They can trade him by mid January just not to the Pacers.  I think under rules because Pacers sheet'd him the Suns can't trade him to the Pacers for a full year but other tes who didmt offer they can trade to by mid year.
Suns are now cornered with their own mistake of not giving the contract extension for Ayton as early as they could. They could've saved a lot of money in the process buy chose not to.
Clearly Durant is off the board now and it's probably the heat or dude stays in Brooklyn.  Weirdly enough if kyrie and Durant stay with the jets this year I'd peg them.as the favorites.  Both playing pissed and for theor next shot (kyrie on a one year).   Dam I love the NBA.  Just hope the Knicks can play with the big dogs this year so it's interesting past March lol.
They will be forced to play with each other even if they don't want anymore? Will that even work out? Well, I guess they have to work it out because they are being paid such huge amount of money.

Oh and just found out about the latest with the Ayton contract. It gets exciting.
Suns match Deandre Ayton's four-year, $133 million max offer sheet from Pacers, per report

762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT drops profitable? on: July 14, 2022, 05:44:03 PM
No. Most are trash.
Are we talking about art NFT here or Gaming NFT's?
Because the gaming NFT's are just for startup. It won't do you any good in game as they are just given for free. Some of them also has an expiration and you need to accumulate in game money to buy a new NFT which takes off what should've been a profit. Then, it becomes a cycle.
So, unless you buy an NFT that has an infinite life then you will just keep on playing without making anything or lesser than those who spend cash.
763  Economy / Economics / Re: The fear of Bitcoin monopoly in El Salvador on: July 14, 2022, 05:24:08 PM
Chivo is the wallet proposed but they could still use other wallets. Right? So no, it won't scare them off.
There are always other ways to keep Bitcoin and they could do that by spending just a little amount of money to buy a known wallet with better security.
They're using Bitcoin which is not their countries currency. We must not forget that fact.
So whales buying on El Salvador might do them better if the demand will increase again.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2022, 04:25:35 PM
And regarding Durant's request, here is what the NBA commissioner said,

Quote
“Look, this needs to be a two-way street. Teams provide enormous security and guarantees to players and the expectation is, in return, they will meet their end of the bargain,” Silver said. “I’m realistic that there’s always conversations that are going to go on behind closed doors between players and their representatives and the teams. But we don’t like to see players requesting trades, and we don’t like to see it playing out the way it is.”

https://www.si.com/nba/2022/07/13/kevin-durant-trade-adam-silver-thoughts-nba-nets

So it's seems that he is obviously not happy with Durant requesting a trade after what he has been offered by the Nets in the initial contract.

And with that, I'm expecting that there will be new rule in the NBA about the Durant trade, just some sort of protection from the teams that are offering max contract to this high level players.
I agree and I wish they will come up with something as soon as they can.
NBA became Hollywood as this players became artists that are becoming dramatic when their emotions are poked.
One solution that I could think of is the status of each player after they are hired. RFA, FA, Bird, and so on.. It must be changed because players found a hole in that. (maybe their agents)
Even some NBA fans are confused of how it happens that a player that was just signed can request for a trade. (Not talking about KD)
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 14, 2022, 12:11:57 PM
I do remember. I think this is one of the unforgettable things in my life and I bet there are others who have the same experience.
When you are rekt with nothing left in either wallet or pocket, you won't absolutely forget it.  Cheesy

Slots. I preferred Dice online but Slots when it comes to land casinos. It's more fun.
When I lost that amount in slots that I won't mention I feel terrible when I got home. I keep telling myself that's not me. I always have a number to stop but I keep on trying to get even and I didn't reach it until I end up with nothing.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 14, 2022, 08:48:42 AM
We don't know. It could be retail buyers who are selling and the panic starts getting in the skin of every investors and sold their assets.
This is not new as we have seen it before when the price of Bitcoin dropped at $3k back 2019.
It's actually not that bad of a bear right now just dropped 60-70% after ATH while before it was almost 90%.
If we can stay at this price and become the new bottom then even altcoins are in good position already, that's if you bought before the big pump happened last year.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more uses to deposit. on: July 13, 2022, 05:16:41 PM
A wide range of payment options is always important to any business that relies on money spending. It's the same with online stores and food delivery companies. They must have the variety of options to pay as sometimes there will be a problem with one so they must have an alternative.
Last month I experienced this kind of problem in a MMO game where I am trying to buy something using my debit card but it won't be accepted by their system even when I tried 10 times.
I tried another card which belongs to my wife and it all went smoothly.
A player/gambler must always have his option to pick not just for their privacy but also for convenience.
768  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2022-07-11] Bloomberg UK - Bitcoin Is More Likely to Hit $10,000 Than $30,000 on: July 13, 2022, 04:08:49 PM
40 percent are optimistic. Not a bad number on their survey. What about other surveys?
I guess the panic really affected a lot of small investors especially those who have the thoughts of "get rich fast scheme".
From Bitcoin, sold in exchange for the last trend which is NFT.
But here's the problem, it's slowing down. It's not explosive anymore and some investors are realizing its like a pyramid scheme or if not, its just no buyers are coming after they spent millions of dollars in it.
I will be part of the optimistic ones, 30k+.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2022, 08:53:27 AM

First we should understand what really happen and why they are willing to let go of Ayton. Yes, he is a vital part of the offense and defense of the Suns, but it seems that Ayton doesn't have the mindset though, in the finals against the Bucks he was out hustle by Giannis and there was a critical play that he was block. And after that, the Suns didn't offer Ayton a max contract, first sign that he will not stay as Suns for long. And last season, we've seen how he got bench in Game 7 because they way Monty see it, Ayton quit on them. So it's just a matter of time before Ayton will be traded and this is the right time.

Might be the reason, an inside issue between Ayton and the coaching staff.

Now that they see that the relationship between him is no longer working well, it's the best time to send him to another team
who can provide good deals and fair trading value.

It's a matter of time now to what team he may land and who will be his replacement that Suns will bring to their squad,
the system is still there though it's just the player to adjust and work on int.
Yeah, but there also an issue before that. He was already asking for a max contract right after they given CP3 his own at 21-22 season. I think that's when the problem started with the Ayton relationship with management and coaching staff.
Who would not ask for it? They are the Western Champions and fought for the Finals, he might have thought there should be perks on what they achieved but it was not awarded.
I have no doubts this big guy will play at his best if only offered the contract that he wants. He may just want security for himself.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: July 12, 2022, 03:34:58 PM
Just take the bounty. Airdrops are useless and most of them are given just for promotional thing. It's like they are trying if it will click to the mass or not. Most of airdrops that I encountered are dust. You cannot even trade them for there is no value and some are not even listed with a good exchange.
Bounties though, when you pick the right one you may find yourself making a lot of money or just less than what you worked for, but mostly they are giving out rewards.
It's not like they exhausted you to advertise them so it's okay.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Payouts in casinos on: July 12, 2022, 02:39:00 PM
Do small bet gamblers have to research about this too?
I mean, I have never checked about payouts before, until now. It never crossed my mind that there will be something fishy that will happen inside the casino or with their machines.
What if it's a physical casino? Will they even honestly input the right number in their website? (if they have one)
Could we ask the staff about this "payout scale" or "payout percentage" but will they answer us right?
I don't think gamblers will care too much about it.
772  Economy / Economics / Re: Good and Evil money — The Morality of earning Money/Rewards on: July 12, 2022, 11:57:25 AM
As much as I want to agree but it doesn't work like that anymore.
There are people who can swallow the food bought from the fruits of evil deeds. Likes scams which we happen to bump many times in this forum.
Sure, those who worked hard to make a living are more conservative about spending but when you see people waste money because they can create it the easy way it makes others think they should just follow the same way.
I worked as an employee for a lot of years and trust me it didn't get me anywhere. It may have provided what I needed to live but it will not provide for the future.
I am not suggesting to do illegal works, it's just that, you have to be creative today to have a better life.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 12, 2022, 10:26:59 AM
Reports today that Ayton is close to finalizing a deal to go to the Indians Pacers. If they let Ayton go in a trade that doesn’t also involve Kevin Durant going to the Suns it is going to end up being one of the worst moves Phoenix has made in a long time. It’s crazy to see an NBA franchise acting so emotionally. I imagine that whatever happened between Ayton and management was enough that they were unwilling to even offer him a contract extension.
This ain't a good move from them Suns. So much was produced by Ayton that made them reach the Finals and then the West semis last year.
I don't know what they are planning but I have an idea they are going for small ball copying strategies from the likes of the Warriors and Celtics.
CP3 is getting older, chemistry will be a better ally for them than looking for the star players and force a championship roster. What the Nets did was enough proof that it fails.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 11, 2022, 06:48:10 PM
In my opinion, I respect every rising star and those who follow his steps, but with Ja's statement, it's easier to say than to prove it with

converted achievements,.
I just wish he could reach whatever Mike did and that includes a very long list.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jordan
I used Google for Ja because his Wiki is not that great yet but we know he had his awards at earlier point of his career.
He chose a very big shoe to fill.
It's not bad to dream high but this is very high as Mike dominated every corner of the league and even overseas. The most difficult of them all will be the Defensive player of the Year.
It's so special for a guard to receive that award and even Gary Payton visited Marcus Smart to congratulate him because it happens rarely.
775  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic collapse and digital currency btc and crypto on: July 11, 2022, 04:13:32 PM
They want a cashless society but the control should remain. That's the only plan I can think off and nothing more.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that is decentralized should be left in the dark for they are a threat to that control which they are aiming for.
A good goal for speed of transactions and avoid passing any sickness due to physical cash and coins. But let's not kid ourselves, everything they will do is for their selfish objective.
I am not against the government but I am against the traditional way they manage a country. It's being passed like a legacy.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 11, 2022, 01:58:52 PM
Therefore, someone who is addicted to gambling must find new ways to entertain himself. I understand the need for excitement but there are other ways to do it. Take for example, rides in a carnival that is life threatening.  Cheesy
I do understand though the expectation to get back whatever was loss. This happens when you cannot forget about it so you keep on betting until you ROI but it doesn't end there, it's actually an endless cycle. When you achieve that moment, it's not entertaining anymore but more like revenge.
777  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: July 11, 2022, 10:26:25 AM
BTC cannot answer that. It has no mouth to do so.  Grin Just kidding but half true.
Anyway, those are predictions and it could happen. There's not much basis but it can still happen. Bitcoin's volatility can always shock the investors with the price movements and it's not even written in their technical analysis.
$1k though is such an absurd number, imo. We have reached 3k last bear so I don't think it will go back lower than that. Let's just say that is our bottom but further down may happen because another economic breakdown is suppose to happen.
War will end, soon they will find nonsense about what they are doing but only egos left. Ego is nothing without bullets to fire.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 11, 2022, 07:46:15 AM
Just finished watching this documentary for Steph Curry titled "Silenced" by Trice High.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZuWSiWQLN0
If you are a Curry fan this will touch your heart and will feel the enormous weight that was lifted in Steph Curry's shoulder after being bashed and criticized about how he won't be back to the championship and how he cannot bring a team to the top.
The title was spot on. That's the correct word to define it all. Inspiring for NBA players that are aiming for the same goal.
"What are they going to say now?"
779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach 18600$ level in this week ends? on: July 10, 2022, 03:51:40 PM
Up is what happened and we could see that now.
The new question, will it stay at this value? Yes. In my opinion. We had our worries and it reflected with the market price but there's something going on that is invisible to our eyes.
A trend of what I think is cheap for them so they buy. Is it wrong? No? I have the same thought. It's maybe the cheapest price we could get and it's being given at our face.
Buy or regret? That's the trend and as soon as it shoot up at the upcoming days the same reaction will happen.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 10, 2022, 08:38:20 AM
Having a franchise star like KD is one of the best thing to happen in each team inside the league,

I don’t know about that. He quit on Oklahoma City. He wasn’t happy in Golden State. He destroyed a budding Nets franchise. I don’t think any of his former teammates consider him a friend. He’s one of the best basketball players still, sure. I think a lot of regrets come from previous teams. Certainly someone like Tim Duncan or Steph Curry’s loyalty is what owners are hoping they get when they shell out big bucks for stars.
Damn true. I was eyeing for the 2018-2019 Brooklyn Nets before Kyrie, KD, and Harden happened. The roster before was composed of Dinwiddie, Allen, Harris, LeVert, and Russell. A team with young competitive stars. If there will be a trade, I'd just kick Russell for 1 star and a veteran to deal with experience.
Kevin Durant could fill both that spot but they decided to pursue not just two but three stars and all the young roleplayer scattered at different teams.
Luckily, that did them good. Dinwiddie is now a good wingman for Doncic proven during the playoffs to WCF and Allen with a 5-year 100 million deal with the Cavs.
