Hi buddy, Mr. Siti25's Merit Service is already locked.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Lets talk about avoiding scam on: February 17, 2018, 02:32:21 AM
There are lot of scammers we had encountered from the past and I'm  pretty sure that we will still encounter scammers in the future. But in this topic we will focus on Scammers from Signature Campaigns. We are just participants, when we found an interesting signature campaign. We apply immediately without hesitation, and that's the common problem why we are getting scammed. Because we are careless, but is it really our fault? Or those fucking scammers who made those fucking scam Campaigns? We just wanted to earn bitcoin and because of our excitement we didn't even notice that the campaign is suspicious. Besides that, we will be called "shitposters" because we apply in suspicions campaign.

Im just thinking that maybe we can do something to avoid these scam projects.
For example, in a particular campaign. Why it is hard for the Manager to escrow the funds? What's the problem? Are they scared? Or because they can manage a campaign without escrow? I know that some signature campaign still pays their participants although they didn't have escrow. But usually those are trusted Managers.
But how about those Campaign managers with "Newbie" accounts. They know that they're untrusted but still they don't want to have escrow. Then they will say that "we are not scam, we dont force you to join if you dont want". If they are really not a scam. Let's somehow prove it by having an escrow.

I think we should add "Having Escrow is required " to the rules of our Forum for Every Signature Campaigns that will be made here in Bitcoin Forum>Economy>MarketPlace>Services and also for other campaigns here (I'm not including Signature Campaigns and bounties in the Altcoin Section as they give tokens not Bitcoins) . This is to avoid scammers only, not to destroy their images. Every single campaign should have escrow except if the Manager is a trusted member of the forum.

Guys What do you think? Smiley  I still need your suggestions about this idea. We should act immediately.

Hi Manager, Is the payment day is today? I Thought it will be Monday because counting of posts will be on Monday according to the rules. But I just noticed in the spreadsheet that campaign is from February 9 to 15.

Or I'm just mistaken. It must be the date where the campaign will stop accepting participants. Which is the right one Sir?
767  Other / Meta / Re: A Little more information about merits on: February 14, 2018, 04:18:33 PM
Hi guys, I just came up to this conclusion. As we all knew, according to our ranks we only got a limited amount of merits to be given away. How if all of us ran out of merit points to give? I'm just a little curios what will happen. I haven't read any threads about this topic.

Some of the more trusted senior members act as merit sources, ie. they receive part of a monthly pot of sendable merits to distribute amongst posts they deem constructive. In other words, there's a steady inflow of new sendable merits coming in.

See here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0
Thanks for the Information Sir. So they are what we called merit soruce. Maybe I just missed to read that part when the first time I visit that thread. The required merit points to rank to Sr.Member carried me away from reading the rest of the thread hehe. Well, this topic is answered. This can now be deleted Smiley
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2018, 04:06:37 PM
Many of us may have read that 2018 will be game over for bitcoin.Every now and then have seen that every Tom, Dick & Harry Coin claims that their blockchain technology is better than bitcoin and they will solve the real issue with bitcoin network but in reality no one is even close to that.

Is there a alternate to bitcoin to replace it?

Can this crypto economy survive without bitcoin?

Well, I don't actually believed that this year will be the game over of bitcoin. But I do believed that we can survive without bitcoin. The answer is obviously "Yes we can". We were already surviving when bitcoin first showed up to us. Bitcoin just happened to showed up to help us to survive. Because bitcoin helps us in our daily lives as we used it for payments and other expenses. We really don't have to rely too much in bitcoin. All we need is a proper job.

That's why there is no reason for us to starve just because there is no bitcoin. Because before bitcoin, we are already a survivors.

770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: February 14, 2018, 03:41:53 PM
I mostly mine and hodl, but my friend day trades and says I should start getting into it. What do you prefer to do and do you think there is a better route to take? I personally think it's all up to personal preference, I'm new though.
Preference on how will you make profit out of crypto depends on the user itself. Trading in my opinion is a bit risky unlike investing especially with bitcoin where profit has a more chance to be earned due to the high demand on the market. But the best thing to do is to try all of it and see it for yourself.
Yuph, that's right. It really depends on the user itself. Like me, I used to earn profit form bitcoin by joining campaigns and holding the bitcoins I eaned until a good time to sell bitcoins comes. By doing this hold and sell strategy. I can earn  money without doing too much work. I think this strategy is the easiest way to earn money from bitcoin.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: February 14, 2018, 03:10:42 PM
If earning money from bitcoin satisfied all of your daily needs, then there is no problem to quit your job and focus in earning bitcoin. But I highly recommend you to keep your job although your earning money from bitcoin. It is called hard working. It is much better to have a job while earning money from bitcoin as a side Income. In this case you can be able to save money immediately and doubly. Bitcoin's price is fluctuating, we cant just rely to bitcoin because it's price is tremendous, and we are not so sure if bitcoin will stay forever. How if, yeah you saved a bunch of bitcoins but unfortunately, bitcoin become worthless or valueless. Then all of your sufferings in saving bitcoin will be a complete waste. That is why, having job  is recommended first before anything else. Because job is a permanent source of income. You will only lose your job if you didn't do you works right. Not like bitcoin, although you do right things, you may still lose it.
772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin falling? on: February 14, 2018, 02:45:02 PM
Bitcoin has fallen by more than 56 percent since the turn of the year, after peaking at nearly $20,000 in December 2017.

CoinMarketCap price charts show that bitcoin has been falling for weeks, though this latest crash has been blamed on mounting confusion surrounding the Indian Government’s stance on cryptocurrencies.

To be honest, I never find or see bitcoin as falling.
I agree, Bitcoin is not really actually falling. Maybe the price of bitcoin is just getting down but we cant say that bitcoin is falling down. Decreasing of bitcoin's price is normal due to its volatility. This happens every year if not mistaken, bitcoin really goes down and goes up in time and we cannot stop it. If you can just notice, after this big down of bitcoin's price last January. Bitcoin is starting to recover little by little because it is starting to rise again.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: February 14, 2018, 09:04:23 AM
I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?
If there is a new currency next to bitcoin, well Its definitely Ethereum. But in your case, it seems right too. But no, It will not. Before we say that Litecoin can surpass bitcoin. Litecoin must surpass Ethereum first because Ethereum is our present digital currency next to bitcoin. Even Ethereum has no 50% chance of surpassing Bitcoin, Litecoin? Hmmm how can you say so?
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin making the world go crazy? on: February 13, 2018, 09:16:06 AM
Well you're right. Too many people are getting crazy to bitcoin. Even people who only do fruads (becuase they are lazy to earn bitcoin. They do hacking or pishing stuffs) are crazy to bitcoin, Even you or me. They almost do everything just to get bitcoins everyday, and there is only 2 in my opinions why we are getting crazy in bitcoin.

The first thing is,
1.Because of bitcoin's price. People are encouraged to earn bitcoin patiently because of its tremendous price. Just think about if bitcoin's price isn't tremendous. No one will be attracted to bitcoin.  bitcoin's price can also turned  people's head away from their job because most of people chose to earn money from bitcoin that actual jobs.

And the second one is,
2. Because bitcoin is popular and updated to our new world of technologies, Most of people already knew what is crypto currency but not all of them knews all kind of currencies. Commonly, people only knew Bitcoin from all of crypto currencies because it is popular and bitcoin is the only currency we often heard in our community. That's why bitcoin has a more chance of possibility to be used that other currencies. And also, for rich peoples. Im sure They don't want to be outdated about latest technologies or some latest stuff. It is frequently the reason why they joined crypto currency world. It's because they don't want to be outdated.
775  Economy / Economics / Re: how many coke cans you can buy with one dollar in your country? on: February 13, 2018, 08:00:44 AM
how many coke cans you can buy with one dollar in your country?
I want to know the buying power for the dollar in different countries.

In Egypt, one can buy 3 cans (350ml) of coke for one dollar approximately

Don't you use the Egyptian Pound as currency?  What are you asking exactly?
Is it how much can we buy with an American dollar or one of our own currency units?

One dollar is obviously one dollar not any other currency.
And if we would use 1 unit of our local currency we couldn't compare the results with each other either.

In my country I can't get even 1 can with 1 dollar.
1 can of coke in my country costs 1,35$ Shocked
Wow. Thats was too expensive. What is your country then? Here in my country, although the price of coke has rise becuase of some issue. You can still buy 2 cans or 2 bottles of coke with 1 dollar. Coke is not too expensive here , also other softdrinks too. They're price are all the same.

In China, about 6.6RBM can buy 3 cans of 330ml cola.

It seems that the price of Coca Cola is similar in many places!

Coca Cola has its own factory in China, so the price is relatively cheap!
Maybe this is the same reason why cokes and other softdrink are cheap here in our country. It is because we have our own Coca Cola Factory.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dangerous ? on: February 11, 2018, 02:11:54 AM
i want to ask what makes the bitcoin dangerous? to the point that many countries prohibit the use of bitcoin in their countries. I want to hear your opinion
Actually, bitcoin never be dangerous. Bitcoin is just a asset (or currency) that everybody can use everyday. That "dangerous" world belongs to those people who uses bitcoin for dangerous activities. Nowadays, too many stupid people are really continuing using bitcoin for illegal transaction. Like for buying or trading different kind of illegal drugs.

Although bitcoin has a good effect in our lives since it helps us in our financials. There are still some bad effects of bitcoin when we use it to bad. Like those bunch of stupid people who exploit bitcoin.
