781  Other / Meta / Re: is Politics and Society board turning into a lowkey Off-topic board? on: September 26, 2023, 11:27:20 PM
Greetings, everyone. I am now the new moderator of Politics & Society. What I have to say about it.

1. First of all, I will be interested in off-topic topics. I have already moved a dozen or so topics to the Off-topic section. And I will work on it further.
2. Secondly, I will be interested in any calls for violence. What are calls for violence? I explained it in my post. I'll quote it here
I'm not sure how your appointment as moderator is related with appearance of this topic, but it's better later than never. Mod was needed a lot here.Welcome. I wish you patience with work here.
Without off-topic threads it already looks better
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: September 26, 2023, 11:01:11 PM
Game between Ajax and Feyenoord will be resumed tomorrow from 55th minute and game will be without spectators. From first glance, everything looks decided in this game, but cases like this everything still can happen. Teams will come fresh to this game and there is still plenty of time to play.

agree here, that is not even happening in our local league anymore, and Ere should be much more serious league than those
and after having several incidents last season (you missed Groningen in the list, they had also interrupted match last season, if I am not mistaken), this is really embarrassing for Ajax

nevertheless, with match continuing tomorrow, without any punishment for Ajax so far, I think we will see more of those in the future
Yeah, even in Serbia, Greece or Turkey where fans can be really wild sometimes, games don't get interrupted so often like in Eeredivisie. If they can't guarantee safety, they probably should make games without spectators.
783  Other / Meta / Re: is Politics and Society board turning into a lowkey Off-topic board? on: September 26, 2023, 10:16:07 AM
I visit this board open and I agree with your thoughts. I wouldn't say that this board is completely terrible. Yes, there is lot of spammers, trolls and etc, but it's possible to have normal discussion here. But you can't expect that things will get much better here as long as there is no dedicated mod for that board. Only thing that we can do now is reporting such kind of topics like you show in OP.

When you still have a topic like:
Elders of 13 inbred European Bloodlines house training their inbred children
on the first page among other such topics, it's a clear sign to just stay away from it if you don't have at least 4 years of 4chan training.
Damn, I completely forgot about this user Actor_Tom_Truong, damn, he is much worse than BADecker. Seems that his main account(s) is inactive, not banned, but he continue to post using new account.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hockey discussion thread on: September 25, 2023, 11:02:14 PM
Are you talking just about NHL, or whole hockey around the world in general? IIRC, there was several topics about NHL, but eventually it become dead. I also made topics about several recent IIHF World Championships, but it didn't got much interest. So, it's obvious that we don't have many hockey lovers here.
I don't really follow what's happening in NHL, only starting paying some interest when playoffs begin. But can't remember when I watched whole game from start till the end. I more follow main leagues in Europe like Swedish SHL or Swiss National League, sometimes make bets on it.
785  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will The USD (and military) remain a Global force for at least 5 more years? on: September 25, 2023, 10:52:05 PM
So, you signed up on Bitcoin forum and then went straight Politics board and made your first post here. OK, but are you really new here? Smiley Back to your question, I don't really like to predict future. Collapse of dollar, I don't reall see this coming. For me it's just difficult to imagine Something similar what happened in Venezuela for example, ahppening in USA.
USA remaining as main global force for remaining 5 years? Well, 5 years isn't such long period of time for such huge changes. So, I'm confident that USA is going to keep their positions for upcoming years, but there is big chance that sooner or later China is going to take it over.
786  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 25, 2023, 09:12:03 AM
Theres literally hundreds of those videos from both sides
Thank you captain obvious for telling obvious thing. There is lot of videos of drones hitting tanks, cars or troops straight line into dugouts, but I haven't see video of such level of precision. Offcourse, probably you would be more impressed if such video would be from Russian side.
787  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Free Tools to speedup BTC transactions on: September 24, 2023, 10:51:15 PM
I know that there is other accelerators, but do they actually work? Does anyone here have experience with services listed above and it worked? I only used ViaBTC and as long as it works, I won't look for alternatives.
788  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 24, 2023, 10:44:40 PM
Emm... I have mentioned in my last two posts, but it is ok to say it a few times ... it is even hard to believe Ukraine could get that deep and shows a terribly brittle air defence from Ruzzia.
Didn't noticed your post, my bad. It's true that these things shows how brittle Russian air defence in Crimea is. I would relate it with one of their most advanced S-400 system destroyed few weeks ago.

FPV drones is very important weapon in this war. There is lot of videos where these drones is used to attack various targets, but this video shows something what I haven't seen before. What level of precision from drone operator:

789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 24, 2023, 07:57:21 PM
Suzuka gave us interesting race, but as usual, there was no fight for win. Red Bull already too construcors championship trophy. What a great race for Mclaren with both drivers on podium. And Piastri - it doesn't happens often when driver on his rookie season reach podium.
It looked a bit ridiculous when Mercdes tried to copy Ferrari defense strategy with DRS. They had no chance to protect Russel and keep Sainz behind.

RBR is back, well Max is back.

I'm still not sure if Max its so good or Perez its so bad
I would say that Perez is bad. It's not that he has different car than Max or some other reasons. That accident was completely his fault. There was few races when he showed signs of recovery, but now he is back to usual business. Though, most of drivers probably would look bad in shadow of Verstappen. Still, despite it, Red Bull got early constructors championship trophy.

I'm down 3-0 against LTU_btc after Kane's hat trick and Red Bull winning the qualifications and the race. I will mark this round as a loss and hope that some of the four teams below me won't win this round. I can't express how dissapointed I am with this last few rounds. I was hoping for three wins and the only "positive" result is one draw. Thankfully I secured my stay in the division 1 in the next season before these last three rounds.
I think it's first time ever when I got points from esports related question. Got it when it matters most. Yeah, your performance in last rounds wasn't that good as you planned, but at least you saved your spot in top division.
Good feeling that I can watch Atletico - Real completely relaxed now. Went with not popular prediction - draw, but Atleti had very powerful start and already leading 2:0

congrats to you and LTU_btc for holding top flight spots, well deserved
Thanks, mate! I needed to make quite big comeback and somehow I made it. I scored 9 points in last 3 rounds and 12 points in last 5 rounds. But even after such performance things were still very close because my season start was such poor.

@arallmuus, @Igebotz, will wait to see your comeback to top division next season. Good luck!
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: September 24, 2023, 02:34:23 PM
I don't know what is more shameful - how Ajax is playing or how their fans is behaving. 0:3 after 45 minutes and soon in 2nd half fans started throwing flares into pitch. As I understand, game is abandoned and won't be resumed.
https://twitter.com/TheEuropeanLad/status/1705946868880904224
It's not just about Ajax, but in general, similar things happens in almost every big game involved by Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV or Twente. What's wrong with this league? I hope that league finally will take serious actions because such things can't continue.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: September 23, 2023, 07:19:44 PM
Damn, what a crazy comeback of Barcelona. In general it was shitty game, but what was going on in last 10 minutes was crazy - from 0:2 to 3:2. When score become 2:2, usually I think it's already good to take 1 point from such kind of game, but this time I was more than sure that 3rd goal is just matter of time.
Want to say few words about Girona, they're still undefeated after 6 rounds. Win against Mallorca 5:3 today and IMO, from all teams, Girona games is most attractive to watch now. I really would like to see them in Europa league next season at least, maybe even Champions league is possible.
Madrid Derby at Metropolitano tomorrow, any initial thoughts?
793  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 23, 2023, 07:08:22 PM
Strange that nobody didn't mentioned Ukraine strike on Black Sea Fleet headquarters. That moment of arrival of Storm Shadow rocket looks epic and people nearby just calmy hanging around https://t.me/Crimeanwind/43225
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/9/22/black-sea-navy-hq-hit-in-crimea-missile-attack-one-dead-russia
While Russians for more than 1.5 years threatens to attack decision making centers in Kyiv, Ukraine is actually doing it. And looks that attacks on Crimea become daily thing already.

It's been a while since I won something big from WoF spins and now it finally happened:

Offcourse, BTC or lottery tickets would be better, but anyway, not bad Smiley.

Where did you see this banner? I mean 6 hour flash promo, I can't see that anywhere. Is that personal promotion? I don't really know much about freebitco, I just registered here some days ago and deposited some coins but yesterday I already got multiply btc bonus which is a good amount to be honest.

I'm not aware about this promo too, though I'm old time member here. Checked email and didn't found anything. Sad that I missed it.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: September 22, 2023, 07:31:53 PM
Guys, I remind you don't forget to leave picks. It's easy to miss it because qualifying tomorrow begins quite early in the morning for us in Europe. So, it's easy to miss it if you will wake up a bit too late. Damn, people in US have to get up so early most part of season if they want to watch rraces, so, we probably shouldn't complain about several early races Cheesy.
Not really sure about qualifying, but I don't expect something extraordinary from race and Verstappen should win. Red Bull Versappen is looking strong again if we look at practice results.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: September 22, 2023, 03:17:46 PM
From all games that were played, Zrinjski comeback and win against AZ was the craziestone. AZ were leading 0:3 after 1st half, but in 2nd half Zrinjski somehow managed to score 4 goals without response. I just remind that's first time ever when team from Bosia and Herzegovina reached group stage and their first opponent was very strong. I imagine how sweet this win was for them, especially they way how they achieved it.
Legia win against Aston Villa is impressive too, but I'm not surprised that much. It's very difficult to win at Legia stadium.
797  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you take water intake seriously? on: September 21, 2023, 07:36:16 PM
I can't say that I take it seriously. I drink a lot of water every day, especially on summer when it's hot, but I never tried to count how much exactly I simply drink when I want to drink.
I drink in average 3 cups of cofe/tea each day, about 1.5 l of mineral water (much more when it's hot), 1-1.5 l of soft drinks like coke. And offcourse, at least several cans of beer on weekends. Yeah, I know that I drink too much soft drinks, I should drink a bit less it and try to replace it with water. I'm trying not to drink energy drinks too much as it's not helthy for heart. But I still need it sometimes - my work starts very early in morning and energy drinks helps me to wake up, cofe doesn't helps me at all.

Most people are not aware of the importance of water. Some believe its better to drink softdrinks.
Same with food, quality is not important for most.
Are you sure about? I think that most people is aware about these things, but they still pick soft drinks because simply it's more tasty.
798  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seniors apply patience and kindness to newcomers on: September 21, 2023, 07:14:49 PM
I agree and disagree with you. Sometimes it's annoying to see same questions repeated all over again and again. But I understand that's not worth to expect that all newbies will use search before asking.
But I agree with thoughts above that these posts often is made to hunt merits. Or that questions is asked from alt account of someone who is in signature campaign. Such kind of topics is great place for signature spammers to reach their post quota easier with some generic answer.
And advice for newbies and everyone in general. If you sensitively react to what was said about you, you have to grow thicker skin.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: September 21, 2023, 03:37:23 PM
Champions league continues being unpredictable after seeing clear favourites failing to get easy wins Roll Eyes

Inter Milan very disappointing...

Galatasaray another disappointing match, only to force a draw from 2 goals down..they should have lost!

Sevilla fair performance especially knowing that they aren't having a great run at the moment...

United kind of shocked me especially that they managed to get 3 goals against Bayern..from their own backyard,  guess Bayern is still trying to put their act together otherwise this should have been a 6-1 beating.

I've done great on Tuesday games, but on Wednesday my performance was very average. Teams that disappointed me most was Galatasaray and PSV. I didn't counted on PSV chances to win, but expected close game and that they won't be destroyed 4:0. Galatasaray with squad was heavy favorite, but they were down 0:2. Comeback on last minutes and taking draw 2:2 was impressive, but draw at home isn't good result.
Sevilla - had bet on them, but in general, not surprised. Typical Sevilla, doing shitty in Champions league and then relegating to Europa league. Benfica loss is upset, it's heavy influence of their terrible start yesterday and early red card.
Haven't checked Pot B results, it's not displayed properly on my phone.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: September 21, 2023, 03:24:42 PM
Not making many bets today. For me it's quite difficult to get excited about Europa league group stage after watching highest level football in Champions league. Tonight I'm going with Roma ML @1.50 against Sheriff, Union St. Gilloise aginst Toulouse @1.9 and  Sporting vs Sturm @1.87.

It feels truly strange for me to be discussing Liverpool in Europa even though my first match and first Anfield trip was actually vs Villareal in 2016. Not so long ago and Klopp was fresh-faced, but it still doesn't quite cut right. All the same, will enjoy watching them at LASK.

Marseille to beat Ajax is the only thing I'm interested in so far this week =)
Liverpool in Europa league - it brings me some good memories. That epic 1/4 final against Borussia at Anfield which ended 4:3. It was even more interesting because it was first Klopp season in Liverpool and he already had to meet his former team. Damn, time flies fast...
Ajax loss against Marseille, probably it wouldn't be surprise, considering how bad Ajax looks. Going with BTTS here.
