781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 02, 2024, 09:35:08 AM
It's New Year here in our country and I happened to bump into an old friend who narrated a story about how he almost suffered a heart attack after he won a big amount of money in a casino, this was several months ago, he's lucky that his son was around at that time so he got the right treatment at the right time.

Imagine never winning for years, and on the day you win, you die from a heart attack from the excitement, that is a very terrible death and not a good way to die. This is why it is necessary to always be aware of your health before you gamble.

Gambling takes money, and If a gambler has a health challenge, their first priority should be to channel their money towards getting better, and not gambling. If money is not the problem , but your health challenge puts you at danger of dieing suddenly due to the excitement from gambling, gambling should also be avoided.
It's an eye opener for him not because you are taking medicines you think that you are ok you should have your daily check-up to find out if the medicines that you're taking are still ok or if your physician thinks that you should increase or decrease the dosage or if you are getting better or getting worse.
Money is nothing if you get paralyzed or have an untimely death, I hope all of us here know the value of health more than our accounts in casinos, no amount of money can save us if we are paralyzed, and we will end up spending our winnings in our therapy, especially in a country where there is poor health care plan.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 02, 2024, 04:57:40 AM
There's a possibility that they can make the same sales as they did when they first met, these two are still active in doing exhibitions, and people will watch it out of curiosity, out of those boxers who retired these two fighters proved that they are not yet done with boxing.

I'm sure people will watch this because these two boxers are still as popular as they are still relevant in fact if they want they can make a comeback I'm rooting for Pacquiao to beat Mayweather if not for those broken arms he could have beaten Mayweather, anyway this is an exhibition fight and no title is at stake, so they are here just to enjoy and at the same time make money not every fighter can do this, make money while retired in active boxing.

It's New Year here in our country and I happened to bump into an old friend who narrated a story about how he almost suffered a heart attack after he won a big amount of money in a casino, this was several months ago, he's lucky that his son was around at that time so he got the right treatment at the right time.

He did not know that his hypertension had gotten worse since he can gamble even if he has this, he is taking medicines and doing relaxation but big winnings must have triggered this.

My question is :
Do you know the status of your health while gambling and what do you do if you happen to suffer a mild or hard stroke?

This is why I make it a point to open my messenger and have my loved one that I can contact in case, whenever I'm playing alone.

784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inflation and crypto gambling on: January 01, 2024, 01:52:53 PM

But now I noticed something interesting. In my country Greece, the most popular and most participated lottery, which is also a legal monopoly, recently raised its ticket price to 1€, which is effectively a 100% increase from the previous minimum 1 ticket price of 0.5€.

I wonder if this is something that is happening in other countries also.
Perhaps crypto casinos have also slowly been raising their minimum bets without us noticing that much? What do you think?

The same thing happened to my country a few years ago they increased the price of a ticket by 100% but they doubled the starting reward and the price of the ticket  didn't have an impact at all because of the increase in the prize it attracts more bettors and many people double their bets when it comes to lottery they can increase the prize without decreasing the sales because lotto bettors will always bet.

The majority of bettors have numbers they have always betting for many years and bettors will always take a shot whenever the prize snowballs.
The lottery is one of the most popular gambling forms that has a huge solid community because this is their ticket to change their fortune and you only need to win once.
785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Connecting to Public Wifi on: January 01, 2024, 12:03:35 PM
There are always risks in connecting to a private WiFi that is why I never do that there's prepaid data here in our country so I need not connect a public WiFi to protect my device and accounts

https://www.aura.com/learn/dangers-of-public-wi-fi

And when connecting to a public WiFi to paly in your favorite casino, the only way you'll know that its safe and ok is to ask support about this, so you will be guided on how you will proceed, I'm sure every casino has a policy regarding connecting to a public WiFi as long as there is no changes of device and the location is within the proximity of the location that you always use to play.
786  Economy / Gambling / Re: Finding a Bug on: January 01, 2024, 09:49:35 AM
How does someone go about reporting a bug to a casino a still hold casino accountable to pay a bounty?

You should first check if the casino where you are reporting the bug if they have a bug bounty if there is one they will redirect you to that page where you can read the terms, the rewards and how to report the bug report, just be sure that you are working on a reputable casino, there have been report of casinos that deny rewards on bounty reports, because they classify it as already resolve or the bug bounty hunter already exploited to buy to profit, they do this to deny payment to the bug bounty hunter.
Bug bounty hunters is not an easy job so they deserve rewards when their reports are valid because they can potentially lose a lot of money if the bug is not resolve.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: January 01, 2024, 06:33:07 AM
This fight is only possible, if Casimero is going to sign with MP Promotion again. As stated in the article, MP promotion through SEAN Gibbons are willing to help Casimero to get a fight with Inoue. And according to the camp if Inoue, Champ's fight was already line up, and will start with Nery (as mandatory challenger) and Murodjon Akhmadaliev, Casimero is currently last in the list, but anything can happen as long as the negotiation is would result to in agreement of both parties.

If the Casimero brothers are dead serious about getting the Inoue to fight then he should take this offer, swallow their pride, and work with MP promotions again, you cannot get the Inoue to fight by just daring the Inoue camps and posting on social media that he is the one who can beat Inoue when looking on his last three fights he is nowhere on his best form, people think that he just want to make money from Inoue, he is a fading fighters and all his last three fights are not good that is why he is out of Inoue's radar

He needs to get under the MP Promotions he is going downhill if he cannot he will be forgotten and he also needs to get rid of his brother as his main trainer he needs a veteran who can lead him back to his former shape, we'll follow this development if he will agree to work with MP promotions again.
Quote
Following his last title defense of his WBO bantamweight belt against Guillermo Rigondaeux in Carson, California, everything went downhill for Casimero as he eventually had a falling out with MP Promotions and Gibbons, who had worked with him for almost a decade.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the perception of people about gamblers in your neighborhood? on: January 01, 2024, 05:25:34 AM
I don't know if this is only happening in my area or is a general trend, hence the reason I created this post. Let's know what people think about gamblers and how well the gambling business is faring in your area.

The gambling business is flourishing in our country because it is easy to get a license our government is encouraging it as long as the gambling operators are compliant so we have horse racing, offline cockfighting, and other forms of gambling and our government is also promoting betting on Lottery because they are the one running it.
And the people's perception of a gambler, as long as you are good and managing how you gamble and you don't look poor because of gambling, people will just ignore that you are a gambler, in a third-world country your social status is very important.
If you're poor and you're playing in online or offline casinos people think you are miserable, and if you're rich and you're betting on any of both these platforms people think you are lucky and you're winning.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: December 31, 2023, 03:51:20 PM

So what do you think about this? Does gambling with crypto mean that laws about gambling being Haram don't apply all the time?
I was thinking that of crypto is earned outside of one's regular job, for example as a reward for activities such as bounties or sweepstakes, then maybe gambling with these earnings insta Haram?

These concepts are interesting to me because most Christian people like me, while having our religion dictate that gambling is a very serious sin, most do it anyway. Basically most christians aren't very pious at all and don't follow religion rules at least in my experience. So using loopholes to circumvent religious rules when your country even endorsed certain casinos isn't needed that much. So it's interesting to observe these differences.

I am a Christian and we have a saying here in our doctrine that you cannot serve two masters you will hate one and love the other one if you prioritize gambling more than church activity then you are serving your vice more than your religion, it's ok to gamble if you're a religious guy as long it will not hinder your obligation as a Christian and you only use money that you can afford to lose.
The bottom line here is you know your priority you treat gambling as a form of entertainment and you do your obligation as a Christian so with this the Lord is indeed your master and your gambling activity is something you can do away with anytime.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: December 31, 2023, 01:11:24 PM

Some gamblers cannot stop doing this, it's one of their motivation why they want to win so they can boast that they are winning and other people are wrong in their impression that you cannot win in gambling.
Even though they lose money, they will hide it and only tell their victories, they don't care who is listening to their story, some gamblers are addicted to telling their winnings to the point they are faking their winnings so that they can tell people that they are good in gambling.

This is just one of the symptoms of people who are addicted to gambling, they deny their losses and boast about their winnings, they tell everybody that they can win in gambling, and it creates a bad effect on newbies, this is why newbies should not just believe on gamblers and pick the right gamblers who will give them advice on how to become a good gambler, not someone who is addicted to story telling.

791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: December 31, 2023, 11:22:27 AM
Sometimes people are always addicted to playing gambling online and this has made them loss alot of funds, due to always topping up theire casino account with there debit card when they loose. and this usually makes them exhaust all there funds.

While those people playing offline in casino halls play with only the little money they have at hand, and that will reduce the risk of over spending. So now my question is this

Playing online or offline gambling which is more preferable in terms of risk reduction?

An out of control gambler is not safe both online and offline, whether you play online or offline a gambler will find a way to top us or fund his account or get funded.
On offline casinos, there are loan sharks which will readily lend these gamblers so they can continue playing, there is such a thing as a casino junket where wealthy people have no problems funding their account.

If you cannot control your addiction whether you're playing online or offline you will exhaust your fund if you cannot control how you play, for compulsive gamblers its not important if they are playing online or offline they will still lose their money, a compulsive gambler can always find a way to fund his account, You can only become safe if you know how to manage your bankroll and your mindset is not about making money.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: December 30, 2023, 05:18:13 PM
Yes, I increase my tickets if the jackpot hits high but I'm not very confident that these additional tickets will increase my chances there is news of winners holding or buying one ticket if you're so lucky you're going to win the jackpot but at least you have more shots not only on the jackpot but also on the consolation prizes like if you hit 5 or 4 combinations.
This is every hope of people in the third world, it's their ticket to alleviate their conditions, which is why the lottery is so popular in a third-world country, every time the jackpot increases there's a long line that is why running a lottery outlet is also profitable, if you have a good location and your outlet is on populated your profit will be good because almost everybody buys tickets.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Pacquiao vs. Buakaw - April 20 on: December 30, 2023, 03:37:43 PM
So this is an exhibition fight I hope both legends will not hurt each other because both fighters are still in their top condition especially Manny Pacquiao but I never estimated Buakaw is a legend in his league, he was very dangerous during his time.
You cannot stop these two legends from their respective fields when fighters retire they usually become inactive physically, they just manage new boxers or create a promotion, so with these two fighters, we will see if they are still in top form.
The format is very different and is meant to protect both fighters hopefully it is a friendly match I'm rooting for Pacquiao to win this match, I have seen him in his practice and he is still in top form.
794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: December 30, 2023, 01:28:44 PM
Now they are also saying the rich would win than the poor. Is it not the others way around that the more the rich spend on gambling, the more money the rich will eventually lose?

The house always wins and rich people gamble more so they lose more It is all about proportion, they bet huge money so they win huge money if they are lucky, and if they lose money they lose a lot of money, same with poor people they have to be so lucky to win huge from small bets, the poor can only lose money based on what they can afford to bet if the casino has a choice they want rich people to lose because they lose a lot compared to poor.
The rich lose a lot but they have a chance to win a lot also because they can bet huge, poor people can also win huge but they have to be extremely lucky to win huge.
795  Economy / Services / Re: Free Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator (Service) on: December 30, 2023, 11:16:56 AM
Hello, I'm just retransmitting an unconfirmed transaction to the bitcoin network through a mining pool

If you cannot accelerate just rebroadcast then why use the word Accelerator you know there's a big difference between an accelerator and rebroadcast, they are two different things and since you're offering this free are you going to ask for a donation after you rebroadcast the transaction, there are services like this on telegram they are not accelerator they only do retransmitting, which is pretty useless if the transaction has a low fee.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith January 13 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: December 29, 2023, 03:07:43 PM

I know, he is like a predator no expression whatsoever when he goes to fight anyone. He might have a slow start though, but once he get that engine inside of him, he is scary because he will be just in you face fighter that maybe some of his opponents are already intimated seeing him in that kind of mode.

Bivol already won his fight, so it's up to Beterbiev against Smith. But if Beterbiev is still very hungry and I believed he is, this fight against Smith is not going to last the full 12 rounds and Beterbiev will knockout Smith.

It has been a long time and these should have been fought a long time ago no rule in world boxing prohibits two fighters from the same country not to fight, they should not impose that on themselves, Beterbiev is aging but still dangerous no boxer has ever come close to hurting him but his record and legacy is questionable as long as both he and Bivol cannot meet each other in the ring,
I hope there will be no Wilder-like scenario in this fight against Smith, we want both fighters to meet in the ring with unblemished records so they will be motivated to go all out when they meet.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale betting system on: December 29, 2023, 02:22:35 PM

Exploring this system doesn't always guarantee 100 percent success..many have lost a lot with this system and many have also made a
Lot of profit from it.. remember to always stake what you can afford and set limits for yourself
I would like get more ideas from my readers
Thanks for reading
It's very tempting to use this system and why not it is within logic if you're doubling up with every loss there is a chance of recovering all your previous losses, but this could work on online betting I have used it in a color game in our fiesta and I always recover my previous losses, you just need a big bankroll and a good spirit and you can beat the table, but when I tried to apply it on online casinos I have a hard time recovering all my losses.

I even lost $300 doing martingale and I have a hard time recovering from that loss because I'm staking the coins I've lost, I could still make residual income if I hadn't lost that coin because of martingale.
You can use Martingale offline on other betting platforms but if you use it online the house edge will beat you, and you're going to regret it.
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder Vs Parker & Joshua Vs Wallin Boxing Mega Saudi card 23rd December on: December 29, 2023, 01:34:04 PM

The biggest fight at heavyweight will be the winner of Usyk-Fury defending all its belts against AJ. But I doubt people are interested in case Usyk beats Fury. It's less than 2 months already so if AJ is really interested in the belts especially the chance of becoming an undisputed champion, he should just wait. But I guess Eddie knows his ward is still a heavy underdog and there are a lot of low-risk-high-reward fights to exploit.
It is because it will unify all the titles in the heavyweight The last champion who did this was Lennox Lewis the winner of the Fury - Usyk will be considered the greatest heavyweight boxer of the present generation, but I don't rule out a rematch if the fight becomes too close, so much is at stake here all the titles and the zero in their record, the heavyweight division will be in a spotlight for the whole 2024 if Fury decides to stay on whether he wins or losses, its good that we have the Saudi promoters willing to put great matches to satisfy the boxing community when the US based promoters are hesitant to do this massive match up.

799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 07:46:36 AM
It is a choice between remorse and satisfaction, remorse every time  I lose and satisfaction every time I lose but the feeling of remorse only happens if I am not satisfied with my losses, on many occasions I am still satisfied even though I lose as long as my losses are good and it's not something that I won then I lose all my winnings this is heartbroken.
There are good losses because losses are inevitable when you're gambling, I hate it when I've lost chasing my previous losses, I want to log out feeling satisfied because you are gambling to have fun, so I'm doing my best to feel satisfied and this is my hope that I will always feel every time I play.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Was You Biggest Win in 2023? on: December 29, 2023, 06:57:56 AM

So, the question is simple, in your gambling activities all through 2023, how much your biggest win?

And in loses as well, how much was your biggest loss?

Is it possible for you to calculate your cumulative wins and losses, and tell if 2023 was profitable or not; to you in terms of gambling?

Lets discuss..

My biggest win in gambling in 2023 was not in online casinos but in cockfighting. I was sharing bets with a friend who is a big cockfighting bettor, I won $300 that day just following his advice, so sometimes it's worth following advice from people who know the way around the games, unfortunately that was the last time because he goes to a province to check for all the roasters he is taking care I'm sure he will be back here in our place, this is where he made a fortune.

My biggest loss was $100 on dice and crash games, but I have a lot of losses, many of which come from peer-to-peer boxing and basketball matches international and local.

I have not calculated all my losses and all my winnings there's no need to do that I can easily move on with these, all I know is that I have a lot of losses than winnings but I'm comfortable with both my winnings and losses.
