7921  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 12, 2018, 05:58:50 PM
I have read many posts of people saying they are sorry to have missed Bitcoin. But I wonder if they realise that there have been more than 20 trains out there that could have made them millionaires.

They have managed to miss at least all these, some of them as recent as July last year. It is not that you missed Bitcoin, is that you (and I) just missed many many others Roll Eyes

NXT          2013-09-28            +1084215%
IOTA         2015-11-25            +418179%
Neo           2015-10-01           +354482%
Ethereum   2014-07-22           +265772%

And the recent ones...
Populous      2017-06-24          +12181%
QTUM          2017-03-12           +10091%

Be honest to yourself... you did have a chance!
But the question is? We didnt even know on these coins to grow like this because along the way for sure we would really sell out for earliest times which is normal for a trader and i do believe only a few did really held off for long term but most of them do really sell out along the way which its really a regretful thing but its already late for them to realize. We cant go back in time while they are still cheap but we should think that we did make out of money of those coins.

Thank you for your attention.

17Million x rate of Nano (0.0011 BTC) = 18.7k BTC
wow a very big amount, so will the exchange give a compensation that the user lost?
No word yet came from them about such compensation which i doubt that this thing wont really be possible seeing on how big is the amount being hacked. As i doubt too this was just merely an inside job why those tokens being stolen and for those people who lost XRB now NANO then consider those tokens lost in void. Inside job or not but retrieving wont really be possible for sure.
7923  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If Bitcoin is not FIAT Currency !! It is Better Than That !! on: February 12, 2018, 04:41:35 PM
I know you guys will say Bitcoin is a FIAT currency , I am also supporting it. But i saw many people arguing that Bitcoin is not Fiat currency and it will be never be matched with that.

Bitcoin can not be a fiat currency as its a decentralized currency and no government has control over it. Bitcoins are not even legal tender in most of the countries in the world.

I got some reason to say if Bitcoin is not a Fiat currency it is better than that -

Everyone knows these features of the bitcoins and it doesn't prove your point either.

Please Merit me , suffering to get it. If you got some advise , i am ready to accept. [/color]

My advise for you, you can not ask for the merits and you might get negative trust for it.

Bolded part! This thing would really give you some nasty red paint into your account and even this post wont really be worth to be merited yet this is just a basic thing that everybody do already knows regarding into this matter on which bitcoin cant really be considered as a fiat currency we do know its a decentralized thing and as being said theres no point on explaining those basic informations above listed on OP.
7924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what are the rules for finding a serious airdrop on: February 12, 2018, 04:18:00 PM
I wonder how to know if an airdrop is likely to result ??
what are the important factors to consider ?

No one knows and theres no assurance that every airdrop we do join would really give a good result since most of them do failed out and only a few would succeed which would potential give us profits or free money in no time and less work. This is why as an airdrop hunter always seek out for most potential projects which we would see that do have possibilities on succeeding. On this way we can increase the chance on making money but still not a sure thing anytime.
7925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Checking crypto prices on: February 12, 2018, 03:41:57 PM
94% of those who own crypto currencies check them daily. I'm interested to see who often most prople here check.
You do have some good assumption and i will really have the same thing on mind which most people would really check their portfolio holdings on daily basis. In my situation im a both short and long time trader which i do really need to see prices from time to time checking if it do hit up my take profit or stop loss. This is important on having a constant update specially when you are an active trader but for long term purpose then its not really necessary.
7926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Is Having a Crash But Stay Calm on: February 12, 2018, 02:58:15 PM
you are mistaken, deceitful news is still influencing the price. No matter if it's a young project without a finished product or a major project like Ethereum...
I agree which no matter which project we do mean either having working product or just still on planning phase.Everything would really be affected when it comes to fundamentals this is why we do keep an eye regarding to these scenarios.

Yes things are moving pretty slow and soon it will climb and takes its super position, now it is going to and fro like a pendulum. I think all these were due to the fear that surrounds the current regulatory environment but this sorts of macro factors don't have much impact on the price. Hope market moves forward within few days.
Patience would really be the thing here if we can able to hold or would just surrender on what we do see on current situation of the market.
7927  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Alternatives to Blockchain.info? on: February 12, 2018, 02:37:43 PM
I just wanted to use blockchain.info for temp use
Just don't use it if you'll thinking to put big amount of bitcoins there for good. Don't use it as a storehouse, use other wallets that are even safer than bc.info. You can try greenaddress if you can't avail a hardware wallet.
As many others suggested, it is not recommended to use online wallets. But if you prefer web wallets over software or hardware ones, blockchain.info looks the best option in my opinion since it has lots of feature like for example the option to buy BTC and ETH directly from your wallet.
I'm using it because it's very handy and easy to use but it's only for small amount not with big amounts. Greenaddress is a good one which supports Segwit too.
Never tested yet green address wallet but for me i still feel safe to use electrum for lite version of bitcoin core..
You can backup seeds and private key and save anywhere in your computer or you can write down it into paper or notes..
And i was holding a good amount of bitcoin and until now never experience any issue.. the good thing you can use the latest segwit that you can reduce your transaction fee every time you transfer bitcoin unlike legacy wallet or non segwit wallet .

Just always remember use a wallet which you can backup the private key so that if the wallet lock down you can recover your wallet into other wallet with private key support..
Electrum is still safe after all and its developer Thomas is one of the most prominent person in the bitcoin economy and he has contributed a very big thing for providing this type of wallet. But with greenaddress you better try it out, it's a good wallet that allows you to support segwit as they are supporting it already. I find it the same thing with electrum, you can bump the fee if you get stuck so for others who are looking for alternative, not only with electrum have a try with greenaddress.
If i have to choose among the two then i would go for electrum which it do suits my need and its really convenient for me to use up but well this would be entirely depending on peoples preference which would suit him. Greedaddress is also good which do really support segwit and thats a good advantage when it bumping tx's.
7928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: February 12, 2018, 02:07:06 PM
Facebook have it new policy pertaining to initial coins offerings 'ICOs' . The policy specifically prohibits ads that promote ICO on it platform.
The banned is due to the fact there are so many companies who are advertising ICOs that are not currently operating in good standards and faith.
In the meantime, Facebook is encouraging people to report content that violates this new policy.
What effect do you think this will have on ICOs and future  of cryptocurrencies?

will have zero to no effect, only would decrease the amount of SMM advertising for the shit ICOs
there were not many anyways,Facebook ads are expensive and with less effectiveness than Google ads or Twitter, for example
but Facebook follows Youtube's footsteps, only it is a different category ban,but the big companies do not like to be associated with dubious content
be it facebook, youtube or any other social media-more than 20% of ICO funds have been stolen or misused, according to a research
so there is no doubt you as a potential content viewer would be better off not being able to see a scam ICO ad on facebook
They are really less ineffective since we do know that most people dont really have idea on what crypto is and as you said they are expensive compared into google ads or just simply on twitter basis. I dont have any idea on the statistics regarding on that 20% which i wasnt aware but yet we do saw that certain percentage is misused. This is actually an advantage for people on not being scammed.

7930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back at RED :( on: February 11, 2018, 04:30:42 PM
Coins are dumping again. I know that we won't really know when will things go back to normal. I am still holding my coins and hoping that it will recover after this awful dip. I just want to know who else here are holding? Do any of you got tired of waiting and did a panic sell? I know some people who sold their coins at a lower price before. I held into my principles and kept waiting but it seems like things aren't going smooth. Any thoughts about this? Please respect my post. Thanks!
Its not surprising that there would be holders and there would be panic sellers which is a common thing here on cryptoworld when it comes to investment or on making money. Going back in reds is common since we do know this market is too volatile and anytime it can pump or even dump. If we can able to make short tradings we can really make money on these waves but doing this would really be hard this is why most people do really just simply hold it for long term purpose.
7931  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ICOs asking for passport...is it safe? on: February 11, 2018, 03:17:17 PM
It has been one of the condition for purchasing ICO, most of the ICO now are heavy regulated, so it has becone requirements to buy ICO, I dont feel safe to hand over my identity to unknown site, but now most of exchanges now also require kyc documents, so if you still want to stay in crypto world, one day you will also need to hand over your identity

I get that it is a part of KYC policy or requirements however the passport contains information which may be potentially used for scams or identity theft. It's nice that valid identification is not made a requirement to invest in ICOs however there should be safeguards to give some protection for the investors as well. We can't impose this since you have the liberty anyway to back out or choose not to invest in that certain ICO if you are not willing to share your passport information, the risk will be in your own hands anyway.
Its your own choice if you would take the risk or not if you do find out that its really worth to invest on that certain ICO then its your choice as long you do know the risk about on the document that you have given into them. Its not really totally safe when you do give any information on this online world anyone can steal it and use it on other purposes which would really put you in trouble.
7932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips on choosing the right ICO on: February 11, 2018, 02:12:31 PM
How to choose the right tips for choosing a good project?

you should research all information of project like: dev team, product, adviser......

Its not enough only research that. Need more complex research before investing in ico.
But the main thing in my opinion is working product. Its reference to make sure the project is not scam.
Working product is really a good thing to see when we do invest since we can somehow assure that the project is already running and not just an imaginary but yet investing even on non working product projects do still have potential as long we do able to see on the team behind on how serious they are on building up on what they do propose.

How to choose the right tips for choosing a good project?
The site that I can recommend to you which I am sure most of the ico listed there was really and definitely potentials and really had a good project was www.bountylord.com and ico tracker also. You can find there also the the average allocation budget for the ico where you can get an idea about the content.
Together with our research we should really always seek out on these kind of sites which would really be helpful on justifying our assumptions which if we do find out that our informations gathered is right then we can easily make up our decisions.
7933  Economy / Economics / Re: How can you manage potential losses during a crash on: February 11, 2018, 12:25:44 PM
The best way to manage losses is to find and discover the reason why it happen, and overcome it or better, don't let it happen again by thinking of other way for the betterment of your profits.
This is how we do should treat our mistakes which we should learn from them instead of being discourage to continue because this would be always a stepping stone to success because all people who do start from the beginning do really normally commit this mistakes and for those who accept and improve theirselves would really sustain for long term.
The best way to manage losses is to find and discover the reason why it happen, and overcome it or better, don't let it happen again by thinking of other way for the betterment of your profits.
If you made a mistake in trading or buying coins then it is best like you said to discover the reason why that thing happen and that is how you are going to realize your mistakes and don't let your mistakes feel you down because be positive that you made a mistake because that means that you are trying and the best thing to do is make it as a basis for your next trading decisions.
Learning and discovering on where those mistakes is the most important for you evolve on what you are doing. Focus on things and you will succeed.
7934  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New ways to fight corruption on: February 11, 2018, 10:59:33 AM
I think that corruption can not be defeated. Corruption is inherent in human nature and as soon as a person has such a possibility, be sure that he will use it.
It cant really be defeated or nearly impossible to removed because its always been part of human nature to be greedy and when they are on the position or do see the chance on doing such thing then temptation is really on high chance that it would be done.In result it would really be still committed for those people who are on the top.

I'm taking action in my own small world. If you know a bigger group that have the same idea in mind I would love to join.
For many years I was all about transparency but I'm afraid the only way to reduce corruption is to reduce transparency, specially when it comes to people in power.

This is only possible for federalism type of government which I do see the some transparency and don't expect for big groups to fight this, there might be some but doesn't really completely make an impact to completely stop it.
7935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darn etherdelta on: February 11, 2018, 10:13:13 AM
etherdelta has been too slow after the hacking incident. This is especially true for loading the volume and the order book. The order book takes forever and at least a couple of tries to load. This has been happening ever since they were hacked. Ever since they have a new CEO, they introduced new fees (take out on our tokens) and the site is way slower, and they were hacked. Time to fire the new guy and rehire the old guy Smiley
As long as you keep using their exchange you are basically telling them you are fine with the situation as it is, the only way businesses like that learn is by losing revenue so if enough people get tired of the situation they will make an effort to fix those issues but that is never going to happen if everyone just accepts this, so find another exchange.
They do really definitely messed up their reputation with that incident but yet seeing on the current situation of Etherdelta as of now seems like theres no hacking incident happen in the past which we have seen the daily volume doesn't really change or don't have any difference at all which means people do still make use of it which isn't really surprising because most of new coins easily listed on Delta which doesn't have any choice but to make use of it.
7936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it easy to trade cryptocurrency? on: February 11, 2018, 09:15:16 AM
Is it easy to trade cryptocurrency?

The spread is lower that forex or it is the same?

Comment down below your opinion.

Thank you.

 Smiley
No it isn't, Ive been a forex and stocks traders in the past. I can able to tell the different among forex and crypto trading. We are trading centralized and a decentralized stuff which volatility is expected to be entirely different. Since you do ask about the spread then its not really like the same yet PIPs on crypto spread is on thousands of unit which isn't comparable to forex only 0-10 spreads depending on the broker. Profitability? I would say crypto would give the chance but it is more really risky than forex in my own view.
7937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MY MEW WALLET GOT HACKED! on: February 11, 2018, 08:37:17 AM

No one will find the scam from MEW wallet bro. People like you saying that got scammed done because of their mistaken while logging into the wallet at the time with the fake URL.
This they will give the pop-up when the time you are creating a wallet itself.
But still most of not taking the security measures with the private key.
All this people saying that they are scammed by myetherwallet has made a mistake  its either  victim of phishing or accidentally put thier private keys when they signed up on airdrops.
Only newbie people would cry out like this and they do blame myetherwallet once they do lost out their precious coins from their own wallet but totally its their own fault and negligence why they are being hacked or robbed out by someone because they are careless enough to be victimized by phishing sites which is common nowadays if you are not wary enough then most likely you would really be scammed. MEW is purely a wallet and you do have your own keys being generated which means no one would able to access that wallet if keys aren't compromised or disclosed.
7938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoinxcloud on: February 11, 2018, 08:01:40 AM
Hi ive been approached by a fellow trader and they recommended bitcoinxcloud.com does anyone have any knowledge or reviews of this site/company, the domain was only registered in November 17 so Im a bit dubious, thanks in advance!
You are a liar.

You are behind this shitty site where you didn't even had the money or understanding of how to set up an email tied to your domain name. @yahoo.com mail, really? Scammers are getting more lazy with the day.

What the hell!!!! Are you talking about! I am a novice trader who has come onto a forum (if you even understand the meaning of forum or its purpose) to ask for some advice about a new site that I have been recommended to, and was looking for help whether it be positive or negative and you are calling me a liar! I think you need to stop being a troll and go back under your bridge!
You cant blame people on this forum brother since there are lots of newbie or users who do just assume to ask about reputation of the site but the truth they are the ones who do make that site and just pretending that they don't know and ask people regarding it and hoping for new comers to believe and would invest to the site. Don't be surprised if people would really have this kind of reaction and sayings about you. Truth or not the most important thing is not to invest on these kind of schemes.

7940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is banning all ads promoting cryptocurrencies, including ICOs on: February 06, 2018, 03:06:02 PM
Guys what can you say about this article spreading in fb that fb will going to ban all the advertisements which related to bitcoin  and other crypto currencies including ICOs? As a bounty hunter, its seems very alarming.

Please read article: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/30/facebook-cryptocurrency-ads-banned--including-bitcoin-and-icos.html?__source=facebook%7Cnow

Alarming for bounty hunters? I see no. There are been ICO's in the past who not rely purely on Facebook in terms of advertisement. Yes it's a big help but overall, there are lots of means to spread their respective ICO's , not just in Facebook. If all about bounty thing, the percentage of rewards for Facebook bounties is not that much so a removal of it will not hurt bounty hunters. While on the other hand, if looking at the impact of advertisements, just look in the past where ICO's exposure is not that present much in Facebook but still some ICO's became success.

And aside from that, there are ICO advertisements in Facebook that isn't good to be true. It will just lead for misleading information and conception by people about the project. So for me, that will be a good move by Facebook.
Im still on neutral side when it comes to this decision made by facebook.Talking about bounty allocation in facebook campaign it is really much lesser compared into another medium of advertisement which i do agree that there still places which even more worth than facebook to advertise on.It might have a big traffic but doesnt mean it can get higher traffic or crypto-related investors. Theres no assurance regarding on this matter.
