761  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 18, 2016, 06:26:34 PM

I know that ViaBTC is backed by Bitmain, but it appears that Bitmain are playing both sides. It was recently revealed that Roger Ver was prepared to pay extra 12,5 BTC per block out of his own pocket to the ones who mine Bitcoin Unlimited.
762  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 18, 2016, 01:24:16 PM
The project is very much real, though one can speculate on the hash power.
763  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 18, 2016, 12:08:24 PM
From what I heard this is a real thing, they also support bitcoin unlimited no doubt thanks to Roger Ver - not sure how this will all pan out.

WTF?! Any proofs or sources?

you can get red trust from cryptodevil

cryptodevil already gave him a red trust. No need to bump this thread as I'm about to paint him in red as well. I was basically refrained myself from such actions, but this has to stop.

spartak my friend, you have  anice nam,but your karma is disaster...
dont know why you are so happy to give out negative trust,etc..this tell you that your soul is shit, and now run and give me negative trust...i do not care.
god see everything...
LEOcoin is not a scam coin.
also i only help to protect all to not use megacrypton..
i dont see anything bad i did but ok,you can say what you want..one day you will say omfg that ashole cryptotraider was right.Wink

There you go (except the understanding part):

You are in no position to describe what kind of a person am I, nor I will bother myself to explain on why LEOcoin is a scam. There are a lot of people here who are exposing scams (myself included, though I don't like to post much details (why? see picture above!)). But there are also a lot of "people" like you, who will "sing their songs", until they make their $5 profit and move to another scheme, no matter how many people got hurt.

F* you and thank you very much!

Hello,

Some hours ago I've been told that a laptop with a FAIL wallet (with no backup) contained some 4,5 million coins was stolen earlier this year. This is more than 20% of the coin's supply! I am really sorry for that huge loss! So it appears that FailCoin current supply is about 16,5 million (as I'm guessing the laptop was formatted). Really sad...

Cheers,
Spartak

I think Earthcoin looks good.

You're kidding, right? EAC was a pump & dump scheme from the start and its currently not being dumped, because majority of the coin is controlled by the Chinese. Let (for example) Poloniex list it and see what happens. Its market cap will drop from $1,24Mn to 0 faster than a bullet shot against a wall. Charts are not lying:

Bitmain dominating Bitcoin would be pretty bad - as bad as any one single entity dominating Bitcoin. The system is designed to work best when the interest of participants stays disparate.

They've stated that they will "only own small part of the farm and the rest would be owned by miners".

And as we speak (and wasting our time as I didn't saw a single satisfying answer), India is buying Bitcoin @ $890: https://twitter.com/bulgar1an/status/799208813769453568

THE question is WHY?

Roshan is a douche and I regret that I have put my trust in him. Just leave this to die, no matter what he tries to explain in future. Forget about your loss and stop being hypocrites, thinking that there could be a "final push" to dump your bags on some noobs.
772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a question to the people who lives in India on: November 16, 2016, 02:33:05 PM
Regarding the difference and the reason they are still sustaining is the ban on the paper cash, people are finding ways to dump their non taxed money into something and cryptocurrency is the best choice.

Since when dumping justifies a much higher (than usual) price?
773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a question to the people who lives in India on: November 16, 2016, 01:43:05 PM
As far as for OP i dont know which exchange you used to get the information, the prices for btc in usd and inr are almost same.

I did referred 2 exchanges!

Here's a screenshot from last night:

54,610 INR  = $804, 55,722 INR = $821

Need to explain more?
774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a question to the people who lives in India on: November 16, 2016, 01:39:59 PM
Geez,

The reason to create this thread is to ask what exactly is the case according to the natives, not to discuss and guess what may be the situation. Can we stick to the subject, please?
775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a question to the people who lives in India on: November 16, 2016, 11:12:50 AM
The reason is always the same. Supply can't catch up with demand. There are not enough sellers. It's interesting that the same phenomenon is happening to gold. Gold is smuggled into India and customs officials are bribed along the way to let it in. With a recent attack on paper cash there, the number of people who want to buy hard cold metal is higher than of those who want to sell it.

Are you from India? Some people said that it has nothing to do with the paper cash and that its not new (it was always like that). Anyone else?
776  Economy / Trading Discussion / I have a question to the people who lives in India on: November 16, 2016, 07:13:22 AM
The price of Bitcoin (as I'm posting this) is $712, but some guy (will not use names) on Twitter tweeted that BTC is traded @ $100+ over the actual price on Indian exchanges. I haven't checked the Indian market recently, but currently Unocoin buys Bitcoin @ 55,800 INR ($824) and BTCXIndia buys it at 55,500 INR ($812). Can someone tell me why is that difference?

Cheers,
Spartak
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Updated PoS code on: November 15, 2016, 01:14:47 PM
;P it has been tested and is running in production since september

ОК, but there is no QT wallet?
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Updated PoS code on: November 15, 2016, 12:46:40 PM
We are soon going to fork FAIL and will use BC's latest code base as we feel its the most improved one. But if BlackCoin devs are currently working on upgrade their base that means there is an upcoming hard fork, no?

no not a hardfork Wink and new base is already in use here:
https://payblk.blackcoin.io

Thanks. I also noticed that PoS coins are using old BTC code base and FAIL dev confirmed newer versions are still not compatible with PoS coins. Just gave him that link.

EDIT: What concerns me the most that if this is using a newer version, then it is probably not tested by many users.
