But even if you were able to mine this scam, where do you want to sell it? On Yobit it's still only available on the futures market. You can't even have a deposit address for this "coin" there, so where do you transfer any coin? There was a user on the D3 forum bragging that he was making $100 per day mining this coin. But like you said there is nowhere to sell it. I'm sure YoBit will open deposits once the premine is sold. |

What did they do? - They set up a nice website and uploaded a video with a rocket to the moon
- Set up a github repo with code they have copied from another repo
- Adding their scam code and a few lines of irrelevant name changing
- Ask some exchanges to add their scam coin
- Make a lot of money selling their premined coins
- Write prepaid articles in press, such as lenta.ru, forklog, forbes, and so on, imposting themself as an original segwit2x.
You also forgot, delete any message that questions the coin. |

What are people mining on the "Official Pool"? If they are using BTC addresses what are they expecting to get? There must be some people from the exchanges in on this. And the 2 million premine is somehow distributed among all the "collaborating" parties. I suppose they are mining the transactions moving their b2x to the exchanges, in order to dump them. I know at YoBit if you try to get a B2X address you can't. So how did 650BTC worth of B2X get there? |

This scam has shaken my belief in crypto currencies.
I still can't believe that so many people believe in an obvious fraud so easily. This is the danger of the current hype about crypto currencies. There are more and more people who just want to make the quick money without even knowing anything about the basics. The fraud is so obvious if you check the their github repo.
Scam like this will be a major threat to Bitcoin in the future and a big danger for the trust in crypto as a whole. Why did so many people still believe in this scam? Are some people really that stupid?

These are probably clones/replicas of the original bitmain product. Im curious if anyone bought something like that and if the asics are reliable like the original ones. Also wondering if anyone has made any deals on Alibaba. I've been all over Alibaba for a couple months trying to find legit sellers. I've contacted probably every seller listing miners. Every single one of them wants to go wechat or whatsapp for sale and accept btc only. I cant get comfortable with that. I have tried working deals on Alibaba, the prices that get quoted are more then I can buy on E-Bay for. Right now they are quoting $3850 for an L3+, plus $200 for shipping. |
