781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: April 02, 2017, 09:09:55 AM
I do not think Bitcoin needs altcoins. Each altcoin brings different innovations. But as a payment system, Bitcoin already meets our needs.
Even if there is no altcoin, bitcoin will continue to exist in the population.
Altcoins are good competitors to Bitcoin and I think it just needs it. All of them were created on bitcoin's base and I think one of them can take the place of bitcoin one day.
I am disagree. I think bitcoin can be on the top without altcoins and all of them are weak competitors which not affect on bitcoin's price at all. If altcoins will disappear bitcoin users will not even notice that. Nothing will change. That's right that all of them just want to repeat the success of bitcoin, but I doubt that any of them can fly so high indeed.
782  Economy / Economics / Re: Smart Passive Income on: April 02, 2017, 08:05:41 AM
First of all you have to decide what kind of site you will make. I am not going to share with you my ideas for that  Grin but you have to be on a wave and see what people need today. Only that will make your site super popular fast and will bring you first profit fast as well.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zebpay's Petition to Announce Bitcoin as Legal in India on: April 01, 2017, 06:51:47 PM
Currently, several fiat currencies faced a full-scale process of demonetization, which manifests itself in the form of restrictions in the use and circulation of the national currency. India became the first and most striking example of the failure of demonetization, which, like a plague, has spread in several other countries under the guise of fighting corruption and money laundering. Such changings awakes changings in mass and I am not surprised about such petitions from people. I hope they succeed with that idea and bitcoin will help them somehow.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's talk about poker! on: April 01, 2017, 06:46:42 PM
I am playing poker on the same site as you are only. So, we could need in the game  Smiley what is your nic there?
I think poker is a game of skill and a chance together. During the game the one or another is coming to you nonstop. There are cases when you have good skills but a card is not going. And there are times when you are so so player, but your luck with card is just visible.
I like to play poker and I am sure that it's game of skills mostly. A guy with luck or chance can win once or twice maximum and that's it and a real player with skills can make gambling as something professional and to make good money on it.
785  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking To Start A Small Business With Bitcoin on: March 31, 2017, 05:37:23 PM
I think to create a faucet site would be great idea to you. With commercial and good promotion in can bring you really good money. And you can create payment for users every 24 hours which is normal for many faucets alike. But for that you have to have skills in site's making or to invest in that business to some one to make it instead of you.
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt0L0cker Virus Infection 2017 Hack Beware on: March 31, 2017, 05:06:59 PM
Such information has to pe posted more often on the forum and especially ways how to solve the problem. Many users hold big capitals in bitcoin waiting to the price fly so high to cash it out in one moment or to invest this money in something else.
Please, write if you suceesd with the virus.
787  Economy / Speculation / Re: China found huge gold mine. Price evolution? on: March 30, 2017, 06:48:12 PM
I think that gold holders will prefer just to wait rather to sell their capitals to invest in something else, especially in such not stabile currency as bitcoin.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like 2000 next month on: March 30, 2017, 06:43:01 PM
Obviously we all hope you are right Wink
Of course after such drop under 1000$ when many people allowed to themselves to buy some bitcoins everybody are waiting now to the price grow back. I don't believe bitcoin will hit 2000$ in april. too many factors make it's price to fall. But the current price is generally high, so I am totally satisfied with current results.
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: small fee makes transactions faster on: March 29, 2017, 05:31:43 PM
With the growing of Bitcoin's popularity, increasing the workload of its blockchain. This entails serious consequences for the price of bitcoin payments. The fees are also increasing.
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think the potential of BTC is over on: March 29, 2017, 03:45:51 PM
In the future,BITCCOIN Will also continue in the position of the virtual currency system Ranked first?

Although most of the virtual currency acquired from BTC the original design, but the virtual currency would significantly more than BTC development.

The intelligence of the ETH contract, for example, the DASH of pos node development are far more than BTC

And BTC is now facing a simple Blockchain congestion problem

In the future, all kinds of virtual currencies rise, BTC will in no. 1?

Please friendly to your comments.

I said the wrong place please correct me

My English is not very good, I'm sorry Smiley

You make good points.  Bitcoin still has potential because it is the first mover, but it is quickly losing ground to competitors.  I feel a lot of people here are in deep denial about what is really happening, but I am still hopeful.

Yes bitcoin is just the first in this area of crypto currencies and I will be not surprised to see something like Bitcoin 2.0 in nearly future. If the fork will happen maybe it will change everything that we used to count normal about bitcoin. But as I love to say - the time will show.
791  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggest me a website for Day Trading on: March 27, 2017, 01:23:37 PM
And why Yobit didn't satisfy you? I use that exchanger when I need to cash out my coins, because of in Serbia where I live it works with lowest fees. And I noticed that the site has all possible altcoins, so it's possible to start to trade there with any.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would bitcoin coexist with digital fiat in the future? on: March 27, 2017, 01:18:15 PM
I suppose when such future will come it will come the era of new global currency with which you will not even need to convert it in some other currency. So all people will use one Worldcoin or something like that.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2017, 01:15:47 PM
as for as i know no one can trace you ? right ?
yes that is the best feature of bitcoin and you know because of that feature many of gambling sites are successful because with that feature people from all over the world are able to gamble and before bitcoin many of the people were not able to deposit to gambling sites from their bank card due to their bank rules.

Yes people love bitcoins because they can gamble very easily with which was hard before the existence of bitcoins and now with bitcoins they get total privacy to gamble and no one would be aware about that they are actually in the world of gambling.
People use bitcoin not only for gambling. Yes, I spend all my canplany's payments for that mostly, but there are people to whom bitcoin is a real financial support for life. There are countries with monthly salary likr 100$ and it's really great help if your campaign pays you like 100$ monthly for commenting.
794  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: March 26, 2017, 05:00:58 PM
Both ways are need for some basic capital and investitions. To trade you need big sum of money to feel the profit and for mining you have to buy necessary equipment, which is not so cheap, so, you have to look at all pluses and minuses of both mathods to decide what is better to you.
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unlimited vs Segwit information on: March 26, 2017, 04:50:20 PM
There will be no Hardfork, no bugcoin and chinese roger ver cartel will lose this fight. Bitcoin is unique.
The Hardfork is still not proved. but there is no proves that it is not going to happen. I am also confused about all this situation around the fork. On the internet there are a lot of talks and opinions and the price for bitcoin is falling. It just can't stop me from some kind of panic.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: there don't seem to be great Bitcoin alternatives on: March 26, 2017, 04:43:34 PM
I count Litecoin as one of the most perspective among other altcoins. I heard many storyies about how people could increase their capitals with litecoin, the same way as how people got rich with bitcoin. Even I bought couple of Litecoins to see how this invistition will act itself, probably i will buy some more from the next payment from the campaign.
797  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash and fear are increasing. on: March 25, 2017, 07:34:34 AM
The lower the price of bitcoin is going, the higher user of bitcoin panics, damn. It always happen and I think that lives up to the name of bitcoin, it's volatility. Just sit tight and relax guys, we just need to be calm to ride the wave.
The price is already gone under 1000$. This situation really cna make bitcoin holders to panic, but in the same time for many other who wanted to invest in bitcoin it's good opportunity to buy couple of bitcoins. So the fall has it's pluses and minuses. And for ordinary users who are interested in bitcoin just as in money it's the right advice that you gave - to be calm and ride the wave  Smiley
798  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns that accepts newbies? on: March 25, 2017, 07:03:37 AM
If you are looking for a suchcampaign you have to search in "services". Don't be lazy! I have found one for your rank, but I can't promote others campaign now to not be eliminated from my current campaign.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can i do with Bitcoin? on: March 24, 2017, 04:48:27 PM
It depends really.
First, we don't know about your experience, life goals, what you want to achieve in your life etc.
Second, please be aware that some ways of using bitcoin, like trading, gambling etc. can be very risky and costly.
Lastly, it depends where you live really.
In some countries you already have a lot merchants which accepts bitcoin, a lot bitcoin ATM's...
In other countries you don't have really choice but to either spend bitcoin online or keep funds in the wallet.

It is not so good advice to stay away from gambling and trading. I need every bitcoin user has to try this at least once. For someone it really can be profitable and become kinda business that brings really good money. Yes, it risky, but to a person who has luck and skills everything is possible.
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not both? Why not meet in the middle? on: March 24, 2017, 04:25:10 PM
Why doesn't Core release an update that includes Segwit AND a block size increase? It seems that this is the only thing that both sides would eventually cave to and agree on, that way companies needing Segwit will be able to do business and we can get a larger block size. With such a division being created, it's going to be hard to get an agreement at all unless there's something met in the middle.

Also, if Segwit works, which they think it does, then increasing the block size won't matter because not all the block size will be used. So what's the prob?

One of the arguments is that miners will get a higher fee with smaller blocks. If the miners are wanting larger blocks with BU, obviously they don't care about getting higher fees.

Because segwit fixes the quadratic hashing problem, so segwit first, then a blocksize increase later once we have seen the behaviour of the network under segwit.  All experts tend to agree:

http://bitcoinist.com/nick-szabo-bitcoin-censorship-resistance/

But that is not the main problem, the main problem is, BUcoiners are trolls that just want to destroy Core at all costs (not realizing the entire thing will be destroyed in the process). So, even if Core sat down in a table with the miners and offered them a package of SW+2MB increase, Jihan Wu would reject it. They will reject anything Core does, and they hate the idea of the LN because they think they will get less money from it.
Case in point:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JarEszFY1WY

Bruce Fenton asked Jake (BU guy who filled in after Roger left) "is there anything Core can do to change your mind and get you to support the efforts of Core?" He responded "no". Bruce continued, "Even if Core advocated exactly what BU is advocating as a scaling solution?" He again responded "No". This reminded me of Ken Ham's response to Bill Nye when he was asked if there was any evidence that could possibly convince him to change his mind, and Ham said no, because he values a strict adherence to his faith over reason. My point is that Ver has essentially created an anti-core cult. Bitcoin Jesus, indeed.
We are dealing with trolls and brainwashed cultists at this point.
I also was thinking about "meeting in the middle" and in my head this idea sounded pretty easy and logical. But after this explanation I see all the reasons and minuses of why this is just impossible to happen.
