seeing crazy results like over 10$/day for some algos at some times on a single 1080ti. Only, it's just for a short while before it switches to the next. Maybe the intervals of it switching algo can be tweaked. Seems to lose some time every time it connects to the pool in a new miner window.

Anyway, it's a great miner.

That value's are real for that given period of time (ofc if Your pool are able to find blocks in that period). That's one of the reasons why if You use it and got more than one card, You'll end up earning more than 2$ WTM blind people are claiming Smiley

Just because you don't like the idea of the coin, doesn't mean it will or won't be profitable for somebody.
If we all just stuck to mining the top 10 coins and never tried new entries, it would be a pretty stale and boring community.

By far Zcash and its variants at the moment, although I'm also curious about some other exotic coins, 1080 ti dominates every other card for a particular set of coins...

Top 10 coins is not bad strategy. At least they don't change around value so fast as small coins.

The only information I've been able to find so far is https://steemit.com/blockchain/@afukichi/zcash-soaring-zcash where they mentioned Korean exchanges.

The 1060s suck for everything else. You are way better off with rx 470s. And you can't get better hash/watt ratio than the 1080ti. But if you still want to sell them and buy 1060 PM me with a price I'll take them ;p

Sorry but better hash/watt ratio for what? Some shitcoin that will be worth 0 in the coming future? No thanks man. Sure take my 1080ti man. The burden is all yours.

you probably need the money asap, most of us dont. We keep the coins until they reach a better price.
That card is obviously not for you. You should move on.

I actually don't need the money. Its a matter of looking at the big picture and accepting the fact that 1) 1080TIs profitability is dying and 2) your shitcoins will never be worth anything. I actually challenge you to tell us what those "better price" coins are. There are thousand of intelligent researchers out there everyday looking for the next most promising coin. When they find this, it is announced online and everyone buys it. I highly doubt 1 person like you can compete with all the experienced scouts and investors out there. Let me repeat, your shitcoins will never be worth anything. Pump and dump dump dump.

sniffdog, 3.8/card last day,not happy.
How do you get $5/card?

sniffdog, 3.1 per card last day, just 18 hours worked, cause some night troubles.
Not $5/card, but at least better than zec.
Can you possibly share your settings please?
Is that on zpool, MPH or Hashrefinery by the way?
I'd like to get Sniffdawwgg to work on my rig of 1080's. Wasn't able to find where the intensities where hidden in the powershell scripts but maybe folks here can shed some light on that.

I think my settings will be useless for you.. I just added my account on MPH to default settings, delete couple algos(I've been crashed on them  Huh), and set interval to 300 after benchmarking. That's all.
I use all available pools, ahashpool and your list.

By the way, I tried to find intensities too, but not success on it... I think my cards crash on some algos, cause intensity is too high for them.
Just edit the ps1 files in miners folder

Any advice on what intensities to put on each algo? I'm running Sniffdog on standard settings at the moment on all 4 pools.

Note - MPH has a 0.003 BTC withdrawal charge! I guess I'll leave my balance in there for a while so it's less of a hit in my pocket rather than withdrawing every week.

I only have 1 x 1080Ti and am getting around £2.50 - £3 per day. I'm going to try a few different approaches in the next couple of days to see if I can get it any higher.

nope, you bought and/or mine that crap and now you want to make money with it, fine. But read the topic again "1080Ti Specific - Best mining option". Your shitcoin is NOT a good mining option for ANY GPU and you know it. Also, NO,not many people are jumping on that coin, only a few clueless kids. Im not saying you will lose money, you probably will even make money, but this doesnt belong here, and again, you know it.
