781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should move to BTC? on: November 04, 2019, 09:28:24 PM
Not only this xrp all the cryptocurrencies will be converted as a bitcoin and usdt at least once when you are being in trading websites. So if you want to convert those coins to BTC for sometime you may do it.
Value holding the BTC you may need to be careful and exchange the coins to the USD coins whenever the price was bumped to good level.
Maybe many suggests XRP due to its low fee and high speed transaction transfer (deposit or withdrawal) . If you have money that is converted in bitcoin , bitcoin itself is a good investment especially for a long term, you may invest in different altcoins too such as eth/ltc/bch and many more.
782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the adoption of China affects the crypto market and blockchain industry on: November 04, 2019, 02:32:47 PM
A week ago, President Xi of China has urged the Chinese to seize opportunities in the crypto market and blockchain industry. The announcement caught the market by surprise and drive the price of Bitcoin up until $10, 000. I personally believe that with the participation of Chinese, it is undoubtedly that the adoption rate would be greatly increased. But, wouldn't it subject the Chinese projects to be under the influence of Communist Party of China? What are your thoughts on this one?

we all know, that China is one of the most influential country in the whole world, chinese are good bussinessmen and investors, they know how to manage, regulated and make more money than anyone in the world I think, seing China has already shows their interests in cryptocurrency and blockchain could be an eye opener to its partner countries, neighbor countries to take a look for this thing that can help the economy.
Must better siguro eh ignore nalang natin yung mga ganyan para di tayo mabiktima or di kaya eh report.

784  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mining o Trading? on: November 02, 2019, 07:28:04 PM

785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for advisers and promoters on: November 02, 2019, 01:22:14 PM
Hello Everyone,

Lydian Lion, an ongoing ICO, is looking for people to join our team to promote and attract more investors to our project,

Everyone interested can send a pm on bitcointalk or contact me on telegram at @leonsoljic

If you want an  advisor for your project you may contact icobench , there are a lot of advisors there, you only need to pay them. Also if token is your payment better to make it in eth or fiat or much better in bitcoin, they need money so that they can advertize it in different platforms and conduct meeting with potential investors.
786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trade safely without any loss on: November 02, 2019, 11:42:17 AM
I agree with your thoughts, I've also felt it. it is true that skills in trading are needed to minimize the amount of loss and to seek profit in trading. because in my opinion it is quite difficult to ensure that trading is always safe without loss. experience in trading can be a means of introspection when trading at a later time. sometimes expectations are not in accordance with reality, so patience is also very necessary to control emotions because of panic. I think those are the first steps in securing trade.
We cant avoid losses, it is part of our trading life what we can do is to lessen the amount of our losses. Be careful to what coin you want to invest better to have an insight of it first so that you would not regret of investing to it, search for a potential coin then invest and trade. Always monitor your trade especially when it is for long term.
787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to sell bitcoin to an alt, so... on: November 02, 2019, 09:22:13 AM
Maybe I would go with ETH and LTC I also like Monero,
I would avoid investing in some new alt-coin unless I have seen something promising to them,
And if I think that they could survive in the market not another of those who would end up being useless and priceless shitcoin.
Me too! I would invest it at eth, we knew that eth is the second to bitcoin and the most popular and having a lot of investor I think, it would not be extinct and have a good volume. For now I am finding another coin that is stable I think I will buy more XRP too, when I used that , transactions are very fast.
788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: November 02, 2019, 05:20:57 AM
My advice to you, always expect a recession.
Even if you have to wait a long time (as practice shows no more than a year), however, before the growth, the price is always pressed down to buy as cheaply as possible and put as many people into the boiler as possible. This is a key factor that will allow you to maximize your profits. Take your time. Crypto market is in no hurry, feel its pace and move to the beat.

Just hodl it, recession is always there. Since bitcoin is created there were times that the market crashes each year bitcoin may at its lowest price than it could be last year and the next year will be bull run, market is uncertain. You may also invest in other altcoins so that when recession ends all of your coins will pump too, as they all depends on bitcoin status.
789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: November 02, 2019, 03:36:21 AM
Yes it is, if done correctly of course. Daytrading is a way of life and it's not the easiest job you know.
Did it for 2 months but didn't turned out as planned. I was using tools on sites like Blackfolio/newscrypto etc. Will probably get back to day trading when i stop working.
Day trading only suits for people who has a great patience and has a lot of time. In day trading you will get a little to big profit or sometimes nothing it depends on the coin you are invest with but yes it is profitable I have tried it before and I gain a little in my asset but that was before when I have no job to work for . You need  to pay attention in day trade  so that you will go with the flow of the market.
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you invest 60 BTC? on: November 02, 2019, 02:11:50 AM
This is the mistake that a lot of people make. Bitcoin itself is an investment asset. So what is the point in making an invest using it? Are you going to sell your Bitcoins and purchase some other asset (such as gold or stocks) using the proceedings? Two things needs to be remembered here. First of all when you will your BTC, capital gains tax needs to be paid on any profit resulting from it. And secondly, there is no guarantee that assets such as gold or stocks will be giving you a better profit when compared to BTC.

I would say this: just hold on to your coins for the next 5 years, and you'll be getting very good profit.
It is not a mistake at all, they could invest atleast 10BTC in altcoins such as eth and other that is in the top altcoin list. It is called an investment too, in each coin they will get a profit not at once and not to fast but they will. Top coins are good investment also, when bitcoin pumps they will also pump. This is my reason for my advice.
791  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I convert my money into? on: November 01, 2019, 04:03:17 PM
Upon reviewing post history of OP, I think he/she is now determined to invest money on Bitcoin based on OP's previous thread about Buying $150 worth Bitcoin every week and currently looking for a long term partnership. Therefore I think OP might have the idea about the risk and reward in Bitcoin investment so the only advise I could give is don't let FUD's affect his/her belief about Bitcoin, have some patience, hold and trust the process.
I hope that the OP has the firm decision now, and it is clear now to him that bitcoin price to go to the moon is uncertain. He will need a lot of patience because long term investment in bitcoin is too risky and a lot of dumps wi be happen , but we all know that bitcoin will soon go to the moon in its ATH price again.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2019, 12:11:02 PM

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

The trends come and go, that's their life story and the same is happening with bitcoin. People used to search a lot about bitcoin back in December 2017 when it's price peaked as shown by Google trends but that too went down a few months later. The trend of people searching about bitcoin increases with the increasing price of bitcoin and also decreases with decreasing price of bitcoin as per my theory.
When bitcoin price drops, people do panic thats why they loses their interest. They will sell their assests in exchange lower than the recent price so that they think they will get their money back and will not lose more than they have. But the thing is their losing interest will lose their money too.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: dormant addresses are waking up? on: November 01, 2019, 06:40:59 AM
Hi,

All below addresses were emptied this year. Most of them in Sept. 2019. Around 2982 BTC in 21 addresses.
All addresses were first used in 2011, and dormant until now.
BCH is still there except 1 address.

No spending transactions on them so the public key was not known.
The owner he suddenly remembered after 8 years that he had some BTC?

What are your opinions?
Yes its strange that it is has been opened now, but how do you find them? Does some of that wallet belongs to you? If not I have a feeling that someone has an access on it, maybe that address has a connection to each other and someone crack the keys and opened it. Or maybe it is in the same cloud and then someone hacks the way on it and then it happens .
794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did 95% of traders fail and lose money? on: October 31, 2019, 06:02:07 PM
I think that number is exaggerated. Every traders experiences loss from time to time but that doesn't necessary mean general failure.
Lack of knowledge and experience as well as lack of long term strategy could lead traders to loss and that they might give up trading but still such big numbers of those who quit are not correct I think.
yeah, 95% is too much, it is almost all of it. in my opinion some people don't trade every day, even they only do it a few times a year. for those who have already made a profit, and have been in crypto for a long time, I think they will continue to trade. maybe some people give up after 2 years of trading, but that doesn't guarantee that they will stop completely. they could come back if they saw an opportunity, and that happened to me. trading is not easy, that's why many people stop doing it.
Thats the problem wrong choice of coin to invest with is the main problem also putting all your money in trading even though you are not well trained as trader, and sometimes when they trade for a long term sometimes they didnt check if the coins goes pump or dump, they doesnt even check for updates, it is the main fault of a trader .
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin to invest excluding ETH on: October 31, 2019, 01:57:02 PM
Basically most altcoins follow the growth pattern followed by ethereum. When we look for altcoins that are promising to give profit other than ethereum, my first choice will be waves, next is cardano. Other than these two Iota will experience good growth as it has more usage around compared to the rest of the altcoins. Litecoin is good to invest, from my experience it is an asset good for trading than long term holding.
Yeah, but I suggest for you to invest in XRP, xrp is one of the good coins that can be found in different exchanges ,also when you want to withdraw xrp from your exchange wallet to your local wallet or transfer to other exchange it will be in an instant. I like xrp so much because it is not yet congested so therefore we can have a fast transaction.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: October 31, 2019, 10:32:56 AM
For starters, the best thing is of course, if you want to hold for a very long time, you need to choose the top cryptocurrency because holding new cryptocurrencies is too much a risk for the loss of your investments, therefore, investing in top cryptocurrencies you definitely will not lose and your investments will be in a safe place.
Choose only the best coins to invest with, we need to invest to those who will survive for a long time. You may also see the top coins in coinmarketcap, choose among all the top 100 coins so you dont have any regrets choosing it. Prepare yourself too incase your coin will go deeper than the amount you bought it.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH experiences the deepest downfall this year on: October 31, 2019, 08:49:35 AM
Really unexpected what happens to coin ethereum, whereas many investors rely heavily on ETH can give profit but instead it happens instead, some have already lost 30% more, now it is very difficult to determine the choice, whether to To sell ETH or hold until the price recovers.
If you still hold some ETH, then I think it is better for you to keep hold your ETH until the price recovers, but if you have a lot of free time maybe you can use your ETH For daily trading. Do not hesitate with ETH prices falling in this year because we will see that next year ETH prices will rise again.
Base on the chart. Etherium decreases by 40% as of chart in Binance in eth/btc pair. I would rather advice to hodl your eth as long as you can, it is not yet the best time to spend eth or to sell eth, wait for it to recovers, eth is too low now although circulating supply is big dont spend now, but instead buy more of it as much as you have the money, this is the right time to buy.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: October 31, 2019, 05:13:22 AM
To be honest i don't and i think nobody when will altcoin season happen again. Maybe this year or next year, don't lose hope because when the bullrun comes altcoin season will follow just be patient and wait.
Altcoin season will happen soon when bitcoin goes up again, im not an expert but everytime that the bitcoin goes up whether to its ATH or not the altcoin goes up too, maybe because all altcoins are dependent to bitcoin. If bitcoin will be more stable in the following weeks and months surely in next year we will see all of them in green.
799  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: October 30, 2019, 11:09:36 PM
Can i ask some advice from trading experts here, How could i trade safely and assure possible profit from my investments?
Trading is not always a win-win therefore you should not expect pure profits and no losses. But you can use your losses to find out your mistake.
And in order to profit from trading you need knowledge that can help you to succeed in this field. "
Knowing what is the right time to buy and the right time to sell, Get rid of doubt as it will not help you!
You cannot always win in trading  , there are so many chance and probabilities that you will lose as much as you win. The thing is in every trade that you do, make sure that the coin you investing is good , that is the right time to buy that coin and the coin  is not on its ath because if it is in ath you will not know if the coin dumps so fast or you would have a hard time to sell it.
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how i can protect offline wallet ? on: October 30, 2019, 03:14:21 PM
It would  be much better to save the offline wallet on cloud, portable harddisk with lock, email account, and phone storage and still encrypted. And that's the safest thing i know on where to save offline wallet.

But how your friend lost the offline wallet? Did he sent the file? Deleted it? Controlled the pc by the other person? Much better not to trust anyone to access the offline walllet.
Wallet in cloud is too risky too, hackers can encrypt the password and all the security stuff so that they can get the access to your wallet. Better to put 2FA in everything. By using hardware wallet you may save the key to portable hard drive, because it is a read only memory, it not prone to any virus or malwares , you only need to take care of it and dont let it fall because the disk inside might be damage.
